Aoba Yamamura

"The second of Nellie-san's sons, if I'm not mistaken. I must admit, when I saw that he and Eden from Hamamatsu shared the same last name, I thought it was merely a coincidence. For one thing, the two of them couldn't be any more different personality-wise. Eden, from what I've observed, seems to revel in being surrounded by people, while Aoba prefers to be by himself, most of the time. I guess this coincides with their professions; Eden is a performer, while Aoba is a librarian. I wonder how Nellie-san is able to raise the two of them as a father. But I suppose parents must be used to differing personalities when it comes to their children."

"...Speaking of fathers, this may just be my imagination, but... I can't help but feel that Aoba reminds me of someone. But when I served in the army, and even now during my time as a CIA agent, I heard about an infamous bomber who was feared, both among the enemy and his own allies. His epithet was... "The Blue Wolf", I believe. ...I may be wrong, but... I see a lot of similarities between that man and Aoba."

"Nobody is sure what happened to the Blue Wolf after the war. After a particular conflict, he just... disappeared. Nobody knows what became of him. ...As I stated, I see a lot of similarities between the two. It may just be a coincidence, but... something tells me I'll need to keep a close eye on this young man..."

Kunio "Kurome" Chōten

"The first thing that struck out to me about this young man was his surname. 'Chōten', if I'm not mistaken, is the name of a rich, noble family situated in Aoyama. Plus, I believe there was another young man in this tournament with a surname just like him. ...Is it possible that the two are siblings? If so, then I have to wonder why the two of them are on opposing teams? Besides that, I don't see anything untoward about this young man."

Natsume Kurome

"The last member of this team. He seems to be a painter, but Ivelisse tells me he also runs a shop for mystical items and such. I have no knowledge or real interest in that sort of thing. Aside from that, he seems to share the same surname as the previous member, Kunio, meaning the two of them must be married. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Like his husband, I've nothing untoward to say about him."

Strange Magic

"A team of... peculiar individuals, particularly Aoba. I'm not sure what their reasonings for entering the D.R.B. are, but... for some reason, I get the same feeling that I got from Eden in Hamamatsu with them. I don't want to think that these three are up to something, but... if it is something that could threaten either my mission or the safety of Japan, then... perhaps I should talk to one of them to figure out what their endgame is..."

"I remember this cute little doll. Ivelisse said he works as a librarian, so I initially had no real interest in him. That was until I saw him at a photoshoot. I had to admit, he had an interesting... look about him. Despite being a male, you'd never think it with how he looks in dresses and tight-fitting clothes. I told him he looked quite good, which he thanked me for. I also told him he was free to come to my jewelry shop when he wasn't busy. He brought several of my pieces. He's got a good eye."

"However, I know there's more to him than just meets the eye. Aside from his job as a librarian and a model, I know there's something deeper and darker about him. I'll have to ask the Triad to look up some information on him."

Kunio "Kurome" Chōten

"Like Alexis mentioned, the first thing that caught my attention about this young man was his last name. Chōten is quite a popular name around Asia. Even in China, we've heard of his family. They're one of the richest, if not the richest people in Japan today. ...But I hadn't expected to see a member of the family out performing magic tricks in the middle of the street. Still, it was important to make contact with him, so I decided to play with him a bit. It was nothing serious, of course. But I made sure to leave an impression on him. He's not my primary target, anyhow. But as I said, making contact with a member of the Chōten family is important."

"Why? Well... you know the old saying, "Loose lips sink ships.""

Natsume Kurome

"And here we have the young Chōten boy's spouse. I have to admit, seeing the look on his face when I was flirting with his husband... ha. It was priceless. I've grown customed to such looks in my time. You've no idea how many missions I've had to do that involved flirting with a man, usually in the company of another woman. It's always funny to see the looks of jealousy on their faces. Seeing the looks on their faces, knowing that their partner is talking up another woman right in front of them. It always makes me laugh imagining the talks that happen when I leave."

"Three individuals posing as ordinary people. I wonder if they are aware of just how much they are spoken of in the underground? Rumors about all three of these men swirl that they are planning some sort of... revolution. And it involves something called a... 'phantometal'. ...I'll admit, I've never heard of this before, but if its something that could prove detrimental to my mission then I'd better find out as much as I can. ...Now, the only questions are: how do I obtain more information, and once I do, should I report to the Triad and let them handle it, or do I inform Alexis and hope she can pull something off with her American government? Decisions, decisions..."

"I met Aoba-san when I ventured into the library he works at. I was looking for books that had to do with meditation and Buddhism, and Aoba-san helped me to find and check some out. I can tell he is used to people staring at him because of the scar on his face, but I didn't bear any attention to it. And if I did, I tried not to be so obvious about it. I'm sure he has plenty of people asking him questions about his appearance, and I did not wish to be one of them."

"...But, I did notice some scars on his arms, and I couldn't help but take a glance at them. Mainly because I know that only people who have been through trauma would have scars on their arms, especially if... they were self-inflicting..." Ivelisse looks at her left arm and feels the self-harm scar on it, closing her eyes in thought.

Kunio "Kurome" Chōten

"I believe I met Kunio-san once when I was visiting his spouse's store once. He seemed to be a mild-mannered man, but I could tell something about him was... bothering him. I offered him and Natsume an invitation to join my yoga class. He hasn't responded, but I hope to see them both here someday."

Natsume Kurome

"I don't know what possessed me to visit Natsume-san's store. I think it was mainly out of curiosity. But even so, I don't regret walking into his shop. It was very interesting to see all the paintings and artifacts inside of it. I may have purchased a painting and an amulet or two before leaving. Something about them... they just stuck out to me. I was surprised when Natsume-san stated that most, if not all, of the paintings inside his shop were painted by him."

"Like I stated with Kunio-san, I extended an invitation to him and Natsume-san to join my yoga class if they were interested or had time. I hope to see them both in there someday."

"Like Alexis-san stated, this team is very peculiar. I'll admit, they all have some sort of... magical or otherworldly aura about them. I'm not sure how they obtained it, or what it even means. I can't really describe it. It feels... malevolent, while at the same time, it isn't. As I stated, I can't really describe it. I merely hope that whatever their plans are, they don't hurt themselves or others."

"A horse breeder... at first glance, anyway. After reading up on his file, I learned that this man used to be a black market dealer who dealt in illegal weapons, including illegal Hypnosis Microphones. Apparently, it was the enactment of the H-Era that put an end to his work and forced him to into hiding. ...I wonder if this is the reason for his involvement in the Division Rap Battle. Did Chuohku manage to find out about him? ...What am I saying? Of course they did. If I was able to locate this information, it's no doubt the government was able to. If he really wanted to hide his identity, he should have taken steps to changing more than just his appearance."

Daiki Kamiyama

"...Ha. Is it bad to say I see a lot of myself inside this young man? He reminds me much of myself when I was a child. I always used to pretend to be a super agent just like him. It was even worse when I found out my father was a CIA agent. It took actually becoming an agent for me to find out its nothing like what you hear in stories, on T.V., or on the radio. It's very different."

"Still, far be it for me to destroy this young boy's dreams. ...But I'll need to talk to him about following me everywhere when I do surveillance work. He may think he's sneaky and cunning, but he needs a lot of work. ...Maybe in my off time, I'll train him. ...Maybe."

"I believe this team only formed due to Hisoka's past, which the government is using as leverage to get him to participate. "I'm so proud of Alexis! I never thought she'd actually manage to snag herself a little fanboy! Usually, I'm the one that's popular with children. But I have no problem sharing the love now and then. I'm actually a bit surprised he's shown no interest in me. But then again, he is still just a child. Better to let him live in his imaginary world for a little bit longer."

"Aside from that, I did some digging up on him. Apparently, he's the last child of a famous and prestigious family from the UK. The Kamiyamas, if I'm not mistaken. His brothers have actually purchased some of my jewelry online, I think. Glad to see my work is attracting such a high clientele."

"Ah, Hisoka-san. I first met him when I ventured into Toyama to the Rikiya farm to buy some produce. He seemed kind, if a bit nervous and ill at ease. I offered him the chance to join my yoga class, feeling that it would him some good mentally. He, unfortunately, refused, however. Still, I didn't hold him it against him. I told him the offer was free should he ever change his mind."

Daiki Kamiyama

"Haha. I have to agree with Diệu-san. I'm surprised to see such a young boy taking such an interest in Alexis. Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course. I'm actually quite happy to see such a young child with such an active imagination. I just hope he takes care of himself. I hear he often does vigilante work at night. He should be careful. I don't think many evil-hearted people would take pity on him just because he is a child."

Jack Verrill

"Jack-san is a member of my yoga class, though he attends sporadically. When he isn't busy with his duties to young Daiki-kun, he is busy with other matters. Despite not attending often, he's actually quite good, especially when it comes to meditation. I once tried getting young Daiki-kun to join, but he just said 'yoga is boring'. I had to laugh because I attribute it to his youthfulness."

"This team is interesting, if a little unorthodox. From what Alexis and Diệu say, it seems the main centerpiece is Daiki-kun, since he hails from a rich, prestigious family. "Nellie-san. Possibly the only Japanese person I know who can call themselves a journalist. For one thing, he owns his own publishing house and publishes his own newspaper, which is shocking since not many people read newsprint much these days. I actually worked with him on a separate project when he hired me to take some pictures. It was a bit weird seeing my own work on paper, but... it wasn't bad. Nellie-san was polite enough. He had his eccentricities, but no more than anyone else. I look forward to working with him again."

Eden Yamamura

"When Nellie-san told me that this young man was his son, I was a bit surprised, but not very. From what I've researched, adoption is something that is fairly common in Asian countries, especially in Japan. On the person, himself, from what I know, he works as an underground idol, whatever that is. He seems 'okay', but I feel something... sinister about him. It's just a feeling, but... my instincts have rarely ever been wrong before..."

Kaede Iwasawa

"I think I may have seen this young man several times. Both in Diêu's jewelry shop, and in the building where Ivelisse does her yoga lessons. He's the only one from the team I don't know much about since I've never really talked or associated with him before. "Yukimura-san is a journalist, if I recall correctly. I believe Alexis-san worked with him on a project. Like my teammates mentioned, it's rare to see someone using newsprint to make news, but it is definitely not unwelcome. I mourn the day when books and paper become obsolete because using the Internet is more convenient or popular. Aside from that, I get the feeling that Yukimura-san is battling his own demons, much like we all are. I should ask him to join my meditation class. Hopefully that will help him."

"I've often spotted young Yamamura-san with Iwasawa-san in his dance studio. We first met when Iwasawa-san introduced us. He offered to make some henna tattoos for me. ...I'll be honest, I've often thought about getting some, but could never find the time. Perhaps with Yamamura-san's offering, I can finally have them done."

"Aside from that, Yamamura-san seems to have a good head on his shoulders, but... I sense something much darker inside of him that seems to bring about 'possessiveness'. I hope that he is able to quell that demonic spirit before it takes hold of him..."

"Iwasawa-san is the member of this team that I know the most and have a friendlier relationship with, not that his teammates aren't worthy of the same thing, of course. He and I know each other because my yoga studio and his dance studio are in the same building on opposite sides. He is quite good at his profession, and I could see someone like him being proficient at yoga. However, he declined stating that his body wouldn't be able to hold up. I understood, however, and did not broach the topic."

"...Still though, perhaps I can practice with him one-on-one and take it slowly. While yoga involves movement, the main purpose is to empty and cleanse your mind and soul. I'm sure Iwasawa-san could benefit from it."

"I do value this team, though I don't know what their purpose for the D.R.B. is. I only hope that they take care of themselves and do not take any unnecessary risks. ...Especially Iwasawa-san. While I don't doubt that he'll be fine, I hope he takes my advice and does a little yoga everyday, even if it's only a minute. Doing so will greatly help him going forward."

Alexis's Thoughts on Kanazawa Division

"I was introduced to Sasaki-san by Kyler. ...I have to say, I was a bit impressed by his stature and his poise. It's hard to believe that he's only four years older than me. I say that because... he reminds me much of my father. He was a stern, dedicated man who didn't hesitate to put his life on the line, no matter what anyone said, or what he may have been up against. I believe if given the opportunity to meet, he and my father may have been good friends, despite being in different professions."

"I've heard that despite Chuohku's anti-male policy, he is sometimes allowed into Chuohku to meet with the Prime Minister. In fact, I heard that he, himself, requested permission to join the Division Rap Battle. I don't know for what reason, but I hope he understands what he is getting himself into."

Kyler Aaron

Alexis looks at the photo of the FBI agent and gives a small chuckle. "Good to see you again, Mr. Aaron. You've certainly gotten a lot bigger since the last I've seen you. I have to admit, when President Douglas sent you to check in on his son, I was a bit worried. I knew you were good friends with his girlfriend, Evelyn Rose, but I also knew that you and Ace didn't have such a good relationship. Still, I know if there's someone who has to guard the president's son, there's no one better than you."

Joey Kurusu

"I'd like to say that this young man resembles my brother, but that would be inaccurate. While he did have his flights of fancy from time to time, this young man takes it to an entirely different level. ...Still, I think he and Gary would have gotten along well. What most people don't know is that Gary, though he kept it a deep-hidden secret, was a lover of... what is it called... oh yeah, anime. I've tried to get into it, but... I don't know, maybe I'm not watching the right kind."

"Oh, a police officer. How... quaint. I've unfortunately had to deal with many of his ilk, both in and out of the triad. Many of my fellow members are often annoyed at them. Me, I find them more amusing than anything. Why is that, you ask? Simple. Many of the police often become police officers because they believe they can 'make a difference'. They're quick to tote about 'serve and protect', and all that other nonsense. But funny how quickly they change their tune whenever money, sex, or their family get involved. They may have badge and a fancy uniform, but in the end, police are humans, just like the rest of us."

Kyler Aaron

"Ohh, an American? Quite handsome. Unfortunately, my dear captain warned me that he's 'off-limits', which is a shame. Still, she doesn't need to worry. I'm not looking for anything permanent right now. And even if I were, I'm sure I could do better than a guy wearing a uniform working for the police."

Joey Kurusu

"This character seems... interesting. Like his title is, 'homicide detective', but... he doesn't exactly fit one's image when they think of that, do they? ...But I suppose I shouldn't be so judgmental. After all, I'm far from a person's ideal image of an agent. Plus, Alexis says he joined to find out who murdered his younger sister. If that's so, then I guess I can give him the benefit of a doubt."

"So, a team of police officers? Hmm... I suppose I should be worried, but considering I'm just your average jewel designer, I suppose there's naught for me to worry about. Plus, from what I've observed from some of these other teams, I'm sure there are more dangerous individuals involved in this tournament than just me. Still... I suppose I should be cautious, even though that's boring. ...Meh, I'll just do what I always do and play it by the ear."
