ok i've watched up to s4ep4, a lot going on as always so im just gonna. put my thoughts into a bulleted list under the readmore.  there's three things but points two & three are a approx a paragraph each

the brothers, each claimed by heaven and hell respectively makes me insane. especially considering their first impressions back in s1. fucking love that shit

"you know how the characters didn't question the ethics of what they're doing? well now they have to confront that" (circa ep "Are You There, God? It's Me, Dean Winchester") fucks me up. there's a level of satisfaction with that concept being brought up very explicitly in the ep while the characters themselves are too busy with war to sit down for coffee and discuss ethics after it's all over. the scene after the fight against the witnesses, dean's visted by castiel, and tries to question the morals of The Lad Upstairs. to which castiel shuts him down. the winchesters aren't supposed to ask questions, they're supposed to fight. especially with dean being a hunting dog for heaven. there's been this underlying theme of questioning the motivations of authority & power (john & sam's arguments come to mind first), and i'm keeping alert on any mentions on authority from now on alskdjfda. chronic fatigue be damned i'll make a red string conspiracy board over this

Metamorphosis had such a "fight that was this close to causing a breakup" vibe to it, sam leaving carthage feeling more alienated and reviled by dean for the blood that flows through him (something something familial connections represented by blood, azazel tainting sam's blood thus tainting their connection), after working so hard to hang on to being someone who wants to do good by people…. dean's inability to come to terms with his baby brother being a "freak with ESP" is the center of this struggle though, and has catastrophically fractured their relationship for the time being, and honestly sam's relationship to his own humanity and morals bc of their codependency…. they're in their breakup era also dean's already come back wrong he has no fucking room to judge als;kdjf

these are all familiar staples, but are technically avoidable npcs. most of them are vendors to the player and the other is a secret boss.

it could be something to do with her being a paid feature of the initial kickstarter and not being owned by Toby fox???? or something????

the thing about her laugh is TRUE i'm pretty sure i saw a video on it. except i don't think it's mus.smile edited, it's the little bleepy sound gaster makes when he disappears in the mystery man room. i'm pretty sure.

and muffet's whole thing about the person who hired her to kill frisk having a "sweet smile" and "changing shape" in the shadows... that's always been weird. it's like, yeah, mettaton says he hired "everyone" to kill you, and he has another form, but his ex form's reveal implies that he's never used the form before that battle. it's probably him, but at the same time, hmmm, y'know?

and yeah. the fact that she hasn't shown up yet. she's literally such an iconic character and it's so weird we've never seen her in dr, a bit like papyrus- but he's still implied to be there just behind his door! like you said it COULD be a rights issue but i dunno. i dunno... i have some very VERY half-baked thoughts about how maybe possibly the secret bosses with their soul modes are the ut bosses backwards- jevil/red-asgore/red, spamton/yellow-mettaton/yellow, and that's probably just coincidence but i can't help but wonder if the next secret boss is gonna be female with a purple soul fight. like muffet. i dunno...

Where are three places you’d like to travel? Tbh I always go where I want to travel irl. So I’m going to pick mythical places to go which are for sure: Hogwarts (because it’s a school that’s a castle, how is that NOT 100% fab), Narnia (i’d be able to give them such good fashion tips especially for the snow), and Atlantis (who DOESNT want to see mermaids?!) What’s your go-to drink order? I love to be wined and dined, so duh, wine is a first choice p much always. Also Cosmos. But since it’s winter I also love a good cup of hot cocoa made with MILK (not water), has cinnamon infused, marshmallows properly melted, a NOT stingy amount of whipped cream + sprinkles. Their sandwiches are awesome.  Washington State because there’s some great camping spots. Hawaii.
