As per (The Quality Control) Order 2020, issued by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India, from 1st January 2021, BIS certification is mandatory for manufacturers and importers of toys for children under the age of 14 years to sell them in the Indian market.
