Hi!! Thanks so much for the ask, sorry it took me a while to answer.

2. favourite fic of the year

It's really hard to choose, I read most of SebaCiel fics as they get published, and there's so many I adore. The writing people do in this fandom is next-level, really. But I suppose my favourite this year would be Child of The Night, because it's been living in my head rent free since it was first published (so this whole year too). xD But I have to admit it was really close between that one and Calcifer's Electing Strange Perfections. I'm not much of a HP fan, but I really love this crossover, it's so detailed and immersive. Sebastian missing and simping for his dear master is some of my favourite food. 😩 ApocalypticRomantic posted a lot of great fics this year too! I hope Sweet Flesh gets an update next year, it's so good. 🥵 Also, all of the oneshots martialartist816 posted this year were one of my favourites of all time, agh! ❤️

3. favourite fanart of the year

It's hard to choose between Rau, Seto, and Yukiko, but I think Errslance won a lot of people over with this one. It's masterful. There's been so much great fanart posted this year! ❤️

18. fandom you plan to join next year

I wouldn't say I'm planning it, but I really got into Hunter x Hunter lately, and I'm itching to write a one-shot with Hisoka and Illumi as the pairing. These characters are so unique that I don't think I could really replicate their behaviour, strange chemistry and quirks outside of the HxH context. I grew to really like them, and it's honestly one of the main reasons why I keep watching this anime. xD But I think I'd rather prioritise finishing my kuro projects for now, I don't really aim to be active in other fandoms.

I'd like to post more Kuro fanart! also clean up and finish my merman AU fic, yeah, that too...

Marlianken had sighed in disgust while scanning the documents. “I just don’t get it. What is it with people enjoying torturing innocents?”

Her comment had earned her puzzled looks. “What do you mean?”

“It’s just always the same old thing. They cry, they scream, they’ll ask their gods the typical ‘why me?’ question in several desperate ways … How can you enjoy something over and over again that’s never really changing. I mean … don’t get me wrong, it’s fun and all for a few times, but doesn’t it get boring after a dozen or so?”

The devil had been scratching his nose. “Now that you mention it, it sure is getting that taste of ‘same old’ after some time.”

“Right? Have you ever tried doing the same with guilty people?”

“Never really thought about it. Most of the time they either get killed immediately or we use them as life stock for Kyouhukou’s children.”

“Shame. You should try to torture them for once.” The elder succubus had flashed the devil a mischievous grin. “Nothing beats them first trying to reason with you. Some even think they can threaten a demon. But once they realize that the very thing happening to them is by some means what they were asking the fates to hand them when they behaved the way they did … “ She had tried and failed to suppress a full body shudder of excitement. “… now then they start really begging for their lives. They plead; they whine … they would sell you their entire family if it meant they could get out of there alive and in one piece.”

Chuckling, the seventh floor guardian had rearranged his glasses. “I see the appeal there. The potential is seemingly endless.”
