Forged by The Stars AU (FbTS) Pt. 3
Okay, so been a minute. Now we're kinda just on the main OC that I made up the Forged by The Stars AU for. Titania. I'll dive right into it but if you're new to whatever the hell I'm talking about, you can probably find some context in Part 1 or 2 (preferably recommend looking at the first half of Part 1)
If you're looking for them, links should be right here:
Pt. 1, Pt. 2, Pt. 3 (You're here)
I must warn anybody though, that before going on ahead. There will be mentions of suicide.
So if you're fine with it, please proceed Moving on,
So I originally started out Titania as the first in this Forged by The Stars AU after listening to "Middle of The Night" by Elley Duhé but decided to indulge a little further in Quartzstreak and Ace's background in this AU but I'm happy I can finally elaborate on Titania's, finally. Titania's appearance comes in the design of the same accessory she wears on her actual reference aka. A golden necklace with a round ruby-like piece that will appear on herself in present form albeit in just a false design to what the original actually looks like.
And her purpose in this au? Well, surprise, surprise, her wish is what deems her to be more of a limited cursed object then anything. Her wish is to drain the life force of those who use her for her strength and powers when they command her to heed to their call, limiting their life span, strength, and so forth, gradually based on how frequently they use her in battle or whatever the situation may call upon her for. She refers to it as "feeding on the selfish, cowardly, undeserving, and ignorant"
Every life-form she's inevitably promised to offer strength to, have died, offering her the strength in return and the wearer? Absolutely nothing in the consequences of their greed.
Titania had arrived to Earth, upon being passed around, hand to hand, from different life forms, beings, you name it until the time arrived where she was being sent by via. Cargo ship and ended up sent to pre-Earth in a wreckage, amongst other items that were intended to fulfill some portion of an exchange the previous seller was hoping to clear out.
The celestial being encased in the necklace waits, but during this time begins to manifest themselves from the crystal from time to time in a illusion-like design, in search of a potential host every now, as they beg, whisper about the promises of great power and strength, and to put on the necklace.
For the first few years, life begins to flourish around them and at the loss of it all, Titania prepares to just submit to her misfortunate circumstances that she ended up in a place clearly without an intelligent enough form to bare the item. Until, a potential host enters her proximity enough for her to be pulled towards them in an attempt to get them to come closer, near enough for them to find her necklace and put it on. There is nothing but a silhouette to show what her host looks as she only maintains to her sole quest: make them wear the necklace and forge a bargain.
Once that occurs, she comes to meet the bearer of the Forged Item, surprised by their looks before she's realized, they're no native of the planet she was lying dormant on for years. A robotic yet sentient being who holds the name, "Dinobot"
She makes light judgement but still offers the proposal to the rightfully skeptical Cybertronian, who after some strong persuasion (or slight hypnotizing) holds enough courage to shake Titania's hand to seal the bargain. The host knows exactly what he's gotten into and still accepts the consequences? In Titania's mind, she believes Dinobot to be a fool or a stroke of luck that just happens to appear before her.
Although to Dinobot, Titania just happens to be a 50/50 chance he's willing to take. Since considering at this point in time, where they meet. Dinobot is fully aware of the Golden Disc's purposes, where he'd hid them, and now-- was just simply the crossroads, in his mind, whether he should end his life before fate takes its turn for the worst or for the better. Having Titania, won't change his fate but it'll let him know when he'll meet his end, the offering of her strength in battle was only an extra. His wish to Titania, was to help him succeed in carrying out the termination of Megatron, when that time came fit, and for that, the deal was set.
Both sides at this time, believed that they got exactly what they wanted but as time gradually progresses. Titania finds herself sympathizing Dinobot at times, from the still faded yet evident mistreatments of him still being apart of a Predacon heritage, to his reconsiderations of every contemplated choice he makes whether to do something in order to change the course of his fate.
After some time, she comes to try and talk to Dinobot, attempting to sway him from time to time from doing rash things that would otherwise prove to be out of character for her since-- after all. She was expecting Dinobot to die eventually, yet never expects it to be by his own hands. The ex-Predacon would argue back that it was unreasonable of her to be talking about his death and that it should've been none of her business, they already knew he was going to die, so what's the point in trying to stop it from happening?
Titania could never answer Dinobot properly, but still continued each and every time to try and talk to him, bit by bit and eventually? Dinobot stopped pushing away Titania, whether it was because he got tired of doing so, or because he found Titania's attempts to divide his thoughts from the more "darker" ones to be... nice, or at least a good try.
The two somewhat bonded over the time together, it was short but sweet, almost saddening all the same as it left Titania to regret making the exchange with Dinobot as she realized that he was never how she expected them to be.
And when the final days came, Dinobot started to rely on Titania, less and less. Which clearly became an evident notice to Titania, who would question him at times out of worry and what he was trying to do. Short responses were all she'd receive back every now that barely quelled her concern until the time arrives.
This would all occur in "Code of Hero" as Titania was forced to watch the entire battle between Dinobot and the Predacons, leaving him battered and exhausted during his arrival to Megatron before she watched him continue to try and fight with a dying breath, before he got onto his knees, battle-worn and on the brink of completely shutting down forever. For the last time, Titania appeared, kneeling before him to cradle his face as he gripped the forged item around his neck, while she begged in whispers for him to summon her.
In a final attempt, to take Megatron down with him, he gives in before becoming blasted by Megatron once more, allowing Titania to take him down with Dinobot in the heat of the moment, thus ending the Predacon leader's life for Dinobot's wish to be completed. Yet even so, Titania remained heartbroken and unsatisfied, returning to the bot that lied still on the ground and kneeled by his side until the fire in the forest faded, deeming his spark-- already gone to the stars above.
