ok dream time. had a dream where i was legally required to apologize to an old professor i had in person because i apparently talked shit about her online and i felt super bad about it. my psychiatrist was the legal counsel and it all took place in my grandmothers house. the whole dream was me dreading the meeting but when the professor and her husband finally showed up i basically just said i was sorry and i didnt really know why i was mean. she was also british for some reason and either her or her husband had said that this is just how things are done in the UK, but they were both pretty understanding.
I wake up and fall back asleep.
Now I'm back in my childhood home, I'm turning 25. My parents and some extended family is there, telling me to get packed with whatever I can because I need to leave right away. I slip on a jacket someone gives me and put two small knives in my back pocket. The guests suddenly disperse and I'm alone, but only for a moment. I exit through the backdoor just as armed soldiers storm the house. I run, they give chase. I quickly zigzag past trashcans, slip between houses, barrel down streets until finally I arrive at my destination: Club Disney.
I enter a room filled with maybe eight or so people. On one end of the room sits a bench that stretches from wall to wall. Upon closer inspection it seems to be an extended piece of the back wall itself. Most of the people on the room are sitting on it. On the opposite side is a large projected screen depicting the Mickey Mouse logo, and on either side stand two somberly dressed guards. I sit on the bench between two patrons and glue my eyes to the screen. The logo begins to talk. I don't remember what it says at first.
Mickey Mouse shows us a series of clips of different video games. Some sort of puzzle platformer, a Kirby(?) fighting game, and something else. After the show has ended, Mickey reappears onscreen to awkwardly point out that I'd only been here a few days prior, and I look down to realize that, under my jacket, I've been wearing a Mickey Mouse clubhouse t-shirt thats exactly two sizes two small. I pull at its hem to try and make it fit, hoping that too much of my stomache isn't exposed. I get up and leave.
The next bit is sort of foggy, but I remember having a laptop open at or near the airport. I was trying to edit a picture of Colm Meaney by cropping a rabbit off of his red sweater, Colm was with me as I did this. Suddenly, I get a call from Chuck McGill, who is suddenly berating me, telling me this is no time to play games because I'm such a screw up. I knew instantly that he was the one who sent those hitmen to my house. I shout at him, calling him a sycophant and a freak, that there was something seriously wrong with him. Colm just gets embarassed. I slam the laptop shut and storm off.
Suddenly I'm in a sort of gallery, trying to keep my hand steady as I paint lines onto a sheet of paper. An older woman who reminds me a lot of Michelle Yeoh was up to me. She's tearful and wishes me a happy birthday. She seems really sorry about Chuck. I think she worked for him, because I'm suddenly struck with a vision of Chuck in his house being helped my staffers I've never seen before. The house is different too, it reminds me of someplace but I can't put my finger on what. The image fades away as this woman in front of me starts talking again. I can tell she really loves me in a motherly sort of way. She tells me she made the jacket I was wearing, and I realize its designed the same as hers. She hands me a birthday envelope and tells me I should get going. This is a tearful goodbye. We hug. I feel weird. I feel lonely, like this person is important to me somehow and I might never see her again. I feel like the past is always there was completely unobtainable, impossible to restore, always in the minds eye. I leave hurriedly. I do not want to be here anymore.
I'm now walking in a space outside. Its one of those dumping grounds for materials and trash you sometimes find behind big stores in America. Grass grows in patches up out of wherever concrete hasn't eaten the landscape. Gravel is strewn haphazardly down a short slope, as if spilled there years ago by a dumptruck, a half assed attempt at cheap parking space. I'm walking with a friend, telling them about the dream I just had. I'm saying something about how I must have been the main character from Better Call Saul in my dream, and that I didn't want to say too much in case previous events would spoil the rest of the show for them. I reach into my back pocket and find the two knives I put there earlier.
I wake up.

han’s Entire Thoughts and Feelings on CLC’s “Devil”
Tumblr media
THEYRE BACK SO IM ALSO BACK ON MY BULLS HIT STAYING UP UNTIL 2AM TO WATCH IT AS SOON AS ITS UP aka its TIME AGAIN to be a loud CHESHIRE™ ON TEXT POST
there are no read mores here so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ its my brand
ALRIGHT SO-
THE SONG IS A FUNKY JAZZY BOP™ AND A HALF its the kind of song you just literally BOUNCE in your seat and make you sway from side to side THAT CHORUS IS INSTANTLY CATCHY AND ADDICTING TO LISTEN TO i love the guitar and horns and that weird laser whistle sound????? so much throughout the song!!!!!!! theres a part that goes ‘i tried to be so polite’ that elkie and seungyeon sinGS UUUUUUUUUUGGGHH THATS SO SATISFYING TO MY EARS THERES SO MUCH SEUNGHEE I NEARLY CRIED SHE SINGS THE CHORUS TWO (2) TIMES HER TONE IS INCREDIBLE AND WHEN SORN SINGS IT AFTER AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA- (THE SECOND CHORUS WITH YUJIN IS FANTASTIC TOO) YEEUNS RAP OKAY LISTEN I LOVE HER RAP BREAKS IN THE MIDDLE OF THEIR SONGS AND THIS ONE DID NOT DISAPPOINT THAT INSTRUMENTAL BREAK PUNCHED ME AND THERES MORE YUJIN AND EUNBIN!!!!!!! THEY KILLED THEIR PARTS THEY WERE SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!! no im not gonna talk about seunghees breath from the first second we know how i feel
THAT BRIDGE with eunbin and elkie was pretty interesting it stays upbeat and it passes really quickly i dunno why but it felt a little off??? i dunno why??? it just does to me??? i feel like it ends too soon??? just a smidge tho- and it barely makes it to three (3) minutes???? (no is about the same length) but im still BOPPING
sidenote: apparently seunghee mentioned (i dunno where tho) that this song is similar to pepe and that sure is true lmao
THE DANCE remember when i just mentioned how it makes you wanna bounce and sway WELL THATS BC theres a move in the chorus that does just THAT!!!!!! the moment i saw it i copied the move like I GOTTA IN FACT the choreography for the entire chorus is SO fitting like its just lots of hip and shoulder movement BUT it just feels so RIGHT- during yeeuns rap part theres a little bit of a move they did thats similar in their song ME and lowkey i thought that was cool!!
THERES SOMETHING ABOUT that hip move that murders like the way they swivel around first and their hand movement with it and then leading into the side to side just SO SATISFYING TO WATCH especially during the last part in that darker setting!!!!!!!
seunghee starts the dance............................... thanks........ the dancing during eunbin and elkies parts during the bridge was lowkey kinda funny but i found myself following and copying it like sticking my hands out like they did in the video BUT overall it goes with the vibe of the song VERY well!!!!
THE VISUALS the overall video premise reminds me red velvets russian roulette like they are REALLY trying to KILL EACH OTHER IN THIS MV (or at least injure each other) with the soap slipping pushing sorn off that chair dropping that thing on yeeuns head that vacuum literally THROWING DARTS and LIGHTING FIRES and THE MOST DANGEROUS OF ALL....................... stepping on legos.........
SUPER COLORFUL............................ BUT FINISH IT WITH BLACK AND DARKNESS i thought that was interesting LIKE i knew it was coming from the teaser images but i DONT HATE IT the song is called ‘devil’ after all going all dark and lowkey menacing at the end is welcomed here!!!!!! i feel like its supposed to lowkey represent their concepts from debut to now yknow???
I LOVE ALL THE BRIGHT COLORS THO especially the yellows and pinks BUT THEN paired with colors like that blue and green and salmon color or whatever like THAT is just P L E A S I N G™ to my eyes there was ALWAYS a bit of all these colors in nearly ever scene and theres just so mucH BALANCE its pretty refreshing™ if you ask me
BUT THAT ENDING WITH ALL THAT LOWKEY CREEPY (but like not really) PROPS LIKE ALL THOSE BARBIE HEADS AND EYES LIKE THATS AESTHETIC™
SOME SCENES THAT I LIKED AND WANNA MENTION:
FIRST SCENE WITH THE ALL OF THEM AT THE TABLE SURROUNDED BY DESSERTS I WAS HOOKED I KNEW I WASNT GOING TO LOOK AWAY FOR A SECOND
FIRST DANCE SCENE WITH THE BLUE AND PEACH COLOR OR WHATEVER COLOR THAT IS 👌
THE BATHROOM WITH THE HOT PINK WHERE SEUNGYEON AND YUJIN WERE IN and then made her fall over with the soap and seungyeon acted like she was eating it in the middle of a bathroom
THE ROOM SEUNGHEE AND SORN WERE IN WITH THE YELLOW CHAIR (love putting her in yellow chairs i guess) nearly lighting her on fire seunghees face after makes me laugh lmao
THE DARK GREEN AND ORANGE.............................. Y E S
THAT ALL YELLOW ROOM ELKIE AND EUNBIN WERE IN and it contrasted with elkies bright pink dress and eunbins darker outfit my eyes feel so blessed™
THE DARK SCENE LIKE THEYRE IN A HAUNTED MANSION WITH THE FLASHING LIGHTS I LOVE-
I CANT EVEN DESCRIBE IT I JUST LOVE LOOKING AT THEM
(okay but that chair sorn was on only had one leg i just wanted to mention)
AKA I LOVE EVERY SCENE I LOVE THIS C H A O S™
T H E M
OKAY DENIM ON DENIM YOU DIDNT HAVE TO ATTACK ME LIKE THAT™ AND the construction boots????? really?????? in front of my carton of barbie heads?????? YOU ABOUT TO MAKE ME WORK FROM HOME????? why would you do this if you KNOW HOW I FEEL????? but................... thank you i owe yoU MY LIFE- maybe its just me but at the moment ive been really feeling more brighter things so this.................... is some good food and like i know theyre supposed to be menacing but those black outfits make them look like an all-female biker gang more than anything-
also LEGS™
you usually save the best for last HOWEVER SEUNGHEE a whole WOMAN™ SHE REALLY KILLED ME THIS TIME AROUND i mean is there a time she doesnt kill me lets be real FIRST OF ALL BLACK HAIR BUT ITS STILL THE SAME LENGTH THANK YOU that dark green dress just suits her SO well!!!!!!!!!! also i just love green SO CLASSY™ with the headband and black heels pls- THAT light blue denim on denim with black crop top with the little pony tail...................... at ease i LOVE that look on her so much i dont think yall understand!!!!!!! then the BLACK DRESS!!!!!!!!!! the shoulders out!!!!!!!!!!! the thigh high boots!!!!!!!!!! when she does that dance move with her hips her figure accentuated by her belt.................. at ease x2 (also that one second of a scene where shes smiling over her shoulder in the black outfit i just wanted to mention-)
yujin pls that pink plaid outfit with the pink heels with your purple beret youre sO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LISTEN that denim with the crop top jacket???? with the orange and pink twin braids I CANT SHE LOOKED SO GOOD WITH THAT OUTFIT ON AND THEN THE BLACK LEATHER (is it leather) and the little two BUNS ON THE TOP OF HER HEAD!!!!!!!! A LOOK™!!!!!!!!!! i just always always think shes just so cute but also so fierce????? it breaks my neck i dunno how to describe it i just really like her face????
SEUNGYEON BETTER LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE WITH THAT PINK AND GOLD TOP WITH THE BLACK SKIRT STUNTING WITH HER BEAUTIFUL TAN SKIN she looks so so SO GOOD with the short hair BUT LIKE i love that hairstyle in general so thats to the SURPRISE OF NO ONE shes wearing a darker blue denim but i cant understand the shirt??? is it a jacket wrapped around like a shirt??? so the black outfit with the leather shorts and then she threw the jacket at the camera like the Baddie™ she is................ thanks-
must you be so beautiful sorn??? the braids with the clips in the dark denim with the black crop top i cANT- THIS HAIR COLOR IS STUNNING ON HER I DUNNO HOW TO DESCRIBE THAT COLOR BUT IT LOOKS SO GOOD SHE IS SO FINE™ DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THAT YELLOW FIT WITH THE PLAID YELLOW BERET HOW COULD SHE LOOK SO GOOD WITH SO MUCH YELLOW ON????? that black outfit with the single bun on the top of her head and her hair is like super straight and the boots to her knees im SO-
yeeun you always kept your bob pls keep iT FOREVER- the one piece dark blue denim with that big green clip in your hair YOU MAY BE FIERCE BUT JUST LIKE YUJIN YOURE CUTE™ that red dress with the black heels and then they gave???? you extensions???? for your high pony tail with the black bow??? its cute but i mean i feel like that wasnt needed??? it wouldve looked great with just her short hair i dunno fashion FINALLY the last black outfit with the black hat and one glove and black boots that outfit HITS like pls punch me
DOES ELKIE JUST............... HAVE TO look like a princess?????? like she just always looks like a princess i cant explain it!!!!!!!!! SHE JUST FEELS SO PRINCESS-LIKE honestly i feel like its bc whenever they kinda make her hair wavy or something like that it just makes her more classy looking??? the denim two piece and her skirt is actually half light and half dark blue honestly thats a Look™ its cute!!! that hot pink dress with the one sleeve im HERE FOR IT!!!!!! PLS SHE LOOKS SO CLASSY!!!!! the black outfit is just a black dress BUT the black combat boots and her silver accessories like literally kill me with that hammer youre so stunning™-
so we agree that eunbin took that pink wig from jisoo right?? from ddu-du ddu-du?? jk but IM SO GLAD TO SEE HER MORE IN THIS MUSIC VIDEO!!!!!!!!!! WITH MORE LINES!!!!!!!!!! ANYWAY the light blue was fitted rather loosely but it still looked SO BOMB ON HER and her hair was so straight and that really made that whole Look™ that black dress with her kinda messy hair with combat boots while she was vacuuming elkies hair is an ABSOLUTE LEWK™ I LIKE IT A LOT!!!!! but seriously something about that pink bob is like............... im not sure if i like it??? i think i do??? the grey hat and fringe really pulls that whole look together honestly
tldr: *chefs kiss*
LIKE this was their style and sound of music i believe in the beginning and its nice to hear it again in a new way!!!! its fun and the instrumental even after listening to it so many times im still dancing along with it!!!!!!! i slept late as hell (bc yknow i had to watch this mv) and had to wake up hella early but I AM PUMPED FOR THE REST OF MY DAY!!!!! i mean like no which also barely hits three (3) minutes but im sure just like with no im not gonna mind that duration
IN CONCLUSION: MY MOOD WAS LIFTED TENFOLD LISTENING TO THIS I FEEL SO ALIVE NOW

oh hey, decade list anon, i didnt really forget about you, i just slept through most of tuesday and now thought about it. let’s do some listing.
Music: A tough category bc finding what applies is tricky.
Shape Shift with Me - Against Me! (2016)
The album is just wholly good, of just wanting to belt along with everything. “Dead Rats” is my pick for fave, tho tbh it’s whichever im listening to atm. Ive changed this like 5 times ngl
Hozier - Hozier (2014)
hozier hozier hozier. everyone knows this blues-y guy. fave track: “It Will Come Back” (i took take me to church out of the running on purpose)
Brought to Rot - Laura Jane Grace & The Devouring Mothers (2018)
i got ljg across my one per band rule, shh. “Apocalypse Now (& Later)”
Come of Age - The Vaccines (2011)
Wetsuit is the fave
Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys - My Chemical Romance (2010)
Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)
CLPPNG - clipping. (2014)
Body & Blood. ty jacob for getting me into them, i wouldntve found them by the daveed diggs from hamilton connection
Death of a Bachelor - Panic! at the Disco (2016)
Don't Threaten Me with a Good Time. a P!atD almost had to make it
Racine Carrée (2013) - Stromae
tous les mêmes. ty frankie!
The Human Condition - Jon Bellion (2016)
Morning in America
Racine Carrée - Stromae (2013)
tous les mêmes
1) my keyboard started acting up again in the middle of this >:c but just for a bit, and 2) there’s really not a lot to say about music. Music good! Honorable mentions to Mother Mother’s O My Heart, which came out earlier but i discovered recently and loved, Pierce the Veil’s Collide with the Sky where listening to stuff like A Match Into Water has been less relevant (good thing!) and Moses Sumney’s Aromanticism which isn’t top fave music, but which i obvsly love and support
Video Games:
Stardew Valley (2016)
Such a charming farming game, and a great one to play if you just need to have a nice time watering crops, giving gifts, or fish. Also a good one to play while listening to podcasts, though the music and sound effects are nice. When i first got it I got sucked in and played all night, oops! I’ve got 422 hrs in this. Lots of mods out there, including a good gender neutrality one, and also just got a big update, and part of it was giving a platonic roommate option so im a v happy queer
FTL: Faster Than Light (2012)
A spaceship roguelite, with real time with pause, where you must fight through sectors of space because you have the necessary knowledge to take down the rebel flagship. I’ve heard it described as like “surprisingly, a star trek simulator”, as you acquire alien crew and react to emergencies. A lot of fun, difficult at first, and i really want to get their second game, Into the Breach.
Pokémon Sun (2016)
Aside: Pokemon HeartGold was released in 2009? so my first game was almost in. Pokemon Sun is a lot of fun, and makes tons of quality life choices in particular. Like no HMs! and there was much rejoicing. First game I filled my pokedex in (helps that it was just the regional it tracked tho. And i filled my dex in heartgold but with an actionreplay helping out to make anything available). SOS battles are a great way to shiny hunt tho i wish there was a way to stop them (ik there’s status but it can wear off or not stick). I have like 400 hrs in? sometimes i leave it on, but im sure it’s all the breeding or slow battle tree while doing other stuff.
Undertale (2015)
This was under consideration for music too. The characters are really great and why it’s so high. I’ve never and could not mentally, emotionally, physically do an evil run. how dare you even suggest
Fallout: New Vegas (2010)
surprised this fits in. A long time fave, love exploring the irradiated Mojave, listening to oldies and HOLD UP turns out i Do know who tf wayne newton is (after justin was like this is where Duck’s name is from) bc he’s in this game? not as Mr Las Vegas, but Mr New Vegas, the DJ of the radio station. ok weird wiki times lol.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D (2011)
remakes count, right? LoZ is really good and this is a good one! Nm to say?
Transistor (2014)
This game is really gorgeous, and the music is great. It’s a cool cyber future with a mute singer and a talking sword, fighting robots, and playing with a robot dog, what’s not to like?
Terraria (2011)
A sandbox world that you can rearrange and craft stuff in, same genre as Minecraft, but with NPCs, much more boxes, probably more crafting and gear, and one less dimension. I’ve put 208hrs into this
Kerbal Space Program (2011, 2013, 2015)
So it got a beta release, then onto Steam Early Access, then out of beta in those years respectively. It’s a physics simulator of starting a space program and often failing in fun ways! Getting to space is hard! Landing somewhere from space is also very hard. Turns out it *is* rocket science. 176 hours and my best accomplishments are satellites all over the place and landing on kerbal’s /second/ moon. I landed a probe onto the mars equivalent too. V moddable game
Universal Paperclips (2017)
Browser game that looks like a very basically designed clicker game, where you play a productivity-maximized AI in a paperclip making machine, so you make all the paperclips you can. All Of Them. It’s a fun one

Agilenano - News: 20 Of My MOST Favorite Things {January 2020}
Can I tell you a secret?
Ive been planning and looking forward to todays post for MONTHS!
After almost 7 years of sharing my favorite things on the blog each month, I went back through ALL my previous Favorite Things posts and hand-selected 20 of my MOST favorite things to share with you for the start of 2020!
These are the cream of the crop. The products I use daily (even 7 years and 3 more children later). They are products I recommend regularly on the blog and in real life. They are my most favorite and worth every penny (in my opinion!)
Im also using a new format this month one that I hope will make the post more readable and more easily shoppable. Simply click the button link under each description to be taken directly to the sales page on Amazon (or whatever website the product is available through).
And if youre interested in reading my original review of each product, Ive included that too. Just click the dated link directly under each picture.
Ex: Originally shared in September of 2016.
DISCLOSURE:None of these products are sponsored; however, some of the links below are affiliate links which means that at no cost to you, I may get a smallcommission. Please know thatI use these products dailyin my own home and life. Readmy full disclosure policyfor more information.
Also, check out myAmazon Marketfor all my favorite things.
I wont make you wait any longer
Here are 20 of my MOST favorite things!
(In no particular order.)
1
USA Pan Bakeware
Originally shared in April of 2019.
The USA Pans are so fantastic, I recommend them for any kitchen and any cooking style. They are 100% completely non-stick, super heavy-duty, and cook very evenly. Plus, they are made in the USA!
I have the 8" loaf pans, the mini loaf pans, the XL sheet pans, and cookie sheets -- and I'm always looking to grow my collection as I use them all on a weekly (sometimes daily) basis.
I honestly cant say enough good things about this brand!
NOTE: Here's how I prep, store, and reheat all my roasted veggies.

Wet Brush Hair Brush
Originally shared in April of 2015.
Many years ago, after mentioning Nora's extreme sensitivity to having her hair brushed, many of you recommended the Wet Brush... I am forever grateful!
Literally, the very first time I used the brush on Noras hair, she was a completely different person. She didnt whine, complain, and cry ouch the ENTIRE time I brushed. Instead, she just sat there and even made the comment this brush doesnt hurt my head!
We now have 3 Wet Brushes (one in each bathroom) and 2 Mini Wet Brushes for traveling.
They are, hands-down, the best hair brush I've tried -- perfect for children and adults, straight or curly hair, thin or thick hair, wet or dry hair.
NOTE: Here's a link to my homemade hair detangling spray, and here's a post about my favorite hair styles for little girls.

Velvet "Huggable Hangers"
Originally shared in October of 2013.
Our family uses velvet hangers exclusively for all our closets (we use heavy-duty plastic hangers in the mudroom).
I have adult size hangers for our closet, kid size hangers for the older 3, and I even found baby size hangers for the nursery.
They are so slim and they really "hold on to" the clothing so well.
We have had a handful break over the years -- but that's a byproduct of 4 children who like to pick their own clothing out!
I've always recommended velvet hangers for all my organizing clients, and I will continue to use them in my own home.
NOTE: Here's a link to all my posts about clothes clutter!

The 5 Love Languages Book
Originally shared in February of 2018.
I first read The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman when I was in college, after Dave and I got engaged. He read it too, and we quickly realized we have very opposite love languages!
Since then, I've reread this book many times.
I think both Dave and my love languages have morphed and changed a bit (Im totally acts of service now, and I used to be more gifts) but I cant tell you how valuable it has been for us to not only learn the other persons love language, but also realize that we both have very different love languages.
I think it saved us lots of frustration in the early years of our marriage and even still today.
I highly recommend this book to all dating, engaged, and married couples, as well as any of the other books in the growing "5 Love Languages" collection.
NOTE: Here's how I make more time for reading (even with a very busy home and family!) And here's one of my simplests "secrets" for a happy marriage.

Gecko-Loc Shower Hooks
Originally shared in July of 2017.
Several years ago, I replaced all our suction shower hooks with Gecko-Lock Super Suction Stainless Steel Double Hook, and we LOVE them!
They are so easy to install and VERY strong. Plus, the stainless steel looks so much nicer with our Chrome shower fixtures than the plastic hooks I previously used.
We've never had any issues with them losing suction or falling down and if/when I want to move them, I just unscrew the knob and the hook immediately comes off the shower wall with no pulling or tugging on my part.
NOTE: Get the recipe for my homemade shower cleaner (it's one of the most popular posts on my site!)

got 2b Hair Products
Originally shared in October of 2016.
Dave and I both use the got 2b hair products every day (for years and years)... and we have no intentions of switching to anything different.
He uses the got 2b Styling Glue.
I use the got 2b Spiking Wax and the Glued Blasting Freeze Spray.
They hold amazingly well all day long, they wash out easily each night, and they are extremely frugal compared to salon products!
NOTE: here's a video tutorial of how I style my short hair!

Topseat Child's Toilet Seat
Originally shared in January of 2018.
I'm certainly not an expert when it comes to potty training. However, I have found some really great tools to help simplify the process a bit!
The Topseat toilet seat has been a life-saver for our busy bathrooms these past several years. It's such a simple, convenient way to always have a child's toilet seat available when needed -- and out of the way when not needed.
It's much cleaner than removable potty seats, and it looks a lot nicer in our bathrooms too!
NOTE: Here's a before/after look at the kids' bathroom upstairs.

3 Citrus Face & Eye Cream
Originally shared in March of 2013.
This was in the very first Favorite Things post I shared way back when... and I still use this exact same product every single night after I get out of the shower.
I've been using the 3 Citrus Face & Eye Cream from Prairieland Herbs since 2010, and I just LOVE it!
We also use their Ultimate Healing Wand for all minor cuts, burns, bites, rashes, etc. It's the best and works SO well.
Their all-natural products are all hand made in small batches by a mother-daughter team, and I just love supporting their work through my purchases.
NOTE: They have offered an exclusive discount to my readers!! Get 20% off your entire order from their Etsy Shop with the code PAMPER (now through 2/29/20)

Vera Bradley Crossbody Wristlet
Originally shared in September of 2018.
I've used a Vera Bradley Wristlet as my main "purse" for probably close to 10 years now, and although I'm not one to be brand loyal, I REALLY love these wristlets (and I researched several other brands).
They can be pricey, but considering I'm only on my 2nd one in 10 years, they are worth it for me.
I love that my phone fits inside (along with everything else I need to carry around) and that there's a clip for my keys. Plus, I can wear it as a wristlet OR a cross-body bag depending on which strap I use.
It looks like my polka-dot fabric isn't available on Amazon right now, but there are TONS of other really fun (or simple) fabrics to choose from.
NOTE: Here's how I use this wristlet in conjunction with our diaper bag.

Presto Electric Griddle
Originally shared in July of 2018.
I use our electric griddle almost daily... and this one is HUGE! I can easily make 12 pancakes or 9 grilled cheese sandwiches at one time!
I love that this specific griddle is a square (not a longer rectangle) so it fits in my kitchen cabinets better.
I've taken this griddle on many family vacations, and even thought about trying to smuggle it in my suitcase when we fly! It's probably my most-used small appliance.
NOTE: These are our favorite whole grain oat pancakes... and these sourdough pancakes are the perfect use for leftover sourdough starter.

Big and Easy Colouring Books
Originally shared in November of 2018.
After years of coloring with little children, these Big and Easy Coloring books are still my most favorite (and my kids' favorite).
Even the older kids love coloring the extra-big, simple pictures!
We've given SO many of these as gifts, and oftentimes, the parents text or email me to ask where we found such a nice coloring book!
NOTE: Here are 10 of my favorite NON-MESSY crafts for toddlers and young children.

Nutrimill Artiste Mixer
Originally shared in December of 2019.
The Nutrimill is the one and only mixer I use for everything from homemade whipped cream and butter to whole grain bread dough -- and anything in between.
Its so powerful and has a huge mixing capacity, but its much more compact and lighter-weight than KitchenAid Mixers so its easier to store and lift and carry around my kitchen.
NOTE: Here's my recipe for 100% whole grain bread dough, and my recipe for monster cookies (a HUGE batch that I've never been able to mix in anything other than my Nutrimill!)

Britax B-Agile Single Stroller
Originally shared in May of 2018.
After almost a decade of pushing babies and toddlers around in various strollers, bike trailers, etc. my most favorite single stroller is the Britax B-Agile.
This is the stroller I use most often for the last 2-3 years as it's very light-weight and SO easy to push around.
The wheels glide everywhere and turn on a dime. Its technically considered a jogging stroller, but you know I dont jog! I just really do like having 1 wheel in the front as its easier to push.
We are nearing the end of our need for strollers -- but I have a feeling I'll keep this one around for a few years in case we have baby visitors who need to be pushed around.
NOTE: Read about all our favorite strollers and bike trailers, learn how to clean strollers and bike trailers, and see how we organize all our kids' gear in the garage.

Preen Weed Preventer
Originally shared in July of 2016.
If I could onlypick one product to use in my garden all year long, Preen would be it.
Year after year, Preen continues to save me hours upon hours of pulling weeds because it STOPS the weed seeds from germinating, which means there arent many weeds to pull!
I apply Preen to all my planting beds 4 times every season:
1. Mid-March, right after the weather starts to warm up.
2. Early May, after we spread mulch
3. Mid to late July
4. Late October, to hopefully prevent weed growth in early spring.
In May and July, I use the Preen + Fertilizer, and then I use the regular Preen in October. The added Fertilizer is great for perennials, annuals, shrubs and trees, and even in vegetable gardens.
The only caution is that you do NOT want to spread Preen in your veggie garden until all the seeds have germinated as Preen PREVENTS seeds from germinating.
NOTE: Here are a few more of my favorite weed-fighting tools (pictured above). And here's a post about our sort-of crazy way to prevent weeds in our vegetable garden (since we don't always use Preen around our veggies).

MAM Baby Products
Originally shared in June of 2016.
I first got hooked onall the amazing MAM productsway back when I FINALLY got my almost-2 year old, Nora, to drink water from a MAM sippy cup. She previously refused all sippy cups, bottles, water bottles, etc. so it was a BIG deal!
Since then, we've used the MAM brand of bottles, pacifiers, teathers, and sippy cups exclusively for our babies and toddlers.
I also still use the MAM bottle cleaning brush to clean all our water bottles and other long, skinny kitchen items. That thing is the best!
We give MAM goodies to all our friends and family members who have new babies!
NOTE: Here are several more of our favorite "Kids' Kitchen Gear" items -- as well as how I store and organize them all in our kitchen and pantry.

OLUKAI Footwear
Originally shared in July of 2018.
As many of you know, I buy the vast majority of all our family's clothing from local thrift stores for pennies on the dollar.
And I rarely ever spend anywhere close to "full price" on anything.
However, one thing I'm willing to pay a bit more for is good quality footwear (especially since I've had lower back problems for the majority of my adult life).
The OLUKAI line of women's footwear is one of my favorites -- I live in their flip flops in the summer and their slippers in the winter (slippers pictured above).
Their shoes are SO supportive, so comfortable, and actually pretty stylish too! I've had mine for years and they still look brand new!

BABYBJRN Bouncer
Originally shared in June of 2013.
This bouncy seat is one of my most-used baby items EVER! I used it daily for all 4 babies -- and honestly, Clara still uses it now (at 27 months).
It is THE BEST bouncy seat around... the only downside is the price tag.
Thankfully, I was able to find my Baby Bjorn used on Craigslist before Nora was born... and it has served us well for over 8 years now. This bouncer is one of the very few baby things I plan to keep for whenever babies visit our house (and if I'm willing to hang onto something we don't necessarily NEED, you know I really really love it!)
I love that the fabric easily comes off to wash, and that it folds completely flat for storage. I love that it doesn't require batteries or installation or assembly. And of course, the fact that even small infants can easily bounce themselves in this chair is just the icing on the cake!
Start looking for a used one, or splurge on this amazing bouncer for yourself (or a new parent in your life). You will not regret it!
NOTE: Here's a list of things I'm SO glad I had for my babies... and another list of things I wish I had found/purchased sooner.

Glad Press'n Seal Wrap
Originally shared in July of 2013.
If youve ever been frustrated with plastic wrap that doesnt stick or sticks too much you definitely need to make the switch to thePress'n Seal wrap.
I use this every day in many different ways obviously to cover food dishes and plates, but also to line my paint trays, wrap paint brushes, and many other random things all over our house.
This wrap sticks amazingly well with just a little bit of firm pressure and (at least in my experience) it can be used over and over again without getting ruined or getting jumbled up into a sticky balled mess (can you tell I absolutely hate traditional plastic wrap?)
NOTE: here are 10 clever uses for Press'n Seal Wrap.

I've been using a Personal Planner for 7-8 years now (Dave uses them too) and it's still my favorite.
I love that there are so many customizable features and the fact that it always seems to function perfectly for my schedule, my family, and my life.
Since I remember best when I write things down, my planner is an invaluable tool to help me simplify and better organize my life!
There might come a day when I switch to a digital system, but for now, you will always find a Personal Planner sitting on my desk!

Wsthof Knives
Originally shared in July of 2019.
I am not a professional chef, nor do I aspire to be one but having GOOD knives to use in my kitchen has made a huge difference for me over the years.
Ive slowly switched almost all my knives (and kitchen scissors) over to the Wsthof brand, and I can honestly say Ive never once been disappointed. They are super sharp, they feel amazing in my hand, and they cut, slice, and chop better than any other knife Ive used.
Heres a short list of the 3 knives I would recommend starting your collection with (all pictured above):
1. Micro-Serrated 4.5-inch Utility Knife
2. 6-inch Serrated Utility Chopper Knife
3. 10-inch Classic Bread Knife
I use these 3 knives EVERY single day usually washing them in between meals as I use them SO regularly!

One runner-up item was my braided rugs but I cant find them on the website anymore, so I didnt include them in my list.
Whew you made it!
I hope you find at least one item on my list youd like to try.
Also, SO many of you tell me these posts are some of your favorite posts is that still true?Im trying to decide if these posts are something I should continue writing each month or not your opinion is very helpful!
As always, check out my previous months favorite things and let me know if youve tried any over the years!
