Riad Bab Berdaine
When I first arrived at Meknès, I head straight to the riad where I was staying, left my stuff there and head straight out for lunch. I never got to get a closer look at the riad but now that I have been to the medina and beyond, I have my chance to see the riad. Riad BAb Berdaine is probably one of the first riads that would come up in your searches. I think this is also the experience of others since there were other people also staying in the same place. The riad is on the fringes of the medina. It is in a quiet residential area so you think it might be little difficult to find. Amazingly, I managed to find the riad very easily. This is probably the first riad which I didn't have call up.

Breakfast at Riad Bab Berdaine
I'm glad that I have finally gotten back on track as far as my itinerary is concerned. I spent two days trying to catch up to the itinerary but it looks like things have finally settled down. I spent the whole day exploring the royal city of Meknès and I slept like a baby after that. I was staying at the Riad Bab Berdaine is which on the outskirts of the medina. I was given a room at the roof top, which makes me wonder if it was actually part of the riad itself. I guess it gives me some peace and quiet but it was a bit awkward to be going through the laundry before going to my room. Regardless of where it is, it was actually more than I needed and I slept comfortably.
