In Moscow on November 12 was held "Fandom Fest" where there was a Q&A event with the actors and creators of the film "Major Grom: The Game". Here are some interesting facts about the upcoming movie:
- Dmitry Chebatarev (Oleg Volkov) will not be in the movie. He was present on stage with the rest of the cast as a festival presenter.
- The song in the trailer was written specifically for the movie. The lyrics of the song encrypt the name of the main villain of the movie.
- Perhaps the movie will show Yulia and Igor's trip to Disneyland (a reference to the movie Major Grom: A Difficult Childhood).
- Tikhon Zhiznevsky (Igor Grom) said that his character will cry a lot and he hopes that fans will cry with him.
- Tikhon Zhiznevsky secretly from everyone, played a lot of Russian memes in the movie, which were not originally in the script
And just a really cute moment - Tikhon Zhiznevsky and Dmitry Chebatarev stood hand-in-hand with each other for almost the entire Q&A

The timing of the movie is about 2 hours and 40 minutes. The movie will be released on May 23, but before that date the makers have promised to hold a special screening of the movie for fans only

Translation of part of the article about the filming of "Major Grom: The Game" (The whole article is in Russian at the link) Possible spoilers!
Artem Gabrelyanov (Screenwriter and Producer)
The "Major Grom" film universe is expanding: in addition to unusual locations, viewers will see new characters. Who came to St. Petersburg from Moscow Maria Arkhipova - a strict, purposeful and ambitious woman. Her image is partly based on the comic book heroine Anna Arkhipova, a police major who competed with Grom. Some of Anna's traits we passed on to Maria.
August van der Holt almost came off the pages of the comic book. In the film, he is just as stylishly handsome - Matvey Lykov did a great job with his image. August develops his father's business as an inventor and deals with modern technology. If you call his profession, he is an arms dealer. August comes to St. Petersburg to make his first deal and sell apparatuses that can replace police officers. Otto Schreiber is a security guard and August's right-hand man, also a comic book hero, one of the main antagonists in Red Fury. Otto is a dangerous and formidable opponent.

Olga Sutulova (Playing Maria Arkhipova)
When I read the script, I was struck by the scale of the story. I wondered how it would be implemented, because it is quite difficult technically. Now I can't stop marveling at the scale of the camerawork and the scenery. I'm very happy to be part of the "Major Grom" universe.
What I like about my character is that she is true to her principles and goes all the way to the end, even though that's not always a positive quality in a person. She is the embodiment of determination, which is why she has a complicated relationship with Fyodor Prokopenko. Between them a generational and ideological conflict.

Matvey Lykov (Playing August van der Holt)
I read the Bubble comics to get to know and understand the character better. It was interesting to figure out why August is like that, what drives him. He's Dutch with Japanese roots, he has a different mentality. Holt speaks Russian with an accent, and I worked particularly hard on that. I spoke to a native Dutch speaker who speaks Russian. I, as an actor with a linguistic background, understood how to work with a new language, but I had to work hard on the phonetics.

Tikhon Zhiznevsky (Playing Igor Grom)
At the shooting range, we play a scene with invisible objects. It's an acting challenge, but it's quite familiar to me: you often have to interact with an object or a character you can't see in front of you when you're shooting. Today we're not shooting any difficult stunts, we'll keep working with them. But I still try to keep in shape, even though it's difficult because of the crazy schedule. I do push-ups after shifts and exercises right in the acting car. Well, I also watch my diet: I eat beef every day as a source of protein, but I only had a couple of bites of shawarma on the set so far.
