“oh max is more redeemable than grace”
“uh no, grace was a product of her upbringing max is an asshole”
hey uhhh maybe they’re both bad people and both can still be redeemed?

The thing about starting a podcast that's still ongoing is that even if I don't know spoilers...I know spoilers?
So hearing the reveal at the end of episode 12 was less shock factor and more just me sighing and going "John you whore :/"

anyways. the "hell" in BFDI is not actually hell but rather an afterlife which resembles hell in looks. the only people who went there were people who died in trash compactors in the charades challenge, and nickel suggets that because they died in a similar manner they were sent to this afterlife. that implies that afterlives seem to be based on how you die, and this is the "crushed in a trash compactor in the charades challenge" afterlife.

i cannot stop thinking about if max jagerman didn’t die
like. Imagine him slowly actually warming up to the group of nerds, especially Richie as Peter is now all wrapped up with Steph and Ruth is almost as obsessed with Steph as Peter is. Soon enough Max genuinely befriends Richie and to Jagerman if feels like it’s the first real friend he’s ever had. The football guys are all too scared of him to be deep with Max yknow ??
Everything is great, except Grace Chasity isn’t done yet. She still is having sexual thoughts. All that night did was make her more and more obsessed with the thought of having Max Jagerman and that’s ungodly. So she takes it into her own hands because the nerds can’t help her this time.
She finds the black book and vows to destroy each and every one of her nerdy “friends” because they’re the bad influences. Max is finally going to get a taste of real friendship and love and become a better person right before Grace strikes him down.
