Bucci Gang Reacts to Narancia Saying Reader Would Make a Good Wife

Note: Just a cute idea I had today. Enjoy!

On a cool Saturday morning, you and Buccellati’s gang relaxed in the hideout while you served breakfast. They always enjoyed it when you were on cooking duty for the day, since you, along with Buccellati and Giorno, were one of the most talented cooks in the gang.

Your fellow members conversed amongst themselves as you prepared the dishes, each of them pausing to thank you as you set their respective plates down in front of them, before continuing with the topic at hand. You smiled and nodded at each expression of gratitude before arriving at the last member, Narancia, who patiently waited with a grin on his face that reminded you of the morning sun.

You smiled back at him, setting down a plate of mouth watering pancakes with sweet syrup and orange slices, along with a glass of his beloved pulp orange juice.

“Wow, pancakes? This is exactly what I wanted! Thanks so much (Name)!” He cheered.

“It’s no problem at all, Narancia,” you said, giggling. “I hope you like it!”

“I’m sure I will,” he replied, taking a bite before speaking loudly without a second thought. “You know (Name)? You’d make a great wife.”

The calm chatter in the room suddenly dissipated and you were left with a face as red as the strawberries on Fugo’s pastries.

Bruno Buccellati

The moment those words came out of Narancia’s mouth, Buccellati turned his head to look at the boy in shock.

“Huh? Narancia?”

He immediately chuckled and shook his head, giving you and the boy a knowing smile.

Narancia wasn’t wrong. You truly would make a great wife; you were beautiful, caring, and generous. What more could a man possibly want? And Narancia wasn’t really the type to filter his words. He clearly appreciated you.

He decided not to comment any further in fear of further embarrassing you, calmly taking a sip of his coffee as he watched everyone else’s reactions.

Leone Abbacchio

He scoffed before sipping his coffee.

What was Narancia thinking when he said that? That isn’t something you just spew out for the world to hear.

Kids…

Though he would be lying if he denied that the face you made was funny.

Guido Mista

“Woahhh, Narancia,” he said, giving his friend an incredulous look. “You can’t just say that out loud!”

“Well it’s true!!” Narancia fired back.

“Yeah but you still can’t say that out loud!!”

They continued bickering back and forth, making you even more flustered.

Pannacotta Fugo

He just awkwardly looked around the room, making eye contact with Buccellati, before looking back at the scene in front of him.

He, too, didn’t understand how Narancia had the guts to say that out loud, especially to your face.

Then again it’s Narancia, he says what’s on his mind.

Plus, everyone in the gang, including Fugo, knew how sweet you were, especially to Narancia. And being his friend, Fugo knew how much kindness meant to Narancia.

If anything, he was actually quite happy for his friend for finding someone he liked, regardless of whether his feelings were romantic or not.

Giorno Giovanna

He was also dumbfounded as he watched the scene unfold, observing with wide eyes.

Though despite his expression, he quickly understood.

Like Fugo, he was keenly aware of Narancia’s appreciation of your kindness towards him.

He wouldn’t be surprised if his raven haired friend had a crush on you either.

Though he was quick to notice that Narancia and Mista’s bickering was causing you discomfort and quickly mediated it. Not without giving you a supportive smile and nod as a way of silently urging you to cease your worrying and join them for breakfast.

Trish Una

She was just about to eat a bite of the delicious waffles you had made her but immediately paused to stare at Narancia.

“Narancia!!” She whisper yelled in shock before covering her mouth.

She couldn’t help but giggle. Not only was this so surprising but she also couldn’t help finding it adorable.

Like Giorno, she wouldn’t be surprised if Narancia had feelings for you. Besides, she thought you would be great for eachother.

She watched the entire scene, still covering her mouth with excitement and exchanging a knowing glance with Buccellati.

When it starts he’s already waiting intently for you to start singing.

As you sing, he pays close attention to not only your voice but also the lyrics and he quickly realizes, wow this song is actually rather sad.

He wants to believe that this isn’t how you feel but since you’re the one who chose this song, he sort of can’t help but worry a bit.

As a capo, he completely understands what it’s like to have many expectations put on you, and he knows plenty of other people who’ve had to face the same difficulties throughout their life. It’s not easy.

When you finish singing, he claps loudly, congratulating you for your performance. He doesn’t ask you why you chose this song to avoid making you feel uncomfortable, but regardless of your reasons, he makes a greater effort to show you that he appreciates your hard work.

Leone Abbacchio

He sort of stares at you the entire time, listening to you sing as he takes little sips of wine. You can’t really tell what he’s thinking.

He’s honestly kinda digging the song. While pop isn’t really his thing, he’s into more serious and depressing lyrics, so he’s content.

Unlike Buccellati, he takes your performance at surface level and doesn’t speculate. He just thinks you like the song and decided to sing it. Besides, he isn’t really the type to dig into people’s personal lives.

He will casually applaud you after you’re finished, but if he ever finds out that you chose this song for deeper reasons he will be more protective of you in the future (don’t ask him about it though, he will be tsun 🤫).

Guido Mista

He’s pretty chill when it starts, grooving along with the tune while watching you.

His expression doesn’t change much as the song goes on. He does notice the heavy lyrics though and tilts his head slightly in surprise.

He widens his eyes at the more “graphic” lyrics and exchanges glances with Narancia, but like his friend, he will take it at surface level. This isn’t the first cheerful sounding song he’s heard that has dark lyrics.

He whoops and claps for you when you finish, telling you that you rock.

Though Mista is a really loyal friend and if he finds out that this song is somehow related to something you have gone through, he will make every effort he can to show you that he appreciates you.

Narancia Ghirga

Being the music lover he is, he’s already swaying slightly to the beat when the song begins.

You start singing and he’s watching intently, still bopping a little to the beat. He doesn’t seem to be paying much attention to the lyrics.

That’s until he hears “‘Cause I feel like I’m the worst so I always act like I’m the best” and he’s like wait,,, what???

His eyes widen and eyebrows furrow in realization and he looks at Mista.

He becomes more visibly concerned at “I’m gonna fail, I’m gonna die” and looks to the side with worry. His expressiveness is sort of adorable.

You may even notice him knowingly glance at Fugo every now and then.

Regardless of the lyrics, he takes your performance at face value, and claps and cheers really enthusiastically. He will ask why you chose this song though, and if it is for personal reasons, he will be extremely supportive and hug you tightly, telling you how brave you are. He loves his friends so much 💕

Panacotta Fugo

There’s no character that relates to this song more than he does.

At first he watches you nonchalantly while resting his cheek in his palm.

When the song starts he actually likes the sound of the music. While he’s more of a classical music fan, it’s still a pleasant tune.

Though as the song goes on his demeanor changes and he looks lost. Almost as if he’s… remembering things…?

“If I fail I’ll fall apart…”

Wow, this song hits him right in the heart, it’s almost as if the artist dedicated it to him. He’s never related to a song so much and, while the memories make him sad and maybe even tear up slightly, it lifts part of the weight off of his shoulders.

He’s too dazed to applaud you when you finish. Though he definitely asks you to tell him again what song it was, albeit shyly.

Giorno Giovanna

Like Abbacchio, it’s hard to tell what’s going on in his head, other than the focused look he’s giving you.

But he’s sort of wondering what made you choose this song. Is it because you like the way it sounds? Or do you connect with it in some way?

He finds the contrast between the cheerful music and sad lyrics interesting.

And he’s 100% reading your body language to confirm whether you actually relate to the song or you’re just singing it for fun.

He doesn’t show much emotion throughout the entire thing but you can practically feel him examine your every move.

He claps for you when you finish, still observing you. If he thinks that you just chose this song for fun he doesn’t do much except compliment you with a smile, though if there truly is a reason behind your choice he will look out for you even more in the future.

Trish Una

Ooo the beat is nice! She’s visibly more lively once the song starts and listens intently as you sing.

Though she soon realizes that this song is deeper than the music may let on and is a bit taken aback. Though that doesn’t mean she doesn’t like it!

She sways ever so slightly as you sing, though she lowkey hesitates when you get to the “I’m gonna fail, I’m gonna die” part.

She claps politely when you’re finished, complimenting your song choice and making sure to ask you the name of the band later. Though if she overhears you talking about personal reasons behind this song she will make an even bigger effort as your friend (even if she was great already) by hanging out with you more often 🥺💗

Summary: This is an AU of mine about La Squadra surviving. It also has tie-ins with some other lore of mine but it’s altered a little bit as well! I might introduce some of my three JJBA OCs in the near future so keep an eye out! This is also written in Fugo's POV as well!

Pannacotta Fugo didn’t really expect for anyone to be home at their apartment at this hour of the day or let alone expect any visitors when he was on his break. The only people he expected to be at their home were their 5 cats and no one else.

The moment he and En---and by extension, Mista and the Pistols moved in, it had been some form of ritual for them to at least spend their lunch-break at home as opposed to eating out at Libbecio considering that most of GioGio, Bria and Bucciarati’s private meetings were held there and it also gave them some time to do some of the minor household chores in order to lessen the chores they’ll be doing later on once they all came back home from their respective jobs. Despite being a part of a mafia or at least having ties within the mafia, they made sure that they had some form of normalcy in their bizarre lifestyle.

Imagine his surprise when he heard his girlfriend’s voice, amicably chatting with another voice that seemed awfully familiar yet so distant to him. Fugo knew his girlfriend had several friends across the globe for two reasons—internet friends and friends she and Trish had from work. The blonde really didn’t have any reason to suspect En going behind his back or let alone be dishonest with him and their relationship, considering that Fugo trusted her very much and in turn, En did as well. But there was just something that made his stomach do uneasy flips, his senses on high but calm alert as if there was an enemy nearby.

“No.” Fugo thought to himself as he took a deep breath in, in a way to steel his nerves, “You’re just probably on edge today. I’m sure En is fine.”

Letting out the breath he was holding, Fugo straightened himself up, shoulders squared despite his brow raised and groceries in hand, he then closed the door shut with his elbow, throwing his keys over to the bowl while his cat, Bellini went up to greet the strawberry blonde male, who in turn, gave said feline a gentle scratch behind her ears, immediately making his way over to where En was with their current guest as he called out, voice ringing through their apartment as he did so, “Miele, I’m home, I bought some groceries with m-“

What the fuck.

WHAT THE FUCK!?!?

There before him in the Lounge Area that overlooked the terrace of their home was En (who in his eyes, still looked as lovely as ever), dressed in one of his old Jimi Hendrix shirts that she had ‘stolen’ from him and eventually converted into a crop-top with the help of Trish and Mista and a pair of dark, high-waist ripped skinny jeans, her feet bare and hair held up by a claw clip, cradling her mug of coffee and on her left was his older brother and member of the very sector that tried to kill him and the rest of the group seven years ago, Prosciutto.

Fear shot in his veins, his pulse quickening and before he knew it, Fugo was protectively standing right beside En, groceries haphazardly set on one of the couches as Fugo questioned, an edge to his words, “Did he hurt you?”

“What?? Fugo w-what are you on about??” En questioned, eyes blinking rapidly behind her specs, her gaze darting back and forth over to Fugo and a now very exasperate-looking Prosciutto, his good eye gazing at Fugo as the assassin turned to face the recently turned 23 year-old, “Rest assured, fratello-“ Prosciutto spoke, an emphasis on the word ‘fratello’ that seemed to make Fugo flinch and En react behind the two males, eyes wide and mouth open, shooting Fugo a look and furiously mouthing, ‘HE’S YOUR BROTHER?!?!?’, “Your darling wife is fine. I came here under the orders of the Don regarding the offer he gave to her.”

Prosciutto finished, nodding over to En, who was still stunned about the revelation that Prosciutto and Fugo were brothers and the papers that lay in the middle of the table---the very same papers that Giorno had presented them both that night he offered the position to En. The gears in Fugo’s brain began to turn as he raked his head for answers and then it clicked.

“You took the position?” Fugo managed to gasp out, his head now facing En’s now calm but questioning look as she stood up, “Yeah, don’t you remember? I told you about it last night while washing the dishes after considering it.” Glancing back at his brother then back at his girlfriend, Fugo managed to excuse them both as he took En by the wrist, his grip gentle yet firm, the two of them heading over towards the dining room on the other side of the house, closing the glass double doors shut.

“So, when were you going to tell me that Pros is your brother, hm, Pannacotta?” came En’s voice, head tilted slightly downwards and arms crossed firmly against her chest, brow raised as the as the currently bleached blonde stared at Fugo, waiting for his response, her expression clearly unamused with this before Fugo shot back, his voice in a hurried half-whisper half-yell, “We’ll talk about that later! Why didn’t you tell me you took the job!? Eunice, I love you and you know that but I don’t want you to get hurt!”

Holding up a hand to stop him, which Fugo immediately had done, to avoid En scolding him, listening to her words, “Panna, I understand your concerns about me joining La Squadra but rest assured that I can handle myself.” Patting his cheek, with a gentle grin, Fugo seemed to find himself easing up ever so slightly at this but he was still worried about En working with the Hitman Team.

Fugo’s relationship with the Hitman Team was…strained. The last thing he knew about them was during the time he had gone up against Illuso and the rest of it was…blank, almost as if he was dreaming, he knew that The Hitman team posed a threat and he couldn’t help but to be constantly vigilant. Not that anyone had tampered with his memory or anything but most of his time was spent making sure that Trish was safe, that was the last time he had heard about their whereabouts.

The next thing he could remember was that Giorno had told him that he had welcomed the Hitman Team back to Passione after telling him that they had the same goals all this time, but Fugo was no fool. He knew there was more to the story than Giorno had told him but decided to put his trust in his friend and let him explain in due time.

“Fugo??”

Snapping himself out of his thoughts, the strawberry blonde haired male blinked at his girlfriend, whose expression had changed into one of concern as she continued to speak, “You okay? You kind of blanked out on me there.”

“My apologies, amore. I was thinking.” Was his immediate response, his hand gently holding the one upon his cheek before pulling away as Fugo continued, almost as if he had read the blonde’s mind, “I was thinking about the offer GioGio had presented us before and I’ve decided to agree and support your decision whole-heartedly, 100%.”

En found herself blinking in surprise, a bit taken aback by her beloved's response as she cupped his face in her hands, "A-are you sure? You're not fucking with me right??"

Fugo, in response to En's reaction made him laugh a little, his own palms above hers, thumb caressing the back of her hands as he spoke, "I'm sure of it. But my only main concern is that of your safety. Being an assassin for Passione means big business and I mean big business. I know I'm not exactly on good terms with La Squadra as I've told you before but I just want you to stay safe alright? Just promise me one thing?"

"What is it, Panna?" En replied, feeling the weight of his words sink in as both of their hands were lowered by Fugo, now in between them and the strawberry blonde holding onto their clasped hands like it was his lifeline, gaze serious but gentle, "I want you to promise me that you'll do your best to stay safe. I trust your skills but I don't want you getting yourself killed."

Grinning at him, En could only seal his words with a kiss on his forehead as she spoke, "I promise. But you gotta tell me the story of you and Prosciutto being brothers, alright?"

"Fine, fine. I promise!"

"Good!" Glancing over at the closed doors that led to the living room, the bleached blonde could only give Fugo a pat on the back as she smiled, "Lets go and fix up those papers with your brother, okay?" and with that the duo went back to the living room, the doors behind him closing with a firm shut.

Pannacotta Fugo is a serious and caring but easily enraged youth. Fugo has a very caring personality, as shown in his past when he brings a young Narancia, who was suffering from hunger and from an eye disease, into a restaurant and asks Bucciarati to give him food. He even continues to greatly care for Narancia, tutoring him

However, once upset Fugo is quite hotheaded and violent. It is stated that he dropped out of school because he bashed his teacher with an encyclopedia. He was also shown to violently stab Narancia with a fork and slam his head over a table when the latter made a basic mistake and jabbing him in the stomach with keys when he repeatedly restated orders incorrectly. His Stand, when shown to be belligerent, is said to reflect this aspect of his personality. The anime adaptation expands upon this, showing that Fugo was mentally unstable because of the pressure of his parents to achieve the highest academic grades, containing violent or even murderous impulses during his entire youth. Fugo only became openly angry at a lecherous teacher and has never since tried to solve his anger issues.

Fugo is also a very intelligent and serious member. Though he did indeed drop out of school in the end, it still stands that his academic ability allowed him to enter university level at the age of only 13. During Team Bucciarati's bodyguarding mission, he was one of the most cautious and would frequently advise for the safer option. When presented with the choice to stay with Bucciarati's group and betray the Boss or leave and seek safety, Fugo deserted the group, having resigned to the logical reasoning of the group inevitably having to battle The Boss.and acting protective of him at times. Fugo is usually a friendly member of the group, easily mingling with the turbulent Mista and Narancia, being the first to greet Trish Una, and openly acknowledging Giorno's ability and greatly praising him after their fight together.
