It had been a rough past few days at work for Diana to say the least. Work had been out of control and she had worked so much overtime that she had mostly just been working, eating and sleeping. Not only that but she had forgotten to pay her electrical bill so her flat that been freezing for the past few days. Luckily for her it had been sorted, and she decided to get ready to hit the club down town. She had seen the posters for their karaoke night and it had been ages since she’d done such a thing. Hitting the stage at the club, she was swaying her body as she was singing Price Tag by Jessie J, minding her own business, up until the song had ended. Making her way over to the bar when someone appeared in her field of view, bringing her to a halt.

Alexandria was making her way home from work when the strap of her old work bag finally decided to go, spilling the contents all over the sidewalk. She began shuffling to try to pick things up when she noticed a set of legs coming towards her. “Please be careful where you step.” She called out, looking up to meet her eyes with the person in question. “Some of this stuff is expensive and it’s just not my day.”

Walking home from work with earbuds in, Rosie held her bag tight to her as she gave a small dance while walking. “There was a game we used to play We would hit the town on Friday night, stay in bed until Sunday. Oliver let his eyes glance over the people inside the busy cafe. He had had a long day of lectures and even though he was mostly tempted to hit the bar, he decided against it. At least for now. He had even postponed his streaming for the next few days and his numbers had already started to drop. Everything in his life at the moment was a bit of a mess. He lifted the cup back up to his lips, taking a sip of the hot liquid when he spotted someone in the corner of his eyes, “Sorry, did you say something?” He asked them out of curiosity as he was completely spaced out.

Ethan was out in the park, waking one of the dogs from the rescue center that he had started working at since dropping out of college. Even though things in his life was seemingly starting to fall back into place, he knew he still had a long way to go before he could consider himself better. He continued to walk down the gravel path before he reached an area where there were a lot more people than he had expected, but instead of panicking he let his eyes wander the area. He spotted someone seated on a bench alone, and he decided to walk over, just until it had cleared up a bit. “Um hi.. Excuse me.” He said, “Would you mind if I join you?”

“I know it’s probably illegal, but if I get cat called one more time, I will make sure they regret it,” the redhead sighed as she looked over at the person beside her as they waited for coffee. “I probably sound crazy, but it’s just getting really frustrating. The door of the busy bar opened and a dark-haired girl was pushed onto the street by a pair of bouncers. “Hey, fuck you!” Sarah shouted, trying to make her way back over to continue fighting them. By the time she stumbled over, however, the doors were closed and Sarah was left alone in the street to kick the wall and scream. She saw someone in her peripheral vision and turned her head, throwing them a look. “Hey, what the fuck do you think you’re looking at?” She spat out. She was drunk, angry, and was riled up enough to fight whoever she needed to.

Even though it was slightly cold out, Ellie couldn’t help but go to the park and sketch. Her eyes stayed on the paper as she started to draw one of the statues that stood in front of her. Carter was locking up shop for the evening when he heard someone enter the shop. He let out a slight sigh as he stepped out of the office and motioned in the direction of the door, cursing himself internally for not having bothered to lock it up before he began going over the books. “Can I help you with something?” He asked as he came to a halt, looking at the person with a slightly tired smile.

Trevor had just finished another long shift and it had gotten to the point where he could not remember the last time he ate. He had made his way to the diner close to the station. He was a sucker for a good, cooked breakfast and he had come to find that this place served one of the better once. He took a seat in one of the boots as his eyes began to scan the menu. When he spotted someone in the corner of his eye, he immediately began placing his order, “I’ll have a full breakfast, extra hash browns and a black coffee, please.” He said before looking up at the person close to him.

Olive knew she looked ridiculous, coming into the building soaked to the bone from the rain, her makeup likely smeared down her face, but she couldn’t bring herself to care. She’d been walking for what was probably hours at this point and the last thing she wanted was to go home and sit with her thoughts. So instead she walked up to the nearest person, keeping her head down as she pulled her phone out of her pocket, hoping the rain hadn’t drowned it. “Do you have a charger on you?” She asked, holding the phone up.

Elisabeth was out getting some groceries for the coming week and was struggling to reach for the canned tomatoes on the top shelf. “Ugh..” She said, standing up on her toes while stretching her tiny frame as far as she could. Letting out a slight sigh, she let her eyes wander over to the side, spotting someone standing close to her. “Sorry.. Could you please help me get down a couple of those cans?” She asked with a smile shaped on her lips.

Enzo had recently received the news about his best friend. It had been him whom they had found in the haunted house that night on Halloween. He had had a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach, but he had decided to ignore it. When he’d received the phone call from Xavi’s parents, he had been in denial at first, which later had turned into anger. He was now seated outside of a random bar, not sure which at this point, just any that would serve him some form of alcohol. He was sipping off his whiskey neat, unfolding his packet of cigarettes, when he noticed someone in the corner of his eye. “What do you want?” He muttered out loud, placing the filter of a fresh cigarette between his lips before lighting it.

Zelda walked through the crowd, pushing herself through the sea of bodies, she was looking for an exit. Somewhere without people, quiet. She found a door that lead outside, pulling it open and stepping out into an alleyway with a sigh. She didn’t know why she came to this club, alone much less.  

She hated being alone in situations like this, but she’d convinced herself this time would be different. That she could go out without the safety blanket of a friend to latch on to, but she began to feel overwhelmed in the middle of the chaos which explains why she was now standing out in the dark by herself. She was desperate for some feel of normalcy and celebrating her birthday, without the lingering realization that a body had just been found ruining it.

It was a selfish want, but her birthday was her favorite- especially with it sharing the day with her favorite holiday. She looked back over her shoulder hearing the door open out  and offered them a small smile, crossing her arms loosely over her chest. “Hey” she said politely. “Its a little stuffy in there, huh?”

Oliver had decided to go and check out the outdoor cinema with some of his friends. He knew it was Valentine’s Day, but he had been so caught up in his streaming stuff lately, as well as college work, that it hadn’t made sense to him to even consider asking someone out for it. He was standing in line for the popcorn, paying up as he grabbed the bucket, only to turn around and accidentally walking into someone as he went to check his phone to see where his friends were at. “Oh shit! Sorry!” He exclaimed as some of it spilled onto the grass underneath, looking up at them, “I should really learn to watch where I am going.” He added with a slight chuckle.

Harmony was both relieved and horrified about the way everything had unfolded. Of course she was happy that the rest of the students had been found alive and returned to their families. On the other hand she was completely sick to her stomach to find out who had been behind the entire thing. She knew Joshua, and had worked with him. She’d trusted him, and all along he had just been a monster who was making people disappear for his own sick game. Harmony didn’t know what his reasoning was but no reason he could have would be good enough for her. “Honestly I am glad that the nightmare is over for seven families, but I think there is a new one that is just beginning.”
