Judging how far you downtune your guitar:

D# - You only play in standard and one song required this tuning.

D - You just found out what a drop tuning is.

C# - You only play in Drop D and one song required this tuning.

C - You want to be heavy.

B - You want to be heavier.

A# - You mostly play in B but one song required this tuning.

A - You want to be edgy. Also you just got your first baritone.

G# - Just get a 7-string.

G - You want to rip off Periphery.

F# - You think this is the heaviest tuning ever.

F - You want to rip off Meshuggah.

E - You just got your first 8-string.

D#1 - You found out downtuning an 8-string is possible.

D1 - DADGCFAD is your favorite tuning.

C#1 - You listened to Hell Below by Periphery once.

C1 - You listen to thall.

B0 - You just got your first 9-string.

A#0 - You want to make thall.
