small moments like this really capture the innocence of Heartstopper. That feeling of sneaking a look at your crush when they’re not looking and the absolute panic you feel when they are. That rush when you’re close to them, the butterflies, the small glances, the nervous fidgeting!!! I love watching them fall in love for the first time ever

Dumpster files: Deccie omnoms on garrett because her dad finds it amusing, Vincent is weird.
The silver scythe flew through the air on its own and latched onto the tree branch as December's body flew from the strike she'd taken, Grasping the handle to catch herself and break her fall and using her own momentum to fling herself back at the monster with her weapon in hand.
"Thanks, Raquelle. " She commented briefly to the scythe that simply gleamed in response as she ran across the ground after she landed. Her vampirism was purer than most resulting in a few advantages. Speed, resilience and she could see so much more than most... Intella had a spiffy intelligent name for it - a trait that had been lost in the last few centuries. She could see people's veins and bloodlines through the flesh and hear the beating of the hearts around her. It was what made her such a good fighter. She knew where to hit and she knew how many people were around her at any time from the heartbeats.
The beast she was fighting also had a spiffy long-ass name that Paimon and Intella would refer to it as but she didn't really care - It was dangerous and needed to die. Perhaps that's why she got along with Rikku so well... At least, compared to most. A demonic monster that had no intelligence aside from 'kill eat flesh' sort of things.
She'd already injured it, It just needed one more good blow and she had it lined up as she jumped up and sliced her scythe into it's back but as she did so the spikes in it's back shot out back at her, several hitting her and a few shards off them as well. The pain and burning that surged through her body let her know what it was without looking - She'd assumed it was just bone but she was clearly wrong as she glimpsed the rainbow effect in one of the shards as she fell to the ground and trembled.
Raquelle instantly coming from the scythe as she knelt down beside her friend and owner and gently touched her back - It was clear her wounds were bad but December wasn't going to let it show as she slowly pulled herself back upright, Two of the larger spikes visibly embedded in her stomach as she forced herself to pull her cellphone from her pocket before her knees buckled again and Raquelle caught the phone as she already knew what she was going to do.  She'd already let Asher know where she was and he wasn't far... So Raquelle basically told him to hurry up.
---
December's stubborn nature let her pull herself together when they reached the hospital as she didn't want to draw a lot of attention. Raquelle lingering outside with the scythe she was bound to as Asher walked her into the hospital. He knew where she was heading since helping Charlie and helped her towards the elevator to the basement. Her heavy jacket hiding her wounds but several drips of her blood left a trail behind her and Asher that was noticed fairly quickly.
Garrett hadn't even noticed the woman as she walked in until he saw the blood on the white floor that left a trail his eyes followed, catching a glimpse of her as she disappeared into the elevator and he found himself completely struck by her - It wasn't just that she was beautiful - granted, she was. It was something else entirely that almost entranced him to go find out what was happening and who she was. Taking the stairs as he rounded the corner to head down to Vincent's 'secret hospital'.
She made it to the examination table and collapsed onto it and instantly passed out from a mixture of blood loss and pain. Beyond the elevator sound and the footsteps, the loud bang of her body hitting the table was what made Vincent look up from the book he was invested in. His eyes glancing over dully at Asher who was saying something - concern and human emotions that he'd forgotten a long time ago as he turned his attention to December as he recognized the scent of her blood as soon as it hit him and quietly walked over, adjusting her.  "Well. That's rather unfortunate... "
He quietly made a hand gesture as he shoo'd asher out of the way and reached for a pair of scissors to get her blouse out of the way.  The swinging of the door catching his ear as he glanced up to see Garrett curiously entering and his eyes focused on the woman. The vaguest thing resembling a grin on Vincent's lips as he looked at Garrett before focusing on cutting the sleeves and the middle of her blouse to get it out of the way without moving her too much.  "Vampire, adamantium spikes." He stated calmly as he adjusted his glasses and skimmed across the bottles on his shelf.
"Adamantium? Shouldn't she already be dead...?"  Garrett was still learning but from what he'd learned from Vincent and the bodies he'd seen he'd found that for most Vampires a wound that severe would've already killed them.
"You have been paying attention. The answer is, yes. Why do you think she's not already?"
Vincent asked as he poured a liquid over the wounds to neutralize the metal. Garrett thought for a moment as he watched and glanced back at the woman's face. "You said something before about purebred - Is she like that?"
He nodded and motioned to Garrett to hold her and he quietly obeyed as he gently placed his hands on her just to help keep her from moving as he figured Vincent was getting ready to pull the spikes out.  His fingers gently brushing against her arm led to an instant shiver running through his entire body. - It felt like it'd happened before. Like a memory...   His thought process broken as Vincent grasped the spike and ripped it out. The woman's body tensing and twisting in pain for a moment but within seconds as the spike was removed the wound began to fill in slowly and another dowse of the liquid seemed to result in it fully healing the rest of the way.
He repeated this for the other one and slowly began to pick any smaller shards from her torso, arm, and face.
Vincent's usual quirky and unpredictable nature that Garrett had sadly gotten used to kicked in as he reached over and grabbed his wrist using his scalpel to nick Garret's wrist before guiding it to December's lips.
Obviously, Asher was just as viable as a candidate and he had probably 200 bags of blood in a fridge but he knew this would be more amusing in the long run. Garrett flinched but it was so fast that he didn't get to really protest, His eyes a little widened as he looked at Vincent. "Is it really okay for her to drink from me?" He said in regards to the werewolf thing but his question didn't get answered as the minute his blood touched her tongue December's eyes shot open and she sat up in a smooth motion. Her fingers clutching the hand delicately that fed her -
For a moment she thought it was a dream - She wasn't Paimon. It didn't seem to matter how many years she looked she didn't get to have the love of her life come back to her... but as soon as her vision focused her breath caught in her throat - Her tear stung eyes focused on Garrett intently as she stammered and stuttered. "I-It's you.."

my writing is garbage I’m going to go die now... on the inside
