Yukyohru:

Yuki and Kyo are the perfect enemies to friends to found family. They're gently carted along this path of self-acceptance and healing from their past by Tohru Honda. And they do the same curtesy to her. Even when the series first starts and those 2 dudes cannot stand each other, cannot stand the THOUGHT of empathizing with the other one's experiences - they will still put those differences aside for Tohru! She legit lives in a house with those 2 + Shigure because her parents are dead and gone. But they refuse to let her live alone! Tohru doesn't know them well at all and they invite her to come live with them so she has a home cuz she was legit homeless at the start of the series. They all just live in a house together and love each and are a family! It's perfect :D

Gekkagumi:

they are extremely tragic, and proof that love and family can exist even in an awful situation. they are spies, who have sacrificed so much for one another, and experienced so much pain. despite that, they are still very soft and take care of each other, celebrating traditions such as birthdays and christmas as a family. :))

So there's at least one yukyoru sickfic where Yuki's sick since that's the most frequent in canon and since I'm pretty sure Tohru nearly dies in a landslide or smth from what I've seen of spoilers which I'm hoping will lead to some cute ship scenes at least...

Where's my Kyo sickfics? And him being like NYAA I GOTTA FIGHT I'M FINE and Tohru going into ExtremePanic™ trying to get him to relax and then Yuki just comes along and shoves him down and sticks some food in his mouth and is like lie tf down you moron you're making tohru upset and kyo's like shit and then is a good patient for the rest of the illness (and secretly enjoys tohru being cute and nurse-y) (except bonus: she catches it as well because she's been working too hard and yuki is stuck being the one doing nurse-y things to the both of them and Feels Things ™ and this has got kind of long but yeah)
