(Here's a few more to help fill out the brackets!) IDK for sure if he's under 18 but Ben Collins, the youngest sibling from 1X2 "Wendigo" seems like he might be. Another ghost-kid! Peter Sweeney from 1X3 "Dead in the Water" Lily Shoemaker (the younger sister who first summoned Bloody Mary from 1X5) Matt Pike (the son from 1X8 "Bugs") Sari and Richie (maybe as another sibling team-up?) the two kids from 1X9 "Home" (Also! I have to apologize. I just realized while looking these up and cross-referencing with your list, that I made a minor mistake with a previous nomination. Melanie Merchant is from 1X19 not 1X18) But 1X18 (which is actually "Something Wicked") does have Michael (older brother) and Asher (little brother). (Was almost going to go to the trouble of digging up the names of some of the kids from "Everybody Loves a Clown" but on second thought, they all let a f*cking CLOWN into their house! At night! They have NO survival instincts and would probably lose to the Fitzgerald twins! *LOL*) Maybe a stretch, but what about the Young! version of Callie Garrison, from 3X5 "Bedtime Stories"? Since although the young version is a psychic projection, it's essentially how the character was when she was a girl, so a sort of flash-back/memory?
wow! that's a lot of kiddos, thank you :)

Minnesota Twins-Detroit Tigers Series Preview
7.16.21-Charlie Barnes LHP (5-2) 3.88 ERA Vs. Jose Urena RHP (2-8) 6.43 ERA
7.16.21-Kenta Maeda RHP (4-3) 4.66 ERA Vs. TBA
7.17.21-Bailey Ober RHP (1-1) 5.45 ERA Vs. Wily Peralta RHP (2-1) 2.08 ERA
7.18.21-JA Happ LHP (5-4) 5.90 ERA Vs. Casey Mize RHP (5-5) 3.59 ERA
(AAA stats for Barnes)
The Twins At A Glance- The Minnesota Twins won the final four games of the first half to make their (39-50) record look better at the break. The team opens with four games against the Tigers and White Sox on the road to start the second half. Nelson Cruz was the best hitter on the Twins in the first half and deserving of his All-Star nod. He hit .304 with eighteen homers and forty-six RBI’s. There was a week or two stretch in May, where he didn’t play much with a sore hand, so his numbers could be even better. Cruz grounded out to first on the only pitch he saw in the All-Star Game. Mitch Garver and Jake Cave are on rehab assignment with the St. Paul Saints. Garver has taken some good at-bats and Cave hit a home run on Tuesday night. I’m guessing Garver will get a week or two of at-bats and the Twins will use almost all of the twenty-day rehab window on Cave because they would need to clear a 40-man spot for him. Jose Berrios has went at-least five innings or more in fifteen straight starts. Matt Shoemaker accepted his outright assignment to St. Paul and threw three shutout innings on Sunday for the Saints. Hopefully he can get his fastball and splitter combination right. Taylor Rogers didn’t appear in the All-Star Game after getting the call on Monday. He’s lucky that he was at home in Littleton, so he didn’t need to travel much on short notice. He did warm up in the eighth inning, but the game was close, so Kevin Cash stuck with Liam Hendriks for the ninth.
The Tigers At A Glance- The Tigers lost five of their last six games to close out the first half. They are (40-51) and are tied for third place in the division with the Twins. The Tigers are a very young team and have had the first overall pick twice in the last few years. Casey Mize is becoming a better starting pitcher, but look out for Spencer Torkelson and Riley Greene. They figure to be pillars in the lineup for years to come. The Tigers don’t have too many assets to trade at the deadline. Maybe Jonathan Schoop, Robbie Grossman, or Jose Cisnero are options. Schoop has quietly had a strong year with sixteen homers and fifty-two RBI’s. Matt Boyd and Michael Fulmer are certainly starting pitching options, but will the Tigers get back a nice haul for them? The starting rotation has a young feel with guys like Casey Mize, Tarik Skubal, and Matt Manning. Gregory Soto was the lone All-Star representative and gave up a run in an inning of work in the game. The Tigers bullpen hasn’t been that strong as we saw last weekend. The Twins rallied a few times to pick up wins. Overall, the Tigers are still rebuilding and it’ll be interesting to see what they do at the trade deadline.
What To Watch For- The Twins are (7-2) against the Tigers in 2021. The seven wins are the most against one single opponent this year for the Twins. Jose Urena has a 8.59 ERA in two starts against the Twins. Wily Peralta is (1-3) with a 5.18 ERA in eighteen games versus the Twins. Casey Mize owns a 6.89 ERA in four starts against the Twins. Charlie Barnes will be making his Major League debut in the first game on Friday. He has had a good year for the Saints and he features a low-90′s sinker with a very good change-up, slider, and a slow curveball. Kenta Maeda is (2-2) with a 3.86 ERA in six starts against the Tigers. Bailey Ober only went 3 1/3 innings and allowed four runs in his lone start against Detroit. JA Happ is (4-2) with a 4.86 ERA in fourteen games versus the Tigers. Jeimer Candelario has two career homers off Happ. The Twins will look to continue their success against the Tigers this weekend.

Sox Sweep Twins.
Twins 5 White Sox 8 W-Kopech (3-0) L-Alcala (1-3)
The Minnesota Twins have had a tough time with the Chicago White Sox in 2021. They entered today with a (1-7) record against their rivals and looked to turn the tide this afternoon at Guaranteed Rate Field. The White Sox started the scoring in the second inning when Brian Goodwin smoked a Jose Berrios curveball out to right for a solo homer. This put Chicago up early and they added on in the third. Yoan Moncada led-off with a single to right and Jose Abreu lined a base hit to right. The next batter, Yasmani Grandal singled home a run. Andrew Vaughn kept the inning going with a one-out single and Gavin Sheets hit a sacrifice fly to left. This put the Sox up by three runs, but the Twins finally answered in the fourth. Alex Kirilloff started the rally with a lead-off double and Gilberto Celestino singled him home. Andrelton Simmons lined a run-scoring double to left and Jorge Polanco reached on a bunt single. Josh Donaldson hit a sacrifice fly to center to tie the game up at three apiece. Nelson Cruz hit an RBI single to left and the Twins took a 4-3 lead. The Sox got back to work in the bottom of the fifth. Yasmani Grandal hit a slow roller to second base and Jorge Polanco made a bad throw on a tough play. Brian Goodwin followed with a double to center and Andrew Vaughn hit a sacrifice fly to left. This tied the game up at four after five frames. Zack Collins untied the game in the sixth when he blasted a Jorge Alcala fastball out to left-center for a solo homer. Billy Hamilton kept the rally going with a one-out double to left and stole second base. Jose Abreu hit a sac fly to center to put the Sox up by a pair of runs. The Sox kept adding on in the seventh. Brian Goodwin led-off with a walk and Andrew Vaughn reached on a tough error by Josh Donaldson. With one out, Danny Mendick lined a run-scoring single to right-center and the Sox lead grew to three. The next batter, Zack Collins plated a run with a single to center. Chicago had a 8-4 lead after seven innings of play. The Chicago bullpen did the rest as Ryan Burr had a clean eighth and the Twins made some noise in the ninth. Trevor Larnach doubled to left with two outs and reached third on a wild pitch. Ryan Jeffers lined a single to right, which scored a run.
-Final Thoughts- Jose Berrios got knocked around a bit today, but limited the damage. He went five innings and allowed four runs on ten hits with a walk. Jorge Alcala gave up two runs in the sixth, Hansel Robles allowed two more in 1/3 of an inning, and Derek Law got five outs to save the bullpen. Nelson Cruz and Alex Kirilloff led the team with two hits each. The Twins hit 5-for-11 with runners in scoring position and left ten men on base. Matt Shoemaker was DFA’d and will likely get released after an atrocious season. The White Sox are now (8-1) against the Twins this year. After the game, the Twins head to Kansas City for a three-game series. JA Happ faces Brady Singer in Game 1 from Kauffman Stadium tomorrow night.

MLB Bullets rings in the new
And a Happy New Year to everyone and may 2019 bring the Cubs another World Series title. Me, I’m still writing 2017 on my box scores.
I’m also pretty sure that’s the first time I’ve shown a photo from the Australian Baseball League for a piece.
Free agent catcher Jonathan Lucroy has gone to be with the Angels. No, he didn’t die. He signed a one-year, $3.35 million deal with the Los Angeles Angels.
The Blue Jays acquired former Cubs pitcher Clayton Richard from the Padres for minor league outfielder Conor Panas.
The Blue Jays also signed pitcher Matt Shoemaker to one-year deal. Shoemaker had been non-tendered by the Angels.
One free agent is definitely signing this week or he isn’t playing in MLB in 2019. Seibu Lions pitcher Yusei Kikuchi has until January 3 to sign with an MLB team or he’s returning to Japan for 2019. Jason Catania has a look at Kikuchi and the teams most likely to sign him. Not surprisingly, they’re all on the West Coast.
The Brewers and Padres are rumored to be the favorite trade destinations for Yankees pitcher Sonny Gray.
The Diamondbacks are reportedly softening on their stance against trading pitcher Robbie Ray and are now listening to offers for the left-hander.
The Twins signed free agent Nelson Cruz to a one-year, $14 million deal last week. Jonah Keri explains why teams aren’t paying for power on the free agent market anymore and he also wonders if the market hasn’t overcorrected and the Twins got a steal.
Twins pitcher Tyler Duffey got a birthday present when Cruz signed with the Twins. He gave up a 493-foot HR to Cruz in 2016 and Duffey is elated he won’t have to pitch to Cruz in 2019.
The Rays were a team that lost out on Cruz and Mike Axisa looks at six hitters the Rays could go for instead of Cruz.
One of those hitters is Mariners DH Edwin Encarnacion, who isn’t expected to stay in Seattle after being traded there earlier this winter. Jon Paul Morosi reports that the Rays, Astros and White Sox have shown the most interest in trading for Encarnacion. Those three teams are also interested in Cardinals first baseman Jose Martinez.
Athletics outfielder Kyler Murray’s NCAA football career came to an end with the Oklahoma Sooners loss to Alabama. Pete Thamel talks to both baseball and football scouts about Murray’s professional prospects and most observers in both sports think he’ll abandon baseball for the NFL. Basically, they think it will be hard for him to go from playing in front of 85,000 football fans to playing for the Beloit Snappers.
Rian Watt has some memories of the recently-retired Miguel Montero and why his memories of the former Cubs catcher mean so much to him.
Dayn Perry has 50 baseball predictions for 2019.
Mike Petriello has five pitchers who should break out in 2019.
Bryan Hoch lists five things the Yankees have yet to do this winter.
And Ken Gurnick has five things the Dodgers should do before Opening Day.
Todd Zolecki has five things for the Phillies to do. Methinks this was an MLB.com assignment to all their beat writers this week. (And yes, Jordan Bastian has five for the Cubs.)
Jake Mintz looks back at Rick Ankiel’s career, his battles with the yips and his re-inventing himself as a hitter.
If you want to know what really goes on at the Winter Meetings, Corey Brock follows a young man around the Winter Meetings who wants to land a job as a baseball broadcaster. (The Athletic sub. req.)
An 88-year-old Astros fan teared up when his family chipped in for a trip to Spring Training for Christmas.
Pirates pitcher Trevor Williams got mistaken for Bryce Harper by his waiter, so Williams told the waiter that he (Harper) was signing with the Yankees.
And finally, one of the biggest story of the weekend was the skies lighting up in New York after a transformer blew. Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard (aka Thor) assured his teammates that he didn’t do it, but that he was willing to help out if they needed him to.
And tomorrow will be a better day than today, Buster. Happy 2019.
