Can you explain to me what 'What We Do In The Shadows' is about because I've tried to piece it together from the gifs you reblog and I am still Baffled.

Okay okay okay, imma start this by saying how much glee it provokes in me to see that WWDITS leads to confusion if u trying to piece it together with gif cuz that's extremely funny to me

The characters

Guillermo (my fav tbh) : familiar/bodyguard (recent development)

Nadja, Nandor, Laszlo : vampires, traditional sense of the word

Colin : psychic vampire, basically feed off how much psychic damage he can inflict on people around them from what I understand and for Colin his psychic damage is basically boring u

Situation

The vampires are roommates and living in present day world

The show is basically a documentary so there is a group of people constantly filming them and that's what we see (the office style)

The vampires can have what they call a familiar : somebody who takes cares of the stupid daily stuff in life (including providing the virgins for vampire orgies and testing the dildos) IN ECHANGE OF promising to turn say familiar one day and that's Guillermo

Guillermo is Nandor's familiar but tbh he takes care of the whole gang (and he basically is the one person with braincells 80% of the time)

New developments of end of s2 and full of s3 : Guillermo who has been dreaming of becoming a vampire is actually a descendent of Van Helsing (famous vampire killer) and has a certain talent for killing vampires so they kinda promoted him to vampire bodyguard (but again he still mostly do familiar stuff 80% of the time)

Laszlo and Nadja are married and in love and bisexual

Guillermo and Nandor are the slowest slow burn I've ever seen on tv, Guillermo seems to be aware of the attraction but Nandor is a bisexual himbo so he doesn't get it yet (even if I do think he does on some level but u get my point)

Colin Robinson is a baby (literally)

Actually everyone is bisexual in this and also incredibly dumb (this INCLUDES Guillermo I know I just said he had braincells but doesn't mean he isn't stupid)

I could not recommend this show more, like it's in the top 6 of the best shows I've ever watched, it's 90% found family and chaos and the other 10% to me is not something I can describe with words

hi conny!!!! hope ur doing well :-)) I just finished wwdits and I was wondering who u think each characters fav queens are? the crossover is literally the highlight of my year like my two fav shows rn and one of them existing in the other universe is so fuckin great!!!

I'm good, and I'm glad you watched wwdits! what a good question!! I think Guillermo likes pageant drag, he would appreciate the craft and dedication it requires. And I'm imagining he's been watching for a long time so he'd probably like queens from early season like roxxxy andrews but he'd also enjoy the humor of jaida essence hall

Nadja and Laszlo don't have favorite queens, they don't follow the show but if you showed it to them Laszlo would rate the queens based on who he'd fuck (which is all of them) and they would recount an orgy they had two hundred years ago in London with a bunch of drag artists

Nandor would secretly be very into it after Guillermo introduced him, but he'd try to downplay it. He'd be unsuccessful and Guillermo would order him a cheap wig off amazon and get him some drug store makeup. He'd probably love Violet because who doesn't. I think he cares more about the act of drag than the person.

Colin Robinson does not care about drag but he likes going on twitter, announcing that "xyz was robbed" and letting the chaos unfold
