It wasn’t HIS fault that Taxian-Jun didn’t take his THREAT seriously.
Moments prior, he had warned the other man that if he didn’t stop PESTERING him, that he would BITE him. It was Taxian-Jun who had ignored Xue Yang’s warning and continued to annoy him, even deciding to lean on the desk that the demonic cultivator was trying to write on, INVADING his personal space even further.
Annoyed, he had just decided to follow through with his THREAT since the other man wasn’t listening. Thus, Xue Yang ended up biting Taxian-Jun right on his cheek, though he didn’t BITE nearly hard enough to draw blood.
Though he probably should have.
“I TOLD you to leave me be, find something else to do besides ANNOYING me. If you’re trying to RILE me up for sex, you can forget that. You have a HAND, two in fact, use them.”
His tone was COMPLETELY dismissive, Xue Yang’s eyes returning to the book he had been reading, determined to do what HE wanted to do today. Without any of Taxian-Jun’s interruptions.

It was like all of the festivals had come at once. This place was alive, it buzzed, so much positivity and just, life. It was people trying to make a living but with passion and an energy that she had never encountered before. It was a world away from the market in Border City. It made it look like a funeral in all honesty. So much so, it was almost overwhelming, there were slight variations on dishes she already knew, the long gauntlet of street food, sweet dishes and candy. It was a veritable treasure trove of the local produce and culture, and somehow, it all felt new to her.
What Feng Wu had not been banking on, was a familiar face.
It was welcome though. With the first sparks of her cultivation returning, managing to forge the Phoenix Sword, she had decided to leave. While all she had was the little in the bag on her back full, her skills as a doctor, and her blossoming cultivation, what else did she need? After making sure her mother would be safe, she had walked out into the world, and it had breathed life into her, shedding the hostility of her Clan. Freedom tasted sweet.
“Hey,” the greeting is warm, that bright smile, “fancy seeing you here,” there’s almost a laugh in her voice, but the nearby stall stole her attention for a moment, “oh that looks amazing,” bad manners again, oof. “Anyway, how are you doing?”

“I now have a substantial amount of peppers in my arsenal now thanks to you.” Set a medium sized bag of peppers down in front of the other. They were several plants in a dozen mortal realms each, which made the production of the produce faster to fulfill demand. A trick of his whenever it came to specific vegetables most valued in certain mortal realms.

Taxian-Jun ( @ashbound ) whispered: “Yes. i killed them— but i did it for you.”
♢ - Other people would’ve been HORRIFIED if they were GREETED with the sight of bloody corpses, for Xue Yang, however, it was a TREAT. How could he not appreciate it? Taxian-Jun slaughtered those who were HUNTING him down like a dog, simply because HE massacred those who looked down upon him. They were such a hypocritical bunch, one that he WOULDN’T be shedding tears over.
“So sweet,” the delinquent COOED, stepping over the barely recognizable corpses that littered the ground under their own blood until he reached his ONLY love. Arms wrapped around the taller man’s neck instantly, lips finding themselves placing kisses Taxian-Jun’s face. “Thank you, Taxian-Jun. I’ll be SURE to show my... appreciation. Perhaps on a... throne?”
His RADIANT smile began to lift at the corners of HIS mouth at the suggestion, oh it was too good. Xue Yang WAS shameless but how else was he suppose to thank the man who has given him the greatest gift of all?
“I LOVE you so much, you spoil me. This is the most wonderful gift I’ve ever received and I think it’s only fair I give you something you’ll enjoy too. Don’t you think?”
Truthfully, the sight of the corpses themselves weren’t EXCITING Xue Yang, it was the mere power his lover had that ATTRACTED him so. The combination of both POWER and BLOODLUST was enough to excite even the DARKEST parts of him.

♢ - “Does it now?” Xue Yang QUESTIONED, barely giving the other man a glance as he wrapped the blanket around his form even more. The deviant WOULD normally sass Taxian Jun more until he was too annoyed to do so, but today? He was almost too... LAZY to participate in their NORMAL routine of hostility.
“Well, we have a WHOLE house, you CAN find a room to seclude yourself and leave me alone since I’m so TERRIBLE to be with. I’m sure you can find something to... entertain yourself with.” His tone was MOCKING and DISMISSIVE, though it wasn’t as STRONG and SOUR as it usually is. Xue Yang is much more FOCUSED on making himself more comfortable in the bed he shared with his love(s). Shivers still rocked through his body on occasion BUT on the whole, he was quite comfortable. He had decided that today he wouldn’t move from the bed UNLESS he absolutely needed to.
Ah, the only thing that would make his little COCOON better is if Mo Ran was present instead, Xue Yang would’ve been happily snuggled up to him and stealing HIS body heat. Instead, he had to deal with TAXIAN JUN, who usually only SHARED his body heat through sex and Xue Yang was NOT in that kind of mood (not yet).
“Well, go. Shoo, I’m NOT leaving this bed nor any of these blankets, you’re just going to have to ENTERTAIN yourself today. Poor Taxian-Jun.”

♢ - The deviant WASN’T listening the other man talk, he was too invested in his own work which at the moment was writing down notes about a MORBID subject that has fascinated him. It wasn’t often that Xue Yang was nose deep in books and trying to LEARN every possible thing he could BUT today was different and he wasn’t going to waste time with USELESS chatter. So, he’s just blocked out the other completely, letting down his guard which was a mistake he would PAY for.
In a flash, his gaze was being directed towards this Taxian-Jun character, held FIRMLY by his jaw, his attention now solely on the man in front of him. All SNAPPY and SNARKY responses seemed to dissipate from his silver tongue completely in that moment. Eventually though, he FORCED himself to now throw out a response instead of remaining QUIET.
“Yeah? What the HELL do you want?” It was a question that didn’t QUITE hold all the bite he usually had and he despised it, for the other man WOULD surely pick that up. It would be AMUSING to Taxian-Jun, knowing that the usual SPITFIRE seemed to be too shocked to snap as he usually did. Ugh, Xue Yang ALREADY regretted letting his guard down for a SINGLE second.
“I don’t think you’ve FORGOTTEN how to speak, have you? Spit it out already so I can go back to what I was doing.”
So Yang could go back to writing notes and reading as if this entire interaction never happened? Something he wouldn’t able to do now that his mind began to LINGER elsewhere.

Mo Ran Taxian-Jun ( @ashbound ) whispered: “ oh… that… wasn’t a clever choice. ” (Dark sentences 1/?)
♢ - Something was TERRIBLY wrong here, this wasn’t his Mo Ran, this was SOMEONE entirely different. His appearance remained the same BUT the attitude and mannerisms belonged to someone else entirely. Mo Ran was full of WARMTH, LOVE and matched his SARCASM perfectly but this entity seemed to be the complete opposite of that.
It prompted to the deviant to draw Jiangzai and point it at the other man in front of him, it wasn’t a clever choice, but at the moment Xue Yang didn’t know what else to do. His sword was the only defense he really had and FUCK, he wouldn’t even be able to use it IF anything were to happen.
Yang racked his brain for a split second, thinking if he could come up with ANY possible explanation yet he came up empty. It was decided that for now, he was going to keep his DISTANCE while keeping a close eye on this... STRANGER.
“Perhaps it isn’t the most CLEVER way of keeping you away from me, but it'll suffice for the time being.”
His tone was ICY and VENOMOUS, his silver eyes observing the other’s features that seemed so FAMILIAR yet so WRONG. A smile cut through his features, but it was RAZOR SHARP and NONE too welcoming.
“Let’s cut straight to the chase, who are you, hm?”

“You could’ve asked, you know.” Snatched one of the radishes from the other, looking him straight in the eye as he took a bite. No one said Chun Chun would play fair if he didn’t plan on doing it either. Over radishes for that matter, the perfect opportunity to do as he damn well wished. Because what was he going to do?
