YO re: the situation with aizawa and mic tied back to back, imagine the villain punching aizawa in the ribs or face or something because he was talking back to/sassing their kidnappers, maybe to try and keep the attention off mic? :3c and mic is just going feral he's looking these mother fuckers dead in the eye and spitting curses at them from behind his gag, he's wrenching at his bindings trying desperately to free himself so he can make the villains pay for hurting aizawa, and the only thing that makes him stop is the weak whimper he hears behind him from how he jostles aizawa's wounds. the villains are laughing and jeering at his reaction, taunting present mic. the look he's giving them is absolutely venomous. he won't forget this.

i love this bc i feel like everyone assumes eraser is the dangerous one and he's blindfolded so he won't remember their faces. what they don't know is that actually mic is 100000% more vindictive if you manage to piss him off

my hc for why mic is out of costume but oboro isn't: mic was freaking out so bad about aizawa being kidnapped he got benched bc he wouldn't make good decisions but in typical mic fashion he went vigilante mode to try and find and help aizawa. mic's probably going to get a stern talking to later but "thats fine yo! as long as our grumpy sho-chan is safe y'dig?"

NO!!! but even in the heat of battle he’s still thinking about how to make sure aizawa comes out as unscathed as possible and that he doesn’t get hurt more by mic a a a a a a

YES you see the vision. mic holding his headphones tight on aizawa's ears and then dragging him in close the moment he's freed (especially if this is the pre-relationship stage where mic is hyperfocused on battle but aizawa's a little shaken an maybe he has a weak moment where his breath catches at how mic's arm comes around his waist to get him to a safe distance where he can catch his breath and recover, and aizawa can tell that even with how utilitarian the movement is, mic's still holding onto him tighter than he would anyone else)

(and of course once he's bandaged up and checked for serious injuries then shirakumo is permanently right in the corner of his eye going :3ccccccccccc)

100% the funniest version of this is if aizawa does not communicate what he's so insistent on going back for. and mic just has to be like "where am i going?" and hope it'll be clear once he gets there what was so important.

and aizawa on the verge of passing out just barely manages to get the directions out while squinting through his stubborn mania that's keeping him upright. and he insists on staying put until mic gets back, and only when mic returns with eri is he willing to actually leave.

i feel like if it's hizashi and shirakumo they just lay down next to him and he wakes up smooshed and is like i guess this is my life now :| and goes back to sleep.

Mic with apd is so fucking valid bruh he just hears Noise. All day every day. Noise. Music, words, kids, different languages. It's all noise for a few minutes okay give him a minute. He absolutely had a speed quirk kid early in his teaching career who was the bane of his fucking existence, he was great at English but he talked so goddamn fast. He actually had to get his hubbies in there once or twice to translate.

omg i never even sawwww this message i must have opened it and just not absorbed a single word lollll

anyway something about being the voice hero and spending your whole day speaking and entertaining and informing and then hearing every little noise but the words themselves going over your head gives me such big feelings

also mic finding teaching english relaxing bc the kids are sounding out the words phonetically and reading texts he knows so he can listen to each little syllable and be able to communicate with them even when listening to someone talk would be a Nightmare.

also i had a random mental image of like.... okay you know how sharks have that thing where if you tip them so they are floating w their nose facing down they go into a hypnotic state? what if aizawa had some kind of activation thing that made him go instantly asleep and he has like no way of fighting it someone does it and he just passes tf out. he wakes up still drugged from surgery and immediately tries to get up to go to work and mic is like OH NO YOU DONT and rubs his temple or pulls his earlobe or whatever his activation thing is and aizawa just passes out again and he puts him back to bed. unrealistic i know but liSTEN its for the comedy okay 😭

ok no but i genuinely feel like hizashi is normally so permissive to aizawa the moment he puts his foot down aizawa has no recourse. if hizashi lumps him back into bed and gives him a straightforward "absolutely not, go back to sleep", especially, aizawa's just like well my hands are tied and is out like a light

Do you have a story in mind of how Aizawa got kidnapped or why they wanted him? Did he wake up like that or did he fight as they bound him? Did he struggle against his bindings a lot during his captivity? What was he feeling and thinking about this whole time? The people need to know 👀

i always have a million ideas in mind for why aizawa might have gotten kidnapped, my brain churns them out by the dozens.

but i feel like in this instance they probably got him while he was walking home from work. i feel like even in the rooftop agency au the guys all have second jobs - aizawa's being teaching, mic at the radio and shirakumo doing extra rescue work on the side, and later mic and shirakumo have three jobs including teaching and aizawa is like no I'm going to bed. so they'd have somewhat different schedules and i think there could be a moment when aizawa is out and about alone

i also feel like in an au where afo doesn't have a perfected nomu yet and is still interested in erasure there could be a sort of quiet "rumor" that getting erasure could get you a lot of money or power. it couldn't be too official or it would likely be picked up by underground heroes, so it wouldn't be something they necessarily deal with all the time but there could be an unfortunate set of circumstances where aizawa happens to be alone in a situation that's not ideal for him - somewhere enclosed like a bank or store with scared kids where he has to take the fight head on, in full view, and reveal his quirk early, and split his focus to keep others safe, AND he happens to be up against someone physically strong outside their quirk who has heard of this rumor

and in that case if he gets overpowered and taken away, i think he'd first be annoyed he slipped up enough to be overpowered, then relieved the situation is being taken away from civilians, and then he'd be doing the math on how long it will take the others to notice he isn't at home, figure out where he was last and then track him down

i think it wouldnt be until a few hours into being bound and blindfolded that he'd start to notice his mind wandering to wishing he was at home with the cats and how yamada might be handling this, and then he immediately shakes it away. he'd probably attempt to cat nap to stay somewhat coherent but it's difficult even for him with injuries from the fight and being tied up. and though i think he would compartmentalize the shit out of the thought until he's safe, he would NOT enjoy being blindfolded long term, would be constantly jumping at the smallest noises. same with hoping for rescue, he's just very severe with himself like that's not an actionable thought, they either find me or they don't and it should have no influence over my actions.

and yes along the same line of thought he'd absolutely be trying to escape his bindings the whole time. possibly even does but i drew him with an injured foot so maybe he's caught hobbling and crawling out and tied up even tighter. I feel like he'd be so sleep deprived at that point he keeps having to shake himself awake - knows he needs sleep but doesn't want to sleep too deeply to be able to fight back at a moment's notice

also i feel like when he does get rescued he achieves a near perfect zen state upon hearing hizashi's voice bc he's just like any thought i may have in this moment is too dangerous and irrational. all rejected. completely clears his entire brain to avoid having Irresponsible Feelings. maybe that's the expression there, the absolute panicked nothing going on in that man's skull.

funny scenario: mic running to aizawa and sliding onto his knees just like u drew there, except he's wearing his ~*fashionable*~ jeans with the ripped knees and he scrapes his knees in the process. after aizawa is rescued and they are sitting in the ambulance as it drives aizawa to get checked out mic is just like 😭 aw man my knees fuckin hurt yo. and aizawa is just like: i told you those jeans with the holes were illogical. hiding behind his typical attitude to avoid thinking about his feelings.

fhsjjs they absolutely both would do all these things like hizashi would tear the shit out of his knees and aizawa would just be like ah yes good a thing to bitch about. this will save me. and hizashi after having gone insane rescuing aizawa just immediately goes back to goofy little guy mode just like uwu my poor knees :((((( and all is well

(cue aizawa up in the middle of the night haunted by the feelings he felt being held firmly and desperately. the devastating horrors of being loved.)

yoooo adding a feverish delirious Aizawa into the mix just fucking (chefs kiss) the whole situation. it takes them a few days to find him and the villains had just basically dropped Aizawa on the floor of a utility closet, occasionally borderline water boarding the man when they pour water past the gag to keep him hydrated, meanwhile his injuries from the fight have been festering. he's disgustingly sick, trembling and confused and the only things he can think about are how in pain he is and where are his friends why aren't they helping him??? he can barely lift his head, probably couldn't open his eyes even if they weren't blindfolded, and he's just trapped in his own head in absolute terror waiting to be rescued. one of the first things he coherently processes since being taken is hearing Mic's voice again during the exchange and he's instantly calling for him in his confusion.

it also adds more flavour to sick fic scenarios after the fact bc maybe getting ill gives him flashbacks to being kidnapped and he becomes even more miserable and needing to be taken care of post rescue any time he gets really sick. just not letting Mic leave his side despite the fact he keeps reassuring Aizawa that he'll be right back, he's just getting him one of his jelly packs.

also Cloud, an idiot with one brain cell trying to set erasermic up: purposefully catches a bug and coughs on Aizawa to get him sick so Mic has to dote on him. (Mic will absolutely get him for it later)

fdksfj honestly tho tbf they're all the smart friend and the dumb friend. instead of one braincell they juggle they actually have many many braincells but they distribution is constantly in flux. shirakumo would have some devious plans to get erasermic in Romantic Situations but he also can go full idiot boys with either one of them at the drop of a hat

also delirious h/c is always soooooooo difficult for me as a person with moderate common sense bc i'm always like i waaaaant them to snuggle up and gently cradle aizawa and keep a cool cloth on his head while he's blinking at them trying to keep his eyes open (which he always stubbornly does. is the worst guy to try to get to sleep when sick, when his brain isn't working he always defaults to MUST KEEP EYES OPEN JUST IN CASE)

in my heart i know that they gotta take that man to a hospital and get him on antibiotics
