Out of curiosity, what's Takahara's least favorite thing about Delinquent culture.
The whole fashion aspect of it. He just DESPISES it. And here to explain why is Takahara himself! Take it away!
–
“Ok, let’s get this shit out of the way before I go and run my mouth and piss someone off: This is MY opinion. MY opinion might differ from YOUR opinion. If you don’t like MY opinion, that’s perfectly fine. But if my opinion pisses you off and you want to fight about it, come at me. I fucking dare you.”
“Right, now what was I goin’ on about? Oh right, whole fashion bullshit about Yankii culture. It’s fuckin’ garbage.”
“Y’wanna know why it’s garbage? Because nowadays, Delinquents think that having an outfit that’s ‘dope’, ‘fresh’, or ‘Swaggy’ -Egh, that word makes me sick…-, is more important than, y’know, being strong and shit.”
“Now I used to be in the same boat as these Louts back in the day. I prided myself on my sick Pompadour (which I miss a lot…), my expensive custom embroidered gakuran, and my 30000¥ Gucci Loathers. Hell, if some guy even stepped on, or even lightly scuffed my shoes back then, I’d punch him right in the face!”
“And boy, lemme tell ya’ something: I was a FUCKING IDIOT back then. See, after the whole ‘Accident’, my views on somethings changed. One of them being priorities on my being a Delinquent.”
“Having seen the ugly thing I became, being handsome and all that shit became the least important thing to me. Being strong, however, became my #1 priority…Revenge too, but that’s a story for another time~.”
“I also realized what being true Delinquent was about. It’s about honor. It’s about toughness. It’s about beating the shit out of some shiteater who was talkin’ shit about your school, or beating em’ up because they put one of your men in a hospital.”
“But of course, it’s not like I would have been able to put that knowledge to use, what with me being ‘dead’ and all…But yeah, that’s my take on things. Again, this is all MY opinion. It’s cool if you disagree with me.”
“But if you’re really THAT offended by what I have to say, then meet me out back for an ass kicking. I’ll make sure to break your vocal chords and fingers so I don’t have to hear/read you whine about someone having an opinion on the internet that you don’t like~”

Burnt-out Bōsōzoku: Takahara Ichizoku (高原一族)
Name: Takahara Ichizoku
Age: 21 Years
DOB: May 20th, 1994
Race/Species: Human
Height: 8’1”
Likes: Fighting, Fist Fights, Motorcycles, Mochi, Pompadours, Empty Highways to Bike down, Sukebans, his mother, Fire
Dislikes: Shabazos (Cowardly delinquents), People who pick on the weak, Delinquents who cause trouble for the fun of it, Car/Bike crashes, Ugly Car/Bike mods, Police, the fact that he can't return home to his mother looking the way he does now,
Background: Being a Bōsōzoku (probably) isn't easy...
Protecting your turf, fighting other gangs, dealing with the police, Dying in a giant Chemical Factory fire, only to somehow survive as a (now) skinless mutant, hellbent on extracting revenge against his Rival and their gang...
I should probably explain that last part.
Takahara Ichizoku was the head of a Bōsōzoku gang located in Tokyo, known as '燃焼魂' (lit, 'Burning Souls). He and his men were the fiercest gang in all of Tokyo, and no one could stop them.
BUT, at his final year at school, Takahara was forced to join his class on their final Class Trip, or else he would be expelled. Normally he would have skipped the trip and stay home, but at the request of his mother, he begrudgingly attended.
He hated to admit it, but he was enjoying the time away from his gang. Unfortunately, his trip would be ruined when he bumped into his longtime rival, Tetsu Akita. Upon sighting one another, Tetsu challenged Takahara (as always) to a fight. This didn't surprise Takahara in the slightest.
Time after Time, Tetsu always challenged Takahara to fights or some other form of contest. And time after time again, Tetsu would always lose to Takahara. But this time, the outcome would go in his favor.
Even though he thought he would win, Takahara accepted Tetsu's fight, and met him at the specified battle ground; An abandoned chemical waste facility on the outskirts of town. Takahara didn't expect a thing. Sure, the location was odd, but if anything, it would just be a one-two punch at Tetsu, and he'd be gone.
Oh...Oh, how Takahara was wrong...
As he wandered into the center of the Factory, things began to get....Well...Hot.
By the time he noticed the place was on fire, it was too late. The place began to fall over him, with flames igniting Chemical barrels, causing the already enormous fire to erupt in the night time sky.
Riding away from the fire, Tetsu gave a wicked laugh. Tetsu had finally beaten Takahara....OR SO HE THOUGHT.
In the coming weeks, there were a series of unsolved murders. The victims were all apart of Tetsu's gang. Each of them, murder in order from lowest ranking member to highest ranking member. As the weeks passed, and his numbers shrunk, there was only one left: Tetsu himself.
For a while, he refused to leave his home. He had no idea who could be doing this, or for what reason they killer would have...Eventually, he calmed down and went back outside to the world, only to be found dead in an alley a day later.
But who was the murderer you may ask? Takahara, of course~
Having cornered Tetsu into a dark alley, he revealed himself. Tetsu thought he was hallucinating. He knew he had killed Takahara. He saw the place go up in flames. He heard his screams of pain. Yet here he was. Bigger...Stronger...And definitely meaner.
Grabbing Tetsu by his neck, Takahara’s fingers dug deep into Tetsu’s neck. Injecting him with Takahara’s mutated blood, Tetsu began to wither away.
With his skin melting off, and his youthful looks vanishing, Tetsu literally melted away, turning into nothing more than a puddle of blood, with a skull and arm left intact.
Takahara’s revenge was complete.
Now with his attempted murderer dead, he was left with one purpose in life: To travel the world, and to fight any other challenger he may face!
Good Sweet Jesus Christ this is the worst fucking bio I ever wrote kill me Just kill me.
Personality: Before 'The Accident', he was a more carefree spirit. He was more relaxed, and easy-going. He did have moments where he acted more cocky, especially towards rival gangs.
Post 'Accident', Takahara was changed, not just physically. He became cold and stoic. He was a hallow shell of his former self...But he does have moments where parts of his former personality peeks out. This normally happens around people he can trust, which is often rare seeing how he travels around the world.
Appearance: Before 'The Accident', he was 6'4". He had fair skin, and long black hair formed into a long, sick pompadour~ Physically, he had a slight muscular build, and could easily light anything around 150 pounds.
Post 'Accident', Takahara became 8'1". He lost approximately 95% of his skin, and lost all of his hair (yet his eyebrows remain...). The only remaining pieces of his skin are around his eyes, nose, mouth, and various splotches around his body. In order to hide his less-than-appealing appearance, Takahara bandages himself from head-to-toe, exposing only his eyes to the world.
As for his muscular build, he pretty much became built like a tank. With RAW, Rippling muscle, he became endowed with In-Human strength, being able to lift PRETTY MUCH anything without any trouble.
If you need a reference, think of Raoh from Fist of the North Star.
Outfit wise, he wears a long black and white jacket, with matching pants and little Boso type admonishments on the back.
Abilities: ‘Delinquent Soul’
I’ve been meaning to talk about this for a while.
You ever watch an action anime like Toriko or DBZ or Fist of the North Star, and there’s always some kind of inexplicable fighting power/aura that all the main characters seem to have? Well, this is the Eric World OC-Verse’s equivalent to that.
A ‘Delinquent Soul’ is, as said above, my OC-Verse’s fighting power. One person out of every 100 has one, and it isn’t just given out. It’s earned.
How someone earns it depends. Most of the time, a Soul is given to those who were fired up, fought a lot, and have a good sense of right. Other times, it just comes naturally, without warning.
The effects of a Delinquent Soul range from increased strength, speed, and abilities such as:
-Pyrokinesis:
Takahara can shot, control, and even project a shield of fire around him. He even uses fire in his punches for extra damage.
-Regeneration/Healing Factor:
Self-explanatory. If he gets stabbed, shot at, or anything else, he’ll automatically heal his wounds. However, it IS possible to kill/do permanent damage to Takahara. It just requires ALOT of power and effort.
-Mechanics:
Being a past-Boso, Takahara knows ALOT about how to repair cars and bikes. Bikes especially.
FUN FACTS:
-Whenever Takahara sees someone with a great Pompadour, he always compliments that person, and has a little tear filled breakdown.
-Being a Boso, Takahara rides a Kawasaki W800, with all the little Bōsōzoku customizations you’d expect~ (REF GUIDE COMING LATER)
-Takahara's post 'Accident' character was greatly inspired by 80's Horror-Sci Fi B-Movie, The Toxic Avenger (Chemicals transforming some kid into a super strong beast, goes out for revenge) , and early 90's Superhero film, Darkman (Horribly burnt in a chemical fire, covers himself in bandages, etc.).
-His story is admittedly half-assed, but seeing as he's inspired by the movies mentioned above, it works and I won't have it any other way. Though, I might write little drabbles explaining how he killed Tetsu and his men, one by one. And I might fix a thing or two with the bio itself.
