you know s2 of the 100 will always be my favorite season, it was brilliant and the writing was absolutely incredible and I don't think any season will ever top it but saying that, S4 does come close!!! it was exciting and the writing was good and the storyline of trying to save everyone was so good and bellarke actually interacted most of the episodes maybe that's partly why I loved it lol also loved s6 though mostly for bellarke but also the storyline was decent! i understand why some didn't like s5 it wasn't my favorite but I never would've wanted the 100 to be cancelled before s6 because some of those bellarke moments in S5&6 were incredible and 6x10 is one of my favorite episodes and if we hadn't had that episode I would've been so sad!! jroth is a petty pos they wrote a scene where bellarke got together in 6x11 then he changed his mind because he sucks and they did a total 180 and rewrote it ugh anyone that watched the show and didn't think bellarke was leading to endgame was in denial truly!! all the foreshadowing, all the parallels and quotes about love and etc they were supposed to be endgame end of the story! whether you hate them or not it was supposed to be them together!! I got off topic I always do because I'm so upset and angry they weren't endgame but yeah!! I'm actually on the S4 finale in my rewatch and I genuinely did love that season for more than just bellarke but yeah!
also s7 doesn't exist bye lol

Bob and Eliza are doing some sort of online panel and were like yeah we were setting up Bellarke as a romantic pairing as early as season 1 & 2 but then the writers kept pushing back them getting together until it just didn’t happen anymore. Then they said it was supposed to be official around/after season 6, and that it could have happened so naturally after the whole Bellamy not giving up on Clarke thing & the CPR scene, but again they went with a different ending. They said the ending where they ended up together was an early draft but they changed directions on them. They also said that it was weird how none of them could have kids at the end. They thought it would’ve been good to leave humanity with at least a little hope after all they went though. Bob said he hasn’t actually watched season 6 or 7 and Eliza was like yeah we weren’t in season 7 that much 💀 Imagine having your two main characters say that.

Bob said in a panel today that Jason directed him to act in love with Clarke so he doesn’t know why they didn’t just follow through with it. He also said that if they changed their mind and didn’t want them to be endgame they should’ve at least had Bellarke talk about their feelings. Apparently New York Comic Con was when it was already confirmed that Bellarke was going to end up together, but obviously Jrat had other plans down the line. They said Bob really fought for them to be endgame, especially after season 6, but alas 🤷🏻‍♀️
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We knew it. Because it was in the narrative.
There was a bit of gaslighting of the fandom trying to pretend that they weren’t writing this story. That Bob and Eliza weren’t acting it. We SAW it. It was on screen and in the script.
All I can say is they fucked up their story refusing to pull the trigger.
Why is irrelevant, frankly.
It’s worth it to go that twitter account and see all the stuff Bob and Eliza said. There’s a lot in there. And they’re flipping adorable.

I've read some of those "cheating Bellarke" tweets. We know damn well cheating's not their underlying issue. Validation's the name of the game with these people, and it only counts if it's purposed for CL's benefit. If it's aimed at Bellarke, pineapples will do what pineapples inevitably do by reaching for every excuse they can to cheapen it. The most comical of ironies is to accuse Beliza of trying to keep Bellarke fans on the hook to support their careers by telling them what they want to hear without acknowledging it as the exact tactic Jason used on CL stans post-finale. In lieu of awareness, you get a thousand banners cheering "CL endgame," which for anyone with the slightest comprehension skill is categorically untrue. L, the genuine Commander of the 12 clans, is as dead in 7x16 as she's been since 3x07. You won't see them admit the fine print, though.
I haven't said this before, so I'll say it now. I'll concede to a CL endgame when the real L steps on that beach to spend her life with Clarke. I'll capitulate, waving my white flag, if and only if we see nothing less than precisely this. If pineapples think Jason actually did something for them, they can go give him my demands. Let him get to work. Give me a shout when he's finished.
Pineapples deem themselves the arbitrators of what gets to count as valid. For years, they say the cast never supported romantic Bellarke.
(Also factually untrue. I can remember tweets from the early seasons where the cast was open to Bellarke, and I wasn't even in the fandom then. I'm guessing it's when the CL era began that Jason ordered them to hold their tongues. Imagine how much more utopic this fandom might have been if either CL and BE were platonic, or Jason had been forthcoming about his intentions for these three ships instead of crying out, "No spoilers!" Let yourselves get lost in the daydream.)
When its leads are contractually free to do so now, they're evidently scheming and lying to fans, so say the CL fandom. Why? Because Beliza confirmed the pineapples' and other assorted antis' worst nightmare, what they ignored and cherrypicked parts of canon to pretend isn't nor was ever true. This, combined with their rampant bullying demanding compliance with their figments, is what has been so heinous about them for so long.
There's a lot to be angry with Jason for, not the least of which is validating pineapples to secure for his prequel one of the two super-fandoms he had when he knows he's permanently lost the other. Nothing about their behavior over the years is deserving of reward. No more than the conduct of our fandom's bad eggs is. I suppose the chief takeaway is that they weren't rewarded in actuality.
What pineapples got from Jason wasn't an endgame, but just enough clout to be able to claim they won a ship war. And for some of them, the permission to lord their spoils over Bellarke fans is sufficient compensation. They've been unscrupulous with it. Until Bob and Eliza came poking holes in their contented bubbles. It's another round of the same age-old Mission: Seek, Undermine, Destroy. Because if pineapples can't convince themselves and everyone else that they won, what else do they have to show for the four years of harassment and badgering they've put in? An alien cosplayer and six brushed-off, useless words in an interview, that's it. They know it's inadequate. But they need to pretend it's everything, for their sake and our expense.
I'll leave one last note before hopping off my soapbox for today. You gotta love Becho advocates bamboozled by the feasibility of Bellarke endgame while Bellamy was with Echo. For three years, they acted as if the concept of break-ups vanished from the world. You couldn't possibly associate with Becho, a term existing nowhere in human affairs. And it's outrageous of you to try for innovation at great cost to Becho.
I admire their consistency in the face of the wreckage.

So I just finished watching a Youtube compilation of the 100 comic cons and it seems the fans and interviewers are the only ones shipping Bellarke. It's depressing.
In all the interviews Bob Morley basically just says he doesn’t see any romance between Bellamy and Clarke. But how can he say that when a lot of Bellamy’s tender moments with her say otherwise.
Jason Rothenberg also thinks they are just platonic soulmates. So then what is the meaning and purpose of some Bellarke scenes that in my opinion are full of unplatonic subtext? Like Bellamy being affected by Clarke's nearness when he was teaching her how to shoot a rifle;
Tumblr media
Kane noticing Bellamy's reaction when Clarke was crying and telling her mom how much she loved Lexa;
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Bellamy, you're not a fool to believe, by the way.)
Allie/Raven saying to Bellamy, “Clarke’s back for one day and you’re already taking orders. A good, little knight by his queen side. Too bad you were never this devoted to Gina.”; Lexa to Clarke about Bellamy, "but you worry about him more."; and my favorite: when Octavia said to Bellamy in reference to Clarke, "here we go again. Pleading for the life of a traitor...who you love." It must be noted that neither of them denied outright Lexa and Octavia's statements.
And let’s not forget this:
Tumblr media
Just kidding. But click to see the rest of the gifset. I wish something like this really happened.
And also, the way Bellamy and Clarke sometimes touch each other. It's full of longing and tenderness to say the least. Even when one of them is angry. Usually Bellamy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The next gif is my favorite. I can feel the chemistry and the romance. If you're a true Bellarke fan, you know what I mean.
Tumblr media
It’s obvious there is romance between them. Clarke took her time but she's been on the same page with Bellamy since Season 4, but then Praimfaya separated them. She might actually have been attracted to him since season 1, but he was a jerk back then and she fell for Finn instead. And now Bellamy's with Echo.
So can Jason and Eliza and Bob just please acknowledge the truth and for once just say something like, There is attraction, there is love, but they haven't really had the chance to process that, let alone act on it, bc there is always something going on. Either they're busy fighting for their people's lives and their own, or they get separated, or there's someone else.
That would be a better and satisfying answer than the BS they've been saying for the past five years.
Bellarke is slowburn and I love that about them, but Season 5 was supposed to be the last one and they didn't happen. Meaning Jason truly doesn't want them to be together, and Echo would have been Bellamy's endgame. Why can't he see that Bellamy and Clarke are each other's the one, and it's cruel not to let them love each other the way they were meant to. Just look at them.
Tumblr media
Quick recap: In this scene Bellamy is hurting because his sister hates him and he’s unable to forgive himself for all the horrible things he’s done. He tells Clarke he’s so angry at her for leaving but he doesn’t want to feel that way anymore. Clarke tells him she too is trying to forgive herself and that maybe they are both going to get forgiveness someday but they need each other and the only way for them to succeed is together. Clarke then hugs him and he hugs her back.
But we can clearly see his hug also says, i’ve missed you so much when you were away but you’re here now and I can't get close enough, pls don’t leave me again. And hers says, im so sorry for leaving. I've missed you too. I’m home now. It's good to be home.
Imagine what full-on in love with literally a century of pent-up feelings Bellarke hug looks like, which is then followed by an equally powerful kiss. Or the kiss happens first. Either way it would be epic.
THEY NEED TO BE TOGETHER LIKE THEY DESERVE, JASON ROTHENBERG. PLS. DON'T LET THE SHOW END WITH THEM NOT ENDGAME.

Part 1: Hey I’m usually super optimistic about Bellarke and their story, and they make me happy. But then I see stuff about Eliza saying “bellarke shit” and people posting videos of the cast getting annoyed or pissed about bellarke and it makes me so sad. Are we not suppose to like them? It is their story. I guess from my point of view I don’t understand how people don’t see their love and potential. It’d be one of the greatest love stories ever I was a casual viewer and then bellarke turned
Part 2: everything upside down. No two fictional characters have ever made me feel this way. I understand it is different for everyone but I just get sad seeing all the hate, I know lots of people ship them and want them together but I just get scared that maybe I am crazy. Like am I just over exaggerating or not watching the same show? Did I imagine all the subtle clues and outright love story pieces? Sorry I used your ask box as my place to vent my sadness
Hey, I’m sorry for being an absolute shithole when it comes to responding to my asks in the past year. I know this was sent a long time ago but I felt guilty about deleting it. I don’t want you to feel as though you were ignored or that my followers can’t come to me to air their feelings.
I’m not really sure how to give you hope when it comes to Bellarke because I have recently reached a point where I have resolved not to speculate on them becoming canon anymore, and for that I am sorry.
That being said, I don’t actually think the cast hates Bellarke. I think they get irritated being asked about ships so often, especially when said ships don’t even involve their character (I’m talking about fans who ask cast members like Richard and Sachin about Bellarke). I also think that the whole ship war surrounding the CL’s vs BC’s during 2016 (which is still somewhat existent now) really tainted the cast’s perception of shipping in general and a lot of them would be content to steer clear from it entirely.
I have found that Bob and Eliza’s tone towards Bellarke has changed in the past year and they both seem to be a lot more understanding/positive towards BC shippers recently. Sometimes I wonder if it’s because they feel bad for us.
You are absolutely not delusional for seeing the romantic signals between Bellarkers. I would say that - at this point - most of the general audience recognizes those signals too (including reviewers/fans who DON’T like Bellarke at this point). I am pretty damn certain that, at some point in the story, Jason was driving full-steam ahead for a Bellarke endgame. I’m not sure if that has changed in recent times or not, but we’re definitely not crazy for seeing what we’re seeing.
This probably hasn’t done much to comfort you about Bellarke (if you even remember that you sent this ask to begin with) but hopefully it has helped assuage some of your other feelings about the way we, as Bellarkers, are treated/viewed by others.
