According to the holy scriptures, God Kabir is the only real Jagannath whose devotion will give us complete salvation. Saint Rampal Ji Must watch sadhana TV at 7:30pm daily #colours_of_kalahandi #amazing_kalahandi #kalahandi #jagannath #iskcon #krishna #harekrishna #radheradhe #vrindavan #radhakrishna #iskcontemple #radha #puri #radharani #lordkrishna #radhekrishna #radharaman #subhadra #lordjagannath #baladev #krsna #rathyatra #love #prabhupada #jagannathswami #radheshyam #krishnaconsciousness #srilaprabhupada #jaijagannath @aapno_ghewara @gd_memorial_college (at Jagannath Temple, Puri) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBxW0uVFU1w/?igshid=1oh0t8h3hw3oh

Ratha yatra , also referred to as Ratha Yatra or Chariot festival, is any public procession in a chariot. The term particularly refers to the annual Rathajatra in Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and other East Indian states, particularly the Odia festival[3] that involve a public procession with a chariot with deities Jagannath (Vishnu avatar), BalaBhadra (his brother), Subhadra (his sister) and Sudarshana Chakra (his weapon) on a ratha, a wooden deula-shaped chariot. It attracts over a million Hindu pilgrims who join the procession each year. Rathayatra processions have been historically common in Vishnu-related (Jagannath, Rama, Krishna) traditions in Hinduism across India, in Shiva-related traditions, saints and goddesses in Nepal, with Tirthankaras in Jainism, as well as tribal folk religions found in the eastern states of India. Notable ratha jatras in India include the Ratha jatra of Puri, the Dhamrai Ratha yatra and the Ratha yatra of Mahesh. Hindu communities outside India, such as in Singapore, celebrate Rathajatra such as those associated with Jagannath, Krishna, Shiva and Mariamman. According to Knut Jacobsen, a Rathajatra has religious origins and meaning, but the events have a major community heritage, social sharing and cultural significance to the organizers and participants. . . . . . . . #mavins #jagannath #iskcon #krishna #harekrishna #radheradhe #vrindavan #radhakrishna #iskcontemple #radha #puri #radharani #lordkrishna #radhekrishna #radharaman #subhadra #lordjagannath #baladev #krsna #rathyatra #love #prabhupada #jagannathswami #radheshyam #krishnaconsciousness #srilaprabhupada #jaijagannath #chaitanyamahaprabhu #jagannathpuri #bankebihari https://www.instagram.com/p/CBw1yyLg3uC/?igshid=8zau7xngdjx2

Snana-yatra is an important pastime of Lord Jagannatha. On this day, Jagannatha, Baladeva, and Subhadra allow Themselves to be bathed by all following the original tradition of worship at Jagannatha Puri. Devotees enthusiastically assemble at the Jagannatha temple to perform abhisheka with Cauvery water, milk, etc. This bathing goes on for a few hours in the midst of kirtanas glorifying Their Lordships and the chanting of the maha-mantra. Soon after which, We get Special Hati (Elephant) Vesh Darshan of Lord Jagannatha, Balarama & Subadra. Lord Jagannatha’s pastimes are such that after snana-yatra, Jagannatha, Balarama and Subhadra become “sick”, and, so, must take “medicines” and “take rest” until they become “rejuvenated” enough to go for Ratha-yatra. When they are “sick”, they are offered bhoga containing medicinal herbs without the usual offerings. But unfortunately this time for 2020 pandemic diseases like corona virus, bathing is not going to be completely public. Only worshipers can do it.
