Truthfully, he’s been imagining moments like this for a while.

Slow, rainy days where the two of you meet somewhere just before dark. He’ll come from work and meet you at the station after your school lets out. The two of you will walk together until you find someplace warm and toasty where he can enjoy a cup of coffee and your presence. The two of you would talk- or rather, he would have you talk about any and everything. And he’d just listen. The time would roll by, and your drinks would run out, but he’d have you by his side wouldn’t he? Someone to make things easier. Someone to turn to. Someone to love.

When it gets too dark, he’ll walk you home. Not just to the station, but all the way home, like a turn gentleman. Even if he has to ride the train all night. He wouldn’t walk away until he can confirm you’re safe and sound through your front door. The one he’ll be sure to remind you to lock once your inside. Someone who never fared well in the presence of strangers or intimidating figures. You did always cling to Akira or one of the other girls whenever he saw you out in public.

But then he sees you. Laughing, smiling,  speaking unapologetically to other people. You’re popular at your school. You’re well-liked.  Loved, even. And sure, there’s a nervous gnaw of your lip or an anxious tug of the hem of your skirt but it fades. It’s not every day, it’s just every time you see him. And usually, it wouldn’t matter to him. Usually, he wouldn’t care. He’s never seen himself as a jealous man. And how could he? With countless fans, there’s no reason he should be so heavily focused on someone who can’t look him in the eye when you cross paths on the train. But it’s you.

Something about you makes you special to him. It’s the very same thing that makes him weak too. Even if it’s only at distance. He doesn’t want that distance. He wants you. But he’ll settle for less. He will until his very last breath. Because if he can’t have you, then all he desires is for you to think upon him fondly. To not see him as the monster he truly is behind all these lies and sugar-coated words. It’s all he wants. All he needs.

“I’m…I’m not scared of you, Akechi-san.” You don’t even chance a look at him, and it practically nearly destroys him. “I’m…I’m not…”

He fights the urge to slam his fist down in frustration when you start to trail off. You do that to him. He doesn’t know how but you break him down. Test his composure. All by being scared. Not a challenge, not a tease but afraid. And it was something he couldn’t stand.  Your fear of him was the whole reason why he wanted to meet in public in the first place. It’s why he allowed you to choose Leblanc on a day he knew Akira could come back at any moment and interrupt. It’s why he minds his tone- the bitterness of his bite- when he’s in public in case you’re watching. He’d move mountains for you if you asked. He’d move mountains if you even looked at him. He just wanted to know why.

Why you said what you said all those days ago…

“His smile…” He heard you whisper to Akira on the day the two of you were formally introduced after he began to walk off in another direction. He pretended not to hear, but naturally, he was interested in what such a pretty girl had to get off her chest so quickly. Especially a girl he had already become so smitten with. “...it doesn’t look like a real smile.”

If he wasn’t so good at what he does, he would have lost himself.

That’s why there was never a falter or fumble in his steps as he steeled his attention forwards and continued to walk on, even as he listened to Akira shush you that day. It was like you saw through him. In the short time, the two of you were face to face, you saw him. The real man behind the princely facade. But you were just one girl. One fleeting, passing moment. He would forget over you, and he would move on. But he didn’t. And neither did you.

“You know I would never hurt you, right?” He can’t help but ask when you become quiet and unresponsive. Still, you advert your attention to the cup of hot chocolate in your hands that you’ve barely touched. “As someone who works closely with the police force, I want you to feel like you can always come to me if you’re ever in need. I will  never  hurt you.”

It comes to no surprise when you practically shrink back at his words, but he doesn’t fault himself for laying it on so heavily. The act doesn’t fool you. It never has, no matter how much easier it would have made his life. That’s why he has to bring his honesty. His intensity. If blunt words and harsh words can’t convince you that all he wants is for someone like you to be protected in such a messed up society then there’s no hope for him.

From the corner of his eye, he can spot Sojiro looking over at him in obvious distrust. It’s becoming harder and harder to bite back a snarl in the older man’s direction- something he knew he would have never thought of doing if it wasn’t for you. It’s not fair to blame you for all his momentarily lapses in self-control. You bring out the worst in him. You really, really do.

And he’ll never hate you for it. In fact, he can’t help but adore you even more.

In all your brightness, you give him hope. Even from afar, he can see the genuine truth behind all your smiles. The unadulterated joy in all your laughter and it gives him a reason. A reason to keep going when the weight of the world comes crashing down on his shoulders. A reason to be a better man, even if he doesn’t take it. Because all that matters is that it’s there. All that matters is that you’re here.

Sure, you won’t look at him. You won’t believe him. You won’t want him either, but you have him. If not by your side, then in your life. If not close, then from a distance. Always in your corner of this very scary world for someone as perfect as you. For someone as soft as you. So maybe there is a chance for him yet. After all, you met with him today didn’t you? Note(s): Considering how the pillarmen are in JoJo's, I feel like any sort of relationship would be such a slow burn (and angsty considering what happens with Caesar) so I did my best to have some cute stuff for you!

Caesar

He is definitely on edge when he meets you at first. He already saw the other pillarmen and how they acted so he doesn't know what kind of trap you might have. Ends up being confused at how you ask him about the world he lives in and wants to know what changes there are from when you had been awake last.

Caesar still views things as a trap as he tries to figure out how to be polite with you but still staying on guard. Like hell he's going to fall for the trope of loving his enemy, especially if that's some messed up plan of the other pillarmen.

But he does slowly start to let you in. Especially when you introduce yourself to Joseph and Lisa Lisa as well. You let Joseph get a hamon hit off of you and while you do continue to defend yourself, you don't fight back and that makes him more open to accepting you.

Caesar doesn't even know how it starts to be less him explaining things that are new and foreign to you and him being a lot less platonic. He ends up asking why you want Caesar to explain life to you when you could ask Joseph or Lisa Lisa instead.

Does not know how to react when you bluntly state that you choose Caesar because you like him. He tries to laugh it off as a joke, but you don't seem to be joking and it's suddenly a lot that he needs to process and figure out.

You don't pressure him into anything though as you still ask him to explain different clothing or different foods that weren't around during your time. He can't help but find himself staring at your reactions and enjoying your time with him. He hardly realizes when he starts to smile with you.

I've finally managed to start reading Purple Haze Feedback recently and was hit with a flashback of how shitty Fugo was seen by some people in the fandom(at least people I was around at the time).

Like- yeah, it was kinda disappointing when he left the other instead of also going to go betray the boss, but shit I wouldn't wanna go either! He was still young and had a lot to live, i don't blame him for not wanting to go on a suicide mission!

Also, going in a more fanfic/yandere centered idea here, I always thought it would've been a lot funnier if more authors wrote the Reader also deciding not to join the gang to go defeat the boss instead of just following along

Bruno: We're going to betray the boos, so as soon as you enter this boat, you will be considered a traitor! I won't pressure or force any of you to do it, so enter at your own discretion!

Reader: Wow... that's a very difficult decision ...well, good luck to all of you!

Bruno: Yes ,thank- wait, you're not coming?

Reader, the moment they heard "betray the boss" leave Bruno's mouth:

Another idea that always comes to mind when talking about Fugo is the fact that at first, he was going to be a spy amd would betray the gang (If i remember it correctly).

I always thought it would be an interesting concept to have Reader working for Diavolo since the beginning (bonus points for angst if the gang ends up finding THAT out in the worst moment possible lol)

Reader, messaging Diavolo every few minutes to update him on the gang's behavior:

It’s a rather tall order to ask some sixteen year old teenager to casually betray the whole mafia and specifically the most powerful man on top who they have never met before. I’d like to think Fugo was thinking over every unknown they weren’t guaranteed to find out. Let alone if they even had a chance to even fight at all. I never personally blamed the dude for peacing out personally.

So being Yandere I could absolutely see him do just about everything to get you to hesitate to go with Bruno and the others. He’d bend over backwards to do so, especially if you were hesitant yourself. Like sure there’s a chance you and the others by some miracle could defeat the boss, but depending on how he utilizes his organization and stand users against you, it would get ugly real quick. He even insists it’s just not worth getting hurt/killed over.

It’s likely his selfish desire to keep you to himself talking but he won’t back down in trying to keep you there with him. I always felt like Fugo could make a very compelling argument too, it’s almost scary how convincing he’d likely be. (That’s if you were unsure which way to go, if you didn’t want to go with Bruno and the others I’m certain it’d be much easier for him to take advantage of)

Spy! Reader with a Yandere Diavolo would be fantastic, almost scary in a horror sense. As you can easily doom the gang with your extra intel and knowledge with hanging out with all of them. Not to mention any calls or eventually bumping into Doppio would lead to some very interesting interactions. I can already hear the “dearest y/n” at some point once you succeed on sabotaging the Bucciarati gang.

La Squadra’s Favorite Makeup Looks On You

This is just a fun idea that came to me! (Please excuse my poorly drawn bases 😖)

Risotto Nero

He doesn’t know much about makeup so he doesn’t have strong opinions.

He wants you to be happy so he’s perfectly fine with what you choose.

Though if he had to choose a favorite it would be something soft and natural that accentuates your features, especially your eyes. Brown eyeshadow, subtle liner, and eyebrow pencil are his favorite choices.

Prosciutto

Out of all of the members he is one of the most knowledgeable about fashion. He will gladly help you pick out an outfit if you are unsure of what to wear for an occasion.

He prefers looks that are elegant and classy.

He likes deeper more neutral colors for makeup because they look more mature.

Thus, the smokey eye with red lipstick is perfect in his opinion. It is a timeless classic that looks good with everything. Accompany it with lash extensions and contouring and you’re all set!

Pesci

Like Risotto, he doesn’t know a lot about cosmetics but is aware that makeup is an art form.

He always looks forward to seeing the different stylistic choices you make everyday. He loves it when you express yourself!

While he loves every thing you wear, he has a soft spot for simple and cute pastel shades. He thinks they compliment your skin wonderfully!

He prefers a more subtle look, so contouring isn’t all that necessary in his eyes.

Sparkles will make the look infinitely better!

Melone

We all know how eccentric he is, so he would love something unusual and eye catching!

Unsurprisingly, he has quite a bit of knowledge regarding cosmetics, despite not wearing them himself.

He definitely has tried some before though and knows how they work, so he loves doing your makeup!

Almost always goes for purples, blues, and pinks, and prefers unconventional mascara colors. He finds colorful lipstick extremely sexy as well. Don’t forget lots of glitter!

Ghiaccio

He knows nothing about makeup. He doesn’t understand why people make a huge fuss about it either. It’s pretty much just face paint!

Needless to say, he won’t shame you for wearing it or anything, but he likes you more in your natural state.

If he had to choose a look he liked, he would go for something like Risotto’s, but even simpler.

Very faint beige eye shadow, blush, light lipgloss, and some eyeliner. He would only like eyebrow pencil of your brows are light. His favorite is the mascara though, but he’d never admit it.

Formaggio

Bro doesn’t know how to put makeup on but has seen plenty of women wear it.

Before getting with you, he often hung out in bars and clubs and took several women home. Since then, he has fallen in love with flashy party makeup. He also just likes colorful things.

While he’s fine with any colors you choose, his favorite eyeshadow is blue— it’s got that somewhat tacky but classic party girl vibe.

He loves that with eyelash extensions and bright red lipstick. Party on!

Illuso

He will never admit it, but he thinks makeup is interesting. Hell, he’s even dabbled in it a few times and wasn’t all that bad at it.

Knowing how extravagant he is, he loves something glamorous. Nothing too flashy like Formaggio’s choice, but it should still be eye catching.

Deep sparkly purples do the trick for him. Bold eyebrows are a must. That, with long eyelash extensions and contouring has him swooning. Don’t forget deep kissable lipstick!
