Do you have the Patch-day blues?
Patch-day blues: Game not working. Mods not working. S4S not working. Discord help unavailable. It sucks.
Cry unstoppable under your blanket -> Does not help and gives you a wet blanket and red eyes
Drink a lots and lots of wine -> Does not help and gives you a headache
Go for a long walk -> Does not help but you might feel refreshed. Or exhausted.
Kick your computer really hard -> Does not help and your toe will probably hurt
Read a Sims story on tumblr -> Does probably not help either, but you will have a nice time, and maybe feel inspired. Which is a good thing for when things are back to normal. (Because it will be. Soon.)

"I can't keep doing this, Colleen. This sneaking around. It's too much."
"What are you saying? I thought you loved me!? What about the baby?"
"It's over, Colleen. I'm done. I can't do this. I don't want to be a father. I have my whole life to think about. I'm leaving for college soon. My father was right. You should've told me no."
"What?! You said you loved me!"
"I guess not enough. Bye, Colleen."

In Memoriam of Norman Everett Gosnoll
1933 - 1998
Norman Gosnoll was the third son born to Gordon Gosnoll, but the first child of Gordon and Lena Gosnoll. Norman was a decorated soldier from his service in Korea. After his honorable discharge from the Army, Norman enrolled in university and earned a degree with honors in Psychology, and met his wife of 37 years, Lillian Marie Harwood, while she was studying to be a nurse. They welcomed three daughters; Bette, Colleen, and Debra. In addition to his wife and daughters, he leaves behind 4 grandchildren.
The tragic and sudden passing of Norman has left a hole in the family, and the family is asking that in place of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice be made in Norman's name. He was always advocating for the betterment of things while staying true to his patriotic nature. Any information about his untimely death can be forwarded to The Company.

In Memoriam of Francis Edward Gosnoll
1925 - 1997
Francis "Frank" Gosnoll was the second son born to Gordon Gosnoll and Evie Delgato. He had a twin brother, Everett, who he was quite close to until Everett's untimely death at the age of 8. Frank's childhood was shaped by the loss of his twin brother, but also by that of his stepmother, Lena. Lena doted upon him from the moment that she and Gordon became a couple. Frank learned responsibility and duty from his parents and joined the fight against Germany in WWII. Surviving the war, he came home and immediately joined the Del Sol Valley police department, where he remained until his retirement. His career spanned decades and he was a decorated detective within the force. His methods helped shape the department into what it is today.
Frank met his wife, Jacklyn, while on duty and he often said that it was the luckiest day of his life. He and Jacklyn lived in Del Sol Valley their entire marriage but often vacationed in New Orleans, which became their home away from home. Frank could often be found with a mug of hot chicory coffee and a fresh beignet while reading the paper.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Lena Gosnoll; his twin brother, Everett; his younger brother; Pvt. Thomas Gosnoll; and his wife, Jacklyn. He is survived by his brother, Norman Gosnoll, and numerous nieces, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

"I am never having sex again." This was the thought running through Colleen's head as she threw up for the third morning straight. She readied for work and then sat on the couch to collect herself.
"What's wrong, Coll?" Ken emerged from his bedroom, dressed to tackle the day, and was surprised to find Colleen sitting there morosely.
"I don't know how to tell you. I don't know how to handle it myself and I'm the one to blame. I've screwed it all up again!" She cried into her hands. Ken walked over and knelt before her. Taking her hands and trying to comfort her. He moved to the couch and pulled her onto his lap.
"You know, sometimes all you need is someone to hold you to make the world seem less horrible." She smiled at him. Ken was always there for her. He was exactly what you'd want in a life partner, ya know, if he liked women. Colleen moved off his lap. What she needed to say required sitting like an adult.
"Do you remember that guy from my trip? I told you that we slept together and I was glad to have been able to have a fling and let loose? Well, I'm pregnant."
Ken had kind of suspected she was, her boobs were bigger than usual. Ken ran his hand through his hair and asked, "So what? We'll deal. You're striving for that promotion and I have a wonderful feeling about today's interview. We'll make it work."
Frustrated, Collen stood and wrapped her arms around herself. She tried to hug herself to feel better or at least make the nausea less bothersome. Ken stood and placed his hand on the small of her back while taking her other hand. They were so warm and soft. His hands were like an instant balm to her soul. Ken always calmed her. Always knew what to say and when to say it. He was such a steadying force and she needed him so much. "It will be ok. Heather would love to have a sibling... I think. We can look at buying a bigger place. We don't have to be married to cosign a loan. There is no one I'd rather spend my time with than you and Heather. I'm not going to marry and I'm not going to have children. You and that little girl are my family. No, we're not married and we're never going to be an item, sorry - you're just not my type, but what we have is better than all that. We support and champion each other to do better and to be better. We will figure this out. We always do." Colleen looked him in the eye and knew that he was right. She was never going to find a better man than Ken and she was grateful that she had him in her life to help her along the way.
"I have to tell my family."
"I'll be there when you do."

**also can we talk about Colleen's mini-me? Heather definitely takes after her mom but she's got Terrell's eyes.
