the idea that s2 of s&b was better than s3 of the witcher is sooo baffling to me.

#the witcher #shadow and bone #anti sab #!txt: the witcher #!txt: sab #like okay granted i only watched the darkling scenes in s2 #but ohmygodddddd were they so bad #like literally all subtlety and nuance was completely removed from what was there in s1 #meanwhile the writing for s3 of the witcher felt a lot more tighter and cohesive than prev seasons #and all of the characters and rships were given a lot more depth and importance #like unequivocally s3 was better than s2 but personally i think s3 was better than s1 too #also likE barring the toxic gamer bros and the rancid hc stans #the overall reaction i saw to s3 was pretty positive #meanwhile i did not see a single section of the sab fandom that was happy w s2
