-Me losing it at the "They call themselves Jacks? PLEASE tell me there's one named Jack-off" line from Baldassare.

-"Bro I just realized that Sister Dorothy in this fic was like Travis in the last one for us 💀" (Meaning that we stan them both as great people who are wise and clearly hold more braincells than most of the cast in most circumstances)

-Me seeing that the Garous invited Lizzie to the wedding despite them barely knowing eachother: 😊

Me seeing they also invited DaffyDuck: 😡

-The "Ciel is Alois' professor in College" thing was kind of this weird but funny running joke to me? Like I knew it wasn't problematic in the way that it normally is because Ciel and Alois are the same age sorta, and they got together when they were 14 and classmates in high-school, but yeah it kinda made me and my friend uncomfortable 💀 I was also sure that someone would eventually find out about them and it would be this whole thing but nha, actually, only the idiot student finds out and it's a long time after Ciel stopped being his professor.

-Alois choosing to leave Earl Trancy alive GENUINELY made me anxious. Because I KNEW we were gonna see him again, and people like him I never wanna see again. Was really happy that Alois made him go insane with terror and pain tho 😊

-Me, happy to have reached the mileston of chapter 128 of DLTP: ...I wanna reread DLTD...

My friend: You already wanna re-read the first one?!

Me: I know,  I'm not mentally sane 😭

-Basically I wanted to reread DLTD instead of continuing DLTP not because DLTP was bad, but simply DLTD was much more chill in tone? We joked about the mood swings, sure, but DLTP (at least for a good beginning chunk) mostly went to drama after drama after drama and it was a bit too much angst and anxiety for me (I was also still recovering from a long period of mental health issues, so you can understand my desire to find some stability in funny hijinks). I reread 3 chapters of DLTD and then went back to DLTP. I may have done this a couple of times in the future as well just to refresh my mind a bit before continuing with DLTP during my readtrough I think? Just for the sake of my mental health. A bit of a break before continuing.

-Me: Preston is one of the bad guys now

My friend: !!! Plot twist!!

Me: Okay nvm he's back with the good guys!! And I think the bad guys all died??

My friend: All's well everything that ends with a lot of people dying...

Me: ...And the Big Ben exploding! :)

-Some thoughts I had: HELLSING was fucked up for treating like/calling Preston something they owned once they took him in as an agent (against his will) because he became a bad guy for a (at least at the time) short while. Lizzie also should have spared herself the comment "If you keep going like this, you'll become like him!" when Alois was destroying the Earl Trancy. I may have understood Lizzie and even sided with her in most other situations, but in that moment she was talking with a CSA survivor beating up his abuser. I understand why Alois got angry at her when she talked like that.

Okay. So before I watched Black Butler, I saw people complain how annoying Alois Trancy is and I was pretty confused but accepted it anyway.

Now that I’m into Black Butler I feel ill for seeing all the hate he gets. (It’s understandable but still)

I wish this scarred baby got a proper character arc.
