Fall is approaching quickly and I’m still trying to figure out what my living situation might look like. Looking more and more likely that I’m going to have to get rid of a significant number of my plants 😭😭😭😭💔

#the housing market is SUCH GARBAGE right now #we had talked about buying my parents’ house but it would just be a stupid financial move #too expensive #we could do it with our salaries but it would compromise our ability to travel #Bridger is pretty unwilling to rent #which is fair #but it’s unclear what’s going to happen to house prices #if I continue to stay with my parents for a few more months after the bar they’re going to ask me to start paying rent #and once they’re at the new house with their cats my plants will no longer be safe #as a last-ditch effort we’re ponding maybe trying to find temporary space for me at Bridger’s house #but his house is so small that it would be really hard for there to be multiple pets and multiple people #like a 600sqft house for 2 people 2 cats and an anxious dog #and would require a lot of modification to make that happen #and would also require me to give up a LOT of plants #I love Hermey but he is an absolute asshole when it comes to plants and I wouldn’t be able to have ANY on any kind of surface or shelf #I would only be able to have hanging plants and the space would be very confined aka only one or two #and the property isn’t big enough for a greenhouse bc it’s a split 1/4 acre lot #aka……. it might be that our only choice to be able to live together involves me giving up my plants until house prices improve
