I’m sorry, but the writing for the fight with the Thieves Guild was absolutely abysmal. Just another poorly paced battle. Also, Mal and MC just calmly discuss Mal’s value to the team and the world while Wren’s literally fighting for her life? Did they forget that it was only them three? They’re trying to convince us that the Thieves Guild will be formidable allies in the battle against the Ash Empire, but people can literally just stop and have full on conversations while facing them no problem?? As much as this was supposed to be Mal’s book and for all of the emotional weight his issues are supposed to carry, I feel like said issues are being treated so unseriously fr

          sana didn’t like many things, it was a part of her picky personality. people often had to prove themselves to her before they could demand even a semblance of approval from her. it was always the same thing: she’s too careless; he’s very reckless; she’s not loyal; he doesn’t know what respect means or something that fell in very close to that excuse. but for some reason, when sana was with alina, it was different.

             sana liked things like the simplest of things: the suns, the stars, the clouds floating aimlessly in the blue sky above. it was almost like she’d been noticing things she’d never had the time to before, and that scared her in equal parts as it excited her. sana had unknowingly given alina the power to see her naked of all the societal perceptions without knowing what she’d do with that knowledge; she had given her the secret to make or break her and taken a risk in trusting alina to keep it safe.

             she was scared, she didn’t want to be let down. she was found, and she didn’t want to let go.

    𝕥𝕣𝕒𝕚𝕥𝕤: confident, witty and engaging if you keep her attention for long enough. sometimes insecure and uses sharp words when she is angry with the intention of hurting the person listening.
