Nailah would eat anything that was put in front of her for the longest time, as she didn't have the means to afford different food should the offered meal be one she disliked. Even when she'd make food for herself her focus would be more on sustenance than enjoyment, with only the barest of seasonings to make things palatable.

After she became more wealthy (and several brushes with poisoned wines/meals), she's become much more picky when she has the freedom to do so. She's extremely reluctant to try foods from strangers and prefers vegetarian dishes, though she will treat herself to pescatarian foods if she prepares them herself.

She will lie and claim allergies should someone try to force food on her, but she has yet to find any foods she's actually allergic to.
