"we don't have guilty pleasures here because those are lame"
HELL YEAH SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK
I literally hate the term "guilty pleasure(s)" so bad. Like, stop being ashamed of the things you enjoy! As long as it's not hurting anybody, what's the problem? Embrace that shit!

Time for me to be nosy as heck for the fanfic author thing! Hope you don't mind if I ask a lot like you did to me! Here you are: 4, 5, 6, 7, 14, 17, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29, 30, 31, 33, 34, 35, 37, 40 A bunch are the same ones you asked me, but I'm really curious as to what your answers would be. If there's anything you'd like to answer that I didn't ask you, then feel free to add it on if you feel up to it! 💖
Okay, I'm known to ramble at the best of times but I really ran away with myself here. You may want to grab a snack or something first; it's hella long. You've been warned!
4. What made you start writing fanfiction?
When I was like 11/12 I was obsessed with the musical Starlight Express and after trying to google just about everything I could about it I think I stumbled across some fanfiction for it. Well, instantly my little english-class-loving brain grabbed this concept and ran with it. I remember writing my own stories in this cheap little notebook I would hide in my bedside table drawer and it was around this time that TBM came out, so naturally I decided to see if that had any fanfiction too. Turns out it did, and significantly more than Starlight Express might I add, so my creativity ran away with itself and next thing I knew I was setting up my own account and getting properly involved this time. And I guess, as they say, the rest is history...
5. Favourite pairing?
This is pretty tricky for me. Most of the pairings that I have set up are littered with little flaws and things that make them more interesting to write about (and hopefully read about lol) and more realistic. And the already established pairings that I use (i.e. Mack & Brady in old stories or Lela & Tanner) just feel too bland for me to really connect with them, which is probably why I always struggle so much to write for them. I suppose Lela & Tanner can be cute, or at least their potential is; I don't feel like the movies did them justice lol. But for my stuff, at the moment I just feel so out of practice with writing and at such an early stage in the story with Wheels and Waves that I'm not really attached to any of the pairings yet. And besides, the only one I've really established so far is Butchy & Giggles, but if you've read my last chapter then you'll know that that's not exactly doing so hot atm. So, since I can pick holes and find flaws in everyone's relationships too much to pick a favourite, I think I'll pick one I'm excited about that has some of the biggest flaws imaginable: Coral & Hyde. And that's all I'm going to say. Unless you're curious, then ask away lmao.
6. Least favourite pairing?
Okay, I may be a bit controversial here- Actually, this is probably really controversial judging by some of the reviews on my old stories that I was just reading. But I don't really like Mack & Brady… Hear me out! Maybe it's just because I haven't watched the movies for ages and I haven't been thinking about them writing-wise since I abandoned my old stuff but they just seem really bland to me. Don't get me wrong, they're super sweet, but I like giving my characters a bit of grit to work with and make them a little more interesting beneath their 'perfect movie character in an idyllic world' surface and I just could never seem to do that with Mack & Brady. I could never manage to give them any depth and because of that I feel like I just grew to resent them haha. Other people can write for them much better than I can, let's just put it that way. Apart from them though, non-canon-wise in my stories it's got to be Butchy & Coral. Hands down. Honestly, what was I thinking? It was cringey. It was basic. And I think because of it Coral became super one-dimensional and kept losing her way as a character because my whole focus was trying to get them to work as a couple. Spoiler alert: they don't. And since I ditched them I think I was really able to get her to come into her own and develop a much more interesting, albeit worse, side of her.
7. Favourite type of au?
This is probably going to be a quick one because I don't do a lot of au stuff but modern day/high school aus are always a lot of fun. I feel like TBM2 could have done so much cool stuff with that premise but then they went and dumbed down all the characters and really ruined their chance but I think the concept in general is so cute. I'm actually working on something in this vein for my sims blog, but that's not what we're talking about so let's move on.
14. Do the people in your life know you write fic? How do they feel about it?
Nope. I haven't ever mentioned it to my family because I just don't think that they'd 'get' it. I think I mentioned it to one of my best friends ages ago because she also read/casually wrote fanfics but I don't think that she still knows that I've kept it up; she probably just assumes that it was something we both just did when we were 13/14. So they don't really think anything of it; they don't know and probably never will lol. So I just struggle over chapters and ideas and things by myself.
17. What's the harshest criticism you've ever gotten on a fic?
To be honest, I don't think that I've ever really had any super harsh criticism. None that I can remember, anyway. I was reading through the reviews on one story recently and someone told me that I should work on my dialogue for Mack & Brady because it wasn't true enough to their characters and tbh they probably weren't wrong. That's barely criticism but it was the closest that I could find to it in my five minutes of looking and nothing else stood out in my memory so I guess that's what I'll go with. I know that probably sounds super cocky like "omg i'm amazing i never get any criticism from anyone because i'm amazingggg!!!1!!" but honestly all the reviews on my old stuff were just people being nice to me because I was friendly to them and I get next to no reviews on my current stuff, so there's no real opportunity for criticism if there's no interaction in the first place lmao.
20. What's your biggest struggle when it comes to writing fic?
Actually finding the time to write it when I have uni work, family life, stuff with friends and a somewhat healthy sleep schedule to balance as well. I just don't have enough hours in a day. Besides that, when it actually comes to writing I guess I find it hard to stick solely to ideas that progress the plot. I've been trying to work on that a lot more lately and be more ruthless with my planning but sometimes I just get inspired by something fun and in sheer creative desperation I just wedge it into the plot somewhere. And I think that for the reader's sake I need to stop doing this.
21. Your biggest strength?
I don't know if this is what anyone else would consider my biggest strength but I personally really like the way that I can develop the characters beyond what little personality we get to see in the movies. I love working on their story arcs and experimenting with how they 'exist' in my head, like finding out who the quiet souls are, who the loud mouths are and why they act like that. From the snippets we actually see of them in the movies and how basic they are, I'm pretty proud of the characters I've rounded them into in my stories; they feel a lot more real now, to me at least.
22. Which do you do more: read fic or write fic?
I know it's hard to believe, but probably write. I only really keep up with a handful of stories now and I always find I'm more actively thinking about kicking my butt into gear and writing something myself instead of setting out to read someone else's stuff.
24. What's your process?
Daydream and plan out future plot lines for most of the waking hours of the day. Find the fleeting shred of time available in said day to sit down and work on something if both inspiration and motivation are working in my favour. Actually sit down and open up a google doc, perhaps with a cup of tea if I'm feeling particularly adventurous and fancy treating myself for doing something productive. Painfully struggle through the first ten minutes of warming up my writing muscles and getting my creative juices flowing again. Settle into a good rhythm and just let my fingers and the words work their magic until something boring from the real world interrupts me and drags me away from my fictional one. Then repeat.
25. Of all the fics you've written, which is your favourite?
I know it's not necessarily a single fic but I really liked when I was writing the one-shots for Surf, Sun, Sand because I knew that I was writing the things people wanted to read, so I knew there was more of a chance that they'd enjoy them. And it was nice not being constrained to one timeline, I could jump around and play with different pairings, ideas and settings as much as I, well, the requests, wanted. I also really liked my Twelve Days of Cruisin' for a Bruisin' Christmas story, but I can't put that at the top spot because I'm so frustrated that I never got that final chapter up. It was really fun to write though and that's one of the few things that I've written that I'm still happy with to this day lmao. I just think it's sweet and I like how I wrote all the characters, so I'd say that's a win for me.
27. What's your most popular fic? Do you think the popularity is warranted, or is there another fic that you think deserves it more?
Statistics-wise it's Paper Flowers, by a long-shot. 77,485 views and 331 reviews. Now, I think that the fact that there are about a million chapters and I wrote it back when the fandom was thriving has quite a lot to do with that, if not all of it, because I'm almost certain that it can't be the writing, character quality or whatever crap I threw into the plot back then. But for nostalgia's sake, I'll allow it. And to be fair, it was probably alright at the time. I do think, however, that I've developed and improved my writing style over the years, so it would be nice if Wheels and Waves could get a little more popularity (since it's something I'm actually semi-proud of lol). But I just don't have the audience, so what can you do?
29. Which of your fics was the hardest to write?
Just Like Me. By a country mile. Like I mentioned earlier, I really struggle when it comes to writing for Mack & Brady and although I liked the concept (and a few other people did too) I just wasn't ever happy with what I ended up with. The chapters felt boring (which probably had something to do with the fact that I wrote them in my phone notes at 11:30pm), their relationship felt bland and the plot felt like it was going nowhere. I sort of had a vague structure of where I wanted to take it, but when I couldn't seem to get the hang of writing for them every chapter felt like such a challenge.
30. Favourite fic writers?
You, girl! I literally don't even bother to keep up with anyone else anymore because I just don't have the time (uni will do that to a bitch, lol) but I never miss a post of yours and will frequently go and re-read your stuff (especially if it's in preparation for a crossover lmao) if I need a pick-me-up. And like you said, we're practically family now and what kind of internet sister would I be if I didn't support my fam?!
31. Do you write just for fun, or would you ever consider pursuing writing?
I don't think I'd ever actually pursue it as a job. I'm in dentistry school atm so I'm pretty set on becoming a dentist, but even if that wasn't the case, I don't think I have the creativity to create my own unique story with original characters and a whole universe under my control. I just think it's fun to expand on other ideas and grow my own ideas from them.
33. Fanfiction pet peeves?
Bad grammar is really frustrating. But I also just think it's really boring when people will basically re-write the whole movie/story pretty much word-for-word with only the slightest of alterations. Like, I've already watched/read this once, why would I want to do it again? I came here for creativity and fun stories with my fave characters, not the flat-out plot all over again with a cookie-cutter, paper doll inserted into the mix to steal a few lines. It just bored me.
34. First person, second person or third person?
I'd probably put second person last because I just find reader-insert things weird and cringey. Like they legit make me feel uncomfortable sometimes. And then I'd go with first person because although I don't really have a problem with it, it's just never a style I'd choose to write in; I just can't really get the hang of it and I prefer to be able to see and show everyone's perspective on a situation from the outside, which is why good old third person has to be my favourite.
35. OCs, reader inserts or canon pairings?
Like I said, reader inserts creep me out a bit so definitely not those. Canon pairings are a pretty safe bet and can be cute most of the time (I just personally seem to struggle with them lol) and if they're done well (i.e. not basic bitches with no personality that just double as weird reader inserts *cough cough* Coral in Paper Flowers smh 12 year old me) then I think OCs can be really fun and can add another layer to fanfics that takes them beyond the bubble of what's canon.
37. Which character is your favourite to write for?
Saying Coral would be too easy because she's literally my own character, so of course I'm going to enjoy writing for her. So, other than that I'm going to have to say Seacat. I feel much more comfortable writing for the surfers than the bikers anyway, so that definitely plays into it. But I really like the version of him I've created. I really leaned into his sort of fiesty, stubborn side that occasionally showed itself in the movies, which created a super interesting dynamic with his inherent relaxed nature that all the surfers have. He's a really fun character to work with and I've got lots of fun things planned for him, so I think he's earned that top spot. But I'll mention Giggles too because it's been fun developing her character more deeply for Wheels and Waves. I just like a bit more drama, which Seacat can deliver more than my sweet bby G.
40. Imagine yourself 10 years in the future, do you still think you'll be writing fic?
Honestly, who knows? Back when I started I never thought I'd still be writing it at 18, so never say never, I guess.
And since you said I could choose another one, I'll go for 38. From where do you draw inspiration?
I wanted to include this one because I'm literally listening to my Wheels and Waves playlist as I write this to try to get me into that #writingmood. A few different things influence me but music has always been my biggest inspiration. I'm constantly adding new songs to my playlist and finding songs I want to use so badly that I'll rearrange and shift around plot points to work them into the story. For example, that Coral & Hyde relationship I mentioned earlier? Grown entirely from songs. But yeah, I'm always getting inspired by songs, which is why I'm really trying to get a general plan of Wheels and Waves set in stone so that I'll stop being tempted to switch things around and ruin the plot with convoluted ideas I get on a whim because I heard a fun song. On another note though, if you have any song suggestions then hit me up lmao; I'm always looking for more haha.

The Local Shooter Vs. B-LIFE
Tumblr media
(LS) Hello thank you being apart of a great come up and welcome, may we get a small introduction for the people reading who don’t know who you are, where are you from? Who are you? And what do you do?
(B) I'm B-L1FE or B to most. I am an Indiana native but for the last 4 years I've been in the Houston, TX area. I do everything except make beats. I'm a recording artist myself, I engineer, DJ, design, visuals, animations, curate. To add to all that I'm also the CEO of my own record label, FAITH×VICTORY Records. I also am the CEO of three other companies: SupportArt which is a promotion company that also houses a collective, and MeditatedMerch which is my clothing line. There is stuff I'm missing I'm sure but I'm basically the one stop shop for good underground business.
(LS) Being a Texas native how do you feel that the music scene has impacted you and your creativeness?
(B) The scene in the H has never really impacted me much but surround regions have amazingly unique sounds that are almost nice accents to a style like mine that blends hip hop with metal and alt rock. The Dallas FT. Worth area is full of this new wave sound that people like Jah or $not really helped catapult. Then south Florida is known for the wild hype sounds they give us like Pouya. I think these regions influenced me by just kind of telling me hey its ight to let go and just be me. I used to be signed under a different stage name and to be honest it was all bullshit. All the rules and what they wanted me to be. This area in general just let the monster loose I guess you could say.
(LS) You also run a blog on your own called supportart where its a platform for many creative artist in the underground, how did that come about and how long have you been running it?
(B) We are gonna be two years old in June which is unreal. We house 20 artists at the moment including myself. It honestly all started as a group chat of artists trying to put together a collective mixtape. Most people didnt come through but it actually opened a networking portal that led us to our first client who was King Kap who at the time was signed to Quality Control. We continue to work with him to this day and alongside the leaders I make the calls with (Yung N ICy, Fat Daddy J, Psych Ward, Penny the Shabba, Waveon, wa55up, & Kaster) we just had the flood gates opened on us. Alot of trial and error but never once have we been exposed or finessed. We work hard for the underground and have new ways coming soon to showcase hidden talent.
Tumblr media
(LS) you seem to be a jack of all trades with graphics, producing, and much more! What do you feel is your strongest creative outlet for you and why?
(B) All the other crafts came from being a recording artist. I think I truly shine there. Away from the art and visuals, I've had some pretty big accomplishments as the rapper B-L1FE. Sometimes I forget to push my own stuff when I'm so busy pushing the underground or my artists. In 2019 I dropped my first and sophomore album which did well. Underviews did an article naming me a young mogul. I made the underground freshman list which was amazing to be with the likes of GNAR, Lord Xan, 916frosty, and more. But if anything compares it's my graphic design. I've been doing design since I was 14 and I'm almost 28 now. I still have every graphic I've done and my portfolio now have close to 6000 pieces. It's the main reason I could leave the day job life behind.
(LS) You also happen to be on all major platforms with a couple single releases, where did you first find your passion for music? Also how did you know that it was going to be a career for you?
(B) My parents didnt really do much parenting but they did raise me around terrific music. I have right now I believe 83 songs on all major platforms which is quite a bit since my contract from the previous record label didnt expire until April of 2018. My parents raised me around Dr. Dre, Bone Thugs, Snoop, Nas, Destinys Child, Master P, and all the greats. So I had this around me so much at 12 I started writing structured songs and didnt even realize it. Football was passion #1 but when I decided to rescend my commitment to Eastern Michigan University, I started toying around with being in a band. After awhile my vocal cords suffered from pure metal music. So I turned to rap which was also like a hobby. Then once I began to network in around 2012 I noticed I had something alot of others didnt. So it was then I knew. The rest was waiting for the contract I signed stupidly to expire. My biggest influences would be Chronic 2001 by Dr. Dre and Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park.
(LS) Your most recent single regurgitate and there’s a single called “Welcome To Hell” which did amazing numbers on Twitter! What was the whole process behind those songs and why did you pick that specific song to shows case the project?
(B) The process behind these two singles were both random to be honest. I put out my second EP back in December and wanted to take my time on my third album so I do what I call SINGLE SZN. I drop a new song on major platforms every week. It started with my first single of 2020 which was 'Never' and 'Welcome to Hell' was the second. With that one it was Angry Orphan's concept (featured artist) and he sent me his parts and a rough idea and I thought since we both are lyrical artists let's do what Em and Royce do when they collab and take these same schemes but change our words and small parts of our flows. It made a very cohesive song. The marketing is always the same for me. I let people know way before something drops that it's coming. The main key is promoting stuff more than once. So many people drop a track, run it through some group chats for that day, and then leave it to die. You gotta keep pushing content towards people. With 'Regurgitate' I hadn't even planned a part of it. I woke up to an email from SupportArt's head engineer, Penny the Shabba, that two beats. One was the beat for that song. Wrote it in 15 mins recorded it mixed it, he mastered it while I did the cover, and within 4 or so hours a full song was ready and off to distrubution.
Tumblr media
(LS) What’s a regular day in the life of B-LIFE? Do you wake up in the morning go to the studio? Do you wake up in the morning and start interviewing people and check on your blog? What is the first thing you do when you wake up?
(B) The minute I wake up I need a shower. Cant start the day right without it. My studio and everything is at home so I just go off my daily planner. I keep everything written down including my own personal stuff and I usually pick whatever project I really dont wanna do to start. That way I'm getting through the 'blah' jobs with full energy and the shit I'll enjoy doing I save for later when I'm drained. Usually first thing I do business wise is touch base with my team. We use telegram so we can avoid social media. We a family so they come first. Next is clients. Always touch base with any clients waiting still or people I may have had halfway to the payment phase.
(LS) juggling music, blogs, graphics, and also a clothing brand how do you know when to find time for each creative outlet? Do you set a certain schedule for certain things? Do you have a certain day for certain things how does that work for you?
(B) I wish I knew. Everyday is dedicated to everything. I didnt want to say okay Tuesday we design only covers and logos but sell 5 videos the night before that Tuesday. I ask my clients for deadlines and bundle clients I tell them the timeframes. To be honest my turnaround is so quick and I've done this for so long I do it super fast. Some AMV clients get their video back in an hour with their mind blown. I try not to look at it as such a big work load. Whenever I do feel overwhelmed then its time for like 30 mins on the xbox or a jog. Somehow I never run out of creativity which certainly helps.
(LS) What’s your main goal as far as music? Do you plan on getting signed, are you looking to stay independent? Is music even your full on passion or are you looking to stay more on the blog and manager/artist development side or what is your main goal?
(B) Main goal is to get my label signed how Travis Scott did with Cactus Jack. It keeps the artist safe and in it's own way allows you to stay independent but with proper funding. Music is the main passion. I never say I manage my artists. We push them to build their own brands and we help them with that. I'm simply just keeping a platform all about love. The rest does it's own thing all by itself. Truly amazing.
(LS) Thank you again for being a part of this great come up, is there anything else you would like for the readers to know about you? Or should we keep our eyes peeled for anything to come in 2020? What are some links that you can share were new readers can go ahead and find your work?
(B) You can find everything related to be via my linktree which is linktr.ee/lifewitha1
Album 3's first single drops May 1st and you can already pre order it on Apple Music. Its titled 'Bob Ross' and ensomber produced it. Tune in. Tap in. We out here not just for us but for everybody with the it's always love approach. Just dont get shit twisted haha. You can find me everywhere but soundcloud. Bless up everybody and much love to The Local Shooter. Houston we strong!!

celestiyale here~ all of the oc questions because I'm an ass like that
I can’t believe you’ve done this to me
1. Your first OC ever?
Technically my sonic oc I made when I was like what, 8?
In all seriousness, I think it’s Kara. She’s can shapeshift into a wolf.
2. Do you have a personal favourite among your OCs?
I’d gotta say it’s probably Chase. He’s pretty upbeat and I think about what stupid things he’d get into.
3. Have you ever adopted a character or gotten a character from someone else?
Nah
4. A character you rarely talk about?
I barley talk about most of my OCs, you’ll just have to ask to see them
(。•̀ᴗ-)✧
5. If you could make only one of your OCs popular/known, who would it be?
Kara. She’s apart of a story i’m trying to make and therefore if she’s popular than my other characters would be by association.
6. Two OCs of yours that look alike despite not being related?
Chase and Mike. When I first did their designs freshman year of highschool they looked almost the same, thankfully I’ve fixed that a bit. Just in case though it gave me an excuse to pretend they’re brothers of sorts.
7. Are your OCs part of any story or stories?
Kara, Jasper, Bellona, and a couple others i’ve yet to name. They’re the ones that actually have a kind of story going on. still working on the others
8. Do you RP as any of your OCs? If you do, introduce one of your RP OCs here!
I haven’t RP’ed since elementary school @whimsicalsnail can vouch for me
9. Would you ever be willing to give any of your OCs to someone else?
No, they’re all my children and I love them.
10. Introduce an OC with a complicated design?
None of them are very complicated actually...a bit too simple if you ask me...
11. Is there any OC of yours you could describe as a “sunshine”?
Chase or Kara
12. Name an OC that isn’t yours but who you like a lot
There are too many webcomics I’ve read for me to pick one
13. Do you have any troublemaker OCs?
Elliot, he’s in college and he’s a punk
14. Introduce an OC with a tragic backstory
Kara and Jasper. Their family and possibly clan were wiped out by a witch and wizard. Jasper takes care of Kara like a little sister and feels responsible for both their families fallen because he could have given a better warning. Since the attack, Kara has nightmares and if she get’s too emotional (anger, fear, sadness) something else takes over.... talk about cliche
15. Do you like to talk about your OCs with other people?
Only ones that promise not to judge how terrible they all are
16. Which one of your OCs would be the best at biology (school subject)?
Mia
17. Any OC OTPs?
I don’t really ship any of my OCs together. I’ve tried making someone for Chase and Mike but...relationships are complicated and so is OC making
18. Any OC crackships?
Nah
19. Introduce an OC that means a lot to you (and explain why)
I can’t say there’s one that “means a lot” to me...guess I don’t bond with them enough hehe
20. Do any of your OCs sing? If they sing, care to share more details (headcanon voice, what kind of songs they like etc)?
Chase is a singer. He’s the lead singer of a little rock band he make called Rising Phoenixes (It’s a work in progress people). I made him when I first heard the song The Phoenix by Fall Out Boy. So his voice would be something like Patrick Stump with maybe a bit of Chester Bennington from Linkin Park and Michael Barnes from Red.  Obviously he’s really into rock music and he likes rap as well as some pop.
21. Your most artistic OC
Technically Chase. The rest of em are goons. Elliot doodles somewhat but that’d when he’s not paying attention in class or procrastinating
22. Is there any OC of yours people tend to mischaracterize? If yes, how?
I wouldn’t know since not many people know about them
23. Introduce OC that has changed from your first idea concerning what the character would be like?
With complete honesty, none of my OCs have really changes much since I’ve made them. Design, yeah, but they have the same personality and goals and stuff.
24. If you could meet one OC of yours, who would it be and why?
Elliot or Chase. They’re both dumb and I love them.
25. The OC that resembles you the most (same hobby, height, shared like/dislike for something etc?)
Kara. When I made her in elementary I was basically trying to make myself seem more interesting...
26. Have you ever had to change your OC’s design or something else about them against your will?
Nope. All the changes I’ve done are my own choices.
27. Any OCs that were inspired by a certain song?
Buddy, a lot of my OCs are based on songs. My problem is that I don’t remember most of them...
Mike - Basketcase by Green Day
Chase - The Phoenix by Fall Out Boy
Mia - Titanium by David Guetta ft. Sia
Bonnie - Cake by Melanie Martinez
28. Your most dangerous OC?
Realistically, Mia. She’s a spy and analyzes all situations with caution.
Fantasy wise, Bellona and her brother. They use their magic with little to no regard for other life.
29. Which one of your OCs would go investigate an abandoned house at night without telling anyone they’re going?
I would say Elliot but he’s a little turd so he’d tell everyone just to act like a tough guy.
30. Which one of your OCs would most likely have a secret stuffed animal collection?
Mia. The semi stoic ones always have a soft side.
31. Pick one OC of yours and explain what their tumblr blog would be like (what they reblog, layout, anything really)
Chase would have a social blog that probably promotes his band and there’s a bunch of selfies with him and his bandmates along with audio posts of their songs. Some grumpy Mike pictures are included.
32. Which one of your OCs would be the most suitable horror game protagonist and why?
Mia. Since she’s a spy she’s got all the training to survive and she’s been trained mentally to adapt to situations. There’s a chance she’ll scream at some point though.
33. Your shyest OC?
Elliot. He’s very socially awkward.
34. Do you have any twin characters?
Debating wether to give Kara a twin brother. I dabbled in wether I wanted a girl or boy and I can have both if they’re siblings. Still indecisive about it though.
Might be repetitive though since Bellona and her brother are twins as well.
35. Any sibling characters?
Mike and Chase aren’t related by blood, but they have a sort of bond like siblings.
36. Do you have OC pairs where the other part belongs to someone else (siblings, lovers, friends etc)?
I’m not sure I understand the question.
37. Introduce an OC who is not quite human
Kara and Jasper are both shapeshifters. Kara originally turned into a black wolf but after the attack on her family, her fur is black and white. Jasper can turn into a red wolf. Bellona and her brother know magic and are able to turn into dragons.
38. Which one of your OCs would be the best dancer?
I’m thinking that Mike was sent to ballet or some sort of fancy dance classes. Meanwhile I have another OC that GETS DOWN AT THE CLUB.
39. Introduce any character you want
Jasper isn’t talked about much so uh. Yeah he’s a shapeshifter and acts much like a protective older brother towards Kara. He’s got a hint of Jakob from Fire Emblem Fates to his personality when it comes to Kara. He’s a typically polite young man and he tried to hide his emotions a lot of the time. He can be very caring and kind depending on the person though.
40. Any fond memories linked to your characters? Feel free to share!
When I first drew Mike, my friend said he was hot. It was during theatre my freshman year.
41. Has anyone drawn fanart of your OCs? If yes, maybe show a picture or two here (remember sources & permissions!)
@whimsicalsnail has, but they’re buried deep in our tumblr convo
42. Which one of your OCs would be the most interested in Greek gods?
hmm probably Chase
43. Do you have any certain type when you create your OCs? Do you tend to favour some certain traits or looks? It’s time to confess
I’m gonna be honest, I consider all of my OCs attractive and I would probably date the dudes. I’m guily of same face syndrome too probably.
44. Something you like about your OCs in general
I like that i’m able to make them and that I don’t always have to draw fanart to feel satisfied
45. A character you no longer use?
I use all of them...in due time...some more than others...
46. Has anyone ever told you that you treat your OCs badly?
I DON’T TELL PEOPLE ABOUT MY OCS SO NO....
47. Has anyone ever (friendly) claimed any of your OCs as their child?
I don’t tell people enough...@whimsicalsnail probably has
48. OC who is a perfect cinnamon roll, too good for this world, too pure
Either Chase or Kara
49. Which one of your OCs would most likely enjoy memes
Elliot. He’s a college student, of course he’d be too into memes.
50. Give me the good ol’ OC talk here. Talk about anything you want
I usually create OCs based on songs, even if I can’t remember them all. There are a few songs that i’d relate to my OCs and think of them when listening to them. Kara is basically my self insert into the fiction world and I am ashamed but it’s too late now. I hope they all don’t have the same kind of personality too....
If you’re interested in any of my OCs, I’ll gladly do some doodles of them to show you what they look like!
@axioms-sassiest this took me almost an hour to do....why.....

aND I LOVE THESE KINDS OF QUESTIONS. THEY’RE MY FAVE.
(oops this got so long)
Favorite BTS Song: Let Me Know is a song that I could listen to over and over and never get sick of. I have such an attachment to it bc it was one of the first songs I listened to when I first got into BTS. Everyone sounds so good in it and I love how every tour (except for the most recent ones i.e. Epilogue and Wings tour) they’ve remixed the instrumental to give it a different vibe. I’ve gotta say this one is my favorite though. There’s something about that version that just sounds so much sadder than the other versions, plus that ending kook does. Y E S.
Jin: I have the softest spot for Jin because he’s sUCH a good hyung. Although he’s very giggly, flirty and cheesy, he’s also very good at taking care of his boys. I love hearing about how he used to take kook to school, or how he plays with maknae line, etc. etc. One of my favorite Jin moments was during Bon Voyage when Namjoon was being sent back to Korea because he had lost his passport and Jin and Joon had a moment where they shook hands and you could sort of see the shift in leadership, for lack of better words, from Joon to Jin. Like Jin was promising Nam that he’d take care of things. Although Jin’s oldest, he’s not the leader so he sometimes has an awkward relationship with responsibility within the group, but in that moment you could really see how much Namjoon trusted Jin to take care of the rest of the boys and makes sure it was still a worthwhile trip for the group. I think this trait is especially heart warming knowing that Jin’s the youngest in his family so he doesn’t really have experience with the ‘older brother’ role.
Yoongi: mY BOY. I know everybody says this about him but I love his passion for music. It motivates me in ways that literally nothing else can. I love how he talks about music. One of my favorite things he’s ever said is that he has no greed for the center, that he just wants to make good music. He’s so knowledgable about every aspect of music. I love their concert making videos where everyone’s rehearsing and the staff are asking the boys about their mics and everyone’s just saying ‘oh mine’s too loud’ ‘i can’t hear mine’ but then we got our music expert over here saying ‘please raise mic 2 by 1 decibel’. He knows the ins and outs of music and making music. Every song he’s made is consistently amazing–lyrically, production-wise, rap-wise, everything. His music is so raw and truthful that you can’t help but be attracted to it. Min Genius indeed guys.
Hoseok: oh hope :(((( i literally love this boy so much. My favorite thing about him has gOT to be his duality. Like he said one time he’s the ‘bridge between the maknae and hyung line’ so he has to be able to mesh well with both groups. He does it sO WELL. Like a perfect example would be this bangtan bomb vs. this bangtan bomb. Like those two bb really exemplify the duality of hoseok. I also feel like hyung line and maknae line have fun in different ways and Hope seems to enjoy both. (I feel like hyung line has more fun if the situation or place they’re at is super fun. The first example I can think of is when they were in Kota Kinabalu and Hope and Tae were dancing on stage, or when Tae belly danced in Dubai. Like hyung line have so much fun just being in the moment, whereas maknae line like being the fun thing. They like to be involved in the fun event happening and they’re more willing to put themselves out there.) Hoseok is really good at doing both and he’s really adaptable to each situation.
Namjoon: Where do I even start with Joon, oh man.  I love how he works to educate himself. Not gonna lie, Nam was probably the member that I had the hardest time warming up to because he has made quite a few mistakes in the past. But in hindsight, one has to acknowledge that they’re all on completely different planes. Never once has Namjoon ever repeated the same mistake twice. He’s also been very blunt about his mistakes, apologizing and recognizing them. One event that comes to mind immediately was when he was interviewed when his mixtape came out and he spoke about saying ‘westside till’ i die’ in If I Ruled The World. Like he had no issue with talking about the fact that it was a mistake and explaining why it was wrong. He didn’t dodge or try to avoid the question. He faced it head on because he’d long since acknowledged that it was a mistake. Another moment is when fans spotted that he was reading a book about feminism after the Not Today lyrics were criticized. Obviously he had an explanation behind the lyrics, but he must’ve felt shaky about the topic. One thing I’ve always hated is when someone, idol or not, gets into a controversy and you have people who are always saying ‘stop hating on them, educate them’. I’m a strong believer that if someone truly cares about the controversy and if they care about the fact that people are bothered and hurt due to their actions, they will take it upon themselves to research the topic, to educate themselves. And that’s exactly what Namjoon does. I’m also pretty sure that the only reason why Namjoon gets into trouble so often is because he’s very vocal and comfortable with talking. He’s a good speaker and he knows it. I think people have to remember that there was a point in everyone’s life where they weren’t politically correct. We’ve all had to grow; the only difference is that Namjoon has had to grow into a worldly citizen in the public eye.
Jimin: Jimin…oh Jimin. He’s someone who’s very close to my heart. His personality in general is my favorite. He has the type of personality that just makes your heart ache. He’s so thoughtful, humble and passionate. I recently saw a post that talked about how the bts twitter is mostly maintained and updated by Jimin (which literally left me shook bc when you think about it, it’s so true.) But he doesn’t only update fans on himself but also the other members, because he knows fans are curious and that we care. He goes out of his way to think of us and what we want. He’s humble almost to a point of self depreciation, man. In the muster making video where the staff told him about how the members voted him as the most hardworking because he stays so late in the practice room and he was all ‘Oh they’re lying. They just say that. They definitely work harder’. But you know it, bangtan knows it, everybody knows it: Jimin works really fucking hard. He’s really passionate about his craft. That one log of his where he talks about how he keeps working really hard but nothing seems to be improving really struck a chord in my heart. He’s so passionate about the job he has now that when interviewers ask him about what else he wants to do like acting or something he’s always saying how he doesn’t want to do other stuff because he wants to just really zero in on singing and dancing.
Taehyung: I love how, unlike most of Bangtan, Tae had no aspiration to pursue music or idol-life in any way but he excels at his job now. Like it literally blows my mind how if Tae’s friend hadn’t wanted to audition and dragged Tae with him, Bighit wouldn’t have seen him and asked him to audition as well. There are so many times when one different decision could’ve happened and we would’ve never seen him in Bangtan. Like he had to beg Bighit to let him audition to be in Bangtan because he thought they were so cool. I think Tae knows this and that’s what makes him so grateful and committed to Bangtan. I love how he says things like ‘Bangtan is my first and last team’. Watching him (and also JIN OH M YGOD) grow over the years just goes to prove that hard work can match natural talent exceptionally well. He matches so well with the rest of Bangtan on all levels and he doesn’t fall behind at all. I think Tae is a great person to look at when you’re chasing your dreams. Because there’ll be a time when you feel like you’re not up to par with other people or you feel like you’re not good at what you want to do. And, personally, when I fall into a place like that I remember there are people like Taehyung out there. People who didn’t have a natural born talent or drive for what they’re amazing at now - and all due to hard work.
Jungkook: I love his determination. Kook is the most determined person I’ve ever seen. I love how once he’s set his eyes on something, he works hard to accomplish it. Like immediately I think of how Jungkook always says that he’s really bad at expressing his feelings, but recently Jimin said that he’s been trying really hard to tell them when he’s happy or sad. Like he’ll even tell them little things that make him happy. (Throwback to slow dancing with Yoongi and he literally just shouted ‘Oh I’m so happy right now’ I literally thought I was going to coMBUST). He’s so willing to put himself out there and work hard. I feel like that’s one of the main reasons he’s known as the ‘golden maknae’. He’s unafraid to rise up to the challenge.
