Okay i’m home and i’m still shacking but i’m gonna try and write some thoughts about The Death Cure.

All spoilers will be under the cut, but i just a wanna say... I LOVED IT. I loved this movie, it was great, and i know it was very different from the book (which i loved just as much, fyi) but still, even though the plot was different, i loved it. Cause these movies, to me, were all about those amazing characters we all grew to love, and Wes and ALL THE ACTORS, did an amazing job. We were blessed to have such a wonderful cast!!!

Okay so first of all: I CRIED. FUCKING MUCH. Not even in THAT SCENE, i was too shook to cry there, but at the end.

The End. I still can’t believe it’s over. But i think it’s wonderful that the last words we heard were Newt’s words. It melted my heart and ended me. The whole scene, when Minho gives Thomas the necklace, when Thomas realises that there’s something inside. When Thomas realises what is it and have to stop reading cause it’s too much. I FUCKING CRIED LIKE A BABY THERE. I CRIED WATCHING THOMAS CRY. I CRIED HEARING NEWT’S VOICE. I JUST. CRIED. SO. MUCH.

The fact that Newt could have been saved will forever make me sad. Like, forever. When Thomas is with Paige and with a broken voice asks if he could have saved Newt. I fucking diED.

The Scene. THE SCENE. It was different from the book, like, completely different. But it’s okay. I’m not saying i loved it cause... you know what i mean? You can’t love a scene like that. But it was SO WELL DONE. Thomas and Dylan have been SPECTACULAR throughout the whole movie but THAT. SCENE. They deserve all the awards. Seriously, GIVE THEM AWARDS CAUSE THEY DESERVE THEM. It was so fucking intense my heart was literally escaping my chest. And the way Newt says “please Tommy, please” when he hands him the necklace. I FUCKING DIED OVER THERE. THAT SCENE ENDED ME.

Also.... Newt’s last words were “Tommy”........ how am i supposed to ever recover from this?!?!?!?!?! I’m gonna need therapy here’s how........ i’ll never be okay again, NEVER

He loved Thomas. so. much. SO MUCH

And yeah i loved every little bit of newtmas in this movie

But even though i love them so freaking much there’s something i loved even more

THOMINEWT. They love each others SO. FREAKING. MUCH. The expression they made when they met again? When Minho realised he wasn’t hallucinating, that they were actually there??? For him????? AND WHEN THEY HUGGED??????

I loved every interaction between them. Every newt/minho (when newt thanked him??????????????????????? </////3) and every thomas/minho (that hug at the end ahhhh </////3) and every thominewt. They deserved to be happy, all of them, together, and it breaks my heart, when Minho and Thomas are in paradise but Newt is. not. there. </3

Also i was very happy about the fact that in the movie Minho knows. That Minho and Thomas can help each other heal, together.

And when Minho carved Newt’s name????? I WAS CRYING SO BADLY. And when Thomas carved Teresa’s?????? :’’’’’’(

And yeah let’s talk about Teresa. KAYA IS A GODDESS. I LOVE HER SO MUCH, SHE PORTRAYED HER PERFECTLY. And she did NOT deserve that end, no no no no NO!!!!!! The scenes with Janson??? I was so freaking anguished the whole. time. I loved her so much and now i’m crying again........ also the thomesa scenes broke my heart. so. freaking. much.

And MINHO. MINHO DESERVES ALL THE LOVE. AND KI HONG AS WELL. My heart broke into a million pieces when they tortured him. But gods did i LOVE when he escaped. And when he saved thomas and newt’s ass with that guard.

And when they JUMPED??????? The “bloody inspired” scene is one of my faves, for sure :’)

And then let’s talk about the secondary characters cause honestly??? THEY ROCKED THE MOVIE.

Frypan. He has a lot more scenes and I LOVED ALL OF THEM. He was such a badass, all the time. And in paradise, when he asks who wants food (or something like that). SO PURE.

And Brenda. I have to admit i was kind of neutral towards here in tst but in this movie????? I LOVED HER SO MUCH. She’s been so badass and good and nice and just wonderful. My heart can’t handle this. Also her and Fry? AMAZING

And, of course Gally. King of dramatic entrances. I think he secretly loved to see everyone’s reaction in finding out he was alive. I LOVED HIM SO MUCH AND WILL POUTLER WAS A-M-A-Z-I-N-G

And then of course Jorge too. I love him. And i love his love for Brenda and the kids. And when Brenda was driving and laughing maniacally??? Like father like daughter tbh

And then also the others, even though they didn’t have much screen time, i love them as well: Aris, Harriet, Sonya <33

And i loved all the action scenes, everything was so well done and never boring, so fast and action-packed but still able to explore the character’s depth

I know i’ve written a lot of rambling but i really needed to get this out of my system. I still can’t believe that it’s over and i’m gonna need a lot of time to recover from this but i really really needed to talk about my feelings or i would have exploded.

Anyway, i love Newt with all my heart. Thomas Brodie-Sangster did an amazing job with his character, especially in this movie. Everyone did. But you know i love Newt so much and, despite what happened, despite the fact that he #DeservedSoMuchBetter, i feel blessed that we had tbs portraying him so perfectly :’)

And that’s all, for now at least. I doubt someone will reach the end of this very long and pointless rambling but still.... FEEL FREE TO COME AND TALK WITH ME ABOUT THIS MOVIE AND THE WHOLE TMR SAGA AND THE CHARACTERS AND THE SHIPS ANYTIME <33
