Alessia Russo “if Kim asks Kyra did it. Training.
recovery roomII a.russo
"well well if it isn't our little hat trick hero!" you looked up from your phone with a grin, steph getting out of her own car as you pushed up off of the side of yours.
"if it isn't the mighty captain catley! where's your child?" you teased, kyra not having left stephs side basically the entire camp. "oh god i have had the most blissful two days kid, you don't even understand!" steph moaned happily, dean having whisked her away to a spa to help with the jetlag.
"you picked a good one steffy." you smiled, always happy to see how well dean treated her and had treated her for the many years they'd been together.
"your turn next! when are we going out to test my wings?" steph asked with an excited glint in her eyes as the two of you started to wander across the parking lot waving to a few of the girls doing the same.
"oh my god stop that stephanie please." you laughed, face burning bright red at the way the older girl was flapping her arms around like she was a bird. "what? i'm being a wingwoman." steph grinned as you shoved her and the two of you fell into step again.
as far as your teammates both for club and country were concerned, you were in their eyes painfully single.
they went out of their way on team nights out to try and take turns pointing out people from all walks of life they felt would be a good fit for you, or stealing your phone to argue over whose turn it was to swipe away on your dating apps.
and up until a couple of months ago, you appreciated their efforts. as much as what most of the girls perception of your 'type' was, was horrifically wrong.
but that all changed when a certain blonde striker came barreling into your life, knocking the air from your lungs and kicking the cobwebs off your heart, filling you with emotions and feelings that up until then you'd assumed were permanently retired.
but neither you or alessia were oficially 'out' and hadn't ever had any sort of public relationship your entire careers, so with a plaguing fear in the back of both your minds that allowing the public eye into your little bubble would pop it entirely, you'd kept things very much to yourselves.
you'd both made an agreement before international break that you were feeling near ready to tell your family and closest friends at the very least, neither one of you feeling any sort of pressure from the other which was a welcome relief.
but not having seen your girlfriend for going on two weeks now, with you away on camp with the matildas and alessia with the lionesses, you were in an extra chirpy mood.
which is how you found your jaw near aching with how hard you'd been smiling all morning, relishing in catching up with all of your teammates and friends.
but eyes flickering to the doors of the cafeteria every few seconds awaiting your favorites blonde entrance you couldn't contain the butterflies fluttering around in your stomach in anticipation.
"oi! spade cadet, you still with us?" you were snapped back to reality as leah clicked her fingers in your face, humming and trying to tune into their conversation. "sorry, had some weird dreams, slept funny." you were quick to speak, excuse seemingly accepted as no one else prodded you for anything further.
then finally you heard her before you saw her, her boisterously melodic laugh echoing around the cafeteria as she walked in with vic and emily, shoving the shorter dutch girl beside her who hurried away to jump on teyah.
her eyes roamed the room before they locked with yours, sending you a dazzling white smile and a wink before she grabbed a tray and loaded up with breakfast, making a beeline for the spare seat at your table as the girls all greeted her happily.
"hi lessi." you smiled softly, swooning as she repeated the greeting back in the sweet accent you'd grown to adore, her foot brushing up against your calf beneath the table as she pushed you her juice and your eyes lit up, her own heart melting at the sight.
"steph!" you protested as before you could grab the small bottle it was snatched from your path, the older girl cracking it open and downing a large mouthful, pushing you away with her free hand as you reached for it.
"i had to poison check it! i'm just looking out for ya." your national captain grinned finally handing you back the now half empty bottle as you scowled and she only pinched your cheek in response.
"kyra's been a bad influence on you." you huffed with a roll of your eyes, her shoulder bumping into yours before she returned to her conversation with beth.
you looked up as someone gently kicked you, a smile curling onto your face as you and alessia played footsies under the table, careful not to stare too adoringly at one another and engage with your teammates around you.
catching your gaze you saw the blonde subtly nod behind her as she stood, grabbing both her tray and yours as well as leah and beths, a chorus of thank you's sung her way as she made her way out of the cafeteria.
you waited a few minutes before doing the same, lying to steph that you left something in your car and wanted to hurry to grab it before training when she stood to go with you, assuming you were heading to the media room for the mornings debrief.
caught up saying hello to a few more of the girls on your way you eventually made it out and carefully ensuring you weren't being followed or watched ducked away to your usual meeting place with your english striker.
you'd barely stepped into the recovery room before her hands were on you, a laugh leaving your mouth as the door banged shut and she had the audacity to shush you, wolfish grin on her features as she pressed you against the tiled wall.
"me? you made me slam it!" you whisper yelled at her, both of you pulling the other into a tight hug, melting into one anothers touch with content sighs.
"i missed you." alessia mumbled out, peppering a few kisses to your neck before pulling her head back. "we facetimed nearly every night!" you teased, arms wrapping around her neck as the taller girl smiled lovingly down at you.
"no thats where you say 'baby i missed you more'. then we argue for awhile over who really missed the other more, and then i just shut you up with a kiss." alessia beamed as you shook your head, fingers scratching at the base of her neck, fiddling with a few loose baby hairs which had fallen out of the bun at the back of her head.
"can we just skip to that part then?" you teased, puckering your lips and pulling her closer as her body vibrated in amusement but she wasted no time arguing, quickly pressing her mouth against yours.
you exhaled happily at the sensation of kissing her, forever consumed with the euphoric feeling which warmed your body from the tips of your toes right to the end of your nose, your whole body alight.
"babe we have the meeting!" you reminded with a laugh, the words mumbled against her lips as alessia pressed you more firmly into the wall, hands squeezing your hips and using the moment to slip her tongue into your mouth.
"less." you warned, pulling back with a slight gasp as she held your bottom lip captive between her teeth, sucking it back into her mouth as her right hand moved to cup the back of your head so she had a little more control over you continuing to pull away.
right as her feet kicked your own apart, her thigh slotting in between yours and your breath hitched, a few more gentle but sloppy kisses trailed down your collarbone, the door suddenly flew open.
both of you breaking apart alessia wasted no time taking your hand and yanking you around the corner, both of you ducking out of view as your hands covered one anothers mouths and you heard a few members of staff discussing the plans for today, clearly grabbing some extra yoga mats before they departed, both of you exhaling in relief.
"that was way too close. you have no self control russo!" you smacked her chest, the grin still sitting happily on her face as both of your cheeks were flushed red with heat and your eyes rolled.
"we've still got seven minutes to the meeting and it only takes two and a half to walk there from here?" your girlfriend wiggled her eyebrows making you laugh as she pulled you gently into a much softer kiss, hands falling either side of your face as you sighed happily into her mouth.
"okay! we can continue this tonight." you pulled away and poked her, tugging her hands off and pushing for her to start walking. only you really should have taken into consideration that it was alessia you were dealing with, the girl born with two left feet both ten sizes too big for her body apparently.
so though it was a hardly a rough push, it was enough for your girlfriend to consequently trip over her own feet and go sailing toward the ground, reaching out for a shelf to try and steady herself but instead she only succeeded in pulling that down with her.
you stifled your laugh as she shielded her face and the viles of various essential oils and creams they used for massages came sailing down on top of her, somehow not breaking as finally the noise stopped and you both held your breath for a moment that no one would walk in.
when you heard no footsteps you doubled over laughing, the striker sitting up blushing in embarrassment and smacking your ankle, mumbling that it wasn't funny as she stood to her feet with a huff.
"come on clumsy." you shook your head in amusement, grabbing her hand and guiding her toward the door as she pouted clearly feeling very sorry for herself.
only right as you went to exit you both jumped a foot in the air as another one of the shelves came down, apparently attached to the other and this time the various containers which fell did break with an almighty crash and smash.
you and alessia shared a wide eyed glance and booked it out of the room, your girlfriend pulling you again around a corner and stealing a kiss as you both laughing into one anothers mouths to try and stifle the noise to no luck."
"if kim asks, kyra did it."

prompt: Leah watches you walk on the runway for the first time.
warnings: 18+, smut, top!leah, bottom!reader, begging, fingering, oral
New York, Tokyo, Paris, and now London, a different major city each week. The Victoria Secret Fashion Show was now in full force and had no sign of easing up anytime soon. The model life was rigid, a strict discipline and a tight schedule, but the feeling on the runway was worth all the sacrifices. The premise of each show was to showcase Victoria Secret’s newest collection of lingerie for the upcoming year.
A renowned model, runway resume including events such as Paris and Milan Fashion Week. Striking eyes and a stunning body, it is as if you were sculpted for the stage. The model lifestyle was fast, fittings, photoshoots, parties until well into the early mornings, a constant continuous cycle. Falling quickly into the routine, first would be walking in the show, next would be finding the nearest club or party, and forcing the immense stress of the constant work pressure to the back of your mind. Typically ending with you going home with the first woman you found interesting enough, but always leaving before they had the opportunity to create something with you. The model life was built on living fast.
But the fatal night in the bar after a rough week gearing up for Paris fashion week, you had met Leah.
“Is this seat taken?” a voice asked you over the loud music in the bar, as look up to a blonde haired woman with piercing blue eyes.
“All yours” you simply reply, shooting back another shot, hoping to forget all about the overwhelming amount of stress you were under. The woman next to you was intriguing, beautiful complexion and a muscular figure, dressed in a white button shirt that had several buttons undone and grey trousers. Her hair was in a bun with a few face shaping strands left out, she was indescribably hot.
The alcohol was searing throughout your body, making you warm and the confidence in your body shot up about eight notches.
“Dance with me” you whisper in her ear as you pull her to the crowded dance floor. The music and the timing were just right, dancing alongside the gorgeous girl you had just met. Together your bodies moved rhythmically, allowing the beat to take control, swaying your hips backwards into the girl who you know knew as Leah. She would gently rest her head on your shoulder and whisper how gorgeous you were in your ear as you both danced.
The time had gotten way past roughly 2 A.M. and you had to be back at the venue bright and early at 6.
"Leah I've really got to go" you unfortunately say to her. A whimper left the girl's mouth as she desperately pulled her body closer to yours, not wanting the night to end, not wanting you to leave. It takes everything in you to disconnect from the girl as you were also enjoying the company.
"Are you walking home?" Leah asked you.
"My hotel is right up the corner, I was just going to walk." Leah opened the door for you and when you stepped outside the bar, the air was cold. Dressed in a simple black little dress, you were certainly underdressed for the weather as you had initially left the event and came straight to the bar.
"If you don't mind, I can walk you. Want to make sure you get home safe."
Giving her an agreeing hum, you lead her the way and she follows parallel with you. The wind was harsh and you unwillingly shivered, winter days in Paris did not mess around. Leah noticed your coldness and ushered off her jacket and put it on your freezing frame, zipping the jacket up fully for you. You look towards her to begin to argue but she simply shakes her head at you and says, "Seriously, it's okay."
Arriving at the hotel, you hand Leah back her jacket. The time you had spent with Leah made your heart flutter. She was beyond a doubt utterly beautiful, but she also was sweet, her small little actions in the bar showed you so. For example, when a man would approach the two of you to buy in for a dance with you, she would pull you closer and tell him to move on.
"Thank you Leah, for everything tonight." You desperately wanted to invite her in but Leah was different. You didn't to give her the insuation that all you wanted from her was sex.
"When can I see you again?" she asked, trying to mask the desperation in her voice.
Stopped between two decisions, usually the nights ended with you leaving in the early morning and forgetting the actions of the previous night, but Leah was different. You wanted to change, the fast lifestyle didn't suit you. You yearned to find someone who fits you, opening up your previously closed heart.
Exchanging numbers with Leah led you to a blossoming relationship. She understood your lifestyle as she was also in the spotlight, it was kind of perfect. You left Paris a few days later but you never stopped texting Leah and on days when you were both free, you would Facetime, typically falling asleep on the call most nights. That was roughly 7 months ago when you called Leah your friend, but today she is now your girlfriend.
That is why tonight's show was so important. Leah would be watching you walk in person for the first time and she was also bringing a few of her national teammates. You had managed to get them amazing seats located center stage.
Backstage of the show was chaotic, with hairstylists and makeup artists running around, scrambling to put the perfect finishing touches on the models before they took the stage.
This was not your first Victoria's Secret Show but the stage always made you a bit nervous, so you tried to remain composed in your private dressing room that was flushed with flowers. Leah had gotten into a habit of sending you flowers each show you did since she was always unable to be in attendance until tonight.
Dazzling the stage, you wore a black laced set with massive feathered wings, hugging every curve of yours perfectly, leaving little up to the imagination. Your tanned skin combated the black perfectly as you walked up and down the stage, secretly sending Leah a wink as you watched her pupils dilate and her mouth slightly ajar. Meeting the end of the stage you head back towards your changing room to get ready to greet your guests and eventually the afterparty.
"Leah close your mouth before you catch stray flies," Georgia yelled toward the entraced girl as she elbowed Leah in the ribs to regain her attention. Leah's mouth was completely dry and was in a daze, only thinking about how sexy you looked on stage.
The show had ended and you made your way back towards the stage for the closing of yet another successful show. The London venue was also where the afterparty is located so you find Leah and her teammates at the bar. You find yourself still in your angel wings and black set as you make your way to join the England girls, receiving multiple compliments on your outfit and the show as you walk.
The room is dimly lit and you can immediately feel Leah's eyes drawn to your body. The shows were worldwide so this was the first time you had seen Leah in a few weeks, desperation lingered on both of your bodies. But you had roughly 6 English lionesses ushering you flattering remarks of how much they enjoyed the show.
"I am glad you all had fun!" you tell the group.
"Not as much fun as I'm sure Leah had, like a deer in headlights the whole time" Ella joked as Leah pushed her shoulder, obviously embarrassed as her cheeks turned a dark shade of red.
"I am also glad you enjoyed baby" leaving lingering fingers on her open skin and quickly placing a small kiss on her cheek. You desperately missed her and the tension was growing as she left her hands on your lower back as you made casual conversation with her teammates. You had to physically restrain yourself from roaming your hands all over Leah, trying to be discreet in front of the people who were in the room. The drinks started flowing and soon enough you couldn't handle the sexual frustration any longer.
"Let's get out of here, yeah?" Whispering in her ear only loud enough for her to hear. The both of you say quick goodbyes and make a swift exit, the anticipation building.
Entering your hotel room, your lips were connected in an instant. A deep and passionate kiss that was quickly becoming heated as her hands roamed your body. A small moan left your mouth as she pulled apart from you, a string of spit connecting your lips. Leah pulled her top off in a hurry and reconnected her lips to yours, rubbing her warm pointer finger over your now wet lips. Your hands found home in her blonde locks, treading through her hair and trying to pull her head lower on your body to where you really wanted her. While she loved the black lacey set you had on, she discarded the top fast to leave open kisses down the valley of your chest.
"So sexy" she muttered between kisses.
Propping yourself up on your elbows as she removes her bra, you can see Leah's dark clouded eyes, eager for you. Leah's large hands knead your left breast as she places your right pink hardened nipple in her mouth and sucks relentlessly on it. Placing the nipple between her teeth as she pulls gently on it, enticing a low guttural moan out of you. She does the vice versa on your left breast. Your nipple encased in the warmth of Leah’s mouth sends waves of shivers throughout your body and wetness begins to pool in between your legs.
You try your best to push Leah downwards but she is insistent on taking her time. She comes back up your neck, a sweet spot she knew you had. Sucking hard on the open skin, leaving small bruises as she worked her way all over your neck, spurring her on as loud moans left your mouth unwillingly. She continues to pull and pinch your nipples as they are now completely perked and red. She lowers herself and begins by kissing your inner thighs and rubbing her large hands up and down your quads. Slowly tracing her long fingernails along your body leaving chills everywhere. Your hips buck up at her trying to find some sort of friction but Leah simply pushes your body back to the bed.
"Leah don't be a tease. I need you."
She places a small kiss on the outside of the black thong you were wearing from the show. She can feel the small circle of wetness on the underwear, which only spurs her on. She takes her time removing the garment, fingers trailing on the sides of your thighs carefully. All of your clothing is now removed and you shutter under her, the coldness of the sheets but your body is incredibly hot and bothered.
"Leah please" you begged.
"All that confidence up on the stage gone now? Under me begging to be touched." Leah simply replied.
Your glistening hole begged for any sort of attention. Leah has her hands on both sides of your thighs, forcing your knees outward so you are fully spread in front of her, completely open for her. She runs her pointer finger along your slit, feeling your wetness and gathering up some. She holds her fingers out in front of you as you take them in your mouth and taste yourself. Completely wetting Leah's long fingers before she slowly slips a finger into you. Your desperate tight cunt easily swallows her finger, finally receiving some attention. You quiver under her and she places a light kiss on your clit. Removing her finger you whine a little but she now focuses on your clit, rubbing small hard circles as you clutch onto the sheets. You had been incredibly horny since you stepped off the stage, waiting for this moment. Earning a deep moan from you, Leah places her finger back in you as her tongue still continues ministrations on your clit.
"So tight baby," she says to you, pulling her in for another deep kiss as she now has added a second finger, plowing into you at a fast rate. She knew you weren't going to last long. The sensation between Leah's fingers in you and her magical work with her tongue had you nearing orgasm. Leah's eyes have become transfixed on you as your face contours between pleasure and bliss, knowing you are close. The lustful look in Leah’s eyes was on full display as she started to rub your clit faster while continuing to pump deliberately into you. You can begin to feel the tight coil in your stomach as your moans become more frequent, desperate for a release.
"Lee I'm close" you breathe out to her, hands now back tangled in her hair as she works your body up to your impending high.
"Cum for me baby" is all she has to spurt out as a few more thrusts and you are sent over the edge and you reach your orgasm. Leah guides you through your orgasm and slows down when she notices your body coming back down, helping you fully ride out your high. Leah takes the time to lick you clean, pulling you in for a kiss so you can taste yourself.
"So beautiful baby" she whispers out to you as you pull apart. You flip your bodies so now Leah is laid on the bed. Reconnecting your lips earning a moan now from Leah.
"Your turn baby. We've got all night," you say to her.

stay with me II a.russo & l.williamson ~
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
this is like a little angsty and i don't really fancy it, but again, you'll deal! ;) 🫶🏻 🫶🏻
★ a.russo, l. williamson
leah shook the younger blonde gently at first, her voice soft but still insistent. "lessi." no response. she tried again, a bit louder this time, "less." still, alessia remained in a deep sleep, her breathing steady and her chest rising calmy. frustration tinged with worry began to creep into leah's voice as she gave the sleeping girl a firmer shake. "alessia!" she shouted, her tone laced with urgency.
alessia's eyes fluttered open, confusion clouding her gaze as she tried to make sense of the situation. the room was still dim, she could only faintly make out leah's shadow leaning above her.
she blinked slowly, her mind still foggy with sleep. "what's wrong, love?" alessia mumbled, her voice still heavy with sleep, rubbing her eyes and sitting herself up against the headboard. "it's y/n," leah said, her voice laced with concern. "she's not in bed. i'm worried, she never gets up this early."
alessia's heart skipped a beat, the remnants of sleep instantly washed away by a surge of distress. you never left the bed at odd hours, especially not without letting one of them know. a feeling of unease started to settle uncomfortably in her stomach.
she quickly swung her legs out of bed, a sense of hurry her movements. "did you check the bathroom? the couch?" alessia asked, already making her way towards the door. leah nodded. "everywhere. she's not in the apartment."
panic started to knot in alessia's chest. "okay, let's not jump to conclusions. maybe she went for an early run? she's been really stressed lately." both blondes shared a look, mutually deciding to search the apartment yet again, just incase leah missed had missed you.
alessia began by looking on the balcony, incase you went out for some air, before checking the living room, the laundry, the garden and finally all three bathrooms.
after searching the apartment and finding no sign of their girlfriend, leah's worry heightened, alessia's increasing panic making her go silent. "we've checked everywhere," she said, her voice weaved with desperation. "where else could she be?" she said defeatedly. "maybe we should check the building? she could have gone outside for some air." leah suggested trying to sound encouraging, but failing to do anything to calm the anxious girl next to her.
as they turned to head for the front door, a faint noise from the kitchen caught alessia's attention. a soft groan, which was so subtle, it would have been ignored if alessia hadn't caught it. "wait," she said, holding up her hand for silence. "did you hear that, le?"
they both paused, listening intently. there it was again, -a weak, muffled sound, barely audible.
alessia rushed into the kitchen, with leah running closely behind her. the sight that met them was gut - wrenching. there you lay on the floor, your skin pale coloured, your body slumped against the concrete floor. you were hidden behind the kitchen counter, curled up uncomfortably with your face harshly pressed into the floor. it looked like you had collapsed, your body giving out underneath you, as if all your strength had been taken away.
"oh my god, y/n!" alessia cried out, dropping to her knees beside you. leah quickly fell to your side as well, gently shaking your shoulder, trying to rouse you. "darling, can you hear me?" leah pleaded with your unconscious body.
as alessia cradled your head in her lap, smoothly brushing back your hair with trembling fingers, memories flooded her head. her mind clouding with a conversation you had just last week. you were standing at the kitchen counter, the same counter you were now passed out beside, face resting on your forearms. "i just need to push through this week, less" you had said, voice exhausted but still you were determined.
you were a full-time businesswoman, a force to be reckoned with in the corporate world. from the age of nineteen, you had founded your own investment firm, an ambitious idea that rapidly grew into a legacy. but your influence didn’t stop there. you were also a constant volunteer and advocate for a charity company that focused on empowerment for young women.
your passion for your work stemmed from own journey. you knew first hand the challenges and adversity that women often faced in the world of financial business, and you were somebody who was determined to change that, to pave a way for future generations of women. and through your firm, you initiated programs that provided mentorship, resources, and training to young women aspiring to careers in finance. and although you loved your work, you could sometimes admit you were an overachiever.
sometimes you struggled to accept help, especially in your personal life. your workload was immense, a never - ending cycle of meetings, strategic planning and charity work. yet, you never let your professional life get in the way of your love for your family.
at home, you took on the role as the caregiver. you were always cooking meals, cleaning your apartment and making sure that both alessia and leah were well taken care of. it was your way of showing your love for the blondes. however, sometimes this constant juggling of your professional and personal life often left you stretched thin, and unable to care for yourself.
you believed in being strong, managing it all, it was who you were. although sometimes the pressure of the stress would hang over your head, but you would push it aside, unwilling to burden your partners with your struggles.
"stay with me, please baby." she whispered, her voice cracking, as tears rolled down her cheeks. she could see now the signs she had so blatantly missed before; the colour slowly draining from your face, the fatigue, the way you had been subtly avoiding any attention from both girls.
alessia had been concerned but had respected your wishing, allowing you to continue the workload that you took on so strongly. now, seeing you so vulnerable, alessia wished she had insisted that you had taken a break, the amount of responsibilities you took on, whilst still taking care of both your partners was draining, and anybody with half a brain could see that you were struggling.
but they were both too blind to see it.
leah's fingers danced over her phone frantically, but instead of dialing for an ambulance, she called the doctor provided by her club, a service available for the team and their close ones. her voice cracked as she spoke to the man on the phone, the blonde desperately trying to hold her composure as she described your condition.
by now you had awoken, your eyes blinking rapidly, as you tried to take in your surroundings. as you tried to sit yourself up, a wave of dizziness washed over you, alessia trying her best to keep your laying down, - exactly what leah had ordered her to do. but your stubborn nature kicked in. "im fine," you murmured, though your voice was hoarse, and betrayed the truth you were trying so hard to cover.
hanging up the phone, leah relayed the doctor's advice to you both, well mostly to alessia, as you definitely weren't listening. "they said some paracetamol and sleep should do the trick. your symptoms are indicating that your body is overworked," she explained, her voice still carrying trembling slightly.
"don't move, love," alessia urged, as you tried to get up again. "you need to rest." she glanced at leah, silently communicating over your head. leah nodded in understanding. "the doctor said you need to take it easy," she added. "you've been pushing yourself too hard." you looked away, a stubborn set to her jaw. "i'm fine," you repeated weakly. "i just need a moment."
but your body betrayed her words. your movements were slow, your eyes flitting around the room aimlessly, as you tried to convince them that you were okay. leah wordlessly gathered the medicine and a glass of water for you, her hands shaking slightly as she handed them to alessia. "you need to take this," she told you, her voice firm but still loving.
you were reluctant but noticing the seriousness in their tones, grudgingly accepted the medicine. you swallowed the pills with a grimace, the effort seeming to drain what little energy you had left in your body.
as you drifted into a fitful sleep, alessia and leah exchanged worried glances. they knew your road to recovery would be slow, but they were determined to be there for you every step of the way, even if it meant they had to put their lives on hold.
leah fell backwards, head in her hands, leaning against the counter, with an overwhelming look on her face, she was completely lost in her thoughts. she thought about the countless times you had been the pillar of strength for them, always putting both girls before yourself.
"she's always been the one taking care of us," she murmured, her voice barely audible over the quiet sobs of her other girlfriend. it was a painful irony that in your desire to be strong for everyone around you, you had neglected your own needs in the process.
alessia's mind raced with worry and guilt. she remembered the little signs she had missed – your quieter demeanor in recent days, the way your smiles didn't quite reach above your eyes. "i should have seen it," she whispered lowly, herself trying to take any guilt she could off the older blonde. "i should have seen something was wrong sooner."
leah scooted closer to alessia, placing a comforting hand on her thigh. "we'll get through this together," she said. fear in her eyes, although she tried her best to stay strong in spite of the younger girl, who was slowly breaking down beside her.
"we always do."
as the morning light slowly started to filter through your window, a soft golden light filtered through the kitchen. alessia gently lifted you from the floor, carefully carrying you to your bedroom, leah following not far behind.
they carefully placed you in bed, surrounding you with pillows and warm blankets they knew you loved. both blondes took turns sitting by your side, each holding one of your hands, as they sat in a comfortable silence.
As your breathing deepened into a steady pattern of sleep, leah whispered, "she's going to be okay. we'll make sure of it." alessia nodded, a small smile breaking through her worry. alessia, felt a surge of gratitude for leah and reached out to squeeze her hand. "thank you," she said softly. leah returned the squeeze, her smile warm. you stirred lightly in your sleep, a faint smile gracing your lips, as both girls giggled at you.
"we're in this together, always."

Heart Stopper | Leah Williamson
Tumblr media
A/N: this was rushed and probs sucks boooo, will probably do a follow up part too (also not proofread lol)
There were many things that gave you a nervous fluttering in your chest; waking up on your birthday, receiving awards, doing interviews and even meeting fans.
But there was also a few things that made that feeling a hundred times more intense. Playing for your country, and whenever Leah looked at you.
It was cliché, but the two of you were completely head over heels for each other. Leah's gaze was the most beautiful thing you ever had the pleasure of catching, but it would always make your heart race a little faster in your chest. Your fiancée often teased you about how nervous you got when you made eye contact especially considering the four years you had been together, but you just couldn't explain it.
Leah looked at you with so much love and affection, a genuine feeling behind her eyes that made you question what you had done to deserve love like hers. Her eyes never failed to make you smile, and appreciate what you had. She was your world, more important than anything in your life; including your career.
You could think of a thousand different examples of times Leah had made you nervous, when you met, when you finally plucked up the courage to ask her out, when you met her family, winning the Euros with her. But nothing would beat how her eyes brimmed with happy tears when you got down on one knee that night in Athens, during a holiday just after England's victory in the summer.
There was a lot of things that made your heart race, beat against your chest as though it was ready to burst, but Leah would always be at the top of your list.
Today was no different, except you had plenty more reasons to be jittery.
Not too long ago, you were called up to represent England at the World Cup and before you knew it, the time was here. Unfortunately, your soon-to-be-wife had sustained an injury to her ACL a few months prior, and it had left her out of the squad indefinitely due to her recovery period. It was tough time for Leah, but you had remained by her side throughout, and she would be forever thankful that you were.
You had played at your best, as well of the rest of the team and it earned you a spot in the semi-finals against France. It was going to be a very tough game, but you had made it this far, and nobody planned on going home early.
No matter how many times you played for your country, it was still scary. Even though you had played well so far, you were so worried it could all go wrong. That feeling in your chest could be a spiteful bastard, and sometimes turn sour at the worst times. It would become a tight feeling, painful and hard to ignore. But in your line of work, it was something that had to be ignored.
"How you feeling, speedy?" A voice had quickly snapped you out of your thoughts. Turning your head to see Millie Bright taking a seat beside you in the changing room that was already full of eager Lionesses prepping for kick off (and listening to ABBA).
You cleared your throat slightly, feeling that familiar twinge in your chest that threatened to turn unpleasant.
"Good." The lie slipped past your lips, not backed up by the fact that your leg was bouncing so quickly against the floor that it could've created a hole.
Millie chuckled beside you before throwing an arm around your shoulder.
"We're gonna kill 'em, save that energy for the pitch kid."
You offered her a quick smile before she patted your back and moved off to have a conversation with Rachel. It was odd, you hadn't quite had this feeling so intense before, but you had figured that the further you got in the competition, the worse it might be. But Millie was right, conserve your energy and let it out when it mattered.
It wouldn't be long before you were due to line up and head out for kick off, and so despite the rules, you pulled out your phone to text Leah. She had managed to convince the physios at Arsenal that she would be fine to fly out for the end of the tournament, promising to cheer you all on from wherever she was sat. She had texted you with the general area, and you told her you'd look for her when you came out.
Putting your phone away, you rose to your feet and followed the team out.
The feeling was ever present in your chest, but it didn't die down. Shaking your head and balling your hands in fists by your sides, it was game time. Win first, worry later.
<><><>
The whistle was blown, and the game kicked off. It was a hard fought battle between both sides. Equal opportunity, but neither could make a real dent in the score line. At the 46th minute, your chest had begun to tighten and your head beginning to hurt, and not in a way you had felt before.
Something was wrong.
An anxiety attack perhaps? Migraine? You had no idea but there was no way in hell you were subbing off this early, not when you were making runs up the wing and crosses into the box that had France's defence all over the place.
One misplaced pass from a French midfielder allowed Lucy to intercept, who passed it promptly to Stanway, sending it you on the left wing where you were already setting up to make the run. Rachel Daly was at the striking position, and after hours of drills, it was about to pay off as an opportunity to score presented itself. By the time the long ball reached your feet, you were off and running it up the line, leaving a stumbling French right back tailing after you. As the end of the pitch appeared, you halted quickly, stopping the ball with you and throwing off the defender for a mere moment.
But that was all you needed.
A sly pass through the legs of said defender allowed you to chip the ball into the rapidly crowding box, but Rachel was there ready to header it in. England, France, the whole stadium held their breath as Daly made contact and sent the shot flying into the top corner. It was though everything was happening in slow motion to you.
Unfortunately, the incredible shot rattled off the woodwork, allowing a defender to clear the ball from the French box, sending both teams back down the pitch.
"France clear the dangerous attempt from England, making safe passes between their back line in order to gain some ground." The commentators were keeping a close eye on this tight-knit game. Their eyes followed every kick of the ball. "-makes a clear pass past Walsh and into the England half, but it appears that Y/L/N has yet to even catch up with her teammates!"
Leah was hyper-focused, prepped for a nasty French counter-attack. With her lower lip between her teeth, she was watching every kick of the ball, hands clenched in hope that the Lioness defence would come through. It was clear that it was neck and neck, and not a single second could be wasted. A French player was closing in on the England box, and Millie was ready to make the tackle, until she noticed a commotion on the pitch.
"France are set on returning the attacking gesture, making good ground- Oh!" The commentator cut himself off. "Is Y/L/N injured? She seems to be stumbling."
The blonde defender's eyes flickered away out the sound of a whistle, the French player halting her attack. Millie's head turned to the sound of the whistle, as did the rest of the players.
There was Rachel, kneeling down beside a body of white kit. Keira stood waving her arms to the side lines, a clear sign of calling for medical aid. The referee had also dropped to her knees, and Leah's heart sank as realisation settled in.
From her position, she was close enough to see that you were lying down on the ground. Still. Unmoving. She didn't see you get tackled, let alone go down. Her throat filled with anxiety, fear. What do I do? Leah couldn't exactly run onto the pitch, but that was her fucking fiancée down there for Christ sake.
"Leah..." Her brother managed out beside her, already knowing. Her brother had come to like you quite a lot, but you were basically part of the family. It was clear the worry was mutual.
The blonde woman heard ringing, her brother's attempts at consoling her falling on deaf ears. She watched as medics ran onto the pitch, and not just team medics, but paramedics. It was clear something was seriously wrong as the ref beckoned them over quickly after her initial examination.
Leah wasn't quite able to process what was going on. Tears pricked in her eyes, and that tight feeling in her own chest had turn into outright panic. Her breathing was staggered, but she was unable to move. She wasn't close enough to hear or see clearly, but she knew.
The English squad all shared a solemn and worrisome look on their faces. Lucy Bronze had her hands on the shoulders of Keira Walsh, seemingly attempting to calm her down. The two of you were close, and seeing you like this was hard. Especially since no-one quite knew what was going on. Lucy pulled Keira away, as the rest of the team quickly stood in a protective circle around yourself and the paramedics, shielding you away from prying eyes in such a vulnerable moment. The French players also joined to fill in the gaps, showing nothing but solidarity for a fellow player.
Your fiancée was only stirred from her panic as her brother grabbed her hand, leading her down from their seats and back inside the stadium. Leah had obviously gained a sort of VIP privilege to watch the match, meaning they had a private area inside before and during the game. As her eyes were torn away from you, her body kicked back into auto drive, ignoring her brother and immediately began searching for someone that could help her.
"Excuse me!" Leah had found what looked like a security guard further down the corridor, just outside the room. "My girlfriend's just been injured and I need to see her!"
The man didn't respond initially, as it seemed he was listening to something being said in his earpiece. "Madam I can't let anyone down there."
Meanwhile, outside the stadium had fallen silent. You were being rushed off the pitch and referee had called a slightly early half-time, sending both teams back to the changing rooms. The Lionesses wasted no time, Sarina was going to have to deliver a game plan at the same time as making sure the rest of the team were okay.
There was a lot of chatter in the changing room.
"Fuck, man!" Lucy stressfully placed her hands on her head. "What the fuck was it?" She asked out loud, hoping for an answer.
"Mate I dunno, she just collapsed." Rachel responded from her seat in her cubby.
Keira just sighed. "It's bad, it's really bad." Emotions threatened to spill over. "She just dropped and she was shaking."
"I heard the paramedics. She was unconscious." Georgia admitted shakily, and the atmosphere in the room changed. But before anyone could say more, Sarina walked in the room alongside some assistant coaching staff.
The girls all shuffled back into their seats, and then Sarina spoke;
"I've been told that Y/N suffered a seizure." The silence in the room was heavy. "We do not know why, but she's on the way to the hospital."
No one knew what to say. Not really.
"Is she going to be okay?" Jess asked what everyone was thinking. The obvious question.
Sarina's gaze dropped.
"I don't know at this time, but it seems that way." Sighs of relief were audible.
Millie then spoke; "Has anyone told Leah?" Heads turned to look at her. "She's here, there's no way she hasn't seen."
"I've sent someone up to grab her, they'll take her to Y/N." The England coach informed her team. "Look ladies, I know you are all gravely concerned about your teammate, and the support and care you showed at their proved it. But Y/N would want you all to go back out there and give it your best."
It was true, the girls all knew how much the game meant to you, and that you were the type of person to never quit. You expected the same thing from everyone else. In truth, it was a part of what made the team so special.
But their hearts also ached for Leah. Watching the person you love have something so horrible happen to them was hard.
So they would go back out there, and win it for you. You and Leah.
<><><>
The match was over. England won 2-1.
Leah couldn't quite bring herself to care, though. For a rare occasion, something in her life had taken precedence over the game.
She was sat alone in a waiting room, in some Australian hospital, waiting to hear anything from you. She had been there for two hours. Before Leah could rip off that security guard's head, an England staff member had grabbed her, telling her everything he knew before helping her get to the hospital. She thanked him profusely, and went inside, trying to find out what was going on with you.
The England captain was told to wait, and that was what she had been doing ever since. Her brother had come in and out, busy making phone calls to his and Leah's mum.
"Leah Y/L/N?" Her head snapped up at that. She had forgotten she had lied about her name, telling them you were married already in fear they wouldn't let her see you. Leah bolted up and headed to the nurse who had called her name, indicating for the woman to follow her.
She pulled out her phone and text her brother that she was going to see you before she was brought outside a door. The nurse opened it and ushered her in, stating she would give some privacy before the nurse came over.
For the first time ever, Leah's gaze on you was one filled with heartache.
Hooked up to wires, pale as anything. Sitting in a bed you had no purpose being in. You didn't look like you.
"Y/N..." The tears that the defender had desperately tried to hold back had breached her eyes once again, flowing freely. You were awake, and the sudden noise had you looking over at your lover.
"Leah." You sighed, seeming a lot more awake than she had been expecting. The girl rushed over and grabbed your hand, before you pulled her into a hug, immediately wrapping your arms around hers. "I'm okay, c'mon, I'm okay."
You attempted to soothe her hurt, ironically. But Leah pulled away, sobbing.
"But you're not! Oh my God, you aren't okay!" Leah hated the word hysterical, she thought it had sexist undertones, but she felt a little hysterical right now.
"Hey! I'm alive! I'm breathing! I'm talking to you right now, aren't I?" You quipped, smiling at her. You still looked pale, slow moving. But still, that was you. "It was a seizure. Stress, they said. They need to do more tests but, I'm all good."
Leah knew you were okay, the evidence was right in front of her. But it didn't make this any less scary.
She didn't even have to say anything, her lip just quivering. You pulled her back into you, mindful of the wires connected to your body. "I know, baby. I'm right here." You ran a soothing hand up and down her back.
"I should be comforting you right now." She mumbled into your neck, making you chuckle.
"Ha, I'm sound." That made her giggle.
"You collapsed." She deadpanned, pulling away slightly again.
"I know."
"You're going to be okay?" She asked, those beautiful eyes finding yours again. "You're going to be okay."
"I know." You repeated, and your fiancée kissed your cheek.
She spent the next minutes asking you how you felt, and you explained how you felt just before you went down and how you remembered nothing whilst you were unconscious.
"I didn't even know I had a fit till I got in the ambulance. I just felt so...tired. Exhausted." Recounting your trip to the hospital, Leah was constantly stroking your hair, looking you in the eyes to make sure you were really there. "But I'm good. I'll be good."
Leah didn't say anything, she just leaned in and kissed you softly on the lips. The two of you shared a sweet embrace until a short beep on your monitor made you both pull away. Leah turned her head and saw your heart rate monitor, and that your BPM had spiked slightly.
Your face went red with realisation, and Leah just bit her lower lip bashfully.
"Do I make you nervous or something?" She teased, and you just sighed at her antics.
"Shut up!" You flopped back into the bed, letting yourself lean against the mattress.
There was a beat of silence.
"I didn't make anything stressful for you, right? I know the last few months have been hard-" You cut Leah's rambling off quickly before she could spiral, knowing what she was like.
"Nope! None of that please. Leah, I've always been shit with dealing with stress. It's my own fault for bottling it up. I'm gonna start seeing someone when we get back, manage my emotions better. Promise." You reassured her, and you meant what you said. You knew Leah had some of the toughest months of her life the past year. Coming off the highs of captaining the team to the Euros win, to being injured and missing out on the biggest tournament in the world was so hard. But you didn't regret helping her through a single minute of that, and no matter how tough it was really, you would never let her take the blame because there was simply none to place on her shoulders.
The two of you were interrupted by a doctor entering the room, apologising for the intrusion.
"Ah, I see your wife found you then, Mrs Y/L/N?" He smiled, walking over to your other side and checking a few machines.
You turned your head sheepishly to Leah.
"Wife, huh?"
She just hummed in response.
"A couple of months, give or take."

A Lions fight (Leah Williamson x reader)
The end was kinda rushed uups
Tumblr media
Christmas was her favourite time of the year, getting to eat chocolate, spending much time with her loved ones, going to the advent markt and playing in the snow. Her inner child always came out during this holiday season. Since you’ve spent three christmas seasons with her as her girlfriend you figured out how she behaves while being in the holiday spirit. Like a child.
Everyone knew Leah couldn’t cook but she was eager to keep you company while baking. She even tries to help. Only giving her the responsibility of smaller tasks, as you don’t want to repeat the events of last week. Your dear girlfriend forgot to cover the mixer, dough everywhere. On the kitchen counter, the fricking kitchen door, the floor and walls. It definitely wasn’t amusing to clean the whole mess up. Some stains remained on the wall, which you had to repaint as Leah is still in recovery.
Leah begged you to make a video of her opening the door of the advent calender. It was for an advertisement, which she loved to do. Your girlfriend and you received christmas sweaters and free chocolate. Who in their right mind says no to free chocolate? She got extremely excited opening the mini door for the first December. She savoured the taste of chocolate. Making funny faces in the process. After posting the video on her social media, it was your turn. Since your advent calendar wasn’t the same as hers, she was on her toes to find out what was hiding behind yours. A mini chocolate angel. As a true gooner, it reminded her of her Arsenal heritage. The defender began to sing “The Angel”. “As I walk these streets alone, through this borough I call home”, with a massive grin plastered on her face. You stare confused at her, not catching up on what your love is singing. “Liefje what are you singing?” you asked amused. Instead of answering she closed the distance between your bodies. Wrapping her arms around your waist, pulling you towards her. “Upon the baron fields of Highbury 'neath the stadiums of stone” she kept on singing. Your arms finding their place around her neck. You popped in your small treat. Letting the texture of the chocolate dissolve on your tongue, your receptors being hit by a combo of bitter and sweet. In the meantime, your eyes connected with Leah’s, staring into each other's souls. This intimate moment got better when your lover decided to kiss you. A sweet and tender kiss, igniting a fire in your heart, butterflies fluttering in your stomach. Leah’s tongue swept across your bottom lip, asking for entrance. Granting her entrance with delight, her tongue explored your mouth. Slightly sucking on yours. “Mmm you taste delicious, like chocolate.” “Leah, you little shit.” Of course, her plan was to get some of your chocolate. Honestly you should have seen it coming. Smacking her head lightly. “What? I just love sweets. It’s not my fault.”, she responded with faux innocence. “Mhm keep telling yourself that schatje.”, you placed your right hand on her chest and pulled her in for a short kiss. After pulling away, your girlfriend chased your lips. A pout formed as she wanted to proceed with the minor make-out session in the kitchen. Hence why you pecked her lips a few more times.
Getting ready for a game normally doesn't take long. Only this time a dispute arose. Leah wanted you to wear her England jersey but they are playing your home country. How could you betray the Netherlands? Additionally being Viv’s cousin, you’d made your mind up. With Miedema written on the back of your shirt, which was actually your last name, you were ready to leave. Usually you wore Leah’s shirt but you wanted to show Viv support, you hoped for her to be subbed on and
get some minutes. You promised Leah to wear her shirt to the next game, she reluctantly agreed. No doubt wanting you to always have her shirt on. She always loved seeing you with her stuff, her last name on your back was the cherry on top. She promised herself to make you hers for once and for all someday. Already searching for suitable rings to propose to you. Of course she wasn't aware of you doing the exact same. Only Amanda and Viv were aware that both of you were on the lookout for engagement rings. Having figured out each other's ring size through those two wonderful women.
Arriving at the stadium you were in awe. The atmosphere was extremely pleasant. Fans cheering loudly while the players are warming up. You were pretty early there due to Leah wanting to visit the girls before kickoff. You on the other hand went to the dutchies. They were quite fond of you, Viv had dragged you to some events where you’ve met most of the leeuwinnen. Exchanging hugs and good luck wishes were on your agenda. Subsequently, you had a quick chat with your cousin, reassuring her that she’d play well. Recently she hasn’t been the most confident about performance. “Anna Margaretha Marina Astrid Miedema you got this, i believe in you and so do your teammates. When you get out there I want you to destroy the English. You got me dear cousin? Afterwards I’ll be saying: she ate and left no crumbs.” Viv hugged you tightly and whispered “Thank you Y/n, you really are my favourite cousin.””I’d be shocked if I wasn’t, I am your only cousin.”, your face showed a non amused expression. “Alright, I’ll leave you to get ready, need to meet up with Leah to go to our seats” Waving goodbye to everyone and them shouting goodbye back as you left.
After finding Leah in one of the many hallways, you went to your seats. Of course they were in the family section. As the game started you both were extremely excited but also on edge. This game could cost England the qualification as well as the Netherlands. When Beerensteyn scored two times in the first half you were ecstatic but didn’t show it too much. Jumping off your seat two times was enough celebration, not wanting to rub it under Leah’s nose. Speaking of your girlfriend, she was fuming next to you. Criticising every mistake made on the pitch. You were sure some memes would be created of her expressions during the game.
As the added time was announced Leah stood up “Babe I’ll be back. Just need to have a likkle chat with the girls.” “Alright my love. Please don’t be too harsh on them.” She mumbled something under her breath as a reply. You continued to watch the game until it was halftime. Getting up to get your girlfriend some water and something to munch on during the second half.
Leah entered the changing room. She leaned against the wall and waited for the girls to come. Shortly after her the girls entered. Some with heads hanging down, some had an unreadable expression. Everyone made their way to the cubbies, expecting Serena to yell at them but instead they found Leah. Now she stood in the middle of the room and looked around. Serena
watched from the door as the true captain of the team gave them a speech. It motivated every player, gave them feedback and told them to get their shit together. Serena herself couldn’t have done a better job, she certainly was proud of the injured player. “Kick some ass girls, I know you can do it. We won the Euros for Christ's sake. You have the ability to beat them, we’ve done it before. Get out there and show them who’s the boss. I believe in you.” and with that Leah left the changing room leaving the “stage” to Serena.
Seeing them play in the second half was as if a switch had been turned. More ball control, more opportunities and some changes. The lionesses flipped the tables, the game now in their favour. Still with the narrow victory the chances of qualifying weren’t the greatest. The game against Scotland would have to be an epic one, with loads of goals.
As soon as the match ended Leah and you went on the field. Even after the win some of the girls were in tears. They were disappointed in themself. Leah joined them in the circle, she was proud of the girls, even if the game could have been better. They managed a comeback, they still had a chance. Nothing was lost yet, that's what she told the girls and she was right. Nothing was carved into stone, everything was possible.

head injury
Y/N had been an integral part of Arsenal Women's Football Club for three years. Her journey with the team had seen them through victories, challenges, and unforgettable moments on and off the field. During this time, Y/N had cultivated deep connections with her teammates, and they had become more than just friends and fellow athletes; they were her soccer family. As this season progressed, Arsenal found themselves facing a crucial match against their fierce rivals, Chelsea. Y/N, being her tenacious self, was right in the thick of the action. Her partnership with Leah on the field had always been one of Arsenal's strengths, and they synchronized like clockwork. Arsenal was known for its fluid passing and attacking style of play, and Y/N played a pivotal role in their success.
The first half of the match saw both teams battling fiercely for dominance on the field. The intensity was high, and both Arsenal and Chelsea were pushing their limits.
During a set piece, as Y/N went up to contest a header, an accidental collision with an opposing player pushed her back into the goal post, her head ricocheting off the metal post.
As the ball was kicked to upfield, everyone cleared around the goal, but the stadium fell into a hushed panic as Y/N lay motionless on the ground. Leah, her girlfriend, was the first to reach her.
Kneeling by Y/N's side, her voice trembling as she cried out, "We need medics!" Leah shouted, her heart racing seeing Y/N's eyes closed. Leah reached out, placing her trembling hand on Y/N's cheek, hoping to rouse her. "Y/N, I need you to open your eyes for me. Hey, Y/N, come on. Open your eyes."
More teammates gathered around as panic swelled, their faces etched with worry. Jessie Fleming, Y/N's sister, dropped to the ground beside Leah. She reached out to shake her sister's shoulders, but Leah stopped her.
"You can't move her, Jessie," Leah cautioned, her voice strained with fear. "Her neck or back might be injured." Jessie nodded in understanding and opted to stroke little strands of her hair that have fallen from her ponytail, out of her face.
Leah and Jessie tried their best to awaken y/n but nothing seemed to work.
Finally, the team's medical staff arrived as well as medics, their expertise evident as they swiftly assessed the situation. They took every precaution to stabilize Y/N's neck and spine, carefully fitting a cervical collar around her and turning her over.
“We need some space guys.” The older medic informed Jessie and Leah but they remained in their spots. Jordan, McCabe, Kerr and a few other of their own teammates had to physically pull them back. They now stood a few feet away watching one of the medics speak to Y/N, trying to coax her into consciousness while another examined her vitals.
As the medics worked for a few minutes, Y/N's eyelids fluttered open, revealing her dazed and confused expression. She tried to sit up, but the medical staff gently held her down, reminding her not to move. Y/N mumbled incoherently, and Leah leaned closer, straining to catch her words before going right next to y/n side, hating the sight of seeing her so lost and scared. "It's okay, Y/N," Leah whispered, her voice trembling. "You had a tough collision, but the medics are here to help you."
“Y/n, you need to lay back down. Everything is going to be okay, but try not to move so much.” Jessie crouched down and spoke as she noticed her wanting to get up once again.
Y/N's consciousness wavered like a flickering flame. She struggled to comprehend her surroundings, her eyes darting aimlessly as confusion clouded her thoughts. Jessie's plea to stay still seemed to fall on deaf ears, and Y/N's movements grew more erratic.
Leah held her girlfriend's trembling hand, her voice quaking with concern. "Y/N, please, lay back down. You need to stay still. Everything is going to be okay." She desperately hoped her words would reach Y/N through the haze of her dazed state.
The medical staff worked with a sense of urgency, attempting to keep Y/N from further harm as she teetered on the edge of consciousness. They continued their assessments, monitoring her vitals, and told Leah and Jessie to try to keep y/n engaged in conversation to keep her awake.
Y/N's attempts to engage back in the conversation were sporadic and disjointed, and it became increasingly apparent that the injury was more severe than anyone had initially thought. Her responses were fragmented, and she struggled to maintain her focus.
Leah squeezed her hand, her voice trembling with worry. "Y/N, do you remember our first date? We went to that little café near your place, and it was pouring rain. You laughed when I slipped on a puddle."
Y/N's eyelids fluttered, but her gaze was unfocused. She mumbled, "Rain... yeah," but her voice was barely audible, and her response lacked the warmth and clarity it once held.
Jessie, trying to hold back tears, added, "And what about that time we played football in the park with Dad? You always said you'd be better than all of us."
Y/N's lips twitched in an attempt at a smile, but it was fleeting. "am... better," she mumbled, her words disjointed and distant. The memories, which should have elicited laughter and connection, now seemed to be slipping away from her grasp.
As Y/N's condition worsened, she suddenly gagged, her face contorted in pain, it was a distressing sight, and the medics reacted swiftly,  turning her onto her side to clear her airway and prevent any choking from the vomit that arose.
Leah's voice quivered as she tried to maintain Y/N's focus. "Y/N, stay with us. We're right here with you. Keep those beautiful eyes of yours open."
But Y/N's response was a mere groan, and her eyes slowly rolled back, her body growing limp. The medics exchanged concerned glances, realizing that her condition was rapidly deteriorating.
Without a moment to lose, they immediately placed an oxygen mask over her face, ensuring she received a steady flow of oxygen. Simultaneously, they carefully slid a backboard beneath her, immobilizing her spine and neck to prevent any further damage during transportation. Moments later, an ambulance sped onto the field. Y/N, still unconscious, was swiftly and gently transferred onto a stretcher, her body secured and placed into the ambulance. Leah and Jessie immediately followed behind inserting themselves into the ambulance not caring if they were in the middle of a match.
As the ambulance raced towards the hospital, the sound of the siren echoed in the confined space causing Y/N to begin to stir. Her eyelids fluttered open, and she found herself disoriented, with the oxygen mask covering her face. In her groggy state, she attempted to remove the mask, her hands reaching up to pull it away.
Leah noticed Y/N's movement and gently placed her hand over Y/N's to stop her. "It's okay, love," she reassured, her voice soft and soothing. "You need to keep that on for now. It's helping you breathe."
"Y/N, it's okay," Jessie whispered, her hand resting on Y/N's arm. "You're in the ambulance, and we're on our way to the hospital.”
Y/N's eyes shifted from Leah to Jessie, her gaze still hazy. She attempted to speak but found it difficult. The words came out slurred and unfocused. "Why...hospital?"
Leah's fingers gently brushed Y/N's hair back from her forehead. "You had an accident on the field, love. The medics are taking you to the hospital to make sure you're okay. We're here with you, and everything will be fine."
Jessie leaned closer, her voice soothing. "Just relax, Y/N. The hospital will take good care of you, and we'll be right there beside you."
Y/N, though still disoriented and in pain, found some comfort in their presence. She nodded weakly and allowed them to reposition the oxygen mask, focusing on their voices to keep herself calm.

Our New Beginning
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This small mini series is inspired by this anons' request here!
I found this absoloutely adorable to write and I hope that you all like it as well!
pairings: leah williamson x reader
summary: leah and reader have always wanted to start a family and that day finally comes true.
Tumblr media
You remember the day that you and your wife first planned to have a baby, just like it was yesterday.
For as long as you and Leah had been together, you had always been certain that you both wanted the same thing, which was to start a family and grow old together.
It was a forseeable dream that you both shared and you both knew it was only a matter of time before it happened.
"So, I was thinking," Your wife began, you were sat in your living room as the crisp autumn air filled the room, both of you sat with your fingers interwined. "I think we're ready," she stated.
"Oh, ready for what?" You couldn't hide the amusment in your voice.
"I think we're ready to start our own little family," Leah said, her eyes bright with anticpation at the thought.
You smiled and felt a surge of excitment mixed with nerves, "It's a big step, but I think so too. I can't imagine doing it with anyone else but you," you told your wife honestly.
Leah leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to your lips, "I love you," she whispered, "Lets' do this, let's have a baby," she said.
Tumblr media
In the weeks that followed, you and your wife drove headfirst into your preparations for journey towards parenthood. You had both done extensive research on fertility clinics, consulted with doctors and meticulously planned every little detail.
You decided you would be the one to carry, Leahs' football career was at a high right now and you didn't mind putting your career on the backburner to start a family with your wife.
It was clear that you were both just excited as one another, when one day you sneakily caught Leah browsing online for baby clothes.
"Really?" You asked your wife, a hint of amusement in your voice, "We're not even pregnant yet, love" The reminder from you was gentle, at the end of the day, you knew your wife was just looking forward to starting this journey together with you.
And the fact that your wife was a die-hard Arsenal fan, so of course she would be adamant that her own baby would therefore have their own kit, be damned.
"There's no harm in just looking," Leah waved off your tone of voice, "You can't not expect me to not get them one, our baby is going to be a Gooner, following in their mummy's footsteps. Arsenal runs through their blood," she joked with you, playfully.
"What if they don't even like football?" You challenged, amusedly.
Leah gasped and clutched her hand over her heart, "Arsenal will through their blood, whether they like it or not," she declared with a certain determination in her voice.
You couldn't help but chuckle and imagine your future together with your wife, filled with football games and family outings, "They'll be the cutest little Gooner," you replied, pulling Leah into a tight embrace.
Leah's excitement was palpable, already evisioning their little one wearing a tiny Arsenal shirt, "I can't wait to take them to their first match," she exclaimed, her eyes shining with joy.
Finally, the day arrived for you both to undergo the first IVF procedure, nerves fluttered in your stomach as the two of you sat in the waiting room, your wife holding your hand in comfort.
As you both were called into the doctors office, Leah squeezed your hand, her excitement was tinged with her own nervousness, "Whatever happens, we're in this together," she whispered, her voice steady with determination.
"We're in this together," You repeated with the same determination.
Tumblr media
You thought the IVF procedure would be the part that you were most worried about, but instead it was the the anxious waiting around for the results, that wait was the longest for sure.
Or at least it felt like it was.
Every single day with the lead up to taking the pregnancy test, the anticipation mounted and your nerves felt like they were never settled.
So many times, so many times you wanted to pick up the test and try it earlier than the recommended 2 weeks after the embryo transfer, it was hard to not do it.
You could say it was the same sort of feelings for your wife, especially when you found her up at all early hours in the morning, pacing back and forth with that small frown planted on her face that you would always teased her about, until the day where you could take the test.
You would always remember that special day, the day that changed both of your worlds' for the better.
Your dream had come true, finally.
"Le, come look at this a minute," You motioned your wife to join you, where you stood in the bathroom with a white stick balanced on the counter, the results clear as day.
2 very bold lines, you were pregnant.
Your wife was quick to bolt up from her seat on the sofa to join you in the bathroom, setting her eyes on the test as she gasped, "We're pregnant?" Leah whispered, tears of joy starting to stream down her cheeks as she stared down at the test in her hands.
"We're pregnant," You repeated, your voice trembling with emotion.
Leah's heart swelled with happiness as she wrapped her arms around you, holding you close, "We did it," she murmered, the tears still flowing down her cheeks.
In that moment, all the planning, all the nerves and the waiting faded away, it was replaced with an overwhelming sense of love and grattitude for your new addition to your little family and you both couldn't wait to welcome your little bundle of joy to the world.

The regular | Part 2 | Alessia Russo
Tumblr media
Pairing: Alessia Russo x Reader
Summary: Your cafe gains a new regular after Alessia's move to Arsenal.
Masterlist | Woso masterlist | words: 1.7k
Part 1 | Part 2
Alessia picks you up from your place and drives you to the restaurant you had both been wanting to try. It was a new place not far from the location of your shop. She reserved a table outside on the small patio the restaurant had. You both ordered a pizza and some drinks. You started up your earlier conversation again, getting to know each other. You learned about Alessia’s family, and she learned about your childhood. Her school and career, and your road to opening up your own cafe.
You were having a great time with Alessia. So much so that after sharing a desert, neither one of you wanted the date to end. That’s when you decided to walk around the town a bit. Your hand kept brushing against Alessia’s, until you finally got the courage to hold her hand. She gave your hand a reassuring squeeze, which made your heart flutter. After walking for about an hour you decide to head back, because Alessia has an early training the next morning, and you have the opening shift.. She drives you back home, and even gets out to walk you to your front door, her hand once again in yours. “Can I kiss you?” She asks softly when you reach the front door. You smile at her and tell her, “Yes, you can.” Alessia places her free hand on your cheeks and pulls you in for a short but sweet kiss. You wait by the front door, looking after Alessia with a smile, as she drives off into the distance.
The next morning Alessia walked into your cafe in full training gear, getting a coffee to go before her training session. “Good morning, sunshine.” She says, your smile reminding her of the warmth of the sun. “Hi Less, good morning. The regular?” She nods and you start getting it ready for her. Alessia leans on the counter to kiss your cheek, once you’ve handed her the to go cup. In the afternoon Alessia came back with some of her teammates. They came in when it was rather busy, so you weren’t able to talk to them much. Though, whenever you walked by you shot Alessia your signature smile. Before the girls left, Alessia asked if you would like to join her and some of the girls for a movie night. You agreed, and with a quick peck on your cheek she’s out the door again.
After your shift you take a quick shower and have some dinner before you head over to Alessia’s place. Stopping by the supermarket on your way, to get some snacks. When you ring the doorbell to the address that she had texted you, Katie opened the door. She took one look at the snack, and grabbed your arm to drag you inside. “You are a lifesaver, clumsy Lessi dropped the snack all over the floor already.” The rest of the girls cheer you on as you hold up the snacks. "Oi, Lessi, your girlfriend brought extra snacks." You blush at the girlfriend part but try to hide it, and make your way to the kitchen where you heard Alessia stumbling around. "Hey, Less, are you okay?" You say as you round the corner and see her pacing around. She comes to a halt and practically falls into your arms for comfort. You hold her tight and rub your hand over her back soothingly. "Sorry, I thought I had ruined movie night with my clumsiness." You put your hands on Alessia’s shoulders and gently put some space between the two of you, so that you could look her in the eyes. "Nothing is ruined, darling, I brought snacks."
After helping Alessia put the snacks in some clean bowls, you walk with her to the living room, where the rest of the girls had already set up the movie. You were a little nervous about being around Alessia’s friends and teammates in this setting as you didn't know them that well, but Katie, Leah, and Lia, made you feel a part of the group instantly. The movie started, Alessia sat down next to you. She didn't take long before cuddling into your side, you smiled, and put your arm around her. Moving your other hand to play with the rings on her fingers.
You stuck around a bit longer than the other girls. "Hey, so about what Katie said earlier." She looked at your face for any change in facial expression. "You know, the girlfriend part." You nodded along. "I don’t know why she said that, I didn't tell her we were like official, or anything." - "Don't worry about it, Less, I know she was just teasing you, plus I kind of like the sound of it." Your cheeks heat up again. "Yeah?" Alessia says hopeful. "Can I ask you?" You realized that she wanted to make sure that it was okay to ask you since you had only been on one date prior to tonight. That date and all the encounters at your cafe were all you needed to know your answer though, so you tell her she can. "Y/n, do you want to be my girlfriend?" Even while you knew that the question was coming, your heart still flutters. "Yes, I would love to be." Alessia pulls you in for a kiss. You deepen the kiss, your hands moving to her hips to bring her closer.
Since it was getting late, Alessia asked if you wanted to spend the night. You borrowed some of her clothes to sleep in, and spent the evening cuddling before you fell asleep in each other's arms. The next morning you wake up with Alessia’s arm still around you, you smile, and cuddle back into her side. You spend your morning at her place, it consisted of more cuddling, her making you breakfast, the occasional make-out session, and more cuddling. Eventually you had to make your way home, as you had to work the afternoon shift.
Every day after Alessia showed up at your cafe after training with a few of the girls. Until Saturday when a group of the girls walked in but Alessia wasn’t amongst them. Something didn’t feel right, so you walked up to them, “Hi ladies, no Lessi, today?” Katie tells you that she seemed a bit off at training but had told them everything was fine, and to go without her. You might not have known Alessia for a long time but something was telling you that things weren’t fine. You write down the table's orders and walk up to the counter where Mandy and James were talking amongst themselves. “Would either one of you be able to close tonight? I need to take care of something.” James happily agreed, and they both told you that they would be fine with you leaving early.
After grabbing Alessia’s usual order to go, you make your way over to her apartment. After a few knocks Alessia opens the door, you notice her puffed up eyes and tear stained cheeks. “Oh darling, what’s going on?” You ask as you take her into your arms, and close the door behind you. She tells you about how bad the reactions from the Manchester United fans affected her, and how it was making her feel like she wasn’t playing to her full potential, the potential that made Arsenal want her to join their team, and that she was very stressed about the game against Aston Villa tomorrow. You whisper encouraging messages in her ear while she cries onto your shoulder. Rubbing soothing circles over her back as you hold her. That night you decide to spend the night again, you did not want Alessia to be alone tonight.
The next day you spend the morning cuddling for some more comfort before the game. Before you let Alessia go get ready for the game, you gave her some final encouraging words. “You’ve got this, Lessi. You are going to be amazing, because you always play so well.” After a long hug you told her you would see her from your place in the crowd, cheering her on the whole game.
The game was really suspenseful. Arsenal had more possession and more shots but Aston Villa was in the lead with 0-1 since the 25th minute goal from Pacheco. You kept cheering on Alessia and the team, chanting with the rest of the fans. The minutes ticked down and the score was still 0-1, you were really hoping the team would win this one, knowing it would do Alessia good having some positive news. Some changes were made to the team, one of them being Beth. You were happy that she was getting her first minutes of playing time after her long recovery.
Twelve minutes of stoppage time was added to the second half, the crowd was trying to hype up the players on the field, keeping the hope high with the many attempts to bring the ball forward. And then two minutes into stopping time Katie hits the ball in the back of the net, and the crowd erupts, relieving all the buildup suspense. They had been fighting for the equalizer and after so many attempts the score was finally 1-1. The team celebrated for a moment before quickly moving on, finding some more strength to push forward. Pushing forward again Stina nearly scores the second but it hits the far post. You’re on your feet from the suspense building up again, you know they so badly want to win this game.
Not even two minutes later the ball falls to Beth’s feet in the box, she’s surrounded by Aston Villa defenders so passes the ball to Alessia. She steps in and shoots the ball right through the defense scoring the goal that put them in the lead. Beth and Vic jump into her arms, celebrating the goal with her, while the crowd goes wild. The rest of the girls join in on the celebration huddled up together. Katie turns the both of them away from the team and pushes Alessia to look at the Arsenal crowd. Even from the far distance that you were from her, you could see that she was beaming. You knew that this was exactly what she needed, and were so happy that she was finally able to achieve it. Not only did she score but she scored the winning goal. You were immensely proud of her.

“Your sick baby”- Leah Williamson x Female reader
Tumblr media
Request:
Would you do a Leah x Reader fic where Leah is sick. She refuses to admit in the morning because she’s stubborn but it becomes noticeable during training especially when she throws up. Reader and Leah go home and reader just takes care of her and makes sure she feels alright.
A/N: hope you enjoy I love this one 🫶🏻🫶🏻
————————————————
You woke up to the sound of your girlfriend getting dressed in the corner of the room. Your eyes fluttered open, expecting to see your girlfriend in her her normal lively self but instead was met with Leah struggling to pull her jersey over her head. It had been a hard year for your girlfriend with her acl injury last year, you had been there for her no matter what through the anger, tears and denial. All you wanted for her was to be happy. As you looked at her you could see the pain on her face as you sat up against the headboard of your bed it broke your heart to see. Indulged in your own thoughts you missed when Leah crouched down on the floor with her head in her hands.
“ lee what’s wrong” you said concern clear in your voice. “Nothing nothing!” She said almost too quickly to be believable, standing back up and continued to get dressed. You assessed every part of her as you stood up and looked into her eyes. “ lee… if your sick you need to rest” you said cautiously not wanting to anger or upset her. She immediately looked at you like a deer in the headlights the defensiveness coming back to her.
“ Y/N I’m fine” she lied imediently. Your concern deepened and Leah noticed this and immediately her eyes softened as she looked at you. “ baby seriously I’m gonna be fine I’ve got to go” she says before breaking into a coughing fit. You look at her unconvinced but you know how much training means to her so you give in. “ fine but I’m driving you there and back” you say swiftly making your way over to your wardrobe, throwing on jeans and a top, trainers and your puffer jacket before grabbing your car keys and following Leah into your car before making your way to the training park.
You could tell something was wrong. Her pale white face and the way she stumbled as she ran after the ball. She was not well. You sat in the stands watching the session as Kim little looked Up at you with an equally concerned look, you simply just sent her a thumbs down to show that you were also concerned about Leah.
After the session you walked down to the pitch to meet your girlfriend who looked even worse then she did before you left the house. She looked at you with guilt on her face she knew she should of stayed home. You wanted to be your stubborn self and say I told you so but the pain in your girlfriends face broke your heart. You immediately grabbed Leah and her bags and rushed into the car just wanting to get her home. During the car ride home you looked over to Leah as she suddenly gags in her mouth her face now as white as a ghost. You have never drove so fast probably breaking multiple laws but for one you did not want sick in your car and two you wanted Leah to be at home comfortably. As soon as you reached the driveway of your house, Leah rushed through the door immediately taking a b -line for the bathroom, you walked in behind her closing the door and dropping your bag on the floor as you rushed into the bathroom as Leah emptied her stomach into the toilet. You rubbed her back and she continued to throw up, when she had finished she sat up against the bathroom wall and you immediately sat I don’t of her. “ you okay baby” you cooed as she wiped her mouth with a piece of tissue. “ i feel better now” she said quietly. You helped Leah up the stairs into bed and then went to grab her a glass of water, as you walked back into the bedroom placing a bowl and a glass of water on Leah’s bedside table. “ thank you baby” she said croakily “you welcome hunny” you responded softly “ I’m just gonna go unpack your training bag” you said, Leah immediately protested “ no come get in bed y/n/n” she said trying out shout but failing as her voice broke. “ bub I’ll be two seconds you won’t even know-“ she cut you off with the sound of her groaning. “ please baby just come here” she said desperately. she looked like she was on the verge of tears and this made you crumble you gave in and climbed into bed next to her. It was gonna be a long couple of days and you were probably gonna catch all of the germs that she was carrying but you didn’t care your girl needed you and you was gonna be there.

Unspoken Feelings...
part 5.
social media au: Charlie Bushnell x Fem!Actress!Reader
Previously on Unspoken Feelings...
Your sitting there contemplating on whether or not you should really answer Charlie or not. You finally turn back on your phone and see a whole bunch of worried and missed calls from Walker, Dior, Leah, and Charlie... Oh god what have you done... Just as you were about to call them back you hear a knock on the door... Who could that be?
Now...
You get up and open the door seeing a worried Dior standing at the door.
"Oh thank god your ok!" she yells ut hugging you. You stumble back from the force of her hug a little bit and hug her back.
"I'm sorry. I just, I don't know how to tell Charlie." You say breaking down into tears again.
"Shhh... It's ok girl. He's on his way here. You have to just push through for now. You've got an interview coming up in a few hours so get some sleep and we'll figure it out later ok?" She says trying to reassure you in the best way possible. "I'll stay with you tonight, I love you!" She says lastly before guiding you to your bed.
"Ugh I love you too. What would I do without you?" You say smiling weakly. Your eyes flutter shut and you let sleep overtake you.
The next morning has arrived and you wake up. You don't see Dior next to you anymore so you assumed she went back home to tell her dad that she's ok.
You get up and brush your teeth and do your whole face routine before going back to your nightstand to pick up your phone.
You still see all the texts from Walker and Leah, and Charlie... You decide to call Charlie first. You press his name and listen to the phone ring.
When you feel like he's not going to answer you decide to hang up the phone but your thumb is stopped by the sound of his voice on the phone.
"Y/N!? Are you ok??? P-Please tell me your ok." The phone breaks up a bit but you hear his worried tone.
"Morning Charlie. I'm ok, I turned off my phone. I'm sorry for making you all worried especially you." You say feeling the tears come up in your eyes again.
You sniffle and try to get the words out but Charlie is quick to say something first.
"Pretty girl? Why are you crying?" He asks his heart feeling hurt as he hears your sniffles on the other line.
"I-I just, I don't know how to deal with all these feelings I have. The feelings I have f-for you..." You mutter out.
"You have feelings for me too? Cuz I also have feelings for you. I was scared to tell you because idk, you were giving me mixed feelings i guess. One minute were flirting and he next I feel like I'm in the friend zone again. You know what I mean?" He says as he paces around his hotel room.
"Yea, I know what you mean. The only reason I did that was because I always overthink things. I never knew if some days you were just flirting with me or just being nice. I never knew which one was happening so some days I would flirt and other days I'd shut myself out. I'm sorry Charlie."
"It's ok pretty girl. I love you yn. With all m heart. Your my future and probably the love of my life." He says chuckling into the phone.
That causes you to giggle and you feel all flustered. "I guess I'll see you at the Interview?"
"Yea, I'll see you there."
"Bye Charlie."
"Bye baby."
Your mood suddenly lifts at his voice. At the way he called you baby, pretty girl and the way he comforted you. God what did you do to deserve a man like Charlie.
You decide to text the groups chat and let everyone know your ok. Finally you check the time and start to get ready. You ordered some breakfast and indulged while you watched some TikTok.

Leah!!!! How are you lovely!!!! May I slide in with a yuuta + “I want to watch you” 👉🏽👈🏽
NSFW 18+ MINORS AND AGELESS BLOGS WILL BE BLOCKED
cw: afab!reader, masturbation, voyeurism, fingering, anything for you princess okkotsu
...
yuuta doesn't know why he says it, or what comes over him in the heat of the moment.
but you're here, kissing his neck so softly and the feeling of your thighs against his is such a tease. and then you're asking him what he wants and before he can stop himself, the words are already dripping from his mouth like water when he breathes—
"i want to watch you."
he feels the subtle hesitation of your tongue flicker against his skin and he's positive his heart has stopped beating. slowly, you pull away from the crook of his neck to look at him, but yuuta dodges your stare.
"watch me?" your voice is gentle, laced with confusion or maybe interest, but he can't tell yet. he's too afraid to look you in the eyes right now and god, he's still so rock hard it hurts.
you watch him swallow dryly, his adam's apple bobbing before he cautiously nods, unsure of himself. "unless, you aren't into that, or wouldn't be comfortable, or something. sorry, i don't know why i—"
"no, no," your smaller hands find his jaw—a feeble attempt to calm his nerves, but it works. because he finally looks at you with those wet-doe eyes when you reassure him, "no, don't apologize."
slowly, as if you're afraid he'll scurry at any sudden movements, you crawl off of him. no longer on top of his body but now laying back for him to properly see you, all of you, your body relaxes against the mattress.
yuuta feels like his head is spinning while he watches you get comfortable, eyes still on him as your hand painfully creeps down your body.
"if that's what you want," your voice trails off as your hand does, slowly and shakily dancing beneath the waistband of your panties as it gets closer to where you want him. need him.
but because of him, for him, your hand will have to suffice for now.
"if you wanna watch me," your breath is shaky when you swipe a finger between your velvet folds, hiccuping at the touch combined with the heat of yuuta's intense stare, "then watch me."
it almost feels like a challenge, the way you're holding his gaze while gently playing with yourself. yuuta can't see exactly what your finger is doing, but he knows your expressions well enough to let his imagination run wild where your hand is covered by the thin, damp cloth.
he knows that you like to be teased a bit, fingers gently sliding between your folds to gather slick. how you like slow circles on your clit, how it makes your hips stutter as they buck for more pressure. he knows how your eyebrows furrow when he finally pushes a finger inside.
he watches you carefully, hungrily, and when you finally stop teasing yourself and allow a finger to slip inside of your dripping pussy, it's almost too much for him to bare.
"oh, fuck me," he nearly drools, closing and rubbing his eyes in an attempt to collect himself, to confirm that this is real. he isn't dreaming.
"yuuta," your sweet voice coos, almost teasingly when you scold him, "you're not watching."
a tiny whimper is heard before yuuta's eyes are on you once more. the show continues a little bit longer, you bringing yourself closer to your aching peak and him trying his very best not to audibly gasp and moan along with you.
lost in the moment, you jump a bit a the sudden feeling of his hands on your hips. they slowly make their way down to replace where yours are eagerly rubbing and curling between your legs.
he replicates your movements but better, like he knows you inside and out, knows what you like and just how you like it.
between quickened breaths and fluttering eyes, you can't help but playfully remind him.
"what happened to watching me?" you tease through a moan-laced smile.
yuuta savors your sensitive expressions with awe, almost copying them himself when he grins lovingly.
"oh," he promises, "i'm still watching you."

A year later
The morning sun filters through the blinds, casting a warm glow that gently penetrates the small gaps in your closed eyes. With a sleepy squint, you flutter your lashes as you gradually emerge from a deep slumber. Shifting your head from the pillow, a hand extends out from the cozy depths of the blanket, wrapping around your frame.
“Stop it…” a groaning voice protests.
“You're the one who wanted to share my bed,” you mumble, nuzzling into their chest. “Face the consequences.”
They respond by pulling you into a tighter embrace, their arms enveloping you, and their chin finds a comfortable perch on the crown of your head. “Fine,” they mutter, the warmth of their breath brushing against your hair.
As the two of you engage in this intimate morning ritual, another head pops into view. With a bemused expression, she scrutinizes the scene, her presence intruding on the moment that might seem suspicious to any outside observer. Her eyes, filled with curiosity, take in the details of the shared embrace, brimming in a playful curiosity.
"Minji, you're suffocating her.”
“I'm not…” Minji growls, her voice weak and sluggish.
“Maybe a little,” you manage to squeak, though the amusement in your tone is evident.
Finally, Minji releases you, her fingers gently loosening their grip, and she chooses to bury herself underneath the covers in a futile attempt to shield herself from the intrusion of the morning light. The soft rustling of blankets marks the end of the embrace, and you feel the lingering warmth on your skin as she seeks refuge from the brightness. Turning your attention to your savior, Gyuri, you find her already poised and ready to embrace the day. She stands with a graceful confidence, her attire impeccable and thoughtfully chosen for the day ahead. The morning sunlight catches the subtle details of her outfit, casting a gentle glow on her figure.
“Thank you.” You said with a voice devoid of consciousness.
“We can’t begin our morning with manslaughter,” Gyuri responds with a chuckle, her tone retaining its bubbly and inviting quality.
Sweeping the room with a more deliberate scrutiny, your discerning gaze catches a subtle irregularity. "We're short one."
“Breakfast served for my lovely ladies.”
Haru makes her presence known along a tray full of breakfast painted in shades of red and pink. From eggs to ham, and scones to her specialty pancakes, glistening in the honey gloss of the syrup and valentine sprinkles topping it all off. A grin stretches across your face as you're drawn in by the irresistible aroma, prompting you to join in and assist your friend in the pleasant surprise.
“Haru, you shouldn’t have,” you gush.
“Can't have our Galentine weekend without heart-shaped pancakes. Or bacon.”
“I’m up,” Minji stirs from her slumber, immediately alert at the mention of her favorite morning food.
A burst of excitement surged through the group as you and your friends hurriedly converged, exchanging laughter and animated banter. The anticipation of the upcoming meal heightened as each of you took turns crafting plates, carefully selecting and arranging a delectable array of food to share in bed. The air buzzed with a vibrant energy, a communal spirit filling the space as the aroma of the feast enveloped everyone. It starts your morning off right.
Since the fiasco that was ‘Choi Seungcheol must die,’ your public persona has evolved significantly from being labeled as the girl who supposedly shattered the campus heartthrob's—well—heart to normal girl once again. While a handful may still harbor disdain, you've garnered admiration from many others, including the lovely ladies seated around you sharing a meal. Despite have all dated the same man at least once, you've managed to forge genuine connections, finding common ground and shared interests that transcend your ex.
Basking in the sisterhood of this unique friend group proved to be a breath of fresh air. The unwavering support from these like-minded women has become a source of comfort, and you find yourself smiling at the regularity with which their presence graces your life.
"Oh," Gyuri polishes off the last bite of her syrup-soaked pancake and casually drops the bomb, "We should go to the Valentine fair in town. It’ll be cute and fun. All of the guys would be there too.”
“Will Mingyu be there?” Minji muses, a sly grin curling her lips.
“Minji, really?”
Minji playfully waves her fingers over her face, emphasizing the importance of facial features. “I’m just saying, good looks run in your family. Didn’t stop at you or your fine ass brother.”
Gyuri rolls her eyes. “Gross.”
“Come on, I deserve a chance. Y/n did.”
“Pardon,” you ask with a mouthful of eggs. You swallow the remaining food, thanking Gyuri, who wipes food from the corner of your lips.
"Yeah, the gorgeous guy you rejected, who's still holding onto feelings for you, along with my little brother, by the way. It’s about time he has someone new to look at and I can be that someone. If only his thoughtful little sister would steer him my way."
Gyuri lightly nudges the girl, nearly knocking off her glasses before he regains her posture. “I am not setting you two up. You both annoy me enough as is. I can’t imagine what’d happen if you were together.”
“You hate me. Just say that.”
“Minji…” Gyuri warns. “You know that’s not true.”
“Gyuri hates me,” Minji whines shedding fake tears. “She despises the potential of me being a sister-in-law.”
The youngest in the group, Gyuri sighs, shaking her head as though unimpressed by the antics of her older friend who lacks the mental maturity expected of her age. Her expression hints at a weariness, a silent playful disapproval of Minji’s snarky attitude, exhibiting a wisdom that belies her youth.
The collective smiles from you and the rest of the women in the room signal another good day, and you wouldn’t have it any other way.
Tumblr media
The air carries a crispness that beckons to be inhaled, immersing you in the delightful blend of the sweetest aroma from freshly baked goods and the rich fragrance of the hottest, freshly brewed espresso. You're glad to have join in on the festivities, rest assured that you’d have company, even if that company included a couple.
Minji playfully feigns distaste. "Come on, Haru, it's Galentine's, and you bring your fiancé?"
Haru casually strolls alongside your group of friends, hand in hand with Junhui, who recently earned himself and Haru a newly coined label. She grips his hand just a little tight as her other arms clasped over his bicep. “But he’s such cute eye candy, plus I know he's been dying to come to this festival too.”
The fact that they got together no longer bothers you; in fact, you've come to realize it's for the better that they did. They couldn't be more perfect for each other, and the warmth of their connection is evident. As you reflect on the realization that a romantic relationship with Junhui was never in the cards for you, you find yourself smiling now. Despite your initial feelings, you're genuinely happy he found someone who loves him enough to commit to marriage. You weren’t so sure if you could’ve filled such shoes had it been you.
The grown man sticks out his tongue and Minji returns the gestures, tugging you and Gyuri by her side just as tight. “You two would never betray me for a man.”
"No, but you'd make an exception for a Mingyu," Gyuri points out, a fact made evident from this morning. "Speaking of which…"
Your attention is drawn to the lanky figure making his way toward you. His face lights up with a warm smile, and his arms open wide and inviting. "Guys!" he calls out enthusiastically, his expression and body language eager to greet his dearest friends.
"Mingyu!" Minji exclaims, wasting no time as she runs into his arms, momentarily startling him before he warmly reciprocates her embrace. "It’s nice to see you, Minji. I’m sure Seokmin is here somewhere."
She scoffs, clutching tighter. "I didn’t ask."
He chuckles, gently patting her on the back until she releases him. "You all look beautiful today, especially my darling sister," he says, pulling Gyuri into the tightest of embraces.
"Stop," Gyuri protests, pushing him away. "You'll ruin the hair."
“Spoiled as ever. So what do you guys wanna do first?”
The question appears to be a general inquiry, but you can't help but notice the glance thrown in your direction, almost as if he's anticipating your response. You simply shrug, mumbling a "not sure" under your breath. He hums, conjuring an idea while everyone else discusses possible plans.
"Well, if it helps, maybe there are a couple of things I thought we could consider doing."
Tumblr media
“A haunted house? On Valentine’s day?”
“Don’t you know couples love scary movies?” Mingyu responds to Haru's question with a playful counter.  “You and Jun can go, and then–”
“Me and Mingyu!” Minji chimes in, taking his arm.
Mingyu politely smiles. “We could do that, or,” he takes you with his other arm, “We can come as a party. Use it as a test of courage.”
“A test?” Gyuri inquires with a taunting grin. “A test where you scream like a little girl and you get hurt because it’s too dark inside?”
Mingyu shoots a momentary glare at his sister, the edges softened by a hint of amusement, before his eyes shift into a silent plea. "Who knows? Perhaps amidst the chills of the show, you might accidentally find a guy you're meant to be with," he suggests, a playful yet hopeful undertone in his words.
“I’ve already met my guy,” Minji says. “But if it’s what Mingyu wants, we should go.” Her gaze shifts to the already-established couple. “Mom and dad first.”
“Minji, you’re older than me,” Haru states matter of fact.
“Until you break the engagement, you’re mom and dad.”
You proceed in the designated order, walking behind the couple as they lead the way into the haunted house. The remaining four of you huddle closely, a tightly-knit. You find yourself positioned at the edge, where the suspenseful anticipation of what lies ahead intensifies as you step into the dimly lit entrance of the eerie attraction. The air is thick with harmonious trepidation and the fear of unknowing, anticipating every possible jumpscare.
Mingyu, the largest of the group, ironically turns out to be the biggest scaredy-cat among you. Just as his sister predicted.
“What’s that?” he would shout. “He’s gonna jump out—damn, why did that look so real? OK—WHO OR WHAT TOUCHED ME?”
Before long, he starts darting off on his own, but Minji makes sure to hastily follow behind. Meanwhile, Gyuri vanishes amid her brother's episode, somehow amplifying the fear as he frantically searches for her. You attempt to keep up as best as you can, but your best falls short when you find yourself alone, struggling to locate even the exit.
"Uh, guys?"
You don’t know how you managed to do it, but there you were, standing frozen in the dimly lit corridors of the poorly made haunted house, a chill creeping down your spine. The creaking wooden floorboards and flickering lights creates an eerie enough atmosphere to make you wish you hadn’t made fun of it earlier. The playful screams and laughter of your friends now feels distant as an unfamiliar unease settles over you, turning what was supposed to be a casual haunt into a genuinely unsettling experience.
A split second later, a masked volunteer leaps out, causing you to stumble backward and collide with the person who materializes behind you—a solid, firm chest greeting you. Swiftly apologizing, you turn your head, locking eyes with the unexpected stranger. It takes a moment to register, but disbelief gives way to recognition as he smiles. His complexion, illuminated by the inconsistent lighting, exudes a radiance that you find oddly captivating.
Impulsively, you clutch at the fabric of his clothes, pulling yourself closer. "How are you here right now? You're supposed to be studying Europe."
Chan, a welcome sight, continues to smile warmly as he assists in guiding you out of the haunted house, his presence a comforting contrast to the lingering shadows and cheap Halloween supplies.
“We finished early about a week ago. I wanted to be a surprise.”
While you spent the remainder of your college years at the local university, Chan chose to venture abroad, a decision made in the aftermath of the Seungcheol incident. A clear sense of satisfaction is evident on his face as you take your time retracing the features of his face that have now matured in your time apart.
“Oh my god, how are you? How was Italy? You look… amazing.”
He chuckles at your ceaseless chatter, intertwining arms with you along the entire path. “I'm well, still adjusting to the time difference. Italy was filled with great food, great wine, but, sadly, no you. I made do, though.”
You playfully elbow him, unable to contain the smile spreading across your face. “You never stop. God, the others will be so happy to see you!”
Upon reaching the exit, Chan, with a playful glint in his eye, deftly guides you around a concealed corner. The mischievous grin on his face deepens, and he suggests, "I have a better idea: we meet them later after you and I have a chance to catch up.”
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU LOST Y/N?” Seokmin's voice echoes through the chaotic atmosphere, laced with a touch of frustration.
"Go, go, go." Chan, immediately recognizing the urgency, deftly propels you forward, skillfully navigating through the crowd. With a sense of urgency, he guides you towards more private quarters.
Tumblr media
“I can't believe Seungcheol's a dad now. A lot happens in a year,” you remark, savoring the indulgence of your double scoop brownie delight, the rich chocolate flavors mingling with the conversation, as you relaxed by the campus’s lake side.
Chan kitten licks his mint chocolate cone, savoring a sweet taste that he misses so much.“Yeah. I’m an actual uncle. It’s weird, but parenthood has done him a lot of good. He’s a lot different than he was back then.”
“How's he managing it all? Girlfriend in the picture, I'm guessing?”
He shrugs. “They're giving it a shot. Seems like she'll stick around, and Cheol might too. I've never seen him look at a girl the way he looks at his own daughter. They all look happy together. She’ll keep him grounded.”
“Now he’ll start defending his daughter from guys like him when she gets to his age one day. Cosmic Karma.”
Chan chuckles. “He better or I'm stealing her away and raising her myself.”
“So, how’s it been for you? What’s Italian Chan like?” you inquire humorously, reaching the sweet waffle cone.
“Still Chan. Just know the difference in wine now and why pasta should never be broken in half.”
You take a deep breath, mustering the strength to voice the question that has been swirling in your mind. The weight of the inquiry presses against your chest, and you can't help but wonder how much this very question has occupied your thoughts. Finally, you manage to ask, "Anyone special to you?"
He glances at you thoughtfully, smiling as he let out small bittersweet sigh. “There was...but I let her go. I tried dating while I was in Italy, no one right for me though.”
“Hmm.”
As you mull over his words, Chan's eyes drift into the realms of distant memories, a wistful gaze reflecting the moments he reluctantly left behind, “What about you? I can’t help but overhear you tried it out with Seungkwan while I was gone.”
You chuckle, the memory painting a genuine smile across your face. “And boy, was that awkward. We only stood a chance as friends. My dating life hadn’t been much of anything these days.”
A familiar glint dances in his eyes as he indulges in his ice cream. “I see.”
“Don’t go looking too happy.”
“What? I’m devastated. My OTP.”
You laugh, lightly shoving him, remembering how much he really did make you laugh. There wasn’t a person that made laugh the way he did. “Shut up.”
“So…no one special for you either, hmm?”
You meet his gaze, a flicker of earnest crossing your expression before you shake your head. “No.”
Silence settles between you, a moment pregnant with unspoken thoughts and emotions. When your ice cream is gone, your hand itches for something else to hold. The air becomes charged with a quiet wonder, both of you reminiscing in the shared moments—the sleepovers, the messages between lines that you told one another. There’s peace in this space you share, as well as bitterness in the possibility that has yet to arise.
“Do you remember what we said, after that third night straight you slept over at my place?”
Your mind drifts back to that moment. The air was filled with the aroma of fried chicken for dinner, and Chan had effortlessly polished off five beers. It was one of those nights you wished could last forever, where the outside world faded into the background, leaving only Chan in its wake. “Not sure,” you respond.
“Right people, wrong time,” he repeats. “That we would’ve probably gotten along a lot better if we met under different circumstances. If it wasn't for what I was going through or what you were going through, we might’ve been right together.”
Your cheeks flush, and you internally curse yourself for momentarily forgetting. It was one of the most intimate moments you've ever shared, and surprisingly, sex wasn't even involved. Despite all the heartfelt words exchanged in that moment of vulnerability, you had half-expected him to have forgotten about it by now. “What about it?” you inquire, trying to keep your composure amidst the resurfacing emotions.
He leans in, licking evidence of dessert off his fingers. “I thought about that a lot when I was away. How we worked together was great. How you made hours pass by like minutes, minutes like seconds.”
“You thought about me, hmm?” You tease.
“I was in the most romantic city in the world and all I could think about was how you’d love it here, so yeah. I thought about how better it would’ve been with you even if I knew you’d wretch at the smell of squid form the squid ink pasta.”
As Chan speaks, you notice the subtle shifts in his expression, the glimmers of nostalgia and contemplation in his eyes. A moment of quiet lingers between you, the unspoken acknowledgment of what could have been. The weight of untold emotions hangs in the air, and you attempt to break that down.
“...You would’ve tried forcing that into me.”
His laughter feels like medicine for longing. “Maybe I would’ve.”
“Why are you bringing all this up to me? Professing your love, huh, Lee Chan?” you challenge.
“And if I am?”
“Chan…we shouldn’t.”
His eyes dim, appearing as if he expected this response yet still disappointed. “Why not…”
“We said why–”
“Because we were both vulnerable? Fragile? Susceptible to hurting each other because we were interested in other people. Y/n, I haven't thought about Haru since I saw her here at this festival because all I could think about is you.” As the words linger in the air, Chan's admission leaves a charged energy between you. The festival surroundings seem to fade into the background as the unspoken tension and emotions build.
Your hands bunch up your pants at the knees, and you pull yourself up from the grass. “Chan…”
He follows, determined to stay by you. “We’re not who we were a year ago. There’s nothing else holding us back. Not our friends. Not my brother. Not any unrequited feelings. Just me and you.”
You've pondered this ever since you realized your feelings, sometime after he left. How you'd long at him, how he looked at you. Whether he still had feelings for Haru or if he somehow harbored interest in you. Or course, you wanted this but was any time the right time? “...Right people.”
“Wrong time, but that’s not the case anymore,” he steps closer, his presence enveloping you, and he cups your face in his hands. The warmth of his touch is both comforting and electrifying. “I want to try it with you because, knowing you, we work damn well together. We deserve that. We deserve this more than anyone.”
You shake your head, recognizing the stolen quote. Lips stretched over your face, and you take half a step closer. “Screw you.”
Not giving him the chance to react, you capture his lips instead, savoring the familiarity. The the soft rustle of the wintertime breeze and the distant of other people only served itself as background that becomes te white space on now your vividly painted canvas. In that stolen moment, the world narrows down to the warmth of the kiss, an electric charge passing between you and Chan, and longing grip of his hands claiming your body. Each second is written meticulously into a story that you both finally decide to explore, the delay only proving that all had been worth the wait.

Hi Leah! I had an idea for Hangman. Please no pressure but what if he had a run in with his ex? Something witty for sure! Like Mark Sloan sort of vibes if you get my drift.
Hahaha bet. The Mark Sloan reference gave me LIFE. I can see this happening with ex wife reader? Like an I still love you but this shits not working ex wife—still has his last name ex wife. Still fuck occasionally ex wife. Still hasn’t done anything proactive to go over the wedding band he’d had tattooed.
Tumblr media
“Who’s the blonde?” Shooting his shot Jake caught the sight of the blonde talking to Penny by the bar. The tan active service uniform catching his attention.
“Dunno—didn’t see her come in.” Coyote frowns. His arms crossed as he tried to get a read on the back of you. Anything that would give him an idea as to who it was sitting at the bar.
“Well, excuse me—“ Jake smirked as he handed Coyote his pool cue. Making a B line directly for the bar. A space left just for him beside you. “Must suck being on active duty on a Sunday afternoon? All the way out here in Miramar as well—“ He thought he was being so smooth, sliding in with ease beside you as Penny looked at him wide eyed and shocked. There’s no way Jake didn’t recognise his own wife. Well—ex wife?
This should be good.
“I don’t believe we’ve met? I’m Hang—“ Turning to face your ex husband Jake turned the colour of Casper the friend ghost. “Ahh—! What the fuck did you do to your hair!?” God this couldn’t be happening. Your ex husband looking at you as if he didn’t recognise you.
“I changed it.” Running your hand through your hair nervously. Was there something wrong with it? “I coloured it—I just.” Then it hit you like a tone of bricks. Jake Seresin, your legal husband although technically separated, was trying to hit on you. “Wait—you thought I was someone else!”
“What! C’mon Hawkeye don’t be ridiculous.” Jake tried to shrug his obvious mistake off as he reached out to take a sip of your beer. Smacking his hand away you pointed your finger into his chest. Swing around on your chair, your knees in between his.
“You didn’t know it was me and you were trying to hit on me!?” It hurt just a little that Jake hadn’t recognised you, but then again, you couldn’t hold it against him. It had been a few months and you had changed your hair quite dramatically. From a distance and after some time? Perhaps it was possible to forget what you looked like from the back. Although, he’d seen you from behind enough to know the horny details.
“No! No—I pretty much just thought you were, you know.” Under his breath Jake finished his sentence, looking back at Coyote who couldn’t stop laughing. “Just some blonde.” Looking anywhere but your eyeline, up down left and right Jake avoided your gaze. But he still felt the burn.
“Yeah, real mature Jake, pathetic, and slutty—“ Before you really had a chance to rip in any further Jake cut you off with a smirk so fine it had your heart melting. You missed him. So much.
“And you are no blonde!” He missed you, like crazy. “You can’t pull that off.”
“Kinda already am.” Hissing with a cynical smirk you leaned a little closer, your hand on Jakes knee. “Got you lookin—didn’t I?”
“Blondes are either badass or fun, and you’reyou’re a brunette!” You let your eyes linger from Hangman’s to his lips and back. A split second of weakness. “Eyes up here honey.” Jake beamed, biting his bottom lip as you pushed off of him. Sitting up straight in your chair. “It’s good to see you.”
“Spare me the crap Jake.” Taking a long sip of your beer, Hangman watched your lips as they pressed against the lip of the beer bottle. Damn. Letting out a soft growl as he stood, Jake came to stand behind you. His hands fell to your shoulders as he flipped your hair to one side. Coming down to gently kiss you cheek as you hummed, leaning back against his chest as your hand instinctively came up to rest on-top of his.
“I’m serious, it’s good to see you—Mrs Seresin.”
It made your heart flutter, how desperately you both wanted things to work out. But they just never did. Neither of you were willing to let the other go permanently. Legally bound to each other for eternity. In holy matrimony.
“Call me that again and you’ll know what it’s like to meet God.” Turning your head to face Jake as he peered over your shoulder. You kissed him softly on his lips as the rest of the TopGun pilots watched on. Confused—who was the blonde? Coyote knew, he’d been the only one too see the storm that had brought the calm. Slowly pulling away as Jake let his forehead drop against yours. Just for a moment he’d pretend that you were actually his, that things were good. Because when they were good? Things were great. When things were bad? Well—that’s another ball game entirely.
“But yeah, it’s good to see you too.”

romance II a.russo & l.williamson ~
since you all enjoyed so much :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(seriously the inbox has been flooded with requests for more leah and alessia.) but it's fine i love you all x
★ a.russo & l. williamson
alessia
every night, since you shared the news that you had finally fallen pregnant, a couple of new rituals had taken place in your home. alessia, your girlfriend, had taken it upon herself to make sure that the baby knew exactly who her mama's would be when they were born. meaning, that every night when the sun began to set, alessia would would light a few scented candles and place them around your bedroom. which to your surprise, allowed you to slowly unwind after a long day on your feet. she would then select a playlist she had created for you on her phone, which was a mix of calm music you had begun to appreciate over the months.
the blonde would tear your laptop away from your hands, reminding you that you had already done a hefty amount of work, to which you would remind her that you weren't technically meant to be on maternity leave until next month. although, she never really listened to you anyway.
guiding you up the stairs, the girl would allow you to relax your tired limbs onto her own, rubbing soothing patterns into your swollen sides. whispering sweet words into your ear. making your way into your bedroom, alessia began to tear away your clothes, kissing each part of your body as she fully undressed you. there was nothing sexual about her kisses, they were solely an act of intimacy the blonde used to ground your mind after a harsh day in the office.
alessia smoothly directs you to the bathroom, flicking on the lights as she makes her way past. she gently pulled you into her arms, sliding her hands underneath your thighs, before carefully lifting you up and onto the bathroom counter. she grabbed your chin softly, turning your head towards the mirror.
alessia made it her personal mission to make sure that any thoughts you had about your body that arose during your pregnancy were ridden from your mind.
alessia was constantly reminding you how beautiful you were, the small affirmations flowing effortlessly from her lips, like clockwork for the blonde. the little gestures such as; writing you notes when she made you breakfast every morning, taking photos of your belly through each stage of your pregnancy, talking your ear off about what she imagines your baby to be like, - which actually just consisted of her describing what an amazing striker they would be and all the things she planned to teach your child.
she simply just did those little things that made you fall in love with her all over again.
"so beautiful, my beautiful girl." she murmured lowly, your heart fluttered as her arms wrapped tightly around your pregnant belly. you felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the blonde, and it only seemed to grow stronger each day.
she lead you to the shower, making sure the water was not too cold and not too warm, something you paid such close attention too. pulling you into her arms, she maneuvered her body tightly against your own, letting the water fall gracefully on you both. she shifted you, so that your back was facing the stream of water and she began to lay kisses onto your collarbones, hands working tirelessly at your tense shoulders.
she dug her fingers into your hips, trying desperately to release any tightness she could. she weaved her fingers gently into you hair, massaging a light shampoo into your neglected locks. you rarely had the time for any type of selfcare, and your girlfriend was adamant that if you wouldn't take care of yourself, then she would.
she covered your body in a thick body wash, lightly moving her hands over every inch of your body, leaving small patterns where she could. she was kneeling at your feet now, lifting her chin upwards, so she could look up and place kisses on your stomach. she gently massaged each stretch mark, her fingers doing wonders to release the tension in your swollen body. placing kisses on each mark on your body, she picked herself off the ground, before grabbing the sides of your face in a passionate kiss.
the blonde moved her lips against your own, her tongue exploring each part of your mouth, as if she had never before. she kissed you as if she had never before, but also as if she never would again. she wrapped her arms around your stomach, placing her manicured hand on your side, the other sliding down to clasp your hands togethers.
drying off, alessia made a huge deal that only she could dry and your baby off, as she apparently knew best. she placed yet more kisses to every part of your body, before kissing you sweetly on your forehead. she cradled your head in her hands, pecking your nose, which you lightly scrunched.
your girlfriend then again, lifted your pregnant body onto the counter, her hands laying dormant on your thighs. bending down to open the drawer next to her, she picked out a headband and placed it over your head, smoothing down your hair as she did so. alessia massaged a light moisturiser into your face, careful to stray the cream away from your eyes. she positioned her thumbs underneath your eyes, softly applying an eye cream, soothing away the signs of tiredness.
"all done, my love," the blonde whispered lightly into your hair, smiling up at you. you tried to get down off the counter by yourself, but instead a pair of hands wrapped around your thighs, and you were lifted into your girlfriend's chest.
alessia carried you into your bedroom, the rooms were connected, something you were grateful you had pushed for when deciding where to live. the blonde lifted the covers, gently lowering you onto the bed. she settled next to you, pulling the duvet up to your chin, her hand finding your waist.
she encased your body with her arms, attempting to pull you on top of herself. "no less, i'll crush you," a reference to your growing baby bump. "no you won't, i'm big and strong." she responded stubbornly. "did you hear that baby? you're going to be big and strong like me one day." the blonde asked, head propped up against your stomach. you rolled your eyes, tugging lightly on her hair to bring her up for a kiss.
"my beautiful girl."
leah
you felt your wife hum contendently into your sternum, her warm breath gently tickling your skin. you lay there wrapped in each others embrace, the blonde's hair dishevelled over your chest. the soft london weather just sweeping through the window, you felt the sun wash softly over your face.
it was a rare day off from both your relentless lives, your internationals and club schedule lining up perfectly to give you both a much needed break from your fast paced careers. being able to have a moment to pause was important, and something you would always make time for, no matter how hard.
you let out a content sigh, tangling your fingers through the hair of your lover, gently scratching her scalp. you looked down at the blonde, her arms wrapped tightly around your midsection, her hands laying protectively on your growing bump. ever since you had revealed to her that you were pregnant, she had become even more clingy than she had been before, it was rare for your body not to be connected to hers in some way.
leah's mouth pressed against your belly, a tender kiss that looked as if it was meant for the baby, even as she remained in a deep sleep. you watched her for a moment, the soft rise and fall of her chest against yours, the usual tightness in her face now relaxed.
you watched the clock on the wall, you eyes following the black arms as they travelled past each number. as the hours went by, the blonde slowly began to wake up, her eyelashes gently fluttering against your arm, which she has nestled her head into.
your fingers gently brushed along leah's back, the pale buttons of her pyjamas having come undone through the night. your sheets had enveloped you both warmly, and you lay together in the middle of your bed.
the birds outside were just beginning to sound their chirps, when the sound of insistent knocking jolted you awake, their melody falling silent against your window. muffled voices could be heard from the other side of the door, unmistakably belonging to your australian teammates, - steph and kyra.
"come on, girls! everyone's waiting in the car. let's move it!" steph's voice felt impatient, as her loud knocking on your door never faltered. "whatever lovemaking you're doing can happen tonight! hurry up!" the younger girl chimed in, and you could hear a faint painful grunt, as no doubt she had copped a jab to the arm for her comment.
of course you thought it was a smart idea to include your house in the communal key chain, even if leah had tried desperately to talk you out of it. you claimed it was a safety measure, to which she replied, "the only hitlist you're on is mine baby." but now, you were certainly cursing yourself for your stupid judgement, of course this was bound to happen.
"sorry stephy!" you yelled out apologetically, struggling to you remove yourself from your wife, who was determinedly sticking to your body. the incessant knocking ceased, as the older girl gave her last warning and went to settle in your living room.
"come on love." you said sadly, rubbing you hand up and down her arm. leah, however, was in no rush to leave, her cheeky nature meaning she was always ignoring the likes of her teammates, and often getting herself into trouble.
"darling, we really should get up," you whispered, running your fingers through her hair. "just a few more minutes," she mumbled, her voice muffled against your skin. you chuckled, knowing all too well that leah's 'few more minutes' could easily turn into an hour.
she groaned softly, the sound vibrating against your pregnant belly as she buried her head further into it, seeking refuge from the long day of team bonding that was waiting outside her door. you giggled at her, your hand cupping her hair, as you curled inwards. her muffled voice came through, heavy with sleep, "do we really have to go?"
you chuckled softly, running your fingers through her hair in an attempt to rouse her. "come on, babe, the team's waiting. and you know how steph gets about us being late." but leah was acting stubborn, her body heavy with the desire to stay curled up in bed with you. the warmth of the bed and the presence of your growing baby seemed to weigh her down, anchoring her in your open arms.
again the blonde groaned, head planting carefully into your stomach, trying to relish in the last moments of the day she would have alone with you. kyra's voice rose again from outside your room, this time a hint of warning in her words, "we're going to start counting down, leah! don't make us come in there!"
gently, you nudged the girl, encouraging her to rise. "we can't keep the team waiting," you reminded her.
this elicited a playful grumble from Leah, who finally lifted her head, her eyes meeting yours with a sleepy yet affectionate gaze. "fine, fine, we're up, don't come in." she conceded, though her movements were slow and exaggerated as she chuckled at herself. with a gentle push and a shared smile, you both began to untangle yourselves from each other.
"alright, let's do this, baby" leah said with a stretch, straining her neck to place a small kiss on your forehead, before bending down to give one to your bump as well. together, you quickly got ready, the both off you flitting around your room, brushing your teeth, rushing into clothes and leaving a few minutes to finally kiss your wife.
"my beautiful girl." she whispered against your cheek.
_______
upon opening the door, steph and kyra greeted you with mock frustration but quickly broke into smiles.
"it's about time," steph said, her tone light and teasing, the girl pulling you into a hug not soon after.
kyra, with a laugh, added, "we thought we'd have to break down the door, to find the married couple."
the drive to the day's activity was filled with laughter and light-hearted banter amongst you all, the older girls copping most of the heat from the younger players, which led to a multitude of bets and dares being carried out. vic, had dared frida to stick her tongue out as a celebration for the next goal she scored, whilst katie who took a more gusty approach, had bet alessia that she could 'neck' more beers than her, the younger brit immediately agreeing and shaking her hand.
you watched as your captain, -kim, rolled her eyes at the silly antics of her teammates, quoting the competition was, "a load of rubbish." you and your wife being seperated the moment you stepped out the door, yourself being forced between your teammates beth and jen, but you didn't really mind, they kept you entertained enough.
although, you felt your eyes wander over to one grumpy blonde, squished between viv and laura, sitting with a scowl on her face, as she felt herself drift away from the two girls' conversation.
the team had planned a series of fun and engaging outdoor activities, designed to foster teamwork and let off some steam. leah, usually sporting a more competitive approach when it came to things like this, seemed more relaxed today, her hand finding yours as she gave it a gentle squeeze.
"are you okay?" she whispered, her concern evident in her soft gaze. "just excited," you replied, giving her a reassuring smile.
the first event was an escape room, encouraging teamwork and patience, things you always strived for in your career. as leah navigated the course with her friends, her ability to work with others shone and watched as she began to enjoy herself more. you stood on the sidelines, waving off your friends with a poor excuse of a sore stomach, well you weren't entirely lying.
lunch was a picnic in the park, a moment for everyone to relax and bask in the rare english sunshine. the time had finally come, you and leah had decided it was the perfect time to share your news.
leah stood up, gaining the attention of your teammates. "can we get a photo please girls?" many of them agreed, moving around so they could all fit in the frame. you and leah volunteered to take the photo, you guiding everyone around and leah taking the photo.
"everyone ready?" your wife asked, much accustomed to the many 'photo blinkers' in her friend group. a string of nods rippled, and you both settled behind the camera to take the photo.
"one, two, three, say we're pregnant!" leah shouted out, her finger hovered over the camera button. as the words left her mouth, the faces of all the girls around her transformed into expressions of shock and disbelief. the camera clicked at just the right moment, capturing a perfect photo of their reactions.
"everyone, we have some special news to announce," she began, her hand instinctively resting on your stomach. you stood up beside her, feeling a mix of nerves and excitement.
"we're going to be parents!" you announced, your voice filled with joy.
the reaction from the team was immediate and heartwarming. cheers and congratulations erupted, with all your teammates rushing over, enveloping you both in a group hug. "we're so happy for you both!" exclaimed Steph, her eyes shining with happiness.
kim, always the team leader, added, "that's wonderful, girls! how far along are you?" she asked. "two months along, we were waiting for the perfect moment to tell you all. you responded, looking up at your wife, a look of pure admiration on your face.
"was waitin' for you to pop out a mini leah," an irish accent filled your ears, you turned over to see the brunette with a huge grin, her comment sparking a conversation of "what a mini leah or y/n would be like."
_______
the drive back home was quiet, with both of you lost in thought. leah's hand rested on your thigh, and you clasped your hand around hers, rubbing your thumb over her knuckles. you couldn't help but let your mind wonder to what the future might hold, after all you were about to start a family with the girl you loved the most in the entire world.
as you arrived home, leah made her way over to your door, helping your tired body out of the car. the blonde weaved her hands around your waist, as you unlocked the door, resting her chin on your shoulder. she helped you up the stairs, changing you out of your clothes before gently crashing you both in bed.
as the sun began to set, signaling the end of an unforgettable day, leah wrapped her arm around your waist, pulling you close to her, mirroring your earlier position. "today was perfect, exactly how i wanted to break the news." she whispered, kissing the top of your head. you nodded, resting your head against her shoulder. "It really was. i can't wait for the baby to come."
"i love you, leah," you whispered softly, feeling the warmth of her embrace enveloping you.
"i love you too," leah replied, her voice a gentle echo that soothed your busy mind. her arm tightened around your waist, and she nuzzled her head into your belly. in the quiet comfort, you felt time pause, as the two of you just lay contently in each others arms.
suddenly your phone chimed with a series of messages. sighing dismissively, you reached over to your bedside table, finding a flood of texts from the girls on the team. they were buzzing with excitement, each one requesting to be chosen as 'aunties' to your unborn child.
"can I be the cool aunt who teaches them football tricks?" one message read, from a groupchat with vic and kyra.
"official babysitter here, i demand first dibs!" another chimed in, this time caitlin requesting to be an auntie. and not a second later did her girlfriend katie message you, demanding that she be called 'auntie katie'.
"wait, I'm baking the first birthday cake, no arguments!" a third declared, your good friend lia showcasing her love for baking, that she wanted to share with your baby.
leah peeked over your shoulder, reading the texts and laughing softly to herself. "looks like our baby's going to have a starting eleven of aunties," you said, eyes sparkling with happiness.
"yeah, and the most amazing mom in the world."

Public Relations
Leah Williamson x Reader
Word Count: 2.6k
[WOSO Masterlist]
Being a public figure meant not having an ounce of privacy in your life.
You’re more than proud of the part you played in the 2019 World Cup and subsequent international matches, but there’s no denying how much you treasure the moments you could keep your personal life more… personal.
That’s why when you and Leah first started dating, neither of you were in a hurry to publicize it.
Technically you guys were in the same circles before you even got together. Same sport aside, you actually first became friends with Keira. You had become friends with Keira when your national teammates went over to Man City during Covid. After one too many video calls with Rose, Sam, and Abby in which Keira had the unfortunate act of being caught in the background, it seemed almost inevitable that you became friends. The two of you just clicked.
So yeah, you were already somewhat in the same orbit. Now how did Keira tie into you and Leah getting together?
Well let’s just say after a night out spent with her best friend, Leah woke up with a pounding head, a sinking feeling she did something stupid, and a returned DM.
[I think you’re pretty good looking yourself too]
Leah’s drunken initiation didn’t disappoint. It didn’t take too long for your flirty messages to turn into something genuine, and before you knew it, the two of you had been dating for almost a year.
Dating Leah has been nothing but bliss. The distance sometimes wreaked havoc on your sleep schedule and wallet, but Leah was worth the late night wake up calls and frequent flights overseas.
The two of you had just started talking about being a little bit more public with your relationship, ready to stop hiding as much. On your last trip out to see Leah, you even posted a picture of you at her game. Leah has always loved the sight of you in her clothes, so your surprise appearance, dressed only in her jersey and clothes you stole from her apartment only set to light her heart ablaze.
While you were taking the soft coming out approach for the public, you didn’t think you were hiding much from your teammates. You never shied away from taking Leah’s calls in front of them. Hell, if memory serves right, some of them have even almost walked in on you as the two of you were… let’s just say having a less than family friendly call. These were the people you thought of as family, the first people you told anything to. You were sure they were already well aware of your affections for the English defender.
Turns out you were wrong.
It all began with the end of an international window.
You’re chilling in the locker room, basking in the joy of another successful game while scrolling through your phone. It’s easy to ignore the numerous notifications of congratulations. You’d reply to them all eventually, but there’s only one text thread you’re seeking out.
While you were on the field, Leah’s been blowing up your phone with her play-by-play reactions. Seeing her live reactions as the game was progressing, despite the late hour in England, only made your heart flutter. You smile at the texts, sending a quick heart back before making a mental note to call Leah after she’s gotten a couple hours of sleep.
When you tune back into the noise around you, you catch the end of some plans to go out on the night.
“So what do you say? Let’s go out, party, maybe get some cute girls’ numbers?”
You look up to see Sonnett wiggling her eyebrows at you. The smile on your face is genuine, a bubbling laugh coming out to accompany it. “I’d be down to go out, but I think Leah might be upset if I follow through on that last part.”
“Who?”
Your head tilts at the confusion clear in Sonny’s voice. “Uh, my girlfriend?”
It’s almost as if your words bring about a halt to everyone’s celebrations. The locker room goes strangely quiet as everyone stares at you weirdly.
You blink, confused by the sudden lack of noise. “What?”
Kelley’s the first one who seems to get her bearings back together. “What-- who-- girlfriend? Since when have you been in a relationship?”
“Leah Williamson,” you start, not even having the chance to answer the second question before the room erupts.
“The England captain?!”
“No way!”
“Since when?”
“I call BS! There’s no way you could’ve hid something as big as this!”
You’re a bit insulted at their lack of faith in you, but you choose to give them all the benefit of the doubt. Everyone’s busy in their own ways, maybe if you just explain it well you would jog their memories. “Why do you think I went to England during the offseason?”
Your team still looks unconvinced, each of them exchanging skeptical looks with one another.
“I literally have an instagram post with me wearing her jersey at one of her games.”
Kristie taps at her chin before snapping her fingers. “Wait, that Arsenal pic from last February?”
You nod, thinking that this is it. The post would 100% be enough to convince your teammates. After all, you were wearing Leah’s jersey. Not to mention, the [(S)he likes my American smile] caption that pretty much spoke for itself.
Only Sonnett doesn’t seem to think so, shaking her head in disbelief. “Nah, this is fake news. No way you have a girlfriend. Let alone bagged Williamson. Like c’mon, choose someone more believable.”
Rose sends you a knowing look but doesn’t jump in to help you. Leave it up to the only person in the locker room who’s more than aware of your relationship to the English captain to not say anything. If anything, she looks amused at your inability to convince the others of your relationship with Leah. Fucking Rosemary.
“Hey don’t worry about it.” Sonnett's smirk has you doing everything but ‘not worry’ about it. “I’m sure the great Leah Williamson wouldn’t mind you sliding into her DMs. After all, who could say no to a face like yours?”
The defender leaps away when you lunge for her with a murderous expression plastered on your face.
---
Rose is the first to meet you when the game ends. You’re both sweaty as hell, legs bruised all around and sore. All you have to do is take one look at the grin on her face to know you’re not going to like whatever’s about to come out of her mouth.
“A little birdy told me you have a visitor.”
You narrow your eyes at her. “One word and I will ‘accidentally’ tell Sof about your drunken confession.”
Rose’s cheeks instantly flame red.
“What was it you said? Something about her--”
The midfielder shoves hard on your shoulders, nearly knocking you over but efficiently cutting you off. It’s not a secret how much Rose likes Sofia. Sofia’s honestly the only person on the team who isn’t aware of the younger girl’s crush on her. You’re half tempted to lock them in a room together to speed up their coupling, but you’re not that evil.
“Anyways, tell the little birdy to mind her own business too unless she’d like me to tell Luce some cool secrets of hers as well.”
Your friends love playing dirty, but so do you.
Leah’s not hard to spot. She looks beautiful dressed in your blue Reign jersey, a matching beanie on her head.
“Hey stranger.”
“Hi, you’re wearing the wrong jersey,” you grin, taking a minute to appreciate your last name on Leah’s back before you’re eagerly pulling her in for a hug.
She pulls away with a snort, rolling her eyes at you. “I’m wearing your club jersey, what more do you want from me?”
“I know, but don’t you think you’d look more fabulous in my US jersey?”
“Don’t push it.” But the sparkle in her eye tells you it wouldn’t take too much for it to happen. Leah may be fiercely loyal to her Lionesses, but she did love you quite a lot.
By the time she’s set to leave, you’re heavily debating whether or not you should book a last minute ticket to go with her. It’s only Leah stealing your phone and her reminders of how much you love your own club that stops you from following through. There’s lots of tears and kisses when you drop her off, heart already aching before she’s even through the airport doors.
Leah waits to make an instagram post until she’s already back home, but you can’t help but still feel the little flutter in your heart at the picture she chooses.
Taken the night of the game, she’s still wearing your jersey, though your name and number are partially obscured. You’re not visible in it, but she’s sticking out her tongue at you and throwing out her signature hand gesture over her shoulder.
[I like your American smile 💙]
---
It seems as if Leah’s visit to Seattle is more than enough to convince your teammates of your relationship, but the general public still remains steadfast in their beliefs of your “lovely friendship”. You wanted to laugh when you read the countless [friendship goals!!] and [imagine visiting your best friend on the opposite side of the world] comments on Leah’s post. To you, it seemed like a further stretch for you and Leah to be best friends than lovers, but then again, they said the same thing about Kristie and Sam before they posted a picture of them making out with each other.
When you slyly suggest doing the same, Leah correctly calls you out for just wanting to make out with her, not that she has any objections to doing so. In the end, the two of you agree to just table the discussion until you’re reunited again. With the US going over to England for a friendly in just a little over a month, the two of you are set to meet up again soon anyways, so waiting a little longer wouldn’t be too much of a burden.
When you first arrive in London, you’re instantly herded to the hotel, no pit stops, no detours to see your girlfriend. Megan’s sure to poke fun at your pout while you’re in the car together.
Leah’s nothing if not professional, so it would have been hard to convince her to house you on that first night anyways. Still, you can’t help but sulk in your hotel room. Leah texts back a picture of Georgia guarding her door.
[G says you’ll see me over her dead body]
You know you could take the midfielder. But it’s the sentiment that counts.
By the time the actual game rolls around, you’ve been training like crazy, not having enough downtime to miss your girlfriend much. Before the game starts, the two of you still send each other good luck texts. You’ve sent one before the other’s games since you started dating, and although you’re pitted against each other tonight, neither of you wanted to break the streak yet.
When Hemp scores the first goal not even ten minutes in, you know it’s going to be a long game.
It’s a constant back and forth.
Sophia scores.
Then Georgia.
You don’t get too much time on the ball. Millie’s been marking you close all game. You’ve been forced to pass the ball almost instantly every time it makes it to your feet, and you wouldn’t be a striker if it wasn’t starting to get on your nerves.
But then suddenly it’s as if all of the stars align. When Andi pokes the ball out, you’re there to receive it. The second you have it, you’re making a break for it. With your blood pumping in your ears, you dodge white shirts, Mary’s yellow one set in sight.
From the corner of your eye you see Lucy streaking towards you. You don’t even have enough time to divert before she’s sliding.
It’s a good tackle, but your momentum keeps you going. The ball soars out of bounds while you go flying over Lucy’s outstretched legs.
You land hard, sliding a few feet before staying down. You rest your head on the grass, all the noise sounding like a faint ringing in your ears. It doesn’t take long before a hand is resting between your shoulder blades, rubbing softly. You don’t have to raise your head to know it’s Leah.
“I just need a second,” you wheeze out, trying to pull some air back into your lungs.
Your girlfriend hums in response, but doesn’t leave your side.
When you finally make it to your feet nearly a minute later, Leah hasn’t moved an inch, only taking a step back when you give her hand a light squeeze. Lucy gives you an apologetic pat, the whistle sounds again, and just like that, the game’s back on.
The closer the game gets to half-time, the more antsy you get. Player after player sends in more than a couple shots towards goal, but nothing seems to go through.
And then it happens.
Trinity rockets the ball right past Earps.
You’re the first to reach her, screaming right into her face. “Let’s fucking go!”
The twenty year old accepts your hug with vigor, letting out a surprised yelp when you lift her into the air.
When the game ends in a 2-2 tie, you know it’s a well deserved draw.
You carefully make your way around the field, shaking hands and hugging where necessary, all the while keeping an eye out for your girlfriend. It’s only minutes but feels more like a lifetime before you make your way over to her. Leah gives you a toothy grin, brushing a stray piece of hair off your face when you reach her.
“Hi baby.”
“Hi,” you breathe out, not caring how you practically melt into Leah when she gets her arms around you.
The blonde chuckles, arms briefly tightening before she’s leaning back to give you an appreciative once-over. “Nice job today. You played great. Definitely gave our backline a run for our money.”
“Thanks babe. I guess you did a fine job too.” Your grin betrays your amusement.
Leah rolls her eyes at you, a hint of a smile on her lips. “So do you want me to strip right now, or?” Leah puts her hands on the hem of her jersey, giving you an expectant look.
You know exactly what she’s asking for, but you decide to play coy. “Oh, now you want to wear my jersey? I dunno, I might give it to Keira.”
You pretend to scan the field for Leah’s best friend, but your girlfriend doesn’t even bother humoring you. Leah narrows her eyes. “Guess I’ll be going home alone tonight then.”
Though mostly likely empty, her threat still has you quickly scrambling to pull your jersey off, practically knocking Leah over by how hard you shove your jersey into her hands.
Later that night, you and Leah post the same picture. You’re in England white and she’s in US blue, your arm wrapped around her waist. You’re laughing at something Sanchez said off to the side while Leah’s looking at you with a look that can only be described as lovestruck.
The English captain’s caption is a cute and simple heart.
Yours on the other hand--

Can you do a team x Leah and basically kk and ice are on live and saying that they wants pancakes and how Leah was suppose to make them pancakes(or any food)but Paige and some other team members put her in a bad mood because they scratched her car and kk and ice come into her room still on live and tries to convince her to still make her pancakes because they didn’t do anything wrong and Leah is convinced and while they are eating her pancakes and Leah is cooking Paige comes in and basically tries to ask Leah if she’s still mad(she still very much is) and tries explain and to defend herself and throws the people she was with under the bus while and this all happens on live while eating pancakes
Idk this is really random but basically it’s just just kk and ice doing their thing eating pancakes and Paige is in the background trying to convince Leah that what happened wasn’t her fault and Leah just making pancakes while fuming
I just want to see Paige trying to get on her good side again I think that would be cute 😭😭
