Only three months into starting a new regenerative food system, Mida (of @agrinatif) was surprised to find that we were already able to start harvesting. This is just one of 8 squashes found and possibly the smallest one of the bunch. Sure fire way to continue motivating our neighbor 🙌🏾 #growninhaiti #agrinatif #mida #teamwork #joumou #squash #haiti #ayiti #regenerativefoodsystem #regenerativeagriculture #nogmos #nopesticides #noherbicides #soilhealth #abundance #harvest https://www.instagram.com/p/CiNtQWYulz3/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Roses are red, violets are blue, but planting a tree shows you care for more than just us two! 🌳❤️ This Valentine's Day, skip the dead flowers and give a gift that keeps on giving. Planting a tree not only shows your love for your significant other, but also for the planet we all call home. Let's spread some love and help make the world a better place, one tree at a time! Happy Valentine's Day everyone! ❤️🌍 . . Roz wouj, vyolèt yo ble, men plante yon pye bwa montre ou pran swen plis pase jis nou de! 🌳❤️ Jou Valentine sa a, bliye flè ki gentan mouri yo epi bay yon kado ki kontinye bay. Plante yon pye bwa pa sèlman montre lanmou ou pou lòt, men tou pou planèt la nou tout rele lakay nou. Ann pataje lanmou epi ede fè mond lan yon pi bon kote, yon pye bwa alafwa! Bòn fèt Valentine a tout moun! ❤️🌍 . . 📸 @pitterpadder . . #GrownInHaiti #AgriNatif #PlantATree #LoveYourPlanet #ValentinesDay2023 #Haiti #Ayiti #RegenerativeFoodSystems https://www.instagram.com/p/CopUqvCOf68/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Just wanted to introduce our, all Haitian, agroforestry team, @agrinatif! Since our beginning in June, we’ve planted well over 500 trees, started two regenerative food systems and aided many neighbors start their journey to a more sustainable path. Please show your support for Peter, Mida, Sorèl and Ande! They’re doing amazing work and have even started training others in our community. Since we started @growninhaiti, seeing these young men and women flourish is my proudest moment 😁 #growninhaiti #agrinatif #haiti #ayiti #regenerativefoodsystems #agroforestry #teamwork #ayisyenpouayiti #sustainable #abundance #nogmos #nopesticides #noherbicides #nochemicals #organic #soilhealth https://www.instagram.com/p/CiImdALuMjO/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

🌬️🌳 Nature's Power Unleashed! This once mighty tree couldn't withstand the recent gales, snapping at its roots like a twig. Imagine nurturing a tree for years, watching it grow taller and stronger, only to see it toppled by the forces of nature. 💔 Let's take a moment to appreciate the resilience and vulnerability of our planet. 🌍 How would you feel if this were your beloved tree? Share your thoughts below! 👇🌱 . . 🌬️🌳 Pouvwa Lanati Deklannche! Gwo pye bwa sa a pa t 'kapab kenbe ak gwo van ki sot pase an, kase li depi nan rasin tankou yon ti branch. Imajine ou pran swen yon pye bwa pandan plizyè ane, gade li grandi pi wo ak pi fò, epi wè l' tonbe akòz fòs lanati. 💔 Ann pran yon moman pou n' apresye rezistans ak feblès latè nou an. 🌍 Kijan w ta santi si sa a se pye bwa ou renmen an? Pataje panse ou yo pi ba! 👇🌱 . . #GrownInHaiti #AgriNatif #RegenerateHaiti #FallenGiant #NatureUnpredictable #CircleOfLife #PlantLoveGrow #GranPyeBwaTonbe #LanatiEnprediktab #SiklLavi #Haiti #Ayiti https://www.instagram.com/p/Cp0Kurtu_cv/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

We are very excited to share our progress with you. We’ve been so busy planting that we haven’t had time for pictures, but as you can see we’re all about the diversity and abundance 🌱 It’s not only feeding us but also giving back to the earth by enriching it with plant life and allowing it to thrive. We planted cassava to jump start mycelium growth as the roots rot, we planted Guinea grass (Panicun maximum) in rows between the plantains to use as green manure, we added tons of wood and leaves in rows to slow down water runoff and soil erosion, and we added hundreds of food bearing trees that are doing quite well. We haven’t lost one tree since are initial planting in June. We are taking gardening to the next level by creating these regenerative food systems that not only nourish us but also reduce fossil fuel use and carbon emissions, and create a real world example of living in harmony with the earth. Really can’t wait to see how much more this yard flourishes! We need to learn from this and replicate it in every community so that all of our communities can thrive with the abundance of nature ✊🏾🇭🇹 . #growninhaiti #agrinatif #regenerativefoodsystem #syntropicagroforestry #haiti #ayiti #biomass #greenmanure #beyondsustainable #ayisyenpouayiti #abundance #growth #organic #nogmos #nopesticides #noherbicides https://www.instagram.com/p/CibArpwOfB6/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Who would have thought that hot peppers grow well with pink bananas? When you think about it, the world is a pretty amazing place. We have plants that can grow through snow and ice, flowers that bloom in the desert and produce fruit all year long, and even trees that can survive being planted upside down. But what about the relationship between plants? What about the hidden bonds that exist between plants and other organisms? And how do those relationships affect our health? To answer these questions, we need to look beyond just what grows well together in a regenerative food system. We need to look at everything—from soil to air to water—and start asking questions about what grows best together, and why. #growninhaiti #agrinatif #hotppeppers #pinkbananas #haiti #ayiti #regenerativefoodsystem #hayti #peperslovepinkbananas #organic #companionplanting #community #foodsecurity #nurtureyournature #agroforestry https://www.instagram.com/p/CghEdMIu141/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Aye se te yon jounen ranpli ak lanmou ki vreman fèm reprann konfyans nan kapasite pataj ke nou genyen nan mitan nou. @agrinatif ak @growninhaiti pataje de nouvo metod pou rejenere sol la, ajoute yon sere plant pou kreye biomass, pou ajoute koulè sou tè a epi atire polinisatè yo. Nou resevwa diferan plan bannan ak fig. Anpil diferan flè. Lè nou finn plante yo nou pral poste rezilta yo pou kou. We had a glorious day yesterday and the start of the collaboration with @agrinatif and @growninhaiti is really starting on a new level of companionship and « sharing is caring ». Jaden lakou OBEC received multiple plantain amd banana trees to plant for biomass and a multitude of new flower trees to add some colors, more biomass and atteact the polinators. We will post the videos and photos after planting them. #growninhaiti #agrinatif #OBEC (at Cap Rouge, Sud-Est, Haiti) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cf90j3xOrUK/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
