👟 : What's something mundane about your character that you adore?

I love this question because I’ve always preferred realism to high fantasy; to me, all the grandest magical battles or martial power struggles amount to nothing if you don’t get a frank picture at the people involved in them.

To be honest with you I wrote a couple of rambling paragraphs about this point and then erased them. I’ll keep it simple: Arvanna is both a revenant and a mother. The contrast between her long journey through death and resurrection and the constant gestures of love and responsibility she now carries out makes her (to me) very dynamic and therefore interesting to write.
