I left this in the comment section of TMOM episode 12 and I think it's worth posting here because I think it's something worth talking about and I wanna hear what other people think:

Two little details I noticed in this episode. First how Sonic says "Give me your power," as opposed to how Shadow said "Lend me your power" [in episode 9]. Possibly this implies that there was some kind of consent involved when Shadow used Sonic and Silver's powers, a consent that wasn't there at all when Sonic used the same technique. Second, Shadow saying "I reject you," resulting in Sonic no longer being able to tap into the others' powers. I wonder if this is the real reason Sonic has been cut off from them in Issue 13. In that issue, Shadow theorizes that they've been cut off from Sonic because of his tainted powers, but if that were true, wouldn't Sonic not have been able to take their powers at all? I think the real reason is that Shadow accidentally severed their connection in saying those words. He's going to have to restore their bond in order to reconnect the three of them, I think.

And I wanna add that I think this view still works, even when you consider the fact that Shadow's ball of hope was able to find Sonic. Like Shadow said, the ball was able to find Sonic and Silver back when their powers were dormant and mostly unavailable to all of them. I think the connection the three have largely started developing only after they met. So if the ball of hope could find them then, when they had barely any connection, it checks out that it still works now, when their connection has been severed.

One more quick thought about TMOM:

All this time, I've been trying to figure out who Zielo's apprentice was before the fall. Chaos was Heephis' apprentice. Sol was Celios' apprentice. So who was Zielo's?

I was making all sorts of crazy theories about how it was Jules and he was secretly a Demi God. (I was trying to come up with a reason he was able to use Sonic's god powers because I didn't believe Bernie's explanation.)

And then today, I realized. Oh. It was probably whoever Perfect Chaos was before she got turned into a Bloodthroat. Or Mogul. But I think it was Bloodthroat Perfect Chaos because that is so ironic it hurts.

Gigi . . . I am so sorry. I felt on the verge of tears during this whole video, not just because of the series ending, but because of what happened to you. I won't try to tell you that I understand exactly what you're going through, but I can relate on some level. Losing someone you love really hurts. It changes you. It feels like nothing will ever be the same ever again. I get it. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for sharing this with us at all. And thank you for TMOM. I haven't been here from the beginning. I'm really new to this wonderful fancomic, but I fell in love. I was there, Halloween 2022, watching the premiere of 15 part 1 and I had a blast. I've had so much fun watching and rewatching the dubs, making theories and everything else. But I've always been aware that this series wasn't the only thing you had going on in your life. I completely understand your decision. Sometimes we have to move on, even when it hurts. Thank you so much for being willing to give us closure to the story in some form. I know it's a long shot, but if you ever decide to come back, no matter how long it takes, if it ever happens at all, we'll welcome you back with open arms. I don't know if that'll ever be an option for you. I won't pressure you to come back if you don't want to. If it's too painful. I understand. But just know that if by any slim chance of fate you want to pick this back up again in the future, we'll be here. Again, no pressure. I can't make you come back and I won't try. But we'll always support you. Again, thank you so, so much for TMOM. I wish you all the best going forward. I hope you can find happiness again. I'll be sending prayers for you. Imma be honest, we need to get more people into TMOM this comic is literally the embodiment of "what if we make a sonic Madoka Magica AU but add God stuff and a mix of dreamtale?"

I kid you not, I am this close 🤏🏻 to write an entire essay and/or theory on why TMOM is like the best Sonic AU [in my opinion]
