I can imagine how powerless Sergio must’ve felt when he thought he lost Raquel forever. He’s always in control, trying not to show his feelings too much or he can get hurt by every little reason. Raquel makes him stronger, but also, weaker, they both have influence on each other and that’s exactly what makes them special. Not the chemistry, not the sex, not even the emotions that sorrounds them constantly. They’re both people used to have control over everything in their own way. Raquel is the most empowered about herself, and Sergio is sensitive, but perceptive, and the idea of losing each other just makes them lose themselves as well.

Characters: Valerio, Lucrecia
Summary: Post 3 season. Lucrecia goes to NY, Valerio is in charge of las bodegas in Madrid. Absence is to love what wind is to fire; it extinguishes the small, it inflames the great.

So just a little note on Elite season 3: I liked the storyline of most of the characters, but I’m soooo fed up with Valu in season 3 and I need to vent. If you haven’t seen the season yet, then please don’t scroll down and go to Netflix instead. If you have seen it, then do tell me what you think about this!
Alright, so Lu has some of the most amazing character development in this season, befriending everyone and and also confessing to being in love with Val (‘love is not a crime’ and the looks she gave him, i mean) instead of making it seem like she used him to stay in favour with her family. Meanwhile Val spends the season selling drugs, looking miserable and getting into a weird threesome that honestly makes NO sense. I kind of felt like he did that just because he feels he has no place anywhere and is unloved - which makes sense, because that is EXACTLY how Lu feels after her confession to daddy dearest. So it would have been logical if, knowing that they both love each other and feel unloved, they end up together. AND YET they hardly speak two words with each other. Why? Because of the puta società we live in, probably, where anyone who’s not HBO uses taboo themes just to shake up the audience a little bit but is too afraid to see it to its proper end. This is not even about the taboo as much as it’s about lu and Val being a perfect fit and deserving of happiness (even crooked happiness borne out of an ff-ed up family) like every other character on the show. I get that they were both looking for their own thing throughout the season and it’s understandable that they spent some time apart, but to just ghost the entire relationship... it makes no sense in terms of narrative, plus it’s a pure waste of the awesome chemistry between Danna and Jorge. Gosh and they said Game of Thrones had a terrible ending...
