GODSPEED WHATS THAT ABOUT 👀

Godspeed is about a relationship that forced to be out of its comfort zone. And recently I got hit by the realization that I wrote a lot of domestic romance in my fics so it's mostly this and a bit angsty, no wait, I'll stop measuring the angst or else you guys will come for me abt it. 😬

I'll give you a snippet to give you just a little of the plot and also bcs I promised another anon that I'll share it so here ya go:

"7 years!"

People always surprised whenever you tell them that you've been dating for 7 years. Eyes widened, mouth hung open and in a second, profanities would start coming out of their mouth.

"No fucking way!" Your friend exclaimed in disbelief and exchanged a shocked glance with her boyfriend.

"We started dating since high school!" Felix added, putting an arm around your shoulder and you offered your hand to intertwine with him.

"How did you do that?" Your other friend asked.

"I mean, did you guys fight?" Her boyfriend added another question.

Felix snorted because the question was so silly to him and the answer was kind of obvious, "Of course! In fact, we fight a lot!"

"You should be there when we argue about which girl scout cookies is the best," you said with a laugh and sipped your beer.

"Or whenever we have to decide what to eat for dinner!" Felix added, taking your cup and have a sip of your beer.

The boyfriend seemed to be struggling accepting the fact that it's possible to date someone that long, "I mean..." he stuttered, hesitated to ask what he was trying to ask.

"Have you guys, I don't know like bored with each other or something?" He innocently asked.

Your friend punched him on the chest for being rude.

"What?"

She glared at him for asking such rude and personal question and being nonchalant about it.

"I'm just curious!" He defended himself, "you guys dated and probably have sex with the same person for 7 years, I think it's plausible that at some point you bore each other out."

Your friend rolled her eyes and couldn't believe he said all that, embarrassing her in the process.

"No, that's okay," you said, assured them that you didn't take the question personally.

"I'm really sorry. But I'm kind of curious too, because I've been dating him for 8 months now and I already wanted to kill him," she said with yet another death glare at him.

Felix put the cup away and put his hand on your waist, "first thing first, it's not always about the sex," he started.

You nodded in agreement.

"Secondly, sometimes it's about the sex," he continued with a low laugh.

You playfully elbowed him on the stomach.

"Ouch! That hurts, babe!" He yelped at you, "I'm not finished yet."

You slightly turned your head at him, "okay then continue," you ordered.

"Thirdly, bored?" Felix looked at the boyfriend in the eyes in disbelief and clicked his tongue.

"I don't think I'll ever get bored of her." Felix remarked like it was easy for him to say.

You glanced at him and shot him the are-you-sure look?

"Just look at her!" He told them then gazed into your eyes.

"She's so endlessly fascinating!" He says with a dreamy smile with eyes filled with admiration and affection.

It has been seven years and he always knows how to make your heart fluttering no matter how cringey he could be when he does it.

"Aww baby!" You cooed at him, swooned. You placed a soft kiss on his lips in which he eagerly returned, for a second forgetting that you were in a party and were talking to another couple who were sitting across from you.

"Okay, okay, we get it now!" Your friend said, stopping the two of you from turning the kiss into a hot making out session.

"And that will earn you a good head later!" Felix joked.

You tipped your head upward to look at him, "how are you so sure?"

"Oh, come on! I deserve that!" He grumbled at you while tightening his hands around you.

You shook your head, "you're not getting any," you persisted.

He sighed and looked at the couple who witnessed everything, "See? We fight!" Felix said with a defeated look on his face.

It's boyfriend Felix at its finest 😌

1) How many complete fics/one shots do you have that you have not published (yet)? I post everything when I finish it.

2) How many WIPS do you have right now? 11, some of them being worked on more actively than others.

3) Do you take writing requests or write original ideas, or both? Anyone is welcome to ask me for stuff at any point. I might say no but so far I've said yes.

4) If you do take requests, how many do you currently have? Don't have any at the moment.

5) How many fandoms do you write for? Pedro Pascal characters, mostly Frankie Morales.

6) Are there any fandoms you wrote for in the past that you no longer write for? Yes, I've been writing fanfic since before I knew what it was, or before I knew what the internet was. My first fandom that I wrote for was The X-files. Only a friend of mine read those.

7) Do you write for ships, reader inserts or other? I don't think I've ever written an established ship, canon or fanon? It's mostly reader inserts and OFCs. I'm good at OFCs.

8) Niche fandoms/characters you write for? I clearly have a thing for ex military OFCs...

9) Do you read fics as well as write them? Not really, no.

10) What is your favorite genre to write for? I don't think about genres, I just write?

11) What is your favorite trope (to read/write)? I haven't really thought about tropes when writing. I only recently realized Frankie x Lady is friends to lovers? I don't know, I just write. I'm sure my writing is riddled with tropes, but I don't actively choose them?

12) What do you do to get motivated to write? If I want to write, I sit down and write, even if it's just 30 minutes and what I write is a bunch of bollocks. Writing is a lot of revision. If I don't feel like writing, I do something else.

13) Is there a trope/genre you like to read, but not write? I'd like to write something in the style of Isabel Allende, or Donna Haraway.

14) Any characters/fandoms you want to write for that are never requested? I rarely get requests so I haven't had this problem.

15) How long have you been writing fanfiction? Some 25 years, off and on.

16) Did you read fan fiction before you started writing? Nope, wrote it first. Did read a lot of fanfic earlier, though.

17) Do you only post on Tumblr, or any other sites as well? I cross post on Ao3, not everything, but almost.

18) What do you personally consider the word counts of “Drabble”, “One shots” and “fics”? Aren't there inofficial rules about this? Isn't a drabble supposed to be exactly 100 words? And I thought a "one shot" was a standalone fic that's not part of series? HAHAHA OMG I've been using the term wrong for my whole time here. That's embarrassing.

19) Which do you prefer to write more? Oh, that varies. I'm always game for more Frankie x Lady, though. It's like revisiting a familiar old threesome.

20) Are there any stories you have discontinued? If so, why? The Instructor was at a stand-still for a long time, and I didn't really feel like finishing it. I think it was because Marcus Moreno was an early PP character for me, and I fell for him, but then discovered more characters that, to be honest, were better written and also not from a cringey kids movie. But I always felt bad about not finishing it. Now I am (I hope)!

21) What is one of your main “pet-peeves” as a writer on Tumblr? Lack of reader interaction. That's one (of a few) reasons I quit my previous fandoms, so I'm no stranger to doing it again. Sure, I write because I want to, but if I wrote for myself only, I wouldn't be here posting and wanting to talk about my fics, would I?

22) Do you write at a particular time of day? Mainly morning hours. Something during work hours, because my job is hella inconsistent, so sometimes I have nothing to do for hours.

23) Do you listen to music, ambiance/noise, etc to write or do you need silence? Mostly silence. When writing Misty I listen to Kate Bush's 50 Words For Snow album.

24) Do you outline your fics at all before writing? Never! I sometimes feel I should. No, it all starts with one single scene, or maybe just a line.

25) Do you post your writing as soon as you finish it, or do you schedule it to come out at a specific time/day? I always want to post asap but I've learned that, sadly, the time of the day seems to play a very large part of how much attention fics get, so I try to schedule them for the American mornings.

Hiii omgg I don't know what to say but I've read your stories and saw your drabble game. My favorite one is forever young :) I actually had to reblog it so I could read it again including your masterlist. ^^ I choose jae of day 6 ^^. I don't really know how to express my emotions and because of that I am awkward and sometimes a bitch but I'm really soft person and when I receive complements from someone I either glare, curse or hit them ;-; and I have a passion for music.

A/N: I’m sorry this took so long! I’ve been working on a lot of my own writing and these drabbles just totally slipped my mind! Ooooh, this is the first time I’ve heard someone say they like Forever Young! Mark is super-hard to write about. Ahh, it feels nice to see my older fics appreciated, thanks!

Oh my god, the more Jae drabbles I put out, the higher the possibility that he might someday come across something cringey I’ve written and this freaks me out so much! :D But I’ll do this for you, haha.

Tsundere!Reader + Jae (DAY6)

You sat still on the couch as you heard the front door click open. It was time for Jae to get home from his band practice; he returned at 8 pm on the dot every evening. You gave him the stink eye as he took off his shoes and walked into the living room, looking tired. He raised an eyebrow at you.

“Is something wrong?” he asked you.

You bit your lip. “No.”

“Are you sure?”

Okay, there was a lot wrong. You’d been roommates with Jae for a few months now and things were getting out of hand. You’d only agreed to let him move in because he was a friend of Wonpil’s, and Wonpil was such a cuddly adorable sweetheart that you imagined his friends must be exactly the same. But Jae wasn’t. He was cool, definitely. Jae had a gorgeous singing voice that made your spine tingle and he was amazing at the guitar. He was also extremely funny and easy-going and you were constantly trying to control your laughter around the guy.

But he was a terrible roommate.

He never picked up after himself, always ate your food and failed to stock up the groceries and a million other things that irritated you to no end. You hated pointing things like that out to people, and you tried to leave subtle messages so he would get the hint to be more responsible. But either he never understood, or he chose to ignore them. Your anger was building more and more by the day. So when he stood there and calmly asked you if something was wrong, you wanted to scream at him and claw his throat out.

“No, nothing’s wrong,” you muttered.

Jae blinked at you for a long moment, before shrugging. He tossed his guitar onto the couch (not where it belonged) and sauntered into the kitchen. You gaped at him as he casually took a can of soda (one that you’d bought yesterday) and popped it open.

Okay, that was it.

“That’s mine!” you hissed suddenly.

Jae froze, the can halfway to his lips. He blinked down at it and then up at you, his eyes wide. “Ummm…” he trailed off awkwardly.

The fact that he didn’t even look apologetic made you even more angry. You’d been burying your irritation for a long time, though, and it was about time for it to all come pouring out. “You ate my sandwiches yesterday too! And the pasta that my Mom made last weekend-”

“I thought those were leftovers,” he began carefully.

“They were my leftovers! It’s not as if you ever bother to get your own groceries so if you’re going to keep eating mine then shouldn’t you at least help pay for them? Your rent doesn’t include food, you know! And while we’re on the topic, it doesn’t include laundry either! You never take your clothes out of the washing machine, I always have to dry them. You don’t even thank me for doing it!”

Jae blinked. “Uh, thanks…”

“And stop leaving your stuff all over the place! The living room is such a mess, you put your bags and your guitar and everything on the sofa and I never even have any space to sit!” you ranted, your cheeks flushing pink from the effort.

“Right, I won’t leave my stuff in the living room anymore-”

“And you could at least shut your bedroom door if you’re going to practice guitar in the middle of the night, some of us sleep at 2 am and I don’t care that your music sounds fucking amazing, I don’t need it waking me up from my sleep!”

Jae nodded. “Right, got it.”

“And…” you opened your mouth to continue, but your mind went blank. Was there anything else? You couldn’t remember and you suddenly felt extremely embarrassed. What was wrong with you, how could you explode at him like that? Your eyes widened in horror at your own behavior. Jae stayed looking at you for a few moments, before he finally spoke.

“Hey, I’m sorry. I know I’m not a great roommate and I don’t realize that these things are bothering you. I used to live with a bunch of messy guys before this and they never cared. I’ll start paying for groceries too, okay?” he said gently.

You gulped and nodded. “That.. that would be nice.”

Jae smiled at you lightly and set the can of soda down on the counter. “But it would be nice if you could point these things out to me immediately instead of exploding at me like this?” he chuckled.

You felt horrible. “I-I’ll do that. I’m sorry, I don’t know what got into me-”

He grinned and shrugged. “Or you could explode at me now and then. I don’t mind. You’re kind of cute when you’re angry.”

You glared at him. “Fuck you-”

Jae chuckled and picked up his soda, brushing past you with a teasing grin. He leaned in closer and whispered in your ear cheekily. “See? I’m into that sort of thing so I’d be careful if I were you.”

You flushed furiously.

i’ve been into photography since middle school! i would always carry a camera with me to school lol and post “artsy” [read”: cringey] photos on my instagram ahahah dark times :’) but photography is great, and even if you use your phone, that’s a great place to start ^^

o(〃＾▽＾〃)o i'm greedy so here we go: 2, 5, 10, 11 (i know for some people it needs to be completely quiet but for me i need music), 12, 17, 20, 21, aaaaaaand 49 (｡’▽’｡)♡

2. things that motivate you. a lot of my motivation actually comes with sharing my fics and ideas with people. sure the Validation™ is a part of it, but also just talking about the idea and getting excited about it enough with a friend to actually write it.... That’s usually what gets a fic going for me lmao.

5. since how long do you write? The very first thing I remember writing is this shitty Inuyasha fanfic back in probably like… 2007? First Naruto fanfic I put online was made in either 07 or 08 lmao. It was terrible. Awful. The thing I wrote in 2010 for Naruto got like super popular, but was still bad. Idk which of those to mark as when I first started writing, though. Each one is just… A different start, sorta.

10. how do you do your researches? Google and Wikipedia are my friends. If I don’t know something I’ll just ask google, and 99% of the time I go to a wikia of some sort.

11. do you listen to music when writing? Sometimes. I used to all the time but I’ve started not doing it and found I can focus a lot better lmao.

12. favorite place to write. My desk. Just alone at my desk is best place.

17. favorite AU to write. I love writing college AUs, but one of these days I’m gonna get a fantasy AU out there, just u wait

20. favorite character to write. It’s a tie between Oikawa and Iwaizumi, honestly. Oikawa’s fun because he’s… very Extra with how he acts. And I adore writing Iwaizumi especially for fluff. Writing him in any romantic sense is a trip because he feels so tsundere but also soft af.

21. least favorite character to write. I don’t have any one character in mind, tbh. I mostly just don’t like writing about characters I also don’t read about. An example would be Tsukishima, I guess. I loved him in season 3 and he’s growing on me, but I don’t really care for him outside of canon? Idk it’s hard to articulate lol

49. writing advice. I’m gonna preface by saying I am no means an expert in writing, but these are some things I’ve learned over the years.First off, if you’re writing and a scene just isn’t cooperating, either skip it for now and come back later, or just push through it. You can always come back and edit it later.Secondly, reread your old stuff. I know it can be cringey and terrible and make you wish you didn’t have eyes, but it’s good. Realize what it is you don’t like about what you’re reading, and learn from it, basically.Third, if you’re having a writing block, step away from it. Don’t force anything if nothing is coming lol. Whether it’s a day or even a week, take a break, but always come back to it.Fourth, thesaurus.com (or any thesaurus source) is your friend. Use it well.Fifth, do not be afraid of “said”. Don’t make your character “chuckle” or “muse” or whatever else if all they’re doing is simply talking. Of course, don’t use “said” every single time there’s dialogue, but it’s okay if it’s used more than the other words. It is what the character is doing, after all.also omg also thank you for even considering asking me for advice??? oh my god
