Summary: Trin is the sunshine to your grumpy. You're polar opposites but you make it work.

A/N: This is so me, my friends call me a grumpy old man.

You couldn't help it – you had a grumpy disposition, and everyone around you knew it. Your friends often teased you, comparing you to an old man who liked to grumble about everything. But as fate would have it, you found yourself in a relationship with someone who was the complete opposite of you.

Trinity was a ball of energy and happiness. Her smile could light up a room, and her laughter was infectious. She was the kind of person who saw the silver lining in every cloud, the bright side in every situation, and the dance floor in every room.

Your friends often marveled at how the two of you could possibly work. You, with your penchant for silence and solitude, and Trin, with her vibrant and outgoing personality. It was like pairing a rainy day with a rainbow.

One evening, as you sat on the porch, sipping your tea and watching the sunset, Trin bounded over with her usual enthusiasm. "Hey, grumpy pants! What's got you looking so serious?"

You chuckled at the nickname, something only she could get away with. "Just enjoying the peace and quiet," you replied.

She plopped down beside you, her knee bouncing with restless energy. "Peace and quiet? Ugh, sounds boring. How about we turn on some music and dance instead?"

You raised an eyebrow, both amused and amazed at how different you were. "You want to dance right now?"

Trin's eyes sparkled as she nodded vigorously. "Why not? Life's too short not to dance whenever you feel like it!"

With a sigh that was part exasperation and part fondness, you agreed. She leaped up and grabbed your hand, pulling you into a makeshift dance on the porch. There you were, swaying to the music she'd turned on, your grumpiness melting away under the warmth of her smile.

As the days turned into weeks, you realized that your differences were what made your relationship special. Trin's positivity balanced your grumpiness, and your calmness grounded her energy. Somehow, in the beautiful chaos of it all, you found harmony.

One day, as you watched Trin teach your grumpy self some dance moves in the living room, you couldn't help but smile. Maybe, just maybe, opposites do attract. And in your case, they attracted like magnets, with Trin's radiant joy drawing you in every time you tried to retreat into your grumpy shell.

With Trinity by your side, you learned that life was meant to be lived with a little more laughter and a lot more dancing, and you couldn't imagine it any other way.

Happy Birthday to Trinity!! 💚🖤💚🖤 She will forever have a special place in my heart, the first black smackdown women's champion. She was a part of kicking down so many doors for women (especially women of color) in WWE and doesn't get anywhere near the credit she deserves. Such a badass and such an inspiration. Feel the glow.
