hi sage i’m thinking reikao thoughts (i wanna understand their dynamic..)

hmm it really depends at what point ur looking at... early on they kind of hate each other. lol. or at least kaoru hates rei... in 2nd year kaoru thinks rei's a spoiled brat for lack of a better term. he thinks rei's idolization of a 'normal life' is coming from a place of privilege (whichh it is!) which kind of dumbfounds rei who's only really been idolized up to then.... from there in the ! era. their early dynamic involves kaoru thinking rei is annoying and a weirdo while rei is like kukuku... i can fix him. as ! era progresses kaoru begins to open up... allowing rei to fully understand what's bothering him (it's mommy issues) and uh. badly 'fix' them. but what's great is that kaoru doesn't want to be fixed really. he doesn't think rei needs to do that... part of why he's annoyed w rei initially (kaoru's line of thought is like. rei thinks he can fix everyone's problems -> he sees himself as better than me (while also wanting my life which i hate) -> fuck this guy)

anyway. thus comes the pushing and shoving of finding the right balance... of dragging rei back to human territory from his pedestal and bringing kaoru up to realizing he can live his life as he wants. and just because that shifts doesn't mean his life was a waste. in the background of this they have fun idolization of each other ! rei sees kaoru as untouchable as he's like. the ideal human... while kaoru sees rei as the god he's worshipped as. and they slowly begin to see each other as ppl and it's very fun

!! era is more.. relaxed in their dynamic. they're partners now and know where the other stands.... kaoru is more fun and playful while rei plays up how helpless he is and kaoru knows when rei is joking and when he isn't (or at least can tell better... future conflict maybe). rei's horribly possessive of kaoru lol and it's nice... idk they're kind of yaoibait at this point but i still eat it up

if u want stories that focus on them a lot... main story of ! gives a good base for their dynamic; crossroad has crumbs but it's good. sets up the dynamic for 2nd year well. resurrection sunday, surfing ocean (this one's more just bc i like it than like. Deep relationship development), repayment fes, romantic comedy, and operetta are also very much recommended.... i need to reread these. lol

they're white-spotted/australian spotted jellyfish! they're native to australia, hence the name, but they've also been seen in hawaii, the gulf of mexico, the mediterranean, and a few other places. they're actually harmful to most of the ecosystems they inhabit, and are considered an invasive species, mostly because of their effect on shrimp populations. but it's okay they get a pass because they're cool-looking. god forbid jellyfish do anything am i right

trying to make me gayer than i already am apparently

no but actually it's a very good time over here, especially with the csm collab going on right now. there's recently been two new bands added to bandori, myGO!!!!! and ave mujica. both of them are currently side projects separate from the game, but it was announced recently that myGO!!!!! will be added to garupa this fall, so that's fun. i really hope ave mujica follows suit, because despite me not necessarily wanting more bands in the game (mostly just because i dislike change), i've been obsessed with ave mujica as of late. their music and aesthetic is all super cool & i highly recommend you check them out if you haven't!

hello lav i have recently come into possession of a small kagamine rin (stage sekai outfit version) plushie and would like to provide some enrichment for her. do you by any chance know which more more jump songs feature rin and also do you have any favorite pjsekai songs which have rin in them

for covers she can be fond in happy halloween, booo!, and setsuna trip.

and for comms, she sings in tenshi no clover, metamo: reborn, float planner, and we are the stain busters! (which also features miku).

also she sings in the original vocaloid version of newly edgy idols by mitchie M! she isn’t in the sekai version, but i thought i’d mention it because this version is really good and will provide adequate enrichment for your rin plush.

out of these i would recommend tenshi no clover, metamo: reborn, and float planner the most.

as for other more more jump songs, i think she would enjoy ice drop and i am, we are, because both feature len and are also just bops
