Such a perfectly flamboyant image of a night out on the town in the Roaring '20s would never have you believe this is a stock poster for the Cherubin Palast printed with blank space for text at the bottom – in this case, filled in with an announcement for the Red and Black Ball of February 1928. The deep red field of the poster appears textured, much like the 1910s-era style of Hohlwein.
