I genuinely have no clue how someone can think "getting hit on the ear doesn't hurt"

Getting hit ANYWHERE on the head fucking hurts. I've got plenty of experience with it (various sources) for me personally, top of the head hurts worst (I have a gnarly scar there from a dog bite, very sensitive), but ear is pretty high on the list. Bonus Points for how the sensation made my tinnitus act up

The head is like a thin layer of watermelon rhine wrapped around the most precious organ in your body, and to discourage you from bashing it open, it was wrapped in meat that screams when it gets too close to a dangerous object.

I'm also having a hard time understanding how a person can come to that conclusion. It's... it's right there. You can touch and pull and smack your own ear. You will feel it hurt more than most other parts of your body.

I can only conclude that the anon has never had their ear physically abused, and quite frankly, I hope they never do. I hope they know their lack of personal experience is enviable.

47. Is your character outgoing? Would they be the leader of the friend group, or the quiet one that gets dragged along?

itari isn’t outgoing per say, he’s normally reading and examining everything around him wherever he goes. while he’s blunt about a lot of things, he’s also Very charismatic too. but he is more of the type to be silent unless he Truly needs to speak to those he,, honestly considers to being below him. there is a bit of a complex there. he isn’t rude about it though, and he definitely doesn’t try to be demeaning in anyway.

and talking friend groups, he wouldnt really Lead one no, itari doesn’t see the Point in close friends having a Rank System. but if you had to have a group leader, it would go to either him or lana depending on the Vibes of the day.

49. What is something that your character has nightmares about? Are these frequent? Do they heavily affect your character’s mood?

I have no idea how in depth i went on his backstory because Bad Memory, but basics being he and sappho are twins and were being raised by the jedi, and itari’s master was their father p much. as a Recap (and this might not be very coherent and maybe a bit long sorry fjfhfh)

and what led to him becoming a sith is what plagues him the most, which was being left to die by his own father. when he was about ten too. annd his mother saving him and taking him in too (who happene to be a sith lord)

there’s still Specifics i’m working on, but essentially, they were on jedi business you probably shouldn’t of taken a Young Child, even a padawan, on. and things got dicey. and the worst part wasn’t the pain, or the fact he was alone and Dying, knowing he won’t get out. the worst part was when he tried to reach out to sappho through their force bond, to feel at least Something other than Pure Agony, something comforting in his death, just *something*. and then he couldn’t. because the connection he had to the force was Gone.

it plagued him constantly when he was in recovery. every time he slept he relived it. and when he was awake? the memories played over and over again.

nowadays, it’s rare. it picks up again after the Cave Incident though, which was a Fun Time for itari. and when he does have the nightmares, his mood is. very much affected by it. he kinda reverts back to when he was a kid and recovering from the whole thing, which is Extremely Jumpy and territorial? i think thats a good word to use. most people leave him alone when it happens, unsure how to handle it bc of how out of character it is. if he’s around his mother and/or her qpp (unnamed and no idea what species either just yet bc im indescivive), his favorite tea is on the pot and they just. lay down and watch holovids for awhile. it’s comforting 99% of the time, even if its Temporary. otherwise he’ll just. channel his emotions through the dark side of the force and hope he’ll be able to push the memories back far enough to feel okay again.
