The beautiful photos from Noel’s “Alice in Wonderland” birthday yesterday remind me of a quote from Junkee magazine in 2015.
Noel: “It might be that The Boosh is about friendship. It’s about its own little world. It’s quite timeless — other than some musical styles we were parodying or a few references. Maybe it was quite Alice in Wonderland-like. It was our own little world; our own little magical stories.”

At his exhibition opening in August in Sydney, Dave revealed a surprising fact about the Moon and a connection to Howard!
Dave: “The Moon was originally me. The Moon was originally a joke in Auto Boosh. Vince is asking Howard why he’s called “Howard Moon” and he said that his Mum once went up on a hill and fell asleep under a full moon and when she woke up she was pregnant. And then he goes quiet and Vince said “What, the Moon had your mum up?” And later on in the show, he’s driving down the road and I, dressed as the Moon, with my face a big massive papier mache moon, pop out from behind the curtain and go “I had your mama!”(As Howard) “Shut up, Moon!”
