WIP (And by WIP, I mean I just started most of these!)

The Lovely @ejunkiet and @starlitangels tagged me to share my WIP! However, I've been really busy and my brain has been scattered, so I don't have a proper snippet to share.

I do however have fragments of each WIP that I can share, so here are some of my favourite quotes/lines from each WIP I'm working on (in order for release too)!

Four Times David Thought of Asking + The One Time Angel Did

Darlin, thinking to themself: maybe I should stop getting into fights and worrying Sam

Darlin, getting onto their motorbike and revving the engine: no <3

Sam (points to Darlin): that one. Yours?

David (points to Angel as they both shove Babe into the pool): the other one.

Sam (sighing):

David: *nods*

(Tired dads taking care of their child of a partner 🤝)

Milo, after the inversion: could you please try to see things from my perspective?

Asher: sits on the floor

Angel: *buys coffee for everyone at the morning meeting*

Darlin, taking the entire tray: thanks

Darlin, two minutes later, eyes wild, to Angel: do you know where the nearest Starbucks is?

Sam: let’s play a game where you tell a person some important things they deserve to hear

Sam: Darlin, you’re up first

Sam: you’re valid and your story deserved to be heard

David: you need to eat at least 3 meals a day, and if you want, come over to my house and I can fix you a meal or two

Milo: if you ever need company, my door is always open and Aggro will love you

Asher: if you ever need someone to run with in the woods to let off steam just call me up

Sweetheart: if you ever want to hang out we can go out and prank somebody

Babe: if you need help with work I can help you sort out documents and plans

Angel: and if you ever want fresh coffee and cuddles I’m a phone call away

Darlin, crying: stop it

Babe, coming home at 6:30pm to the house smelling really good: Ash! Did you make dinner?

Asher: yeah! I’m in the kitchen, I’ll be out in the bit.

Babe: wait, you really cooked?

Asher: totally!

David, yelling: no he didn’t, he called me at 6 and asked me to come over to help him cook Lasagna

Asher: DAVID COME ON

Aggro: *meows back*

Sweetheart: *meows at the same time*

Milo: *meows again*

Sweetheart: *meows back*

Aggro: ?

Milo: *meow*

Milo: Aggro? You want dinner?

*Cue sweetheart loosing it from the study*

Milo: WAS I MEOWING AT YOU THE WHOLE TIME OH MY GOD

Shaw Pack Polycule + Darlin’ and Sam HCs

Darlin seems to be the one character in Redactedverse who is shipped with everyone, and so Sam will be dragged along too

David, Asher, Milo, Angel, Babe, and Sweetheart were already in an established relationship

The wolf boys all know Tank since they were kids and probably roughhoused very often so trying to include them into the polycule would be very easy

Not so easy. Tank hates loves David’s guts to bits and probably wouldn’t be so easy to convince

And going by @dolls-circus and @emmettdrables’s (@emafterdark) thread of Milo x David x Kingpin!Tank, Milo was the one who kinda tripped and landed on his face for Darlin’ first.

Literally, probably, and that’s how he realized he had feelings for this long lost childhood friend they shared

Tripped and fell while rushing down a hallway to deliver some files to David’s office right as Darlin was passing by

Darlin snorted and helped him up, laughed a little

Milo almost fell again hearing them laugh after such a long time— it was a nice sound kind of like wind chimes and a running river

Throughout his whole meeting with David he could NOT focus and when his boyfriend snapped him out of it with a forehead kiss he KNEW he spaced out and had to tell

So he did, and frankly David was not shocked—and so he asked whether he wanted to add Darlin into their polycule

David hadn’t realized it but throughout his childhood Darlin was always there with him either playing or just hanging out

Also he’d grown fond of the latter seeing them and Angel get along so well (they’re gaming besties your honour, Darlin kills Minecraft Zombies for fun)

They both wanted to include them, sort of, but they had to do a sit down first with the others so talk about it

Ash and Darlin got along the best together in their childhoods. They gamed, fought, went camping and probably when they were older, friends with benefits for a while before they ran into Quinn and ripped him a new one

So getting Ash to agree would probably be pretty easy

There was also the thing—Darlin and Sam had just gotten together not long ago and didn’t want to force anything
