Top 5 Five Nights at Freddy’s Animatronics
It would be nice to see and know more about the night security guards along with all the other Freddy Fazbear employees. Unfortunately, it’s understandable why these characters are mostly left mysterious in order for players to experience the franchise’s horror from a first-person perspective. Regardless, the best animatronics will be presented from the first generation game series.
1. Glamrock Freddy
Although he’s clueless, Glamrock Freddy is the first directly good animatronic created in the franchise. He’s from Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach game. Like many of the previous animatronics, Freddy is kind towards children and doesn’t intend on hurting them. At the same time, he’s respectful and obedient towards adults too. Because Freddy only wants to be helpful, he’s number one on this list.

2. The Puppet
It’s too bad the Puppet doesn’t have a cuddly design because he ranks at number two. The Puppet is one of the seven animatronics featured in the Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 game. This is the only animatronic which isn’t necessarily evil. The Puppet does go a little insane later and attacks the security guard, but he is mostly kind and helpful to the poor souls who fell victim to William Afton. This behavior is due to the Puppet being possessed by the soul of Charlotte Emily.

3. Classic Chica
Chica is one of the four original animatronics from the first Five Nights at Freddy’s game. She is one of the best characters because, Chica is a hugger! She’s also the least aggressive towards the security guard out of all the other animatronics. This is especially the case when there’s pizza or some other food around. Plus, Chica’s plushies are adorable!

4. Deadbear
This “animatronic” isn’t canon to the series. In fact, Deadbear isn’t an actual animatronic either, but Deadbear does appears in Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted’s DLC, Curse of Deadbear game. The animatronic made the list because of its Halloween theme. Unfortunately, unlike Freddy becoming Franken Stein’s Monster, the other animatronics were not re-designed into their own creatures. Instead, the remaining animatronics were all simply converted into orange burning robots known as “Jack-O-Lantern” animatronics.

5. Captain Foxy
Again, like Deadbear, this isn’t canon or an actual animatronic. However, Foxy standing in his own ride to greet people technically makes him an animatronic virtually within the in-universe game. It’s also reasonable to say Foxy stepping up his pirate look for the ride implies this is Foxy’s basic way of presenting his Halloween costume. Even though I like how Foxy does his own thing throughout the series, he’s an annoying character to deal with. As a compromise, I chose this version of Foxy because he won’t come with any additional attacks in his ‘Pirate Ride’. Which, he’s also featured in the Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted’s DLC, Curse of Deadbear game.
