hi everyone the aviary has until november 2024 to raise enough money to find a new location or else all the birds will be rehomed

for those of you who don’t know the aviary has been operating out of an old house for years. the house is officially falling apart and is no longer safe to house the birds. the city has completely given up on us. the deadline to find a new place is november 2024, and if we don’t raise enough money to find somewhere else, the aviary will be forced to dissolve and all of the birds will have to find new homes.

it’s not easy to find homes for 20 large parrots, many of which aren’t sociable and have health issues. there is a pair of bonded macaws that cannot be separated and can be aggressive, loud, and destructive - there are not many places for them to go. it is not going to be easy to find somewhere else to go (especially with the current real estate market in canada) but anything and everything helps. please consider donating if you can :)

Hi y’all! Below are a few lost fics that us mods just can’t seem to find. That being said, we’re hoping that you lovely followers are able to help! If anyone knows any of the fics below please reply below or send in an ask with which anon/user and group ask that the fic corresponds with when the ask is back open!

The gang follows merlin into the woods.He sits ,not doing anything. Then a noble comes and a swordfight ensues.He says things like that you're Camelot's weakness. Take you out,Camelot falls. Merlin replies that the knights will protect Arthur and the noble says how can they with you doing their for the past decade.Then a druid girl comes and helps merlin. She takes off his shirt and bandages him up. Asks him of this wound wasn't much what did he consider much? Then an older druid women comes and performs funeral rites for the noble.The girl is a little starstruck and says that Emrys seems like a lot less than she thought he would and a lot more than she thought too. The women says that not to hold out hope as he's buried too many of lis lovers. Freya and Lancelot.Everyone returns and tries to make amends but don't tell merlin they know.Tgey start noticing his frequent absences. Gwen offers him fooda t the breakfast table with the knights and themselves. He declines ,calling her his queen and everyone is shocked because they hadn't noticed when he started calling her queen. It's an arwen fic,but there's no focus on relationships at all.

Basically Merlin could turn into a bird of prey (Idk what kind). I don't think Merlin was Arthur's servant, I think he just worked with Gaius, though I could be wrong there.

Arthur is really into falconry and he made friends with Merlin in his bird form and he'd use Merlin as his falcon instead of any others.

Some royal visits and makes his falcon attack Merlin.

Merlin realizes that the falcons belonging to that guy are acting kinda odd so he sneaks into the aviary in his bird form to kinda talk to the falcons there to see what's up. He changes back to human form to look around. He trips some magic sensor, or makes too much noise, or something and is discovered trying to shift back into a bird to escape.

(It's a completed work, most definitely Merthur, and probably on AO3. I've searched through my entire AO3 history and have had no luck. I'm beginning to think it may have been deleted.)

I don't remember much except for a scene where they were in a tower and the door was locked nd they had to get in and he made the okay sign and my ved his finger inside out to signal unlocking the door. At some points it's kind of implied that Merlin dreams about Camelot, but it's not a huge plot point. However he paints the scenes he dreams of because I think he's an artist in that one.

It's a lot of info, I could add even more details than that with how much I've read it, I just haven't found it in a while and I'm scared it's deleted.
