before i log off, i present to you all an idea that has plagued me for a considerable amount of time.

imagine doing kaiser's eyeliner.

you don't know how you got here, practice was supposed to be starting in five or so minutes, kaiser is meant to be warming up on the field, you're meant to be checking if all the players were here, yet you both find yourselves in this ridiculous situation.

standing in between his legs as he perches himself on the training ground's bench, you've got a hand on his face as you masterfully wield the red liner in between your fingers. you're a little nervous, admittedly, but you're not letting it show, the quiver of your hand subtle to the outside eye as your eyebrows furrow in concentration subconsciously.

he asked you to do his eyeliner for him- a very intimidating and big ask. especially because this recognisable feature of his (amongst many) is always done meticulously, perfected as part of his daily routine.

so the tremble of your hands and breath is understandable because you don't want to fail and leave a bad impression with him.

you were also being silent because you were impressed by how pigmented this red eyeliner was. where did he get it from? it's really vibrant. maybe you should get one too. flows out very easily too.

however, you were too caught up in your thoughts to realise your proximity. kaiser, on the other hand, was quietly revelling in it as he sits still; the most sensible he's acted in a long time as he soaks up your closeness.

you don't see the small smile of satisfaction that threatens to stretch along his face, resulting directly from this moment of bliss.

"there," you say, finally stepping back to admire your handiwork. you did a pretty good job, even added the under-eye detail that he likes.

reviewing himself in his front camera, kaiser hums in approval before standing up to his full height, shutting off his phone and walking towards you. you hand him the cap.

"good job, pretty. at least i can trust you to do my eyeliner," he mutters, holding his hand out expectantly. you hand him the product, unsuspecting and caught off guard when kaiser suddenly grabs you by the arm.

then, to your horror (and delight), he begins scribbling something on your skin, the pigmented product effortlessly bleeding out to leave his mark behind. when kaiser pulls away, he stares contently at his signature before capping the eyeliner.

"that's the best i've ever written it. you should be honoured."

you then usher him onto the field, basically punching him with each step before scrambling away to find something to erase his handiwork with.

Part two of Emmie rambles about Blue Lock chapters

HES STILL THERE!!!

I think that Kunigami is definitely different after Wild Card, but that his original personality is there, hiding below the exterior that he currently has

I might to a whole ramble post on Kunigami himself and how I feel about the WC cyborg persona, but I like this small slip in the front that we got to see this chapter

Just the smallest itty bitty sliver of a break in the armour to the Kunigami that we all knew from the first and second selection

I have way too many thought about Kunigami and WC that I need to organize before I can have a coherent ramble about it, but this is what I was thinkin while reading the chapter

I may like Shidou, but I’m still so pissed off that because of him, Kunigami had to go through Wild Card and lose himself in the process

And for Shidou to have the nerve to not even remember Kunigami at first?

Smh, he deserves all the shit that’s been talked to him these past few chapters

I wanna kick him in the face lmao

Ugh, I can’t wait for the next chapter, I need to see these three pop off against their respective rivals of the game

Except, I don’t want Isagi to win

He beat Rin the last time, in the U-20 game, and took away the chance he had to earn Sae’s respect (even though I doubt Sae would’ve given it to Rin, Rin still thinks that he would’ve gotten the respect)

So yeah, Rin deserves to beat Isagi this match, he deserves his petty revenge too

What I want in the next coming chapters is for Hiori to figure out how Charles operates, Kunigami to score against Shidou, and for Rin to absolutely destroy Isagi

We’ll see how many of my desires are met, but this has been Emmie rambling about stuff

has anyone ever discussed braiding kaiser's hair???

he's got a mullet so there must be some strands of hair that are long enough to braid, so you kinda just do it absentmindedly one night, tying it together with a mini elastic band. when you try to take it out, kaiser's suddenly very defensive about it, wanting to keep it in for as long as possible.

it's almost adorable how dedicated he is to keeping it in, even going to sleep that night with it on. it's only a small plait, noticeable, but not dramatic.

he then asks you to re-plait it the next day, wearing it off to practice. he asks you to do this, again and again.

now before a match, kaiser demands it so that you go with him to the locker rooms to a) give him his good-luck kiss (not that he needs it), and to b) redo the little plait. if you're not there or you don't make it in time, he will absolutely storm up to you in the stands and make a whole ordeal out of it. moral of the story, just tag along everywhere with him before a game to avoid another fiasco.

justa buncha punch out headcanons from the top of my head

cuz why not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i said i was gonna ramble here and by gosh i will. also guess who my favorites are (very hard!!1!)

- Everyone in the WBVA has picked up at least a little bit of every other boxers' language. From just a words to a few sentances, some of boxers could even help translate for their peers.

- In addition, Little Mac is now unintentionally passing his high school French class with flying colors.

- Also in addition, Aran can now swear in at least four different languages (that we know of, if anything he know at least double that)

- Three of the boxers from overseas actually decided to stay somewhere in or near NYC. Joe and Kaiser are probably the biggest examples for this; Joe has voewed to stay until he can win match (...cough) and Kaiser's there mostly on account of him being a boxing teacher and whatnot. The only other boxer is Aran who lives somewhere in New Jersey.

- Despite it being his brand, the worst of Aran is really in the ring. Physically, at least. He's still an agent of chaos and loves starting fights in gyms and bars.

- Disco and Mac actually briefly attended the same public high school; Mac entered the scene right around the time Disco was a junior or senior.

- Remember the jokes from the Punch-Out Infractions video that the Minor Circuit ring was from a rundown building that had bingo on weekends? Yeah its literally just that. They also have a theater club every Thursday. Tho because of this there's also of storage supply closets that lots of memorabilia, including those from other and past boxing leagues.

- Most of the circuits all have things they do together sometimes to a certain extent. Minor Circuit is closest since they're all mostly local so it's not uncommon for them to all be at the aforementioned building in their spare time. (Sometimes Doc and even Mac put up with whatever antics they have that day.) Major Circuit, albiet not as close, still try to set up dinners to nice restaurants and stuff if they're all in town. Unfortunately, none of this really applies to World Circuit as they're all just occupied with being huge boxers (which it was they should do but c'mon that's no fun.) Aran has actually tried to get everyone together but on account that it's Aran its usually for dumb crap it never really works out.

- On a more positive note, Mac actually has a lot of retro merchandise for the WBVA. T-shirts, buttons, figurines, etc if he sees it for sale somewhere he will buy it.
