I know I say this every year but that’s cuz it’s totally true... Biggest benefit of being a teach is having a ton of days off. Summer break is here, so your boy is free to travel and visit family and friends and all that... wooo. Plus it gives me some time to think about this job offer I got from a school in New York. It’s a great offer but also it means moving to a super big city and most of all; having to leave my closest friends and as I like to call them ‘my kids’ behind... So tons to think about.

13 years ago, my life changed forever. No matter how long it has been, I will forever have that moment in my mind. I wish things had been different but... I guess sometimes the universe has different plans, huh? I’ve been away from Tumblr because I just finished Supergirl. Another circle has come to an end. I’ve been in NY, spending time with my wife and Moriah. But today is a rather complicated day so, decided to come here and see how you are all doing.

Closing night is in just a couple of days, and I never quite know how to feel about them. It's always such a bittersweet feeling. While I'm definitely going to miss putting on that leather jacket and being on stage every night, I also can't wait to be able to spend more time with Kurt and Audrey and allow myself to just relax and do nothing for a little while.

Although doing nothing probably won't last very long, as I'm planning on working on some new music (and a top-secret musical mystery project). I have a feeling I won't be doing much writing on those first few days, though, as Audrey has already told me what she wants to do the day after closing night: a tea party, followed by a dance party and a painting session, probably with a whole lot of dressing up in between. I honestly can't wait.

But enough about me! How is everyone else doing?

July is here (almost), and with it the first of several pop-up performances that I’ll be doing over the course of the month. My first show will be tomorrow at 8pm. I can’t divulge the location just yet (that will be posted to my official site at 7pm), but I can’t wait to see you all there and share this wonderful experience.

You know, for all the reasons I've had weird bruises before, "St Bernard with a giant stick" is a very interesting one. Not that I mind, per se, but I really didn't think he'd hit me that hard. Then again, I think a few of them might be from where I made contact with the ground.

           Today has been one of those days that make you wonder why you even got up in the morning. My AC is busted beyond repair, of course during one of the hottest days of summer. Got a flat tire on the truck. Broke up with Merce . And I somehow managed to lock myself out so currently waiting for a locksmith. Btw; anyone around who doesn’t mind keeping a spare key for me so next time it happens, and believe me it will, I can come collect my spare from you?

            Anyway, enough about me... how are y'all doing?

I can’t believe it is already 2023. 2022 keep me really busy especially the last few months which is why I have been AWOL lately. I’m not claiming 2023 as my year, but I do think some exciting things will happen for me. Hopefully everyone is having a good start to your year so far.
