Bucci Gang Reacts to Narancia Saying Reader Would Make a Good Wife

Note: Just a cute idea I had today. Enjoy!

On a cool Saturday morning, you and Buccellati’s gang relaxed in the hideout while you served breakfast. They always enjoyed it when you were on cooking duty for the day, since you, along with Buccellati and Giorno, were one of the most talented cooks in the gang.

Your fellow members conversed amongst themselves as you prepared the dishes, each of them pausing to thank you as you set their respective plates down in front of them, before continuing with the topic at hand. You smiled and nodded at each expression of gratitude before arriving at the last member, Narancia, who patiently waited with a grin on his face that reminded you of the morning sun.

You smiled back at him, setting down a plate of mouth watering pancakes with sweet syrup and orange slices, along with a glass of his beloved pulp orange juice.

“Wow, pancakes? This is exactly what I wanted! Thanks so much (Name)!” He cheered.

“It’s no problem at all, Narancia,” you said, giggling. “I hope you like it!”

“I’m sure I will,” he replied, taking a bite before speaking loudly without a second thought. “You know (Name)? You’d make a great wife.”

The calm chatter in the room suddenly dissipated and you were left with a face as red as the strawberries on Fugo’s pastries.

Bruno Buccellati

The moment those words came out of Narancia’s mouth, Buccellati turned his head to look at the boy in shock.

“Huh? Narancia?”

He immediately chuckled and shook his head, giving you and the boy a knowing smile.

Narancia wasn’t wrong. You truly would make a great wife; you were beautiful, caring, and generous. What more could a man possibly want? And Narancia wasn’t really the type to filter his words. He clearly appreciated you.

He decided not to comment any further in fear of further embarrassing you, calmly taking a sip of his coffee as he watched everyone else’s reactions.

Leone Abbacchio

He scoffed before sipping his coffee.

What was Narancia thinking when he said that? That isn’t something you just spew out for the world to hear.

Kids…

Though he would be lying if he denied that the face you made was funny.

Guido Mista

“Woahhh, Narancia,” he said, giving his friend an incredulous look. “You can’t just say that out loud!”

“Well it’s true!!” Narancia fired back.

“Yeah but you still can’t say that out loud!!”

They continued bickering back and forth, making you even more flustered.

Pannacotta Fugo

He just awkwardly looked around the room, making eye contact with Buccellati, before looking back at the scene in front of him.

He, too, didn’t understand how Narancia had the guts to say that out loud, especially to your face.

Then again it’s Narancia, he says what’s on his mind.

Plus, everyone in the gang, including Fugo, knew how sweet you were, especially to Narancia. And being his friend, Fugo knew how much kindness meant to Narancia.

If anything, he was actually quite happy for his friend for finding someone he liked, regardless of whether his feelings were romantic or not.

Giorno Giovanna

He was also dumbfounded as he watched the scene unfold, observing with wide eyes.

Though despite his expression, he quickly understood.

Like Fugo, he was keenly aware of Narancia’s appreciation of your kindness towards him.

He wouldn’t be surprised if his raven haired friend had a crush on you either.

Though he was quick to notice that Narancia and Mista’s bickering was causing you discomfort and quickly mediated it. Not without giving you a supportive smile and nod as a way of silently urging you to cease your worrying and join them for breakfast.

Trish Una

She was just about to eat a bite of the delicious waffles you had made her but immediately paused to stare at Narancia.

“Narancia!!” She whisper yelled in shock before covering her mouth.

She couldn’t help but giggle. Not only was this so surprising but she also couldn’t help finding it adorable.

Like Giorno, she wouldn’t be surprised if Narancia had feelings for you. Besides, she thought you would be great for eachother.

She watched the entire scene, still covering her mouth with excitement and exchanging a knowing glance with Buccellati.

When it starts he’s already waiting intently for you to start singing.

As you sing, he pays close attention to not only your voice but also the lyrics and he quickly realizes, wow this song is actually rather sad.

He wants to believe that this isn’t how you feel but since you’re the one who chose this song, he sort of can’t help but worry a bit.

As a capo, he completely understands what it’s like to have many expectations put on you, and he knows plenty of other people who’ve had to face the same difficulties throughout their life. It’s not easy.

When you finish singing, he claps loudly, congratulating you for your performance. He doesn’t ask you why you chose this song to avoid making you feel uncomfortable, but regardless of your reasons, he makes a greater effort to show you that he appreciates your hard work.

Leone Abbacchio

He sort of stares at you the entire time, listening to you sing as he takes little sips of wine. You can’t really tell what he’s thinking.

He’s honestly kinda digging the song. While pop isn’t really his thing, he’s into more serious and depressing lyrics, so he’s content.

Unlike Buccellati, he takes your performance at surface level and doesn’t speculate. He just thinks you like the song and decided to sing it. Besides, he isn’t really the type to dig into people’s personal lives.

He will casually applaud you after you’re finished, but if he ever finds out that you chose this song for deeper reasons he will be more protective of you in the future (don’t ask him about it though, he will be tsun 🤫).

Guido Mista

He’s pretty chill when it starts, grooving along with the tune while watching you.

His expression doesn’t change much as the song goes on. He does notice the heavy lyrics though and tilts his head slightly in surprise.

He widens his eyes at the more “graphic” lyrics and exchanges glances with Narancia, but like his friend, he will take it at surface level. This isn’t the first cheerful sounding song he’s heard that has dark lyrics.

He whoops and claps for you when you finish, telling you that you rock.

Though Mista is a really loyal friend and if he finds out that this song is somehow related to something you have gone through, he will make every effort he can to show you that he appreciates you.

Narancia Ghirga

Being the music lover he is, he’s already swaying slightly to the beat when the song begins.

You start singing and he’s watching intently, still bopping a little to the beat. He doesn’t seem to be paying much attention to the lyrics.

That’s until he hears “‘Cause I feel like I’m the worst so I always act like I’m the best” and he’s like wait,,, what???

His eyes widen and eyebrows furrow in realization and he looks at Mista.

He becomes more visibly concerned at “I’m gonna fail, I’m gonna die” and looks to the side with worry. His expressiveness is sort of adorable.

You may even notice him knowingly glance at Fugo every now and then.

Regardless of the lyrics, he takes your performance at face value, and claps and cheers really enthusiastically. He will ask why you chose this song though, and if it is for personal reasons, he will be extremely supportive and hug you tightly, telling you how brave you are. He loves his friends so much 💕

Panacotta Fugo

There’s no character that relates to this song more than he does.

At first he watches you nonchalantly while resting his cheek in his palm.

When the song starts he actually likes the sound of the music. While he’s more of a classical music fan, it’s still a pleasant tune.

Though as the song goes on his demeanor changes and he looks lost. Almost as if he’s… remembering things…?

“If I fail I’ll fall apart…”

Wow, this song hits him right in the heart, it’s almost as if the artist dedicated it to him. He’s never related to a song so much and, while the memories make him sad and maybe even tear up slightly, it lifts part of the weight off of his shoulders.

He’s too dazed to applaud you when you finish. Though he definitely asks you to tell him again what song it was, albeit shyly.

Giorno Giovanna

Like Abbacchio, it’s hard to tell what’s going on in his head, other than the focused look he’s giving you.

But he’s sort of wondering what made you choose this song. Is it because you like the way it sounds? Or do you connect with it in some way?

He finds the contrast between the cheerful music and sad lyrics interesting.

And he’s 100% reading your body language to confirm whether you actually relate to the song or you’re just singing it for fun.

He doesn’t show much emotion throughout the entire thing but you can practically feel him examine your every move.

He claps for you when you finish, still observing you. If he thinks that you just chose this song for fun he doesn’t do much except compliment you with a smile, though if there truly is a reason behind your choice he will look out for you even more in the future.

Trish Una

Ooo the beat is nice! She’s visibly more lively once the song starts and listens intently as you sing.

Though she soon realizes that this song is deeper than the music may let on and is a bit taken aback. Though that doesn’t mean she doesn’t like it!

She sways ever so slightly as you sing, though she lowkey hesitates when you get to the “I’m gonna fail, I’m gonna die” part.

She claps politely when you’re finished, complimenting your song choice and making sure to ask you the name of the band later. Though if she overhears you talking about personal reasons behind this song she will make an even bigger effort as your friend (even if she was great already) by hanging out with you more often 🥺💗

He likes the song at first. He thinks the name is uplifting and thinks you’re singing it nicely.

Watches you intently with a slight smile of intrigue.

Then the beat drop and music comes along and you’re just standing there waiting, and he waits too, for you to continue singing to this beautiful melody. But his eyes widen when you start speaking,

“What they don’t really realize tho… This next verse… This nEXT VERSE THO… THESE B A R S… Watch this some shit, go…”

His eyes widen further when you finally drop the best bars of the century

“Poopy di scoop, scoop diddy whoop, whoop di scoop di poop”

Despite this, he’s sort of a boomer so doesn’t understand just how profound this song is. He sits there looking up at you confused and at some point exchanges a look with Abbacchio.

Smiles and claps with confusion when you finish

Leone Abbacchio

Oh no.

He knows what this song is.

He’s had to listen to Narancia play it at least 5 times a day before.

He’s immediately rolling his eyes and pinching the bridge of his nose as soon as the first note plays.

At least your singing is decent enough he supposes.

Then the awaited moment arrives and you begin rapping.

He’s got this grimace on his face and you’re desperately trying not to laugh.

When Bruno glances at him he shakes his head, silently telling him not to even bother asking.

Lackluster clapping at the end

Guido Mista

Almost chokes on his drink.

Man does he love this song.

He laughs cheers as soon as you begin singing.

He grooves lightly with the beat while taking a swig of his drink every so often 😙🎶

When the instrumental plays he goes quiet while grooving and stares up at you expectantly while smirking.

His smirk only widens when you speak, preparing everyone for the legendary words.

“Poopy di scoop, scoop diddy whoop, whoop di scoop di poop”

He laughs and chants them with you tbh.

Raises his drink and whistles when you finish.

Narancia Ghirga

He’s your resident rap lover so there’s no way he wouldn’t know and love this song. Ironically and unironically.

He cheers along with Mista when you start but is more enthusiastic, ignoring Abbacchio’s glare.

A grin is plastered on his face and he practically vibrates with happiness as the song goes on.

Definitely mouths the lyrics.

You can clearly see that he’s very hyped even during the instrumental bit and it’s hard not to smile.

When you finally begin rapping the killer lyrics he cheers so loudly your ears ring.

He 100% raps along with you and Mista.

“POOPY DI SCOOP!!! SCOOP DIDDY WHOOP!!!”

He practically tackles you in a hug when you exit off the stage. It’s both hilarious and adorable.

Pannacotta Fugo

Like Abbacchio he’s also a victim of having to hear this song on repeat for hours at a time.

He is gritting his teeth to hold himself back from an outburst that is especially due to Narancia and Mista’s loud cheering.

He sits hunched over, rubbing his temples while he watches you in disdain with pursed lips.

He’s already dreading the iconic verse as soon as the instrumental part starts playing and scrunches his nose when you speak.

When you start rapping he’s already done. He’s burying his head in his hands as Narancia and Mista go wild.

Glares as you with his head in his palm as you come off stage.

Giorno Giovanna

Hasn’t heard this song before and, like Buccellati, thinks it sounds quite pleasant.

He watches politely with one leg crossed over the other, observing you. He’s definitely a bit startled by Mista and Narancia’s enthusiasm.

Now he has a feeling that this song is more than it may seem on the surface, though he’s definitely not prepared for the moment you speak after the instrumental. He tilts his head as he listens.

When you finally rap he’s got the same vibe as 🧍‍♂️ but sitting down.

Doesn’t know what to make of this experience but claps nonetheless.

Trish Una

She doesn’t listen to rap music so she doesn’t know what song this is.

As you sing, she listens while swaying ever so slightly to the beat, ignoring Narancia’s hollering. This is a pretty nice song, she could get behind it.

She’s a bit confused by the music break and thinks that the song is over until you speak. She was not expecting that.

Though when you start rapping, she makes the most incredulous face you’ve ever seen her make. She then immediately attempts to stifle a giggle, albeit mostly failing to.

Why would anyone write a song like this…?

She claps for you with an amused smile on her face.
