Hello! May I request headcanons for Godot, Gumshoe, Larry and Phoenix with an s/o who likes to cook for them, please? Thank you very much, have a lovely day!

You sure can, pal, and please be sure to have a lovely day, yourself! Our boys get to eat!!! Larry and Phoenix are under the cut.

Godot.

It took a while into your romantic relationship for there to be enough trust there for him to actually eat or drink something you prepared for him.

Him eating your food is always a silent expression of his complete and utter trust in you.

He’s not a bad cook by any means, as he’s taken to cooking his own meals every day. So, he’s always down to help you whenever you ask him to.

However, he personally prefers being able to just watch you do your thing. It’s just a… very domestic scene?

It’s something that he never thought he’d experience again… not that he believes that he deserves to.

He likes to pair his coffee with your food, even creating some custom blends for any signature or family recipes you have.

He’ll also make you as much coffee as you’d like in return!

He knows just the way you like it and he’ll hurt himself by adding as much sugar, creamer, and flavoring as you need to actually enjoy it.

If you end up trying your hand at making him your own blend of coffee, he’s going to cry.

Dick Gumshoe.

He is over the moon that you can cook. Like, actually cook. Not cook out of a can like he almost exclusively does. When he first tries some of your cooking, he legitimately cries.

Between all the love that went into it and the quality of a homecooked dinner compared to the instant food he lives off of, he is overwhelmed.

To thank you, he does his best to make you some weenies for that first time!

Dick loves spending time with you and … so he’s going to ask you to help teach him your ways!

He’s a very enthusiastic student and assistant and he actually picks up on it fairly quickly. He gives all the credit to you, claiming that you’re just that good of a teacher, but you know better.

He’s always grinning ear to ear when you’re in the kitchen together.

He ends up learning how to make your favorite foods slowly, but surely over time. They’re not always the best, but they are made with a great deal of love!

Please pack some lunches for him when you can! They always make him smile for the rest of the day, especially when you leave notes for him.

If you leave an especially sweet note for him, he’s probably going to cry with happiness as he eats his food. He just loves you so much and is so lucky to have you???

Larry Butz.

“The way to a man’s heart is his stomach,” rings more true than he thought for himself. And he learns that all because of you! With every meal you make him.

Because you’re making something for him!!! That means the world to him. He also cries the first time that you made something especially for him.

He’s always incredibly complimentary of your food and is… surprisingly good about picking out subtle flavors and changes in your cooking.

However, he can be exceptionally annoying when you’re trying to cook sometimes, but you can’t be annoyed with him because he’s adorable as he does it.

Always likes to have his arms wrapped around you and pepper the side of your face and neck with kisses.

He clings to you the entire time and will whine incessantly if you try and get him to stop so you can go get something out of the fridge.

However, he’s placated as soon as he can go back to clinging to you like a koala.

He also likes to sketch you while you’re working, there are some really interesting compositions.

Similarly, he’ll claim that some of your meals inspire him and he’ll give you some rather lovely sketches or pieces as a way of showing his gratitude.

He can’t really cook well and he feels like he’ll only slow you down in the kitchen, but he can draw!

Phoenix Wright.

Phoenix is so weak for your cooking. He’s not the best chef, but at least he knows more about cooking than Gumshoe.

He’s so used to getting stuck treating other people, so he’d be lying if he said that he doesn’t like finally getting to receive.

He’s still going to pay you back in some way, but it’s the thought that matters!

Your meals really help give him a brief reprieve during stressful investigations or after intense days in court.

He pays you in a combination of kisses, hugs, and cuddles.

And of course, he’s going to give you a helping hand when he catches you cooking! He’ll be your assistant in the kitchen. Complete with occasional snarky commentary to make you laugh, but with the bonus of some sneaky kisses.

Please get him some sort of cheesy apron or (even better!) a matching couple’s set. If you don’t, he will.

During the periods of downtime at the law office when he’s not making the toilet shine, he likes to try his hand at emulating some of your recipes and.

They never turn out quite as good as your cooking does, but he likes sharing them with you anyways so he can properly return the favor.
