Mireya Moto Quinlan is the second member of the Roppongi Division rap battle team, Private Party. She is known by her rap moniker, Gypsy. A former dancer and stripper known for working in just one of the many bars in Sin City, this was just a stepping-stone on the way to fulfilling this spicy and determined young woman's true ambitions. After working and building up her career, she's now determined to prove that her self-owned nightclub/casino is the best, not only in Roppongi, but in all of Japan.

Mireya, much like her husband, is a woman of many origins, mainly Japanese and Hispanic. She has tannish skin, which she attributes to her black background. A well-known mercenary who has made a name for herself in the underworld as someone who can get the job done, this determined young woman accepted the job offer from the Puerto Rican government for two reasons. One, to establish contacts within Japan. And two, to uncover clues as to what happened to her younger brother.

Personality

Ivelisse, to say the least, is a very focused woman who considers herself to be disciplined and centered in her beliefs. Though she does not consider herself a religious person, she is in tune with her spiritual side. She tries to maintain a calm, relaxed, and subdued state of mind, believing that having anything else is the surest way of losing control of herself and her center of being. She tries to spread this through her yoga lessons in hopes that others can achieve their inner peace, as well.

Despite that, Ivelisse does have her share of demons. After almost losing her brother to gang violence when they were both teens and then losing him again when he ran away, she has blamed herself as his older sibling for not doing a better job of protecting him. She also blames herself for not stopping him when he fled in the first place. To that end, she holds onto the belief that he is still alive somewhere and vows to find and bring him back home.

It's for this reason this that she became a mercenary, believing that before she could rescue her brother, she needed to better herself by understanding more of the world. After visiting India and becoming enamored with their beliefs and cultures, she now tries to settle all problems by talking and discussing rather than with violence. However, should the need call for it, she is not afraid to defend herself or her friends if she has too.

Aside from that, Ivelisse is a meek, calm, and respectable woman and can be seen as the moral compass for the Arakawa Division team, trying to keep both of her teammates on one accord. She trusts her teammates and their abilities completely, having faith that together, the three of them can put a stop to whatever Chuohku is planning.

Although she does study Buddhism, she still actively prays to God. She considers herself to be a "Christian Buddhist."

Despite being a foreigner, she is quite popular with the citizens of Japan because of her skill at yoga.

Because her work requires her to travel to different countries, she is fluent in multiple languages.

She abhors looking at the scar on her arm, because it represents how weak she used to be.

Raiden Otoha(音羽雷電),  a.k.a. Tesla on rap battles is an electronics design engineer and the 2nd member of Chiyoda Division’s 狂音INC.. He’s a genius in the field of electronics, aspiring to one day be called a ‘mad scientist’ just like those he idolized so much since he was little. A former delinquent, Fusao saw potential in his brilliance and scouted him to work at his audio equipment company, Wonder⇓anD Sound Systems.

It’s believed that he joined the DRB not only to let people further know about his ‘genius’ but also to enact revenge against a certain priest from Ginza.

Appearance

Raiden is an albeit taller than average man in his mid-late 20s. His beige skin is littered with countless burn marks, most notably one on his right eye and at the palms of his hands. He has shoulder-length, black hair with blonde inner colouring dyed in to match his golden eyes, whose pupils grow abnormally large whenever he gets excited; sometimes, his bangs are held back by a yellow clip in the shape of a wing. He has two beauty marks under his left eye.

At work, Raiden is usually seen with a white button up, a black tie, black pants and brown dress shoes. His shirt is partially unbuttoned as to reveal the tattoo on his neck: an ECG graph.

Raiden’s Hypnosis Microphone takes the form of a handheld mic, the band right between the windscreen and the handle has 2 prongs on opposite sides. The handle is black with a yellow triangle containing the letter T stylized to look like thunder on it, lastly, the bottom of the handle has a yellow lightning bolt sticking out.

Raiden’s speakers is a replica of the Wardenclyffe Tower, the lab building that accompanies the tower has all of its windows replaced with speakers. Lightning strikes the top of the tower depending on the beat. Whenever he activates his mic, a ‘high voltage’ warning written in white with a red glow flash around his speaker which disappears after a couple moments.

Raiden’s rap ability, Death Ray 936 electrocutes his target, stunning them for 3 turns, he can only use his ability for 3 times in one battle and the cooldown is loooooong.

Raiden’s rap themes mainly revolve around the mix of ‘lunacy’ and ‘genius’ and sinking further into madness. He references breakthroughs in the history of electromagnetism a lot; he also raps about how there’s one absolute truth: physics and that there is no higher being besides that. Another thing he raps about is refusing ‘adulthood’ not in the sense of growing older, but rather letting go of one’s dreams and aspirations just for pleasing the world around them and becoming a husk of yourself.

If it’s not his turn to rap he’ll most likely laugh like a maniac in the background.

Nishio Tokishou(時傷二四懊), aka 24:00 on rap battles, is a shopkeeper and the leader of the rap group Clockwork Lament representing the Echizen division. He runs The Rusty Rose, a watch shop and antiques store in Echizen which he inherited from his late father.

Another thing he raps about is love, wanting it and doing anything to have and kee— and then immediately take it back and switch to rapping about how people have messed up perceptions to love, how people approach love in unrealistic ways and how we should change that.

Personality

Generally, Nishio is a soft-spoken and warm person, he is super friendly to everyone especially to those that happen to step into his shop and depending on his mood, he might start flirting with whoever catches his eye. He may be warm to everyone around him, but he has a hard time trusting people past his family and teammates and rarely truly opens up to others.

If there’s something he truly looks down on, it’s love, or rather… how people think of love. Seiji Tsukimoto, also known as Avenger in rap battles, is the chief of police for the Niigata Police Department and is well known for having no fear even in the face of adversity. Personality

A flamboyant and open kind of person, Yorii gives the impression of being cheerful, flashy, and childish due to his mannerisms. Unlike his older siblings, he is not easily depressed or sullen, preferring to enjoy life to the fullest. He is also tremendously cheery, possessing a bubbly demeanor. Both Mina and Elliot have found it difficult to be upset or sad when their younger sibling is around since his natural charisma makes all smile in his presence.

Only after they apologize or have been taught a lesson does Yorii revert to his friendly, normal persona.

Like his siblings, Yorii also stresses about the fact that most of his life is shrouded in mystery and shadow. He doesn't know much about himself, save for the fact that he has encountered a number of individuals who look strangely like him, and he doesn't know why. Every time he tries to find out more, something in the back of his mind always pulls him back, as if warning him that these questions he wants to be answered will only bring him pain and misery, which only makes him want to find out more.

Aside from that, Yorii is a normal, young man. He shot to fame only a year ago when he somehow or other burst onto the music scene. Since then, he has become a local celebrity due to his beautiful voice and looks. Though he enjoys singing and making music, he often wonders how he got so good. Was he blessed with a good voice? Or did someone give it to him... artificially? And if they did, would that explain the scar on the front of his neck which he tries his best to hide? Who can say...

Kotan Anchikar is the leader of the Hakodate rap battle team, Kuma no ie. He is known by his MC name, Kamuy. The newly-appointed chieftain of the Ainu people after his father sadly passed, this young man has very large shoes to fill as he tries to lead his people the right way in a world that is ever-changing. With Chuohku exerting their influence over all parts of Japan, can he and his tribe continue to maintain their way of life in this constantly shifting landscape?

As a member of the Ainu people of Hokkaido, Kotan has sunbaked skin, which is ironic considering his people thrive in cold climates. He has black eyes that are very keen and perceptive. Underneath his eyes are red lines that symbolize his heritage. He has black hair that is tied in a short ponytail that goes down past his neck, stopping at the top of his back. He doesn't have noticeable muscles but is in shape due to his lifestyle.

If he and his team haven't won the battle by then, he is automatically eliminated.

Kotan's rap themes are centered around the Ainu people and his way of life. He often raps about how the world is evolving or changing too quickly and that people need to slow down and enjoy life as it comes. He also raps about the struggles and rewards of responsibility, and about his love for his family and friends.

Personality

A humble and somewhat soft-spoken young man, Kotan is not exactly what one would expect as the chieftain of his tribe. He often appears to be meek, innocent, kind, moderate, and nice in contrast to many other people in Japan. A pacifist by nature, he dislikes violence and arguments, often seeking other methods of trying to resolve a conflict. His father, who was a skilled talker, always instructed him to never resort to violence, unless it is a last and final resort. And maybe not even then.

That's not to say that Kotan will not defend himself or his people if needed. Despite disliking violence or arguments, he will gladly fight to protect his home, his family, his tribe, and his way of life. He does not suffer insults or being mocked gladly, and won't stand by while someone degrades him or his people. He also will not tolerate poachers preying on the animals. If they are hunting for food, then that is one thing. But he won't tolerate or forgive people who kill animals for sport or, worse yet, for fun. However, he will not reciprocate and kill them as it is his principle to never take a human life.

As stated, Kotan deeply respects the Ainu culture. The Ainu revere nature and consider animals godlike beings kamuy, so he always honors his prey and everything he uses as gifts from the kamuy. Because of his love for people's way of life, he often struggles with new-world ideas or things that conflict with the Ainu way of life. However, he knows that the world is constantly changing and evolving, and he is not so foolish as to believe that he and his people will outlive the rest of the world. This makes sticking to his ways all the more difficult. He often wishes there was a way for him to preserve his people's independence and a way to ensure that the Ainu will never be forgotten or erased.

As the current chieftain of his tribe, Kotan often feels the pressures of his position. Though he is dedicated to leading his people, he often suffers from self-doubt and stress due to his bad habit of trying to handle everything by himself, or by trying to appear fine when he really isn't. He wants to be a great leader like his father and often finds himself comparing himself to the former chieftain, which only helps to stress him more. It often takes his grandmother lecturing and chastising him to bring him back to his senses. She frequently chides him to 'stop being someone that he is not, and just be himself.'

Though he often appears cold and withdrawn, around those he is comfortable with, Kotan is very jovial. He loves his younger sisters very much but wishes they wouldn't tease him so much. And he always looks to his grandmother for some sort of wisdom or guidance. He is good friends with his family friend, Ted Bridges, and has a good relationship with Kokomi, who taught him how to ski, which helps him with hunting. Though he is cautious around outsiders, after warming up to them, he is a good friend to have.

Introduction

Akihisa Mashiro, also known as Azrael in rap battles, is currently an inmate on death row in Katsushika. A man of few words and even fewer facial expressions, Akihisa was a hitman who the former government often hired during the war. However, their betrayal led to his capture by Chuohku who sentenced him to death for his crimes. Recently he was given a deal by Chuohku to get off death row.

Akihisa is an extremely tall man with a well-built muscular figure. Wrinkles mar his face, particularly underneath his eyes and cheeks. He has shoulder-length sandy blond hair tied into a low ponytail with his bangs swept into a side part. He has sangria red eyes that often make people believe he's staring into their souls.

Akihisa’s rap centers on how he is a monster chained up and how he has now been released from those restraints even if temporarily. He raps about how many lives he's taken and how his opponents are nothing more than just another soul for him to reap. He also makes reference to the fact that he and his team have a noose around their necks and how he’ll make sure that their fates don't come to pass.

Personality

Described as a difficult-to-understand individual who refuses to open his heart to anyone with few exceptions. Akihisa is a serious and stoic individual who rarely speaks more than is necessary preferring actions over words and is often described as someone who never wastes words. When he does speak it tends to be very blunt, even insulting, and is not above belittling those who irritate him. His emotionless persona, coupled with his reputation, makes him come across as cruel and heartless to others.

His cold demeanor allows him to stay completely calm and in control in most situations, and he is not easily surprised or caught off-guard. Despite this, once angered or taken by vengeance, he will stop at nothing until he sees the object of his anger broken at his feet. 

Even with his cold exterior, Akihisa is a different person around people he’s comfortable with. He makes jokes and acts far more sarcastically. Eiji Noguchi is the second member of the Ginza Division rap battle team, Last Judgment. He is often called by his MC name, MC Mogul. A self-made billionaire and tycoon, Eiji is the creator, CEO, and president of the popular social media platform, PROFILE, and its parent company, Sigma Incorporated. By taking over the Internet and transforming social interaction, there is little to nothing now that can stop this wealthy businessman from seeking to spread his influence not only across all of Japan, but also across the entire known world.

Eiji is a man in his late 30s, though, by the lines on his face, he may seem to be a bit older. He is in shape, despite not having any noticeable muscles and being very slim. Fumio is a slightly tall young man with pale skin and a petite build, being rather scrawny compared to his more athletic teammates. There’s a permanent pink blush on his cheeks at all times. His blonde hair reaches a little bit past his neck, and there’s a few blue streaks in there; it’s usually covering one of his green eyes. On his right ear is a pearl earring with a light purple clamshell attached to it.

Fumios head is usually covered by the beige garden hat that he wears. He’s normally wearing a light yellow rolled-up sweater and green overalls, with dark blue tennis shoes. His gardening gloves are a light green too.

Personality

Fumio is a bashful, shy man who usually keeps to himself, quietly minding his own business. When interacting with others, he’s very polite though a bit awkward. He’s often the voice of reason to his more outgoing teammates, constantly needing to apologize for whatever trouble they’re causing. Fumio’s a “cute brother figure” according to others.

To say Fumio is cowardly would be an understatement; he is jumpy about everything—Fumio flinches when he sees something even slightly move. He gets scared so easily that it’s actually become concerning instead of funny. Luckily, in times of actual danger he pushes himself to be more brave!

Fumio is quite uncomfortable around older women though; specifically the ones that are rather motherly, as they remind him of his own mom. That’s not a good thing. Introduction

Kira Chinen is the second member of the Ōta Division rap battle team, Birds of Prey. She is also known by her rap name, Huntress. A former major-turned-investigator, this headstrong woman has found it hard to adjust to normal life after she was honorably discharged from the army. Now a Chuohku official, she seeks to use her position to uncover the truth behind her mother's strange disappearance many years ago.

Kira, much like her older sister, is an attractive woman in her mid-to-late 20s. She is taller and heavier than both her sisters due to her time in the army. She has a noticeable chest but often binds it so it isn't in the way of her work. She has jet-black hair that goes down past her neck. She has golden eyes that often have a look of determination in them.

Despite being a Chuohku official, Kira does not wear their uniform and instead dresses like an investigator on the police force. She wears white gloves on both of her hands and a pair of black dress socks with matching-colored dress shoes. Personality

Kira, despite being the middle child, is perhaps the most disciplined and orderly one of the three sisters. A former major in the JSDF, this young woman constantly seeks to make plans and time schedules in everything that she does. She dislikes improvisation or 'playing things by the ear'. She values knowing everything there is to know before she makes a move, and likes to consider the pros and cons of each action she takes. Needless to say, she often irritates those around her with her constant need for perfection.

That said, however, while Kira values order and discipline, she equally dislikes new ways of doing things. She likes to stick to either the old way or her way of doing things, believing that no other way will work as well. She lives by the quote, 'If it isn't broke, don't fix it.' She can come across as a prude or extremely conservative because of this. That said, she's not one to show insubordination, no matter how much she disagrees with the plan in place.

Despite this, Kira is a good sister to both her older and younger ones. She sometimes likes to join Thalia in teasing Chinami, yet can just as easily switch sides and back Chinami up whenever she is bickering with the youngest sibling. She loves both of them equally despite their strengths and flaws. What neither of them knows is that Kira blames herself for failing to protect either of them from their abusive father when they were all young. Ever since, she's sworn she'd never let anything happen to any of her family, no matter what.

It's for this reason that she decided to become a police officer, as she hoped that by putting crime down and working with others, she may be able to find clues as to what happened to her mother, who mysteriously disappeared when she was young.

As an investigator, Kira takes her job seriously. When told she was being promoted, the former Major almost refused because she hated the thought of sitting behind a desk, writing up crime reports when she could have been out on the streets preventing the crime from happening. In her words, 'Being an investigator is all about dealing with a crime after it happened. At least as a cop, I had the means to stop it.' Her coworkers often tell her that her work is important to prevent the crime from happening again, and though she knows they are right, she still doesn't like it.

Still, Kira takes her job seriously and does all she can to be good at it. It was her hard work ethic and determination that caused her to be approached by the Deputy Prime Minister, Ichijiku Kadenkoji, who offered her the position of Vice Chief of Chuohku's Administrative Inspection Bureau, after the former head (Hitaki Tsumabira) was arrested. Though she has no liking for Chuohku, Kira, nonetheless, accepted the position and has proved to be far better at her job than Hitaki ever was.

She is the only one of the Chinen sisters that smokes. It's a habit she picked up while in the army. Her favorite brand of cigarettes is Marlboro Black 100s.

Her MC name is the nickname her friends at the police force gave her because even after others had given up on a case, she stayed diligent and continued hunting for clues and suspects, even when there were none to be found. Her friend mentioned she resembled something of a 'hunter' in the forest.

Alexis "Lexi" Ward is the leader of the Arakawa Division rap battle team, Sounds of Silence. She is known far and wide by her moniker, Agent 355. An operative from America, and one of the best members to don their uniform, Alexis takes her position as an agent for the Agency very seriously. And with the influence and threat of Chuohku steadily growing larger and larger by the day, she was personally chosen by the director of her team to stem their threat before it grows too large to control.

Alexis is a beautiful American woman with short red hair that goes past her neck and bangs that sometimes fall into her light-brown eyes. She stands at six feet and weighs 147 lb. She has a C-sized chest, long hips, and a somewhat slim waist.

Chiyuri is a pale man of average height in his early 20s. He has long, curly black hair fading to periwinkle and bright blue streaks tied to a ponytail. His eyes are of a bright blue color and they glow in the dark.

Chiyuri’s Hypnosis Mic takes the form of a wooden puppet, the puppet is made of oak wood, it has dot eyes painted on, a mop of blue hair, it wears a white shirt, blue suspender shorts and wine red doll shoes, lastly, it wears a beret on its head which acts as the mic’s windscreen. The puppet has strings tied to all of Chiyuri’s fingers.

Chiyuri’s speakers take the form of a woman halfway coming out from a mirror significantly larger than Chiyuri himself. At work, Chiyuri is a very polite person and follows rules down to the word, he is hard working and doesn’t have trouble with extra workload from time to time.

Outside of work however, it turns out that he’s quite naive, he still has a lot to learn about the world around him; if he gets curious of something, he’ll run to it without thinking of anything else.
