Helper
Lia Wälti x Child!Reader
Leah Williamson x Child!Reader
Summary: You're the best helper
Tumblr media
When auntie Leah tears her acl, Mummy moves you and herself into Leah's house.
She says it's because Leah will need some support. You think it's because Mummy thinks Leah won't eat proper meals. Sometimes, Mummy says Leah eats like she's rationing which means she's got a bad palate and the taste buds of a kid a lot younger than you.
But Mummy is insistent that auntie Leah just needs a bit of support and some help.
Thankfully though, Mummy always calls you her best helper so you make sure to be Leah's best helper too.
"Morning, guppy," Mummy greets you one morning.
"Hi, Mummy," You say, giving her a big morning hug. You're still very little, not yet old enough to go to school but you're getting there. Mummy says next year, you were born just a few days too late to go to school this year.
That's fine though.
That gives you time to be a big help to auntie Leah.
"What's for breakfast?" You try to peak up at the counter but you're still too little and Mummy smiles.
"Pancakes."
You gasp. "Really?"
"Really, guppy. Now, before pancakes, what must we do?"
"Wash our hands."
"That's right. Your auntie Leah is still sleeping. Do you want to wake her up for me? So we can all have pancakes?"
You nod.
"Okay, off you go."
You hurry up the stairs to auntie Leah's room and slip inside.
Mummy is right. Leah's fast asleep, like a big lump in the middle of the bed. Her crutches are on the floor near the door and you move to lean them up closer to her, so she can grab them.
You also move all of the clothes out of the way of the path to her door.
A few days ago, Mummy caught you trying to clean Leah's room for her but she said Leah's an adult and she doesn't need help keeping her room tidy and just because yours is always neat doesn't mean that Leah's had to be the same.
That was a little confusing because Mummy's room is also clean and tidy so you'd just assumed it was an adult thing.
You shuffle the clothes out of the way though just so it's easier for her.
Leah doesn't like the big light in the morning because it always scares her awake so you half-open her curtains before finally properly approaching her.
"Auntie Leah," You whisper, shaking her shoulder," It's morning time."
Leah grunts a little, trying to roll over. "Five more minutes."
"Mummy's making pancakes," You tell her," And she told me to get you up. We need to wash our hands before eating."
Leah seems a bit more awake at that and you help her pull her covers down so she can get out of bed.
"Thanks, guppy," She says as you help her with her crutches.
"That's okay, auntie Leah! We still need to go to the bathroom to do our hands though. Mummy says it's very important to wash the germs off our hands before eating."
"Oh, wow," Leah says as she walks with you," Thanks for telling me."
"That's okay," You reply, holding the bathroom door open for her," Mummy also says two squirts of soap to make sure you're hands are very clean and the germs go away."
To demonstrate, you stand on your stool and squirt two loads of soap on your hand and wash your hands like Mummy's shown you since you were little.
You supervise Leah washing your hands before helping her down the stairs, picking up all the things that were strewn across them last night.
"Mummy," You say," Auntie Leah and I washed our hands."
Lia turns around just as Leah slides into her seat. "Well," She says," You're right on time because I just finished the pancakes." She helps you up onto your own seat, cutting up your pancakes for you before sliding the plate towards you.
"Mummy," You say as you eat," Do we need to do dishes?"
"I do, yes," Mummy says in amusement, knowing exactly what you want to ask.
"Can I help?"
"I don't know, guppy," She says," Are you sure? You can go and play with Leah."
You shake your head. "No thank you, Mummy. I can help you. Auntie Leah can relax."
Leah snickers at your side. "Jesus, Lia, are you sure you're raising a child? I've never met a kid so well behaved."
Lia rolls her eyes. "I'm raising her to be polite. It's not my fault she's naturally like that."
You beam proudly at that, puffing out your chest whenever anyone tells you that you're being polite.
"Are you sure, guppy?" Auntie Leah checks with you," We can sit down and play FIFA."
"No thank you, auntie Leah," You say," I'd like to help Mummy clean up first."
"Well," Leah says, sticking her hands up," I tried."
Lia laughs as she picks you up, dragging another one of your stools over so you can be high enough to reach the sink. "Thank you for wanting to help me, guppy."
"It's okay, Mummy," You reply," If we do it together then it'll take half the time!"

your moms are here
leah williamson x reader, jordan nobbs x reader, (wobbs as coparents)
part 5 of beautiful girl series pt.1 -> pt.2 -> pt.3 -> pt.4
warnings: if your any bit emotionally unstable this isn’t for u x
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You didn’t expect to wake up, let alone wake up warm and in a fraction of the amount of pain you’d been in the last time you’d been conscious enough to feel anything.
Your eyes were still crammed shut, your chest still hurt, your body was still shaking, but you felt better, less like you were dangling on the cliff of life and death, you weren’t sure where you were, or if you were even alive.
Was this they greater beyond?
Was it the warmth of death’s embrace?
You knew it wasn’t, because there was still the dull pain and the tension all over your body. You didn’t believe that life after death was anything, that it was actually some overwhelming cloud of happiness and perfection, but if it did exist, if there was some kind of heaven, this wasn’t it.
You thought about the places you could be, in bed at Matt’s house, in bed at your mom’s house, in bed at some kidnappers house, in bed at rehab.
You quickly eliminated each option, the bed and sheets weren’t the same from your bed or Matt’s, kidnappers didn’t normally concern themselves with comfortability, and in your mind rehab would have more detoxing, screaming, junkies.
Out of pure fear, you tried to crack your eyes open, it wasn’t easy, but with some concentration that made your forehead feel like it was being split open, you managed to slowly crack your right eye open. There was sleep and tears keeping your eyelashes stuck together, which made it far harder then it should have been, the blinding white light directly above your head wasn’t much help either.
You took back what you thought, everything hurt.
From your toenails to the follicles on top of your head, it felt like every single nerve in your body was being plucked and split in half.
Your whole body curled itself up into a ball, it made the shaking a little bit less like your body was being exorcised.
You realised very quickly as your eye became accustomed to the light around you that you were in the last place you possibly wanted to be.
You should have clocked on to it, based on the persistent beeping noise coming from above you and the cords that were connected to your arm.
They’d dropped you off out the front of a fucking hospital.
Or someone had found you and called a ambulance.
Or your moms had taken you to the hospital.
Or you were in some sick twisted dream.
With the rest of the energy that was left in your body you managed to crack open your other eye, it wasn’t easy, but it helped you feel more aware of your surroundings.
It was a surprisingly quiet hospital, or at least by your standards.
You tried to sit up, but it was no use, your body was completely spent, all of the energy felt like it had been completely pulled from your body.
Withdrawals, maybe.
Or the reaction of the opioid with the stimulant.
Those were your best guesses as to how you’d ended up feeling like death.
You didn’t have to wait long to find out, the curtain which was keeping you contained from the rest of the ER was opened up, a nurse waltzing her way over to your bedside.
You couldn’t help but feel a little bit vulnerable, you could hardly move your body and had a lot less control over it then you would have liked.
“Miss dump and run awakens.”
Dump and run.
You couldn’t decide whether or not you were mad with your friends, on one hand, it was smart of them to drop you off at an er. They had no medical knowledge, they were druggies, they didn’t need a dead body on their hands. On the other hand, they’d left you, deserted you, left you for dead.
The nurse moved to your IV and monitor, looking at the different flashing numbers and writing them down on her clipboard, before she looked down and addressed you properly.
“Had a lot of drugs in your system for such a wee thing like yourself. Your friends were smart to drop you here, you would have been as good as dead with that much meth in your system for any longer. I’ve seen a lot of overdoses in my day, you might just take the cake though, darlin’.”
Overdose?
A fucking overdose?
You’d been doing drugs for months now, meth, a smidge of coke, little bits of molly and LSD, a little sprinkle of heroin, opioids a couple of times, plenty of weed. Not once had you ever overdosed, you’d never seen someone overdose, you’d come to think it was urban myth.
You’d hardly taken anything, two shoot ups within a couple of hours of each other, it wasn’t something you’d done before but it also wasn’t exorbitant or something you hadn’t seen other people do.
“Sorry, an overdose?”
You were still shaking, it was less obvious underneath the shitty hospital blanket that was on top of you, but you were still shaking like a leaf in the wind.
“Yup, think you had more meth in your blood stream then blood. The saline should flush it all out until your guardians get here.”
Guardians?
What?
What the actual fuck was this nightmare that you were stuck in.
“Sorry, my guardians?”
The nurse looked back down at her clipboard.
“Ms Williamson and Ms Nobbs? We’re obligated to call emergency contacts in life threatening circumstances and those were the ones that were on your phone, they should be here soon enough.”
You didn’t care that you couldn’t moved, you needed to leave.
“I want to discharge, now.”
The nurse looked at you like you had gone silly, like you were in a psychiatric ward instead of the emergency one.
“You’re underage, and you’d have to sign a waiver saying that you are aware you’re going against doctors orders, a lot of paperwork, and you’d actually have to be strong enough to walk out of here, which I can promise you is not happening any time soon,”
The nurse pointed to the IV bag.
“There’s still another hour or so left on this, until it’s done that dizzines your experiencing and the weakness isn’t going to pass. You’re frighteningly dehydrated and full of methamphetamines.”
Fuck.
You were so fucking fucked.
“Please, I’ll sign whatever forms, just let me leave, please.”
You didn’t know how you planned to leave, considering you weren’t even mobile enough to roll onto your back to look at the nurse properly, eye to eye.
“You get up and walk to my desk where the papers are and you can leave, how’s that sound, sweetheart?”
You want to yell directly into her face and tell her to let you fucking leave. But you don’t, you have a inch of self-respect that prevents you from doing it.
“Please.”
You’ve never liked to beg, you did enough of it during your youth, begging for your mom to not leave you home alone every night, begging for things to get better, begging for your life to get better, and it had. Jordan and Leah had introduced you to a whole new world, a beautiful world, the kind of world you’d read about as a child, they’d given you anything and everything you’d wanted growing up. You’d become gracious, but promised yourself that you’d never beg in the same way that you always had, but when your life had been turned upside down, you’d reverted back to your old ways.
“I have a daughter of my own, y’know, around your age. If she was in your situation all I would care about is her being okay, that’s whats most important.”
You rolled your eyes, you were certain of one things, your moms would be mad, you were surprised they were coming at all, everyone had deserted you, it felt like you had nobody.
“Can i get something for the pain?”
You were intelligent enough to know that the iv was detoxing you at a rapid rate, whilst it was saving your life, it also meant that you were going to be sent into withdrawals a lot faster then you should have. You weren’t going to get your hands on meth, clearly. So you needed a substitute, luckily, you were currently sitting in a hospital which was filled with every single painkiller known to man.
“Good try honey, a part from the fact that your bloodstream and body couldn’t even handle a tylenol at the minute, I’m also not going to give an addict drugs, just hang in honey, the chest pain and muscle cramps should start to pass soon.”
Just as she was finishing, your eyes darted to the emergency room doors, which were now hanging open as your two moms and Lia walked through the doors.
Jordan was dressed in the same sweats she’d been in all morning, her face was red and puffy, eyes bloodshot and still full of tears.
Leah looked more put together, she had a pair of slacks on and a clean shirt, her eyes were as red as Jordan’s but she appeared to have put on more of a brave face.
Your eyes darted everywhere, looking for some kind of escape, or to stop their fast steps that were slowly getting closer to you with every millisecond that passed.
There was no hope for you.
If the drugs hadn’t killed you then your moms would.
Leah managed to cross into your makeshift room first, her eyes flashing across every inch of your body. You expected her to ask the nurse a question, or yell at you, but she didn’t.
She walked straight to your bedside, your nurse moving out of the way, and without you being aware of what was happening, wrapped her arms around your body.
You didn’t hug your moms a lot anymore.
In the start, when you’d started out with them, it had taken a lot of effort from them to make you trust them with that kind of contact, but eventually, you’d become reliant on their hugs, the shoulder pats, the little motherly touches here and there that you’d never gotten as a kid.
When they’d broken up, the hugs and contact had faded, similarly to the love in the house, it was like everything personal, everything that made Leah’s house a home had been drained.
“You’re okay, thank god you’re okay.”
Leah’s body lingered on your own body long enough for Jordan’s arms to wrap around your body on the other side of you.
You hadn’t been hugged by the both of them in over a year, you felt guilty for wishing that this wouldn’t be a one time thing, that you could have this whenever you wanted. That wasn’t your life though, it wasn’t your reality, it wasn’t reality.
You let yourself relax, you knew you’d regret it when the moment ended, it’d make it that much harder to realise you couldn’t have this, but you let yourself enjoy it whilst you had it.
It lasted longer than you’d thought, it was hard, Jordan hugs were addictive. You didn’t get them a lot anymore, occasionally you’d get a hug from Leah, once every blue moon when she wanted one, but it wasn’t like this. It wasn’t body on body, feelings on feelings, love on love.
You didn’t know if you knew what love felt like anymore, over the years it had been distorted, you were certain that love could only be given to a person in transaction. It’s why you’d tried to be perfect, the perfect kid, the perfect student, the perfect player. You’d given up when Jordan had left, it didn’t matter anymore, there wasn’t enough love to be shared around between you and Leah. Love to you, was a privilege, not something that everyone had extra of. You had to earn love, or at keast that;s how you’d always seen it. You’d never been good enough for your own parents, that’s how you’d ended up with Jordan and Leah, from them you’d always craved that love, the love you’d never gotten and you’d been willing to do anything for it, you still were.
“We love you so much chicky, so much.”
You enjoyed the little murmurs, the little whispers in your ears that were so heartfelt and meaningful that you could feel the tears of your moms dripping down each side of your neck.
All good things come to and end, but it didn’t make it any easier.
Leah, unsurprisingly was the first to turn to your nurse.
“They didn’t tell me anything on the phone, just that we needed to come here, she’s okay?”
Your nurse nodded at your mom.
“Yes ma’am, we’re flushing her out right now. She wants to discharge herself, it’s going against medical advice but she’s free to once she’d done with her iv and she’s regained some strength.”
Jordan sat down on the bed next to you, leaving a big enough gap of space that you could still feel her presence but weren’t pressed up against her, she was listening just intently as Leah to the nurse.
“Flushing her out? Of what?”
Fuck.
You’d never ever, in your life, known Leah to not be inquisitive, she needed and wanted answers to everything, but this was worrying you. There were things you kept a secret for a reason.
“Methamphetamines, she had a pretty high amount circulating in her body. I can get the doctor to come and talk to you about it. Her body had built up a decent tolerance, she took it a lot better than you or I would. Apart from that she’s in fairly good condition, although the doctor did have some concerns about some scratches and bruises that seemed consistent with domestic or sexual abuse.”
You watched, in a series of moments, your mothers face fall more and more as the nurse kept speaking. Leah was pretty good at having a poker face, she had to for her job, she also kept a brave face for life though. You’d hardly seen a break in her resolve since her injury but right now, she was keeping nothing hidden. You felt Jordan’s body go rigid behind you as well, you knew shit was about to get real.
You considered strangling yourself with the blanket on top of you, or drowning yourself in the toilet bowl in the adjacent bathroom. It sounded better than the conversation that was about to occur.
“You’re daughter is very lucky, stupid, but lucky. Her friends ditched her at the front door, if they had of been any later she’d be in far worse condition. She was here just quick enough for us to counteract the drugs and stop them from effecting her mental cognition. Her friends shouldn’t have ditched her, or let her get that far gone, but you should be grateful they were at least smart enough to take her somewhere she could get help. I’m going to go find the doctor, he can talk to you about different option you have, and I’ll leave you guys to talk for a little bit, okay?”
Leah nodded, dumbfoundedly, trying her best to smile at the nurse as she made her way towards the exit of your room, closing the curtains and then the door.
Leah pivoted as soon as she was gone, looking down at you with so much horror and pain that you could feel it in your gut.
“Meth, bubba? You’ve been doing meth?”
The sentence hung in the air for a few seconds, filling up all of the space, you hoped that after a couple of seconds that it would disappear, like it had never been said.
“It’s not a big deal.”
You should have chosen your words more precisely, but you were finding it hard to think with all of the drug haze clouding your head.
“Not a big deal? You told me it was the vape, then it was weed, then it was coke and now iut’s fucking meth? There is nothing not big about that bubba. This isn’t just something you can do for fun, this isn’t okay, this is serious. You could die from this. You almost did. You’re 17. 17 year olds aren’t supposed to die. Why bubba? What made you want to do this, not just to yourself but to your life, to everyone. Do you know how scared your mother and I have been. The whole team has been calling up hospitals and roaming the streets looking for you. We’ve been terrified.”
Guilt was one of the best ways to make a person admit they were wrong, you knew it, you’d watched your moms manipulate each other during the break up the same way. They’d use something against the other until it spiralled into a massive fight which would end with someone sleeping at a teammates house or on the couch.
“I’m sorry, okay? Can we just go home? I want to go home.”
Another poor choice in words apparently by the look on Leah’s face.
“No we can’t just go home, we need to talk about this bubba, you overdosed on meth. You have a tolerance for it, which means you’ve been using it for a while. You have bruises and you’re in a hospital bed unable to move. You’re addicted to a drug that I would have thought you’d have absolutely no interest in. You’ve got a disease bubba, you’ve got an addiction and we’re going to work it out, we’ll fix it.”
Similar to being a control freak, Leah was also a person who wanted to fix everything. No problem was big enough for her, apparently your whole life wasn’t either.
“Mom this isn’t a disease, this isn’t like fucking cancer or something. I made a choice, I have it under control, this is my life. I’m choosing to live it this way.”
Your mom looks like she’s about to lose her shit.
“I understand that you think you have this under control and that you think this is the best way to be living your life but it fucking isn’t. I understand you’re struggling, but this isn’t okay, you’re a kid, you can;t be doing this.”
Worst thing you can tell a addict, you can’t take drugs.
Because yes you most certainly can, it’s a free motherfucking country.
“I understand what I’m doing, it doesn’t make me a bad person or any different from your or mama. You don’t like who i am anymore, not since i quit football and stopped being who you wanted me to be, I’ve changed and you have to accept that, this is me mom, this is who I am.”
Leah looked flabbergasted.
“You want me to just nod my head and accept my daughter is a junkie, right? That’s the permission you are seeking, you aren’t going to get it bubba, this isn’t anywhere near okay. This isn’t you, people change, I change, you’re allowed to be different then how you were a couple of years ago. Drugs isn’t how you change yourself, it’s not how you reinvent yourself. You can’t live your whole fucking life like this because guess what, you’ll end up dead. Addiction is a degenerative disease, it is incurable, it is deadly, it’s no fucking different from cancer and you’ve got it. I understand that, you’ve got an addiction, we’ll figure it out. I am not going to enable you to keep abusing a substance that will kill you. You’ve got a death wish and I won’t sit by and allow it to happen. I thought I was cool, I thought it was good of me to be accepting that you’re a teenager and you were going to do stupud stuff, I let you get away with much more than I should have. I’m sorry, I’m sorry that if I gave you to much space that you felt the need to do this, I’m sorry that I wasn’t a good enough parent to see the warning signs, but I won’t let you kill yourself bubba, not when I can stop it from happening.”
Jordan was still silent, as passive as ever, she’d always taken a backseat, the silent enabler.
“You’ve got no fucking idea what I’m going through, I’m sorry I scared you, but I don’t have to explain my actions to you, you understand nothing about what I’m dealing with.”
The first time you sweared in the presence of Leah and Jordan was your second day with them. You didn’t even know what swearing was, you’d just picked up words that had been said as you’d been growing up. You hadn’t hesitated to throw a ‘fuck’ out when you’d stubbed your foot on the kitchen bench as you’d been pouring yourself a glass of water.
You’d known something was wrong though when you’d turned around to sit back down at the table with Leah and Jordan and both of them looked like they’d seen a ghost.
You’d hardly swore after that, to your core, you were a people pleaser, you didn’t like to be in trouble, right now though it was like everything you’d grown up with was exiting your body. You felt like a monster, like a version of yourself you didn’t know and it was hard, it was really fucking hard. You didn’t want to break down, you were scared that if you were vulnerable you’d be taken advantage of again, the same way that you friends had, so you put up your won shields.
“I don’t need to know what you’re going through to know that this isn’t good. We’ll get you into rehab, we’ll get you clean, we’re here for you, right Jords?”
You could feel Jordan nodding from behind you.
“I’m not going to rehab, fuck no.”
Leah was pacing, it was what she did when she was stressed, it was a clear tell.
“So, I’m just supposed to allow you back into my house, knowing that you’ve been hiding an addiction from me for months, trust that my drug addicted child will stay clean on her own account and be willing to go through withdrawals and not give in to her own addiction. Do you think I don’t love you, is that it? Because right now you’re telling me that I am expected to allow my daughter to use drugs, lethal drugs that almsot killed her, under my roof, allow you to live your life as you want it, and leave you alone. As a person who loves you and has loved your for the past 9 years of your life, are you actually hearing what you are saying?”
Love.
It was a curious thing, your mother thought she loved you, or at least she felt like she did. Ut was funny how to you, you felt the exact opposite way.
“So what you’re doing this to show me you love me or something? Reality check, you haven’t given a fucking shit about me in months, it’s all about Lia, all about your knee. I’m not selfish enough to expect that you can focus on me whilst your recovering but don’t try and act like you’ve been loving and caring about me this whole time when you haven’t.”
Leah sits herself down, she can only handle so long on her feet nowadays.
“Maybe you should coem stay with me, come to rehab in Birmingham. Bubba, your mom is still struggling.”
You’re more than shocked to hear Jordan pipe up, it reignites something else in you.
“No you don’t get to have a fucking say. You left me, you don’t text anymore, you don’t call. I’m only your kid when it’s convenient for you, which is about 10 days every year. You don’t even try with me, you washed your hands of me a year ago and you don’t get to come back now. You gave me up.”
Your sick of being the understanding one, sick of being the one everybody could burden with their problems, sick of being the fucking scapegoat in every situation.
“Look kid, i think you need to have some more respect for your mothers.”
Lia.
Fucking Lia and her audacity and her fucking butting into all of your family problems.
“No you don’t get a fucking say, you move in a couple of months ago to support my mom and all of a sudden your my third fucking parent. You’ve got nothing to do with me, You don’t get to have a say in anything, you aren’t apart of this fucking family.”
Leah looked like she was having about 30 wars with herself inside of her head, like she was struggling to figure out which side of her brain she should side with.
“Bubba, we’ve talked about this, you need to be respectful to Lia.”
You were sick of everybody telling you that you had to respect people, that you had to follow fucking rules. They wondered why you’d spiralled.
“No, fuck this, fuck you, fuck jordan, fuck everything. I made a series of decisions, ones that I am happy with, this is how I am living my life.”
Leah took a deep breath, before turning to face you.
It was hard looking at her eye to eye, you were putting her through a lot right now, and a part of you deep down felt bad about it. You didn’t want to make your mom feel in pain, you didn’t want her to suffer, it was the last thing you wanted. Without her, you’d be as good as nothing, you’d have absolutely nothing. But you were lashing out, you were as frantic as your sore chest and pumping heart would let you be.
“Bubba. You don’t seen what’s wrong. I do, Jordan and I are sitting here talking to a girl that we don’t know. This isn’t our daughter, this isn’t the girl we’ve raised. You’re going to go to rehab, you’re going to detox, you’re going to get properly clean and once you are we’ll have this conversation again, see if you have a different perspective.”
You didn’t want to have this conversation when you were clean, you wanted to have it now.
“No. If you gave a shit about me, like you’re acting to, you wouldn’t have fucking broken up in the first place. You wouldn’t have torn my life apart, you wouldn’t have done this to me. You wouldn’t have stopped cring about me, you wouldn’t have stopped loving me. Let me go, let me leave. You fucking did this to me and if you want to make it up to me you’ll let me leave.”
You saw Leah’s face fall to another level.
“I can’t do that bubba.”
You felt like you were spinning out of control, like you were in a car that had just fallen over a cliff, and you were slowly doing flip after flip as the car catapulted towards the rocks at the bottom.
“Mom, just let me leave, let me go, please mom, let me leave, let me fucking leave.”
Leah just shook her head at you.
“Bubba, I know it doesn’t feel like it right now, it might not ever. I know me and your mom breaking up was hard for you, you didn’t deserve that, and I’m sorry for that, but neither of us could handle keeping you in a household without love, and I know it’s different now, I’m so sorry for that, I wish we could go back. But we can’t, me and your mom don’t love each other more, we can’t just love each other. We love you though, we love you more then anything else. We would both pick you above anybody in the world, you’re our beautiful little girl, you’re our girl. You’ll never not be our daughter. We chose you years ago and we would choose you again today, everyday, for the rest of our lives. No matter what you do.”
There are big tears dripping down your moms face, you’ve seen her cry plenty in your life, Leah Williamson is known to be an emotional person, but not like this, not with this much anguish and pain in her face, never like this.
“You don’t love me, you can’t fucking love me, I’m not like either of you. I break people apart, I’m a catalyst, everywhere I go, I tear people a part, I wreck their lives. I wrecked my parents, I wrecked you guys relationship, I wrecked my own life. I’m a fucking semi-truck that bulldozes through peoples lives, just let me leave and you guys can be happy again.”
Leah takes a double take, her fists are white from how hard they are holding onto the arms of the chair she’s sat in. You’re surprised she doesn’t yell back at you, but instead of meeting your aggression with an equal amount, she composes herself.
“Bubba, do you know how much I love you, how much your mama and I love you? If you could take all of the words in the english language, it still wouldn’t be enough to describe how much we love you. And if you could gather all of those words together, it still wouldn’t be enough. What we feel for you is everything. I love you more than everything. You don’t pull people a part, you’ve made your mama and I happier than we ever would have been without you. You light up our lives everyday, I know it doesn’t feel like it, but just seeing you everyday is my biggest achievement, it’s the best part of my day. Seeing you grow up to be the person Jord and I raised will forever be the best part of my life. You didn’t tear us apart, if anything you were what kept us together for so long, because being around you made us both so happy, that all of our problems didn’t matter as much. Eventually it was too much though, it had nothing to do with you, it never will, it never did. You’re the light in our life, you are our whole universe. We just want you to be okay, you don’t have to be who you were, people change, but you need to be okay. You’re not okay right now, there isn’t anything wrong with that, it’s okay to not be okay, but me and your mama will find you help if you don’t seek it our yourself. You need to go to rehab, you can’t live your life like this, it isn’t sustainable. Drugs ruin peoples lives. I don’t need to throw stats at you for you to understand the magnitude of drug related deaths, because that’s how this will end, with you dead. You’ve been through so much bubba, you’re so strong, but you don’t always have to be strong, you’re allowed to break down, you’re allowed to have bad days. But drugs isn’t a way to fix that, it’s not a safe coping mechanism, you can’t rely on drugs to solve every problem that you have. You need to get clean. We love you so much, our beautiful girl.”
Everything hurts, your heart, your head, your body. Your eyes and head aren’t clear, it’s like there is a fuzzy haze covering everything, but you believe what Leah is telling you, she’s telling you the honest truth, and you can’t deny that.

secret admirer | l.w.
Tumblr media
leah williamson x reader | 1.4k | leah had been on the receiving end of your anonymous letters not having the courage to talk to her until you get caught out
ˏˋ°•*⁀arsenal/lioness!reader - a little leah fic bc mainly leah and alexia have been living rent free in my head all day today :') but yeah! also i work 10 hour days the rest of the week so a little something until i can not be too tired to write again!
‘Ooh, Leah’s got a secret admirer,’ Keira sang out, teasing Leah while they crowded around the bouquet of flowers and note that was left sitting in Leah’s cubby. Keira took the note from Leah’s hand reading it out loud, if any one was around they’d be able to listen in to the contents.
For the last few months Leah had been finding little notes of admiration left around in places that only she would be able to find. The notes started appearing around in places when she was anywhere with arsenal. At training, their home games and also their away games. At first she thought it might’ve been a supporter anonymously giving her support and admiration from afar. It could’ve looked like that especially with some of the shorter notes being pretty generic, ‘your laugh is my favourite sound’ and ‘your smile is pretty just like you’.
Until the longer notes made their appearance, taking the place of the shorter notes. After a month of leaving the shorter notes around for Leah to find, she hadn’t figured out it was you which made you decide to be more brave. Well as brave as you could be hiding behind anonymous letters and gifts. Your letters got longer and more personal and in depth which made Leah clue in that it wasn’t a fan and the likelihood it was some crazed stalker was quite low.
With how personal some of the things were and that she was still receiving flowers and notes even while on camp with England, Leah started considering that it was one of her teammates who Keira had deemed her secret admirer. Even if she was unsure of who was sending and writing her these notes, Leah still thought some of them were beautifully written and even gave her the comfort she needed especially after tough games.
‘I really have no idea who is leaving these for me. Could it be someone here?’ Leah voiced the thought she had been having for a little while now, that it was one of her teammates. They both pondered the thought, realising that it was probably the only reasonable explanation on how these letters always seemed to reach Leah no matter where she was.
‘Our next mission, finding out who your secret admirer is,’ Keira laughed, slightly wiggling her eyebrows, teasing Leah even more.
‘Our next mission is training,’ Leah rolled her eyes, shaking her head and gently pushing at her best friend.
Already out on the pitch you watched as the pair walked out joining the rest of the team before training started. Ever since you met Leah you had been infatuated with her. The way she was kind and helpful to you when you started at arsenal and when you got your first call up for the lionesses, it instantly drew you in. The only problem was that you had no idea how to properly talk to her. It wasn’t unknown that Leah can be intimidating, she definitely intimidated you. Whenever you could be around her within a group setting you were always there, even from slightly afar your feelings towards Leah continued to grow.
It frustrated you how you didn’t even know how to befriend Leah, only being able to be around her whenever other girls from either team were there. At first you weren’t even going to leave her the letters, only writing them for yourself as a way to get your feelings out. Feeling like you would implode from how greatly you were feeling for Leah, luckily writing it out had helped you. Unlucky for you that one of the letters had slipped out and fallen in a place where Leah would find it. While you never wrote your name on any, all the letters were addressed to Leah so there was no mistaking that it was for her when she eventually found it.
When you saw Leah holding up the coloured paper you knew you had used to write out your feelings, your heart started to race. Immediately trying to think of a way you could get far away from Leah just in case. But the small smile that ghosted her lips melted your heart a little. So you continued to leave more hoping that same smile would always make its appearance, wanting nothing more than to make sure Leah was happy. In some way you could still be in her life.
Nights before matches weren’t great for you, always ending up struggling to sleep from the build up of nerves. Eventually you’d be able to push the nerves away enough to be able to sleep but tonight proved to be the hardest you’ve faced since your first national camp. Finding yourself scribbling out a little note for Leah as a way to distract you from your nerves at the match the next day.
Not wanting to keep the letter on you knowing it would be more risky with everyone on top of each other in the hotel and thinking everyone would be asleep by now you decided to deliver the letter. Sneaking out of your room and down the hallway towards the room you knew Leah was staying in, you made sure to be quiet enough so no one would wake up and find you out in the hallway at this time knowing you couldn’t make up a lie to save your life.
Though you didn’t account for Leah to still be awake having gotten lost in all different kinds of puzzle games on her phone. You shuffled around a little outside the door to her room contemplating whether you should actually slide the letter underneath the door or throw it out and make your way back to your own room.
Leah had heard some noises outside the door in the hallway and had gotten up to check it out, to see if it was any of her teammates needing help. She was about to open the door when she saw the familiar coloured paper and knew it was another letter. You were still standing outside the door lost in your thoughts, wishing you had more courage to actually talk to Leah, when you suddenly came face-to-face with the girl that clouded your thoughts. Leah’s face matching the same surprise and shock as your own.
‘You were the one who wrote me all these letters?’ Leah was the first on to break the silence between the two of you, quickly stepping out into the hallway beside you and quietly shutting the door, ‘Why didn’t you just come talk to me?’
Leah’s eyebrows furrowed a little. While she had caught your interest, little did you know that you had caught Leah’s interest. She found the way you could instantly light up the room and change a sullen atmosphere into a lighter more joyful one quite endearing. Always wanting to get to know you and talk to you more but she could never seem to get you alone, always with a group of people whenever the two of you were around each other. Leah always watched you from afar, she’d become quite proud of the footballer you’d become since she first met you. After a tough match she’d always be looking around wanting to catch a glimpse of the smile you’d always be wearing to try and cheer everyone up. Leah was relieved knowing you had been the one writing her the letters.
‘I think I practised talking to you and asking you out a couple hundred times in the mirror,’ You sighed out, softly laughing at how ridiculous you felt sharing this with Leah. But she’d already read so many letters from you so you might as well confess everything now, ‘But anonymous notes was all the courage I could muster,’ You whispered out, looking around a little fidgeting with your fingers.
‘You practised asking me out? On yourself?’ Hearing the amusement in Leah’s voice, you looked up seeing her slightly smirking at you.
‘Of course that’s what you focused on,’ You shook your head, a small smile starting to creep it’s way onto your face when it suddenly dropped and you took a deep breath, ‘Well Le, now you know that it’s me…would you want to go out with me some time?’ You raised your eyebrow in question, your eyes glimmering with hope that Leah would agree, hoping that maybe she felt the same way.
‘Hm let me see,’ Leah pulled a fake thinking face, but it made your heart deflate not realising she was setting you up and just messing around with you. Leah saw your face drop and instantly reached for your hands, interlocking your fingers with hers while she smiled softly at you, ‘Oh stop the frown, I’d love to go on a date with you,’

please make Mini Williamson a series I loved it so much!!
Milestones || A Mini Williamson story
If you haven’t read part one, it is here.
Leah loved milestones. Whether it was a first date, a first kiss, a first anniversary, she loved it.
What she loved even more, was when the milestones included Amelia.
When Amelia had her first bottle, Leah cried as she held Amelia in her arms whilst feeding her.
When Ami could hold her head up properly. Leah wasn’t home at the time due to her training, but you knew she’d want to know and so you phoned her and she stopped training and drove home to celebrate.
When Amelia started crawling. You were all sat in the living room and Leah was on the floor with Ami. Amelia was having her tummy time for the day and soft giggles filled the room as Leah played with some of her toys with her.
Your heart melted as you heard the giggles escaping Ami’s mouth.
You watched on as Leah encouraged her to crawl.
She set Ami up on her knees and after about seven times of Amelia face planted the soft carpet, she set one knee in front of the other and made her way over to her mummy.
Leah’s smile widened as she realised Amelia had crawled for the first time. Once Ami had reached Leah, Leah enveloped her in a hug, Amelia immediately melting into Leah’s body.
Unknowingly to Leah, you had recorded the whole thing.
You posted it on TikTok and the fans loved it.
And Leah did too. She loved the thought of being able to show her fans the pride she felt for Amelia in that moment.
However, the biggest milestone Amelia had achieved was her first steps.
Just four days before her first birthday, Amelia took her first steps.
Alessia, Amelia’s godmother, had come down to St Albans to spend the weekend for Amelia’s birthday.
Most of the Arsenal and England girls had been invited for a get together for her birthday, but Alessia insisted that she wanted to spend the weekend because she hadn’t seen you all in months.
You couldn’t say no, you loved Alessia like she was your little sister and having her around was always a treat.
It had been a quiet day. Leah had gone to training in the morning which meant you and Amelia spent the day showing Alessia round St Albans.
You went in a few shops and bought a few lasts minute gifts for Ami.
With a mix of yours and Leah’s presents for her, plus all your family and friends, It was safe to say that she was going to be spoilt for her birthday.
The current spare bedroom, was filled with presents.
Alessia was sleeping in the spare bedroom and was constantly going on about how toys were falling on her whilst she was sleeping.
You arrived back home just in time for Leah to get back from training.
You had made a cuppa for both you and Less, settling on the couch before Leah walked through the door.
She walked into the living room, planting a kiss on your lips before picking up Amelia who laughed as Leah pressed kisses all over her face.
Alessia was sat on the floor playing with Ami whilst you and Leah spoke about her training session.
“It was like a rocket, baby. It went straight past Manu.” Leah explained, and you smiled at her genuine excitement.
“I’m sure it did, le. Well done, love.” You said to her, cuddling more into her side as you continued to watch Alessia play with Amelia.
You watched as Amelia tried to climb up to stand.
She had mastered standing at that point but it was just the walking part.
Less helped stabilise her before encouraging her to walk.
With the speed of light, Leah had separated from your touch and found herself sitting opposite Alessia.
“Come on, baby girl, you can do it.” Leah said to Amelia, who couldn’t understand a words Leah had just said.
Amelia put one foot in front of the other and slowly made her way to Leah.
You all clapped her on as a massive smile appeared on Amelia’s face, clearly loving the attention.
As Ami got to Leah, she fell forwards but Leah caught her before bringing her towards her chest, kissing Amelia’s head over and over again.
You crouched down next to them, taking Amelia from Leah as you too, kissed her head.
After a minute of you and Leah hugging Ami, you gestured for Alessia to join the group hug.
After just thirty seconds, you split away from the hug noticing that Amelia was fast asleep on your chest.
Her head was buried in your neck and her body limp against your chest.
The busy morning and the walking had obviously tired her out.
“I’m so proud of her.” Leah said, fighting back the tears that threatened to spill.
“I am too. Oh, baby, are you crying?” You cooed at Leah, who nodded her head, tears falling down her cheeks.
“She’s not going to be our baby girl for much longer.” Leah managed to get out, her voice breaking.
“Le, she’ll always be our baby girl. Forever.” You told her, bringing your arm to reach Leah, bringing her into your side. “And hey, just think. We’ll get to do this all over again when we have another one.”
“I can’t wait.” Leah stated, a smile taking over her saddened face before placing a kiss on your lips.
“Another one? Awe, Ami gets to be a big sister.” You jumped as Alessia voice filled the room.
“Fuck Less, you scared me.” You turned to look at Alessia on the other side of you, a grin evident on her face as you gently punched her arm.
You’d been so focused on Leah that you’d forgotten Alessia was even in the room.
“I’ll go put Amelia down and then we’ll spend the rest of the day watching movies. Sounds like a plan?” You questioned, Leah immediately nodding but Alessia looked away, biting her lip. “Alessia, what did you do?” You knew her oh so well, knowing that she’d done something she shouldn’t have.
“I may have bragged to Tooney that I helped Ami take her first steps. But I forgot to check if I was private messaging her, so it turns out, that I accidentally messaged the group chat and now all the England girls are making their way here.” Alessia explained, Leah’s eyes widening as she checked her phone which confirmed that Alessia’s story was in fact true.
Messages with congratulations to Amelia filled Leah’s phone.
The rest of the afternoon was hectic. It was hectic but full of love.
All Leah’s teammates were family at this point and the fact some of them had travelled hours just to spend the afternoon with your daughter just showed how much they loved her.
Amelia was still asleep when most of them got there but as soon as the sound of crying was heard from the baby monitor, Leah jumped up to go get her.
Le walked back into the room, everyone gathering round to greet the mini Williamson.
You watched as Leah grinned at all her friends with Amelia.
Lia took Ami from Leah and Leah immediately walked over to you, sitting down next to you on the couch.
“So, you mentioned another one.” Leah began, not taking her eyes off her teammates, just imaging them all with Amelia and another baby.
“Whenever you’re ready, I’m ready. Of course, Ami’s still young but I’m ready when you are.” You whispered to Leah, your head resting on her shoulder.
“Two mini Williamsons? God help the world.” Tooney exclaimed, sneaking up behind you and obviously overhearing the conversation.
“I now know where Alessia gets it from.”

Since you’re taking requests could you please do one where it’s R and Leah’s like 3 year anniversary or something and R plans out a nice surprise but Leah forgets and shows up late which upsets R a lot. Something angsty but with a happy ending 🤭
You forgot?
Tumblr media
Angst (Happy ending), some fluff
-
“You forgot? You fucking forgot?! Are you shitting me right now Leah?” You scream at her, hands out.
“Baby I’m sor-“she tries.
“No! You don’t get to call me that right now. Just drive.” Leah sighed and pressed down on the pedal.
-
“Happy anniversary baby girl” You whisper to Leah, her eyes fluttering open at the light kisses being left all over her face.
“Mmmh” she grins and turns to you, pulling you in for a proper one. “Happy anniversary” she whispers, smiling brightly at you and then leaning in to kiss you again. Your kisses turn heated and end in some passionate morning sex, causing you both to run a little late, but you both didn’t care, claiming it had to be done to celebrate your third anniversary. Since you were now running late you had agreed to give each other your presents later tonight.
“Darling, meet me there at 6:30 okay? I’ll text you the address so you can pop it in your phone” You peck her lips, walking to the other side of the garage to get in your car.
“Babe please tell me what it is” she whines.
“No can do my love, it’s a surprise just wait and see” you grin, lowering yourself into your car.
“Ughhh” she groans, getting in her own car. You turn and give her a wink through the window as you reverse out of the garage, and you catch her rolling her eyes. You honk loudly at her, and she winds the window down.
“I better not have just seen you rolling your eyes at me missy”, she smiles guiltily but proudly, “Alright then, no more celebratory sex for you” You give her a smug grin and wind your window up.
“No baby wait!” Her calls fall on deaf ears as you roll out the driveway.
-
You text Leah the address once you arrive at work, along with some teasing words. The address included just the street name, and you had told her to meet you in the car park, still wanting the element of surprise for your final destination.
Your day flies by and before you know it, it’s time to leave for the restaurant. You had booked in Leah’s favourite, it was a 6-month waiting list and a lot of sweet talking, but you knew it was all worth it for your girl. After dinner, you planned to take her to the place you two first met, a local pub in Milton Keynes. You first encountered the blonde when you and your best friend were forced to share the dart board with her family, and it all skyrocketed from there. You thought it’d be a nice idea to take her back there, even though the two of you regularly went with Leah’s mum, you thought it’d be a special idea for today, just the two of you.
You changed into the outfit you had brought to work. A long black dress, with a slit down the side of the right thigh. It was Leah’s favourite dress of yours, and every time you wore it, it always ended up being almost ripped to shreds by her at the end of the night. You jumped in the car and quickly texted Leah, “Leaving now xx” before driving off. When you arrived at the restaurant you checked your phone to find your message unread. You didn’t worry too much, assuming she must have been driving on her way. You waited a while longer however there was still no sight of the blue-eyed girl. It was nearing a couple of minutes past your reservation when you decided you were going to have to go into the restaurant, knowing you’d lose the booking otherwise. Once you were seated at the table, you checked your phone—still nothing. You decided to call her, however, the phone rang out to her adorable voicemail that she hadn’t changed in 6 years.
After another 30 minutes passed and all you received was radio silence from Leah you began to worry. You knew she wouldn’t intentionally stand you up, you had been together for three years for god's sake. So, with that in mind, worrying thoughts began to run through your head. Had she been in an accident? Stabbed? God where the fuck is she! After being told by the hostess that you had already occupied an hour and a half of your two-hour booking you decided to call some of the Arsenal girls as they would’ve been the last to see her.
“Y/n? Is everything okay?”
“Lia! Oh, thank God! I’m sorry to disturb you but I was meant to meet Leah over an hour ago and I haven’t heard from her. Do you have any idea where she is?” You rambled into the phone, receiving a few strange looks from the surrounding tables.
“Oh um, Leah!” she called out,
“Yeah?” you heard your girl on the other end of the phone,
“Y/n is on the phone; you were meant to meet her?” Lia responds,
“Fuck fuck fuck shit fuck!” Is all you hear, and you can instantly tell the Milton Keynes twang in her cuss. “Baby god fuck I am so sorry, the girls were all going out for drinks and I completely lost track of time” She tried to reason through the speaker. Your worries instantly faded but anger fuelled inside of you. The phone bruised your hand as you gripped it.
“Where. The fuck. Are you?” You quipped, tight-lipped.
“Danny’s bar, babe I’m sor-“, you hung up on her not wanting to hear the pathetic reasoning for her absence. You hurriedly exit the restaurant, sincerely apologising, not before they pull you back and force you to pay a hefty fee for the time. You pay and angrily storm to your car, driving straight to the bar where Leah is. Once you arrive you stride in, instantly spotting or rather hearing the loud group of girls. Katie calls you over and you happily waltz towards her, still in your dress. You don’t spot Leah at the table.
“Your girl is at the bar” Katie slings an arm around your shoulder,
“I don’t care” you reply, taking her drink and chugging it down.
“Finally, someone who wants to have a bit of fun!” Katie exclaims, “I’ll get us some shots.” She winks.
“Put it on Leah’s tab” you shout after her as she heads to the bar. At the sound of her name, Leah turns around to find you sat at the table. Her eyes widen and fear washes over her face. She swallows and begins to walk over to you slowly. As she goes to sit down you all but look at her and slide your handbag to reserve the spot next to you, “taken”. You still refuse to face her. Leah knows better than to plead with you now, not wanting to make a scene, so she allows you to ignore her. She nods and walks around to the other side of the table, opposite you.
-
As the minutes ticked by, more alcohol went down your throat. You were slightly tipsy at this point. Leah had still not spoken to you, as you refused to acknowledge her, but you could feel the burn of her eyes on you all night.
Before you knew it, everyone was starting to twinkle their way out, tipsy goodbyes being shared around. Leah, who had still not quipped a word, followed you to your car. Having been driven there by Lia, and also knowing you’d had far too much to drink to drive yourself.
You both walked silently towards the car, you with an extra rage in your step. When you made it to the door you pulled out your keys. The car squeaking noises back and forth as you kept locking and unlocking the car. Leah grabbed your hand to help, and you pulled away, hard. “Baby just let me help you unlock the car”, she pleaded.
“One, don’t call me that. Two, I don’t need help.” You scoffed, continuing to tumble with the buttons. Leah sighed, not bothered to argue with you. Once you finally got the car unlocked you headed to get into the driver’s seat before Leah grabbed your wrist to stop you.
“Oh no no, you’re not driving” She states.
“What? Why?” you reply, outraged.
“Because you’ve had too much to drink, go to the other side”. You huff, sulking to the passenger side of the car.
-
The beginning of the drive was silent, until your mind began to sober up, and begin wondering.
“You can sleep on the couch” You quipped to Leah.
“What! Why?” She squeaked back.
“Why do you think!?” You began to raise your voice. Leah pulled over to the side of the road, knowing this could get a little messy.
“Y/n, I’m sorry, It just completely slipped my mind, I completely forgo-“
“You forgot? You fucking forgot?! Are you shitting me right now Leah?” You scream at her, hands out.
“Baby I’m sor-“she tries.
“No! You don’t get to call me that right now. Just drive.” Leah sighed and pressed down on the pedal.
-
When you returned home, you marched upstairs, slamming the bedroom door. Leah remained downstairs and sighed at your loud actions. She knew she fucked up and she also knew she wouldn’t get out of this one easy. So, she began assembling everything she’d need to make it up to you.
-
“Baby?” Leah knocked softly at your bedroom door. She was met with silence. “Baby? Can I come in?”. Silence again. Leah decided to softly open the door. Attempting to squeeze through, but struggled due to her current clothing, and accidently pushed the entire door wide open.
She stood there, a little embarrassed, head to toe in a pumpkin costume, flowers in hand, and a small trolley that looked like she had stolen from her little cousin behind her. She smiled softly and awkwardly. You had to stifle back a laugh, covering it with a small cough at the sight. You remained silent.
“I’m sorry, I really am” she whispers. “Let me make it up to you?” she smiles softly, lifting the flowers. You couldn’t stay mad at her little face enclosed in her pumpkin hat. So, you softly nodded and smiled. She smiled brightly and practically ran to you.
-
You both lay in bed naked, sat up against the headboard, Leah’s costume tossed on the floor, her arms around you, your back to her front. The trolley of food is empty, and the smidges of melted chocolate are still visible on both your bodies. “You’re a twat you know?” You turn your neck slightly to turn up and look at her. She smiled down at you.
“I know” she frowns.
“But you’re my twat” you smile. She laughs at your absurd and cheesy words.
She leans into your lips softly smiling, “That I am”.

ellatoone come on girls, we've got this 👏👏👏
maryearps alexa play its coming home 🎶
To say the final started fragile would be a big understatement. Despite spending the evening making up with Leah, being reassured by Jude, and also knowing that the dream wasn't just for Noah, you still found yourself restless and anxious about the next day.
You woke up with a start, the sheets tangled around you from a restless night's sleep. The weight of the upcoming final weighed heavily on your mind, making it nearly impossible to find peace even in sleep. As you pushed yourself out of bed, your legs felt weak, barely supporting your weight as you made your way to the bathroom.
Your reflection in the mirror revealed dark circles under your eyes, evidence of the sleepless nights leading up to the final. You splashed cold water on your face, hoping the shock would snap you out of your anxious state. The water trickled down your face, carrying away some of the tension but leaving the underlying nervousness untouched.
Memories of past nerve-wracking moments flooded your mind as you tried to calm your racing heart. This feeling wasn't new; it was the same intense nervousness you'd experienced before crucial games, like the one that determined your spot on Arsenal. The pressure, the expectations, they all culminated in moments like these, testing your resilience and determination.
Taking several deep breaths, you tried to center yourself, focusing on the rhythmic pattern of your breathing to anchor your swirling thoughts. It was just nerves, you reassured yourself, something you'd overcome before. You remembered the countless hours of training, the sweat and tears poured into honing your skills for moments like this.
As you stood there, trying to gather your thoughts and calm your nerves, you felt a tinge of pain beginning to flare up in your stomach. It caught you off guard, making you wince as you tried to pinpoint the source of the discomfort.
Uncertain about the feeling, you began to stretch, hoping that maybe you had just slept in an awkward position. As you reached up to stretch your arms overhead, you felt the tension in your muscles start to ease, but the pain in your stomach persisted, a nagging reminder of the stress and anxiety you were feeling.
To make matters worse, as everyone else began to grab something to eat, filling their plates with breakfast items to fuel their bodies for the final, you found yourself unable to join them. The lingering pain in your stomach and the overwhelming nervousness made the thought of eating almost impossible.
You watched as your teammates chatted and laughed, the tension from earlier slowly dissipating as they focused on the meal before them. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and warm pastries filled the air, but to you, it was all a blur, your stomach churning at the mere thought of food.
Feeling a pang of disappointment, you tried to push aside the discomfort, reminding yourself that you needed to stay focused and not let the nerves get the best of you. You took a few sips of water, hoping to settle your stomach and provide some relief from the persistent pain.
Despite the physical and emotional challenges you were facing, you knew that you had to stay strong for yourself and your team. As everyone settled down at the table, exchanging encouraging words and rallying each other for the final, you felt a renewed sense of determination wash over you.
Leah and Sarina, sensing the need to rally the team, stepped forward to address the players. "Remember the game against Spain," Leah began, her voice steady and inspiring. "We faced challenges, but we overcame them together. That same resilience and unity will carry us through today."
Sarina nodded in agreement, adding her own words of encouragement. "Each one of you has worked tirelessly to be here. Trust in yourselves and trust in each other. Together, we're unstoppable."
Drawing strength from their words and the collective spirit of the team, you felt a surge of confidence build within you. You knew that you were ready to face whatever challenges the final had in store, armed with resilience, determination, and the unwavering support of those who believed in you."
As the day of the final began to pass on the horizon, the anticipation and excitement were palpable. The team buzzed with energy, fans already cheering and flags wavin, a sea of colors painting a vivid tapestry of support and enthusiasm.
Amidst the throng of supporters, you spotted familiar faces making their way towards you. Your heart swelled with emotion as you saw your dad, mum, brothers Rowan and Elliot, sister Eden, and Jude—your boyfriend—approaching, their smiles bright and infectious.
"Y/N!" Eden exclaimed, wrapping you in a tight embrace. "We're so proud of you!"
Your eyes welled up with tears of joy as you hugged each family member in turn, feeling their love and support enveloping you like a warm blanket.
"Dad, Mum, I'm so glad you're here," you whispered, feeling a lump in your throat.
"We wouldn't miss it for the world," your dad replied, his eyes glistening with pride. "You've worked so hard for this moment, and we're behind you all the way."
"You've been watching" you ask. Elliot looks at you before engulfing you in a hug.
"Oh little sister, you're a bloody star you are-"
"I am?"
"I think we always worried that football killed Noah. But now, seeing you out there- we couldn't have been further from the truth." Rowan admitted, holding your niece in her arms.
Jude comes up behind you handing over a glass of water. You frown slightly before taking it. "You look pale-"
"Yeah, i feel slightly sick i think its the nerves." You admit.
"Noah used to do this too y'know. Before every game. "Rowan reminisces looking over to your dad.
"He did?"
"Mhmm. Couldn't eat anything the night before or day off a match. It was so bad that i remember forcing him to eat mushed banana at the side of the pitch, not letting the referee start before he'd eaten something-" Your mum laughs slightly, before looking down in her own bag. "Now you Mrs, eat up."
She hands you a banana, and you gratefully accept it despite the nausea still very much in your gut.
Your dad smirks before pulling you in for another hug. "I'm so proud of you my little chuck. Who'd of thought, a Morrison at a world cup final!"
Jude admired your family interaction from afar noticing how much effort your brothers especially had put into noticing your talent. It felt like a full circle moment.
Once you pulled away from your dads grasp, Jude stepped forward, taking your hands in his. In a moment filled with love and tenderness, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small velvet box. Opening it, he revealed a delicate silver necklace with a pendant shaped like a soccer ball.
"I wanted you to have this," Jude said softly, placing the necklace around your neck. "So that no matter where you are or what you're doing, you'll always have a piece of me with you."
Tears of gratitude welled up in your eyes as you touched the pendant, moved by Jude's thoughtful gesture. The weight of the upcoming final seemed a little lighter, knowing you carried with you a tangible reminder of his love and support.
"Thank you, Jude," you whispered, your voice trembling with emotion. "I love it, and I love you."
Jude's eyes sparkled as he smiled, pulling you into a tender embrace. "I love you too, Y/N. Go out there and shine. I'll be cheering you on every step of the way."
As you stood there, surrounded by your family and Jude, the noise and excitement of the crowd seemed to fade into the background, replaced by a comforting bubble of love and support. The weight of the upcoming final felt a little less daunting, knowing that you had such an incredible support system behind you.
With renewed confidence and determination, you turned to face your teammates, their faces reflecting the same mix of excitement and nerves that you felt. The energy was infectious, the air charged with anticipation for the final showdown.
“Alright, team,” Leah called out, rallying everyone together. “Let’s channel this energy and focus on the task at hand. We’ve got a final to win!”
Sarina nodded in agreement, her gaze sweeping across the team. “Remember what we’ve worked for, the sacrifices we’ve made, and the bond we’ve forged. This is our moment, and together, we will seize it.”
The team erupted into cheers, the collective spirit palpable as you all joined hands, forming a tight circle. The unity and camaraderie among you were undeniable, the shared goal of victory binding you together.
As you broke from the huddle, your eyes met Jude’s one last time, his encouraging smile giving you the final push you needed. You knew that you were ready, ready to give it your all, ready to leave everything on the field, ready to make your family, friends, and teammates proud.
With a final nod to your loved ones, you joined your teammates, the excitement and anticipation building as you prepared to step onto the field. The final awaited, and you were ready, armed with resilience, determination, and the unwavering support of those who believed in you.
The stage was set, the moment was here, and you were ready to shine.
As the match began, the energy on the field was electric, both teams eager to seize control and make their mark early on. Despite your initial confidence, believing the match might be easier than anticipated, it quickly became apparent that the Spanish team was a force to be reckoned with.
Time and time again, they launched relentless attacks, their skilled players weaving through your defense with precision and determination. Each near miss sent a jolt of anxiety through you, the ball narrowly missing the goal on multiple occasions, the crowd's gasps echoing in your ears.
The pressure was mounting, the Spanish team refusing to back down, their relentless pace and skill testing your defensive capabilities to the limit. You found yourself constantly on the move, chasing after the ball, making desperate tackles, and clearing dangerous crosses, doing everything in your power to keep them at bay.
With each defensive play, you felt the weight of the team's expectations on your shoulders, the collective hope of victory driving you to push through the exhaustion and frustration. The Spanish team's relentless onslaught was a stark reminder that this final would be anything but easy.
Despite the mounting pressure and the relentless attacks, you refused to let doubt creep in, drawing strength from your teammates' unwavering support and encouragement. You dug deep, tapping into your resilience and determination, determined to rise to the challenge and turn the tide in your team's favor.
As the halftime whistle blew, you and your teammates retreated to the sidelines, catching your breath and regrouping for the second half. The score remained level, a testament to your defensive efforts, but the battle was far from over.
Gathering around Leah and Sarina, their words of encouragement resonated with renewed meaning, their belief in the team's ability to overcome the challenges ahead unwavering.
"We knew this wouldn't be easy," Leah began, her voice steady and reassuring. "But we've faced adversity before, and we've come out stronger. Stay focused, trust in each other, and let's show them what we're made of."
Sarina nodded in agreement, her eyes scanning the determined faces of her players. "We've got this, but it's going to take everything we've got. Let's leave it all on the field and bring home that trophy."
With renewed determination and a clear game plan in mind, you and your teammates took to the field for the second half, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. The final awaited, and you were ready to give it your all, knowing that victory was within reach if you stayed united and fought together as one.
A sudden wave of nausea washed over you, and you suddenly found herself doubled over in the bathroom, desperately trying to hold herself together. Unbeknownst to her, Leah noticed the distress and, acting on instinct, rushed in after her.
"Y/N, what's happening? You don't look well," Leah observed, her voice laced with worry.
Y/N, trying to mask her discomfort, managed a weak smile. "Just a bit dizzy, Leah. It's nothing, really."
Leah wasn't convinced, studying Y/N closely. "This isn't 'nothing.' You're pushing yourself too hard. You need to tell Serena; she can make a substitution."
Panic flashed in Y/N's eyes as she whispered urgently, "No, Leah, please. I can do this. I've worked so hard to be here. I just need a moment."
Leah hesitated, torn between compassion and the responsibility she felt for her teammate's well-being. "Y/N, I get it. But you're risking your health. This isn't just about today; it's about the rest of your career."
Tears welled up in Y/N's eyes as she pleaded, "Leah, please. Don't tell anyone. I promise I can get that goal. It's all I've ever dreamed of."
Leah sighed, realizing the depth of Y/N's desperation. "Okay, but you have to promise me that if it gets worse, you'll let someone know. We can't risk your health for a goal."
Y/N nodded gratefully, and the two of them set to work, cleaning up and disguising the toll the match had taken.
Returning to the pitch for extra time, your steps were steadier, though the lingering effects of your physical strain were undeniable. The silent understanding between you and Leah had forged a bond that transcended the confines of the game, a connection that fortified your resolve.
The atmosphere on the field was electric, the Spanish team intensifying their attacks with wave after wave of attempts on goal. Positioned in a defensive role, you fought relentlessly to keep them at bay, intercepting passes and positioning yourself with unwavering focus.
Amidst the relentless Spanish attacks, your resilience shone through. You blocked shots and made crucial tackles, showcasing extraordinary determination to thwart their relentless onslaught. As the pressure mounted, the nausea returned, a testament to the physical toll you were enduring.
When the crucial moment arrived, and the ball found its way to you, Leah's words echoed in your mind – a reminder of the strength that comes from leaning on your teammates. Your legs burned with exhaustion, but the goal beckoned like a distant dream.
With a burst of determination, you kicked the ball towards the goal, the weight of the team's hopes and dreams propelling it forward. The goalkeeper dove in a desperate attempt to make the save, but it was too late.
Jude's eyes widened as he watched you score the crucial equalizing goal, a surge of pride and joy filling his heart. "That's my girl," he whispered, a proud smile stretching across his face.
However, as the euphoria of the equalizing goal engulfed you, your legs gave way beneath you, the weight of exhaustion and adrenaline taking its toll. Lucy and Leah, sensing the urgency, rushed over, their faces etched with concern as they reached out to support you, preventing you from collapsing onto the pitch.
"Are you okay?" Lucy asked, her voice filled with worry.
Leah added, "Stay with us. You've got this."
The stadium, once alive with jubilation, transformed into an arena of shared apprehension. The cheers faded into a hushed silence, replaced by the collective gasp of fans witnessing the abrupt turn of events. The energy in the air shifted from celebration to concern, a palpable tension that spread like wildfire.
With Lucy and Leah's unwavering support, you managed to rise, their arms wrapped around you as they steadied your shaky steps. Their eyes met yours, conveying silent words of encouragement and reassurance.
"You've got this," Leah whispered, her voice steady and reassuring.
Lucy nodded in agreement, "We're in this together, always."
Taking a moment, you closed your eyes, taking a deep, steadying breath, drawing strength from within to push through the pain. Triggering a nostalgic feeling, you decided to acknowledge the fans, a gesture that had become your signature celebration. You bowed deeply, a symbol of gratitude for their unwavering support, and then waved, your gesture echoing the spirited celebrations of your brother, a tribute to his legacy and the strength and resilience that ran in your family.
The crowd responded with thunderous applause and cheers, their support a comforting blanket enveloping you in warmth.
"Y/N Morrison! Y/N Morrison!" a fan shouted from the stands, the chant echoing throughout the stadium, a testament to the impact you had on the hearts of the supporters.
The moment was filled with raw emotion, a blend of triumph, relief, and gratitude. Your teammates, watching from a distance, felt a surge of pride and admiration, their hearts swelling with respect for your determination and resilience.
As you stood, supported by Lucy and Leah, the weight of the moment was felt by all. It was a powerful reminder of the physical and emotional toll of the game, the sacrifices made, and the indomitable spirit that drove you to push beyond your limits.
The memories created in those fleeting moments would forever be etched in your heart, a poignant reminder of the highs and lows of the beautiful game and the unbreakable bonds forged on and off the pitch.
As the match transitioned into extra time, the intensity on the pitch only grew. Sarina, the coach, approached you, her eyes searching yours for any sign of hesitation. "Y/N, are you okay to continue?" she asked, concern evident in her voice.
You nodded, determination shining in your eyes. "I'm good, Sarina. I've got this."
Both teams displayed remarkable resilience during extra time, each side fighting tooth and nail for that coveted advantage. The pace was relentless, with neither team willing to back down.
You found yourself in promising positions, nearly getting a couple of shots on goal, each attempt narrowly missing its mark. The frustration was palpable, but you remained undeterred, your focus unwavering.
On the defensive end, you were called upon to defend with everything you had, throwing yourself into tackles, intercepting passes, and putting your body on the line to keep the opposition at bay. The stakes were high, and every moment was crucial.
Lucy and Leah continued to offer their unwavering support, rallying around you, their presence a constant source of strength and encouragement. Together, you fought valiantly, each player giving their all for the team and the shared dream that had brought you this far.
The clock ticked down, and the tension reached a fever pitch. Every play, every pass, and every shot carried the weight of the match's outcome. The stadium echoed with the roars of the crowd, each cheer a testament to the passion and dedication of the fans who stood by you through every twist and turn.
As the final whistle blew, signaling the end of extra time, both teams were left standing, exhausted but proud. The scoreboard showed a draw, setting the stage for a nerve-wracking penalty shootout to decide the winner.
Both sides huddled together, rallying one another for the impending showdown. The air was thick with anticipation, each player steeling themselves for the crucial kicks that lay ahead.
The memories of the match would forever be etched in your heart, a testament to the resilience, determination, and unbreakable bonds forged in the heat of competition. Now, with the match hanging in the balance, it was time to dig deep, summoning every ounce of strength and courage for the final chapter of this unforgettable journey.
As the shootout progressed, the tension reached new heights, every eye fixed on the pitch, every heart pounding with anticipation. The Spanish players matched your team's efforts, their shots equally accurate and powerful. The pressure was immense, but both teams rose to the occasion, showcasing nerves of steel, the scoreboard reflecting a deadlock with every successful conversion.
**Commentary:** "Spain answering back with authority! This is a shootout for the ages!"
With each successful penalty, the atmosphere grew thicker, the weight of each kick felt by every player, every coach, and every fan in the stadium. The tension was unbearable, the drama unfolding on the pitch captivating the entire world.
Then, a pivotal moment arrived. The Spanish player stepped up for their final penalty, the weight of her team's hopes evident in her eyes. With a deep breath, she struck the ball with power, aiming for the top corner. But Mary Earps, your goalkeeper, had other plans, diving acrobatically to her left to make a spectacular save.
**Commentary:** "Oh, what a save! Earps with the stop of her life! England still in this!"
The stadium erupted in a deafening roar, the momentum swinging decisively in your team's favor. The atmosphere was electric, the crowd on the edge of their seats, the air charged with excitement and anticipation.
But the realization quickly set in – the entire final result of this whole tournamentnow rested on your shoulders. The weight of the moment was immense, the pressure palpable, the silence deafening.
As you walked to the penalty spot, every step echoed with the weight of history, the enormity of the moment sinking in. The crowd fell silent, the only sound being the rhythmic beating of your heart. Lucy Bronze, Alessia Russo, and Leah Williamson offered words of encouragement as you passed them, their belief in you unwavering, their eyes filled with hope and confidence.
You took a deep breath, focusing your mind, channeling the countless hours of training and dedication that had brought you to this moment. The goalkeeper stood tall, the goal seemingly shrinking before your eyes, the net a tantalizing target beckoning you to seize the glory that lay beyond.
The ball rocketed into the net, the goalkeeper diving in vain, the stadium erupting in a cacophony of cheers and jubilation. You had done it, the weight of the moment lifted, the victory secured.
Commentary: “It all comes down to this historic moment! Morrison steps up for England! The weight of 58 years of waiting on her shoulders! Can she deliver the final blow to end England’s World Cup drought?”
The ball soared into the top corner, a rocket of precision and power, the net bulging with the force of a nation’s hopes and dreams finally realized.
Commentary: “She’s done it! Morrison delivers! England wins the World Cup for the first time since 1966! A moment that will be etched in history, a moment that will be celebrated for generations to come! The wait is over, England are champions!”
The stadium was a sea of red and white, flags waving, scarves twirling, voices raised in unison as the realization sank in. Tears of joy flowed freely, embraces shared between strangers, friends, and family alike. The atmosphere was electric, the energy palpable, a collective euphoria sweeping through the crowd like a tidal wave of emotion.
And then it was done. England had done it. They had won the world cup and it was your goal that secured it!
"Noah. We did it." You smiled to yourself before going over to celebrate with your teammates.

Untitled pt.2
Leah x OC
A/N: A little more in my current project. I’m still getting a feel for my characters. Feedback/thoughts welcome.

“What are we at, one more week?” Kim adjusted the weight on the bench press bar.
“Abouts yeah. I make it to the end of the week without any pain and things feel normal, I’ll get to run on the grass with everyone next.”
Kim laid down on the bench. “Well I’m sure you know what I’m going to say, but I’m going to say it anyway. Don’t do anything stupid and listen to your body. If something is off, waiting an extra day or 2 isn’t going to kill you.” She pushed the bar up off the rack. “Trust me.” She grunted as she lowered the bar to her chest.
“I hear you. And I won’t.”
“Hey Caps.” Beth came bouncing to the end of the bench. “Le, what time do we have the venue for Saturday?”
“Umm, 9 until whenever really. Though I told ‘em it would probably wrap up around 5. 6 hours for a baby shower seemed like more than enough.” Leah answered as she spotted Kim.
“Probably right on that. So we have 2 hours to decorate? That should be plenty. I think Steph has the catering scheduled for between 10 and 11.” Beth twisted her lips as she tried to remember.
“What did I do?”
“Catering. What time is that showing up?”
“Ah, yeah. 10:30 bouts. I’ll call and confirm on Thursday though.”
Kim put the bar back on the rack and sat up. “If we can get in at 9, I’ll schedule the cake and sweets to come around 10.”
“So we just need all the girls to show up at 9 to set up?” Leah switched with Kim after removing a few pounds from either end of the bar.
“Yeah, that should be about it. Caitlin promised that she kept a check on Katie and the games, but Stina is going to claim that she will be the one running the games so she can see what she came up with.”
“Good idea Meado. When Katie called dibs on games and said she was going to use a few “McCabe family classics” I was a bit worried about what those would entail. You really never know what you might get with an Irish family that large.” Kim helped Leah lift the bar to start her set.
“I thought most of Katie’s siblings were younger than her?” Steph asked.
“Ask her to name all her cousins some time.” Lotte interjected as she joined the group. “We talking about Erin’s baby shower?” The group nodded. “You know she’s right there.” Lotte pointed across the room to Erin, their social media content creator, who was sitting in a chair with a laptop balanced on a very round belly. “I thought this was supposed to be a surprise.”
“She has her headphones in editing. She can’t hear anything.” Beth shrugged. “You have everything worked out with Dylan?”
“Yeah. Him and Tao have some plan that Dylan swears Erin will fall for. They’re going to tell her I have a children’s event to attend so I can help set up.”
“Great. And Viv has been talking to Erin’s family, she just needs to confirm the time with them.” Beth added.
“What about Dylan’s family?” Leah said as she finished her set in the bench press. “I know they're American, but is Dylan’s parents planning on being here when Gemma is born? They might be in by then.”
Lotte shook her head. “Dylan told me and Tao he doesn’t talk to anyone in his family besides his cousin Rose.”
“Wait, isn’t that the middle name they’re giving Gemma?” Steph asked.
“Yeah. Rose is the cousin he grew up with. Dylan talks about her like a sister. I think she’s a year or two older. But she’ll be there. So he’ll at least have some family.” Lotte finished.
“Sounds like this is going to be a fantastic party for our little Gooner and her mum.” Kim looked around the group. “But now, finish up your reps. We’re on the pitch in 30.”
Everyone saluted their captain before dispersing.
**************************
The week for the most part had gone smoothly. The team didn’t have their first January game for another 10 days. But Leah was finally going to be able to join team trainings next week, after almost 9 months, and the anticipation was wearing her thin. Several times she was asked if she was excited, or nervous, and repeatedly reminded that the wait was almost over. Almost. She was sure Saturday was going to be full of the same, though the full Arsenal staff and then some would be at Erin’s baby shower, so Leah would hear it ten fold. She needed a break. Which is how she found herself out to dinner on a Friday night, alone, sitting at the end of the bar top of the restaurant she had come to the previous week. She had come in a little earlier this time though, hoping it would be less crowded before the dinner rush, and she had been right, allowing her to get the same seat at the end with her back to everyone else. Tonight she would be any other diner. Not soon to return from injury, Leah Williamson.
Leah greeted Colin as she took her seat, ordering a glass of Chardonnay. The bar keep was placing the glass in front of Leah with a menu before she had even gotten comfortable.
“Would you like the chicken again?” The ginger asked.
“Might do an app first. Take my time and do some reading on my phone if it’s no bother.” Leah smiled.
“Not at all. I’d say the hummus is great. That and the pitas are made in house.”
“Yeah? Alright. I’ll start with that, thanks.” Leah pushed the menu back towards Colin. “And I’ll order the chicken a little later.”
Colin reached for the menu. “I’ll have that right out.”
Leah leaned back in her chair and pulled up the book she was reading on her phone. Picking the wine glass up off the bar, she took a small sip and relaxed. Colin placed a plate in front of her a short time later and for the next 20 minutes or so, she enjoyed her wine and appetizer completely uninterrupted while she read. The noise in the restaurant slowly rose as the main dining area filled and the seats at the bar top were taken one by one. Colin had just refilled her wine and was putting in her dinner order when someone finally claimed the last seat next to her.
“Is this seat taken, miss?”
Leah had heard that voice before. She lowered her phone. “No it’s not. By all means.” She smiled at the new guest. “Hello again RJ.”
“Miss Williamson.” RJ smiled softly as they pulled out the chair before placing their coat over the back. “Nice seeing you here again.”
“Will you be watching another football match?” Leah asked as she watched RJ prop their phone up on top of the bar.
“I was planning on finally watching Sinclair’s last international match. Figured if I did it in public I wouldn’t cry.” RJ waved at Colin and gave him a thumbs up. Clearly not needing words to order.
“Are you Canadian?”
RJ chuckled and shook their head slightly. “No. But as a kid I just kind of decided she was my favorite player and that was that. Figured after a month I should finally just bite the bullet and watch the damn game.”
“Mmmm, yeah, retirement games are hard to watch. She’s still playing one more year for the Thorns though, yeah?” Leah finished the last of her wine and caught Colin’s eye, signally for another glass.
“She is. But that doesn’t make watching this any easier.” RJ picked up their phone and waved it before unlocking it. Leah couldn’t help but notice that their background looked like an abstract black and white print of some sort. Once RJ had the game queued up they set it back on the bar top. “You’re welcome to watch. But I won’t bother you if you wish to continue what you were doing.” They hit the play button on the screen.
“Thank you. I think I might try to finish this chapter of the book I was reading.” Leah turned back to her phone as Colin placed RJ’s drink down and refilled Leah’s wine glass. The pair sat in companionable silence as Leah continued reading.
“Who do you think is going to take the armband in the future?” Leah broke the silence after putting her phone down. “Sinc has been captain far longer than I can remember.”
“Fleming.” JR’s said with a seconds hesitation.
“Seriously? She’s so young?”
RJ turned in their chair and looked Leah straight in the eye. “Really?” They paused for a moment. “You, the youngest captain in England history, is going to say that Jessie Fleming, who is 25, is too young.”
“Oh. Yeah I see your point.”
“Aside from her age.” RJ turned back. “She’s been a regular fixture on the national team for about 9 years. When Sinc and Schmidt stepped off this field she was the 4th longest tenured player on the team.” RJ took a sip of their drink.
“You aren’t just a casual fan, are you?
RJ side-eyed Leah. “What makes you say that?”
“A casual fan generally doesn’t know those types of statistics for a player who don’t play for their team”
“How do you know she doesn’t play for “my team”?” RJ used air quotes. “She may not play for the US, but.”
“Ew. You’re a Chelsea fan?” Leah dramatically recoiled further from RJ who just laughed.
“No.” RJ smiled. A full bright, cheerful smile. “I am a fan of the players individually, especially Fishel and Macario. But not the team as a whole.”
“Do you even have a WSL team?” Leah raised an eyebrow.
“I do.” RJ smirked. “And don’t worry. They wear the right shade of red.” They leaned back in their seat. “Can I ask you something? None football related and not terribly personal.” They rushed out the last bit. “And you obviously don’t have to answer.”
“Well with those conditions, sure.”
RJ tilted their head. “If you hadn’t become a pro footballer, what would you have chosen to do?”
“Probably an accountant or something like that. I’m pretty good with numbers and enjoy that there is always an answer to any problem.”
“Figures.”
“What’s that s’pose to me?” Leah asked, offended by the assumption, regardless of what it was.
“You play football like a mathematician, calculated.”
“Oh.” Leah adjusted in her seat, sitting up a bit straighter. “Thank you.”
RJ just hummed in response.
“What about you? You obviously know what I do and now what I would do.” Leah relaxed a bit in her chair. “Colin said you did something in media, I think.”
RJ glanced down the bar at the mentioned bartender. “Digital media.”
“What do you do in digital media? That seems like a, a very broad field. And do you work for a company in the UK?”
RJ took a long slow sip of their drink, clearly stalling as they then swirled the liquid in the glass before answering. “The company is US based. I do a lot of behind the scenes stuff, sometimes editing, camera work, desk stuff.”
Leah picked up her phone. “Must be a small company if you’re doing all of that. Is there an Insta page I can check out? Give a like.”
“Yes, we have an Instagram account.”
“Okay. What’s the name of the company?” Leah had the app open and was just waiting.
RJ had their glass to their lips when they answered. “-third.”
“What was that?”
“Attacking Third.” RJ repeated.
“Really? That’s the show that covers the NWSL, right?” Leah started looking at the company's account on their app. “If they cover the NSWL, what are you doing here? Covering former NWSL players or something?”
“Something like that.”
Colin approached with a plate in hand. “Ms. Williamson, your chicken.” He slid the plate onto the bartop. “Enjoy. RJ, did you want anything?” RJ raised their now empty glass. “Be right back.”
After Colin dropped off the drink, the pair continued watching the game in silence as Leah ate her meal. Her plate was finished and cleared away when the match hit halftime. “I should get going. I have an event I need to be at tomorrow morning with the girls that will be far more mentally draining than 90 minutes on the pitch.”
RJ chuckled. “I can only imagine.”
The footballer gave the other patron a soft smile. “It was good to see you again. Maybe we’ll get lucky again.”
“I’ll get my hopes up.” They smiled. “Have a good evening Ms. Williamson.”

Helloo, hope your well! In celebration of Leah’s comeback can we get a smut fic 😁
I was thinking the context could be based on Leah’s girlfriend treating her to a massage that maybe turns sexual bcs Leah gets intensely turned on. Could the fic be mainly Leah receiving but not necessarily being overly submissive (maybe just in the middle idk). Could u include tribbing, Leah receiving from a vibrator maybe? Plus whatever else you’d like to include.
And in terms of the context of it being after her comeback game, you can explain and include that however you’d like :)
Louder than the crowd
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pure smut pretty much - long build up - tiny bit of fluff?
Word Count: 1,433
-
“I’m so fucking proud of you” you whisper to Leah, your hands holding both sides of her face. Your body stretched over the barricade on the side of the pitch. You both give each other small kisses, eyes glossed over, before engulfing each other in the tightest hug, risking popping her shoulder next. “I’m going to make you scream a lot louder than that crowd did tonight”. You both smirk at each other before leaning in again.
-
Leah’s family and you decided to take Leah out for a celebratory dinner after the game at a local pub. By the time you both arrived home, you could tell Leah was exhausted. Her body was slumping, and she moved slowly.
She sat on the couch, feet on the coffee table, you looked over at her and sighed. You began to walk over to her and straddled her lap. “Well, hello there” she smiles.
“Hi,” you smile back. You lean in and exchange a few slow kisses before you pull back. “What do you think of some wine and a massage?” you smirk and play with the baby hairs on the back of her neck.
“Oh baby, I’m sorry but I’m far too tired to give you a massage tonight, maybe tomorrow?” she sighs.
“No, you idiot, for you” You laugh at her absurdity.
“Oh! Well in that case, yes fucking please”.
“Off you go upstairs then, take your clothes off, I’ll meet you up there”.
“You sure this is just a massage babe?” she raises an eyebrow, you wink at her, tapping her bum to signal her to go.

You’ve set the room up, lights off, multiple candles lit, oil on the go, a playlist of slow sensual music playing through the speaker, and an almost naked Leah laid stomach down on your bed. You walk over towards the bed and trace your fingers over your girlfriend's toned back. She twists her neck to look back at you and smiles. You move your fingertips to trace the laced red underwear she wears and continue to slowly guide along her hip bone. You make eye contact with her and smile before slowly straddling her ass.
You’re dressed in short but loose bed shorts, and an oversized t-shirt belonging to the blonde underneath you. You lean forward, placing your hands on the bed, either side of Leah’s shoulders and move your face down to softly kiss her left shoulder. You continue on, extremely slow to her right, then move to the middle and up the back of her neck. You hear Leah’s breath turn shaky and you smile against her skin. You lift yourself back upright and begin to turn over the bottle of oil you’ve had lying next to you. “I heated this up a little bit so it shouldn’t be too cold”, you tell her before squeezing lines of oil over her back. You decide to get creative and squeeze it into a love heart, softly smiling before placing the bottle down.
You start to smooth the oil over Leah’s still summer-tanned skin. The oil is warm and so is Leah. The sight of your hands gliding over her muscled back cause you to roll your hips on her ass ever so slightly.
As you begin to apply pressure to her shoulders you feel Leah let out a sigh. You continue on her back for about ten minutes before you decide to move to her legs. Before you do, you run your hands along her sides, grazing the side of her boobs before meeting her waist and eventually her hips. Leah lets out a muffled moan and wiggles around a little. You slide your hands down her ass, then all the way to her ankles.
You begin her leg massage at the bottom of her calves, moving up and increasing pressure, you feel Leah relax into your touch, and you can tell how much it is helping. You are soft around the back of her knees and then move towards her thighs.
Before beginning you spread her legs a little wider, to allow you more access to her thighs. You see Leah’s groin push itself subtly into the mattress and you giggle to yourself. You once again squeeze strands of oil onto the back of her thighs and rub it in with pressure. Leah seemed to be relaxed until you eventually moved to her inner thighs. She began to squirm, a lot. “Baby, stay still,” you tell her.
“Mmhh” she grunts back.
“Do you want me to do here as well?” you whisper in her ear, cupping her ass, leaning on her back. Her breath almost stops.
“Oh fuck” she mumbles.
“Is that yes, my love?
“Y/n, I think you know the answer to that”, you smirk at her words and grab the laced red covering her ass, pulling it down till it is discarded on the floor. You immediately notice her incredibly wet pussy and watch as it begins to drip onto the sheets. You bite your lip hard and return to the massage, kneading your hands into her ass. After about 20 seconds of slow kneading and lots of grunts from the blond's mouth she reaches her hand behind her back to meet yours and directs it to feel how wet she is. You move your fingers around slowly, spreading it all over until you suddenly slap one of her cheeks and flip her over to her back.
She looks up at you, now straddling her crotch. You keep eye contact and slowly lick your fingers, tasting her. She bites her lip and reaches her hands out to touch the bottom of your (her) shirt. She tilts her head up signalling you to take it off. You follow her command and lift the shirt over your head. You lean down once again and slowly hover your chest over her face. She places one hand on your waist and the other on your left boob. She licks across your breast slowly before softly biting your nipple. She runs her left hand down your back while she begins to suck, before moving to your right and repeating the same action. You move your face to hover over hers and attach your lips. You both begin to get more passionate, Leah’s tongue inserting itself into your mouth. She moves around your mouth, as you do hers, both of you grinding into each other. She pulls back, “take these off” she whispers, pulling at your shorts. Which you do immediately, removing yourself off the bed and slowly dragging your shorts and underwear to the floor.
As you move back onto the mattress you position yourself on your knees in between Leah’s legs. You smile at her and look down at the beautiful woman beneath you. Running your hands from her collarbone to her hipbone you let out a shocked sigh at just how sexy she is. You lock eyes with her again, before lifting her right leg up over your shoulder, shifting yourself further towards her. You then slowly begin to lift your right leg over her left, holding eye contact with her, as her breaths quicken.
As soon as you lower yourself, you’re met with the wet centre of your girlfriend. The contact makes you gasp, and you immediately need more. You begin to roll your hips slowly into her, both of you incredibly wet, filling the room with the sound of you two against one another. You feel Leah begin to start grinding as well. As you both continue grinding into one another, your wetness spreading across both of your thighs, moans begin to fill the room. You tilt your head back and Leah places her hand on your hip, forcing you to move faster. You move one of your hands to her tit and squeeze hard. “Good girl baby, keep going, fuck”, you grunt. You keep grinding, harder and harder, and so does she.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck” she screams. “Keep going, yes, fuck!”
“I’m gonna cum baby, cum with me, please, come on” she speaks through moans.
You both speed up, your sheets almost as wet as you are now.
“I’m cumming, fuck! Ugh! Yes! Fuck…God…oh fuck” She moans, along with you as you both cum against each other, both of you so wet its slipping into each other. “God you’re so fucking good” she pants. You smile at her before moving up to peck her lips.
“I told you I’d make you scream louder than the crowd”, you smile against her.
“Shhhh” she whispers, leaning into you once again.
